Best bio lab teacher in the world. Extremely helpful, knowledgable, and wants you to do well. Goes over quizes BEFORE you take them. She's really personable and nice. Throws in a few jokes every class. My whole lab class loved her. I think she is going to be teaching a psychology class next... definitely take her. Easy A.

She makes this class easy! She goes extremely out of her way to make sure her students understand the material and get a good grade. Gina is by far the greatest professor I have had throughout my college years. Not only does she truly CARE about the students (always finding time to respond to every call/text/e-mail even with her busy schedule) but she gives you everything needed to pass the class. All it takes it some effort and she helps you to LEARN the material, not memorize.

Interesting class and funny teacher. It is easy to get an A but you do need to put in some effort. I never read the book I just go to class every day and I have an A. She posts her power points online so you dont have to go, but it will make so much more sense if you do. Also she gives a lot of extra credit for attendence.

If you go to every class and complete the study guides you'll have no problem getting an A in this class. Attendance is mandatory but you are allowed to miss two classes. This professor is hilarious and makes the class enjoyable. The study sessions help out A LOT. Pretty much all of the info needed for the tests is in the power points.

I took PSB2000 with her and she has been the best teacher I've had yet at FSU! The class is interesting & if you attend class you'll know everything you'll need to for the tests. Dr. Moffitt is very inspirational to me. Her lectures made me want to go to class and I am certain that my attendance at her lectures is what led to me getting an A on all my exams. She breaks each aspect of the class down and makes sure that no matter how complex it may originally seem that anyone can understand it.

Very very interesting class but you definitely have to work for an A. Grade is just based off of 5 tests which are difficult if you don't study for them but definitely manageable. She's a great professor and makes the class very interesting. One of the best professors I've had so far.

The class itself is pretty tough material. Although attendance isn't mandatory I would highly recommend going because the class is interesting and she really knows how to teach (plus she gives random EC). Only 5 exams and a final, which is optional. Study her study guides AND PPs because the SGs don't cover everything on the exam.

She truly wants you to do well and always makes herself available to help. Attendance is not mandatory but it pays to go to class, I noticed myself having more trouble on the material on the test that I wasn't in class to learn plus random EC opportunities. I didn't buy the textbook and did well, the powerpoints and study guides are all you need.

Probably the BEST psychology professor you can have. Here's the basics: You get extra credit (life saver), all you have to do is be in class and take simple quizzes. She cannot be any more clear than she already is. She loves her job and it is the right one for her. If you have her for lab you're in good hands.

Dr. Gina is by far the best professor I've had at FSU. She expects you to come to class, but it is always worth it because she is hilarious and explains everything very well. Fill out her study guides and study questions and you are all set for the tests. If you have a chance, take Dr. Gina's class. You will not regret it.

Lectures are fun and super interesting! Dr. Gina is by far the best teacher I've had at FSU. She makes you work hard, need to study for daily quizzes and lab, but it is all to help you study as you go along. Tests are exactly what is on the study guide. Love this teacher. Make sure to read the book in order to pass exams; lecture notes will not suffice. Gives pop quizzes but they're very easy grade boosters. There is research requirement but that's not for a grade; just make sure to complete it early in the semester. Don't miss final. I could've had a B if I didn't oversleep for the final exam

Dr. Moffitt makes herself incredibly available to her students. She is unbelievably knowledgeable about the subject matter and typically answers questions with ease. She's funny and makes hard subject matter interesting, easy, and fascinating. You really need to read the chapters/study your butt off but if you work hard you can pull a good grade

Gina is a great professor and has awesome lectures. She cares about the students to learn the subject material in a way that everyone understands and can relate to. She gives great feedback is you just talk to her. She expects students to be responsible and gives plenty of extra credit (3% on final grade). Awesome professor.

Dr. Moffitt made a class of over 200 people feel much smaller. She is very good at responding to emails promptly. Her lectures are entertaining, and she gives a lot of extra credit opportunities if you attend the lectures.

Conditioning and Learning is a bit dry compared to the other EXP courses, but she ties it to clinical perspectives and neuroanatomy, which really brings life to this topic. She explains everything in detail with real life examples, which is helpful because the material can be complex. However, if you attend class and pay attention you should pass with no prob! PSY2012 consists of 5 exams (including final, but that's optional), 4 Critical Thinking assignments, and then you have to receive 7 research credits by the end of the semester (participate in experiments or write summaries of psych articles). Her study guides are great and tests are easy and she also gives EC! Such an easy class if u take with her.

If you skip you miss out on so many extra credit opportunities, and she explains the material in a way that helps clarify so much. This class is like an intro to anatomy but she makes it understandable and fun!

Dr. Gina is awesome, I definitely recommend taking her class!! I wouldn't say it's an easy A because you definitely have to work for it but I will say that getting an A is possible. Participate during class and go to her office hours so she can know who you are, doing that can be the difference between a final grade of 89.4% and 90%.

She's a sweetheart, her lectures are good, she adds interesting real life topics into the lectures, and gives out extra credit randomly just for showing up to class! Her exams are honestly pretty easy, just make sure you fill out her study questions and know the answers to each one (quizlet is the way to go) and you're 100% set!

I took her as a Bio Senior and she's the best of FSU. Dr. Moffitt responds to students quickly, gives extra credit, gave helpful test feedback, understanding of personal issues. An interest in human science will help for this class, but great for pre-health freshmen. No reason for less than A. It doesn't get any better kids.

Wow, Dr. Gina was the absolute best professor of my undergraduate career. She is engaging and will stimulate your interest in the subject matter. She shows a mastery of the subject at all times. If you have the option to take her definitely do so. Show up to class and you'll be able to pass easily. She is a very good lecturer.

1. Take EXP3422 instead, its just a little easier. However do not take it with anyone but DR.M. you dont have to come to class, but at the end of the semester and gives you a huge bump if you do. The best professor I have seen at Florida State so far. Her lectures are power point based (slides are posted). She ties in personal stories as well as things the students can relate to and remember. Tests are very straightforward as long as you look over the content and listen in class. Very understanding and will randomly give extra credit.

I loved her as a lab professor, super organized and knowledgeable, more than most lab teachers I've had in the past. She was super funny and showed she cares about our success. Lots of papers in this lab but that's standard for all psych labs. She grades tough but gives specific feedback for you to improve on, getting a good grade is very doable.

I am a non-psych major, but even as a crim major I gained valuable understanding. This class isn't easy, it takes alot of studying to pass her tests. While the material can be difficult (PSB2000 is categorized like CHM1045 or BSC2010 as a natural science), Dr. Gina makes the material come to life. Would take her again in a heartbeat. She genuinely cares about her students well-being and learning.

it is a difficult class, but it is not hard to pass. she makes it very straight-forward and tells us she is not trying to trick us. She says she tests us on "recognition not recall." Overall she is a good teacher and it's a good class but be ready to study... there is A LOT of info. attendance isn't mandatory, it counts for extra credit.

PSB with Gina was the best class Ive ever taken. Im a business major and I took it to fulfill a science credit and Im so glad I did. The lectures were fun, the material was interesting, and there wasnt a ton of homework. The exam materials come directly from the powerpoints that are posted online, which was helpful when studying for the exams.

Tests are hard, but if you work for the grade and you study youll be fine!! Shes an incredible teacher who really cares! Do the objectives at the end and youll be solid!! Seriously one of my favorite professors at FSU!

Dr. ONeil Moffitt is an awesome teacher. Brain and Behavior is a tough class no doubt about it but it is totally possible to succeed no matter your previous knowledge of the class material. It requires work and attendance but she makes it an interesting and fun class overall.

She is an AMAZING professor and FSU needs more like her! Class is optional, but she does do extra credit attendance randomly, so just go to class. The tests require studying, but if you study then you'll do fine. There is an option final at the end that replaces a low test score. Overall, she is great and I would take her class again!

Dr. ONeal-Moffitt is as understanding as any professor I have ever had! Her lectures are informative she answers all of your questions throughout. The homework isnt difficult but helps your grade if you do it. She provides extra credit opportunities and cares about helping her students learn the material and earn a good grade.

I took her for psychology and she was amazing! Anytime you need her she is always accessable. Her work isn't hard at all and we had online quizzes that went with what she was teaching which also helped our grade. In class lectures aren't boring and she is very outgoing when she does lecture. Transition to online was a little shaky (no lecture videos), but not impossible to handle. She shows that she is passionate about what she teaches and cares that we make good grades so long as you put in the effort and ask questions when you need help. Short quiz in the 1st 5 min. of every class to prepare you for tests, final was not cumulative

I love Gina so much as a psychology professor. Im in my first semester of dual enrollment and her class of fun for me. It requires a lot of study time for notes and test prep, but she gives you the info you need and is generally caring.

Truly phenomenal professor, even remote. She gives lots of relevant examples and brings in information from current events so things don't get boring. A little chatty, but funny and makes the material relatable which makes it easier for testing.

Great prof. The course is not difficult, but you do have to work for it. She wants students to read before class so that the material is at least partially familiar, but she goes over all of it in class. The lab experiments with this course are easy to do but there is a fair bit of writing in the lab. Would definitely take again.

Dr. O'Neal- Moffitt is such an amazing professor. She cares about her students mental health inside/outside of the classroom. At first the class may seem difficult, but after attending one lecture she reviews everything you might not of remembered from brain and behavior and still allows you to succeed in her class. Best professor I've had at FSU so far! She is amazing in her lectures and loves interacting with students during them. Study guide questions for every lecture and those questions are almost the EXACT questions that are put on the exams. The cumulative final is optional if you're satisfied with your grade in the class.

I respect Dr. Gina so much. She is one of the most knowledgeable and considerate people I know. She is hilarious, inclusive, and confident. Her subject is difficult, yet I've gotten above a 90 on every test thus far. She is extremely talented at teaching and you can really tell she loves what she does. Dr. Gina makes going to a 6:35-7:50 pm class so enjoyable. The course material is difficult but if you go to class and study you will do perfectly fine. It answered so many questions I had over on well-being, scientifically. She truly cares for her students. 10000/10 recommend. I'm now getting a psych minor bc of her. Her tests are literally her lectures. As long as you pay attention during her lecture, you'll do very fine. However neuroscience is never easy, BUT Dr. Gina makes it so easy and accessible! Love her forever. I'd recommend this class to anyone, any majors. Quality class, quality person, chef's kiss. If you're interested, you should reach out to her!

Dr. Gina was amazing. Her exams come straight from the lectures and PowerPoints, but as long as you pay attention, everything is straightforward. She's always ready to answer questions and makes herself available by text and email. No surprises on anything. She is an incredible teacher and really shows passion about the material.

If you need to take PSB2000, try to take it with Professor Gina! She was an awesome professor, and made a six week summer class feel a little less stressful. The guidelines for the class are communicated well, and expectations on exams are clearly given to you in the study guides in each powerpoint. The exams were easy A's if you studied the slides

Dr. Moffitt is extremely passionate about the material and is a great teacher overall. Tests can be difficult if you are not studying.

Wow, Dr.Gina is an incredible prof and has sparked my interest in neuroscience. Lectures are funny and easy to understand, although it's a lot of info - tests are very straightforward. Attendance is mandatory but 100% worth coming to as Dr.Gina makes it fun and engaging. She makes it clear you can contact her at any time and is happy to answer.

She was so knowledgeable and made the material extremely easy to understand. Best professor I have ever had and was funny in her lectures too which made it interesting and relatable. As long as you study the PowerPoints before exams, and do participation homework, it should be easy to do well in this class. Wish I could have her for other classes.

Dr Gina is an amazing teacher. She is so passionate about the subject and cares a lot for students. She gives you her personal phone number on the first day of class and you can reach out to her at any time with questions. There is a lot of content so you do need to spend time studying. She gives study guides that are a great study tool.

This was probably the best class I have ever taken in college. Dr. O'Neal-Moffit is one of the funniest and most engaging teachers I have met at Florida State, and I wish I could take her again. Lectures are fascinating and the study guides always match the tests. I would really recommend taking her class.

THE BEST PROFESSOR I have ever had. Dr. Gina makes me believe I can be a neuroscientist because she is so enthusiastic with her lectures, and I can't wait to take another class with her. The only grades that go into Canvas are tests, so def go to lectures even though they're not mandatory. Material can be hard to understand, but overall I loved it!

Dr. O'Neal-Moffitt is awesome! She tries her best to explain everything well and make sure you understand it before the exams. You really need to study to do well in the class because 4 exams are 75% of your grade, but she makes it easy for you if you attend lectures and listen well!

Dr. Gina is by far one of my most favorite professors I've ever taken a course with. She does a fantastic job of making the lectures engaging and interesting! There are quizzes almost every class that were based on the material we were currently going over which helped a ton with learning the material along the way. Interesting course, great prof.

Dr. Moffitt has been the best professor I have had the pleasure of taking at FSU. She is extremely caring about her students and makes herself available to anything you need. She is receptive and has an absolutely incredible way of lecturing. She breaks the content down and meets you where you are at. Tests are not difficult if you go to lecture.

If you are looking to take CLP3305 and don't know what professor to pick I HIGHLY suggest you chose Professor O'Neal-Moffitt. As a senior, she is the most caring and authentic teacher i've had at this school. She is a GOOD teacher. She offers extra credit, the class is made up of exams and some homework (which is straightforward and easy).

Dr. O'Neal-Moffitt has been a joy to have as a professor. She really tries connecting the material to us, and I believe it to work. Most importantly, she cares. I've seen her talking with me and several other students about their goals, paths, and just life in general. Her class was enjoyable and interesting, and I'd take it again if I could.

This is my second time taking a class with Dr. O'Neal-Moffitt. I have never met a professor who is able to hold the attention of hundreds of people each lecture, continue to provide engaging material throughout the semester, and show unconditional positive regard for her students. If you have an opening in your schedule, take any of her classes!

She is a great professor. Easy to understand and interesting. The study guide helps a lot when you study because the test is mostly from that. the tests are all multiple choice.

Gina is super engaging, supportive, and creates really exciting lectures. She cares about each student and makes it very easy to succeed in her course. Great professor! Makes learning easy and breaks down information very well. The tests are on paper, but they are very straight forward and come right off of the study guides.

Dr. Gina is super chill and has very interactive lectures. The achieve learning assignments aren't super pertinent but everything on the slides is on the tests. The class is pretty test heavy with that being the bulk of your grade. The tests are pretty straightforward with all the material being on the slides and covered again in class.

PSB 3004 (not an option) Top tier lecturer. Hard class but she makes it entertaining. Really cares to see students do well and for their mental health. She runs a democracy, values student feedback, and adjusts accordingly. Slides well organized; doesn't just read off of them. Attendance not mandatory; go anyway because you'll actually learn.

There are four tests throughout the semester, each taken directly off the study guides and PPTs from class. She makes classes fun and engaging, would recommend!

Dr Gina is one of the absolute BEST professors at FSU. She made this class so interesting and cool to the point that I find myself referencing her teachings when someone asks me about my major (Neuroscience). If you have even the smallest chance to take a class with her, DO IT! It will probably be one of the best classes you ever take.

If you show up to class and take notes, and fill in her study guides based on her slides the test should be very easy, the questions are exactly like the study guides. Don't make that discourage you from going to class. She explains her slides by straight up telling you what will be on the test, it can take more time to understand on your own.
