Little but tough she knows her stuff.

she's young so at first you think the class will be easy. Really,she is hard but you will learn to improve if you want to. don't expect a's. Don't miss class she will drop you.

Don't let her appearance fool you. She is not a pushover. Instead, she is very fair and sincere with her teachings. You will leave her class with the writing tools needed to carry you through life.

Gina's class is very easy, all you do is read and answer questions. She is a very hard grader though. Not only that, she is way too ditzy. I didn't learn anything in her class, and I hope I never get her again.

Miss Gennari is a bit of a surprise...looks like a ditz, but grades like it's a grad course. All in all, her class is engaging and the group work is really cool. She truly cares for her students and not for her ego-if u take her just be prepared to work

she was really nice and helpful if you dont have a problem with english....if you hate english it wont work because she loves it...but shes real cool

To everyone who's harshing on Gennari: BUZZ OFF! She's an ENGLISH PROFESSOR of course she's hard...do you want to learn how to write? If you do, take her, is you want to be a slacker take someone else!!!

let's get real...miss g is hard, bc lit classes are hard. she wants people to think for themselves, and she is always fair. she even helps with advising...you can always talk to her, approach her. i've had some real bad teachers...she is NOT one of them. plus, she's pretty smokin'. don't be afraid to take her. you'll actually learn something.

Great creative writing teacher. Gave you interesting topics to write about and gave you alot of space to take it your story where you wanted it to.

Ms Gennari is an absolute sweetheart. Her classes are entertaining and fun, I looked forward to them. She is very fair and tells you how you will be graded. Her class is not hard unless you are a complete moron and don't know how to write a decent paper. She's also really funny. i wish a lot of other teachers could be like her because she knows how

Laid back but cool. Not good at teaching. Strict on grading. Helpful but get impatient if she has to repeat herself. I enjoyed her class. We watched "Lost" the entire semester and wrote essays about the movie.

I think that this teacher was fantastic!!! She offered interesting readings and discussions and was very interested in our thoughts. She is a strong, effective teeacher and I really hope that i have her again!

Such a great teacher. Everyone who writes bad things about her is just lazy. If you do your work and work hard on your papers you will do great in this class! It is an easy A if you actually don't mind doing your work! Such a nice professor, and she is very understanding and helpful!!

i love ms. g! her class was so interesting, and everyone felt comfortable talking and telling stories. she's really friendly and understanding, and even tho i don't love english, she made it barable.

Absolutely adorable! I had her at 8am and she came in with a lot of energy and always in a good mood. I loved the books we had to read and I enjoyed all the papers we wrote. If you read the material you will do fine. Her directions were very clear and she met with people to look at their papers before they handed them in. I would recommend her.

you pretty much have to be brain dead not to get this class or do well in it. everyone presents on an author and then theres a discussion. she lets everyone have their own idea and then she helps you understand the readings--they are hard. people who complain probably did nothing or did really bad and want an easy a. shes cool tho.

whaaat? This was the best class, so fun. Don't take it if u like boring classes that aren't cool. The workshops r a little stressing but its still easy.evry1 becomes friends- take this class!

Wow people she is not that bad, I have her right now and she is very good at teaching and she is reallly cute and down to earth gradng can be difficult but its college what do you expect?

I took her online class, & even though I didn't meet her, I really liked her. The class was intense & there was about 1-4 assignments per wk. There was a lot of reading, but as long as you kept up with it, then it wasn't that difficult to get the assignments done. She gave great comments & really helped me hone my skills. I would take her again!

She's great. You need to make the effort, but it's well worth it. A wonderful teacher. I would definitely take one of her classes again.

I took her online class & I found it to be very interesting. She is very helpful if you have any questions. The work level was average and she is a very fair grader if your willing to put effort into what you do.

I took her online Eng Comp II class. I got an A and thought she was a great teacher. If you think you can pass this class without doing the readings you are wrong. My 1st paper I got a B-, and by the end of the class I got A's and got a 96% on my research paper. I thought she was very helpful and I liked her a lot. You just have to do the work!

I have her for Eng Comp 2 online. She can be hard if your not a good writer but she deff helps you out and gives you good feedback on how to improve your papers. Her tests are easy and the readings pretty easy.

I love this class and love the prof. It is alot of work but i have learned a ton and read alot of cool short stories, Poem, plays etc in the process. If you want to learn alot take her!

I took her creative writing class and loved it. She is a whizz with prompts, and she really will respond to work on its own merits without bias or preconceptions. One of the excercises I did for her class became my first story to get accepted for paid publication. I love her.

She's very nice in class and allows everyone to state their opinion. A majority of our class consists of class conversations, which is nice. While her class is enjoyable, she is a very hard grader. I have never experienced such a difficult time maintaining an A.

For me the class was pretty fun. We spent about half of every class discussing each work. This helped to make the work easy to understand and it made class a social environment. Her blue book midterm and final were pretty easy if you simply read the work and showed up. However, she is a REALLY tough grader on papers. Curves final grade if you try.

She is a hard grader, I did not get A's on any assignments except the final. She is unclear about what she wants on papers but she will tell you if your idea is good or not. Participating and the critiques brought my B to an A

She is an awesome professor. I had her for Creative Writing II and really enjoyed it. If working for your grade and being treated like an adult is not what you're looking for - don't take this class. Well worth it if you are willing to do the work. She truly cares and will work with you as much as you need her to.

Very nice, will help you if you want. This is not an easy class, despite being at a community college. Don't take it if you don't like to write.

I took ENG 100 online, so I never got to meet this teacher in person. We emailed a few times about the course and she seemed super nice. You NEED to try to pass this class because it's a lot of typing and work. It was easy for me because I like this subject. It was easy if you try, and she was a good grader. Only got a lowish grade on 1 essay.

I took a Winter Online Accelerated Eng Comp 2 course with Professor Gennari and I LOVED it. It required a lot of writing, but the subject matter was super interesting! We used a True Crime Podcast for a full week of discussion boards and literary analysis papers and I really enjoyed it. Cool class, creative subjects. I'm taking her again!

Honestly what a lovely Professor. I took HUM142, American Cinema with her and she was great. You definitely need your textbook but seriously just watching movies all day and then discussing it - i would without a doubt love to take another class with her!

Very easy grader and gives detailed feedback. She does not assign many assignments and many of them are participation forums/discussions. Most of your grade depends on your 6-page final essay. Responds quickly to emails and is very professional.

even if you have no experience w/ creative writing, the Professor is very supportive and will help you to become the best writer you can be (effort is what matters here!)

Prof. Gennari was truly amazing, among the best professors I have ever had. She was responsive to emails, kind to students, and seems to enjoy her job. I really loved the course I took with her and I felt that her grading was very fair and her explanations regarding the rubrics were really spot on. Would take this course again in a heartbeat! (:

Prof Genarri was great, just follow the grading criteria and you should be fine. She is also understandable. don't hesitate to ask for help :)
