you always know what to expect on exams and with the assignments. a very helpful, clear, and fun prefessor. i have learned more from this professor than any other.

This was my favorite class. I found the topics interesting. This class was a breeze. She let's you know what you need to do to make the grade. She's a great Prof. A+++++++++++

Mrs. Le Blanc is one of the best teachers on campus. Before this class I was afraid of taking a Statistics course, however, Mrs. Le Blanc has made the subject very understandable and enjoyable. In fact, Statistics is one of my favorite subjects I have ever taken on campus.

Mrs. LeBlanc's ITV course is great for students who are self directed and self-disciplined. She doesn't offer a Q & A period for the whole semester, so if you're gonna get it - you'll get it from the text. However, if you read the text and fully answer the essay questions, you can't miss in this class.

I was able to pass without even doing a lot of studying. I would have gotten a higher grade if I had applied myself more. Good teacher, fair and helpful. Would recommend taking the class.

Psych B1a-ITV Course. Le blanc is straight forward. Very minimal written work is required. You MUST know the materials, as the majority of the grade is based on 4 tests. Recommended for those who are self learners.

Dr. LeBlanc is a great professor. Statistics are not easy, but she works hards with you. She is in her office when she says she will be there, so take advantage and ask for her help. She will help you any time you have questions in class or e-mail her from home, and she gets back to you pretty fast.

Awesome teacher. Highly intelligent person and well structured curriculum. I took the ITV class. Just read the chapters and understand them. Tests will be easy if you know the material. Don't stress over the study guide, the answers are in it. And don't bother reading the extra stuff at the end of the chapters. Don't watch the videos. Great class!

Very clear and helpful, but don't expect to be babied. If you're just not "getting" it after a few weeks, it's not beyond her character to make you feel stupid. She expects good work and nothing less.

this is by far one of the best teachers that BC has to offer if you take any class with her you will gain more information from her classes then you would in most others. very clear and easy to learn from. i passed her class with more than 100% thats how easy Dr. LeBlanc makes this class.

Professor LeBlanc is the coolest! She is very helpful to those students who take her class seriously and give it their effort. I took Biopsychology with her and shes very passionate about the subject. This class is not a breeze, but if you read the material and use the workbook, then it shouldnt be so difficult.

Loved her! I suck at Math, but she made the information easy to understand and was helpful in clarifying when needed. She grades on a curve, so that's even better. Take her class, she's easy to understand and grades easily as well.

I took the ITV course and struggled with understanding the information. There is a lot. I was also taking Child Dev. and the material was similar. This contributed to me confusing what I was learning. LeBlanc suggested I use flash cards and this helped me to pass with a "B".

Dr. LeBlanc is a great teacher and can be hard on you because you need to understand the material for other classes. It took me a while to understand her method of grading and what she actually tested on. I needed my book but her tests are more off of the lecture notes. Can be hard to contact by email. Miss a day you miss a lot.

This was a difficult course, although as long as you attend the lectures, you will get a great understanding of the information. Dr. LeBlanc delivers the material so you understand. Make sure to print out the Power Point lectures provided. This will help immensely for note taking and studying. Although an extremely busy teacher, she cares.

dr leblanc is a great teacher. she explains hard topics by using really cool examples. you have to study a lot outside class and come to class.

I definitely recommend Dr. LeBlanc. She is a good teacher; she's organized and explains concepts well. Attendance is necessary because she tends to give assignments and quizzes in class, but they are not hard. The class, on its own, is very interesting, but it makes a big difference when a great professor like LeBlanc is teaching it.

Dr. Leblanc is one of the best professors at this school. I took her for biopsyc and for psyc b5. For biopsyc that class is very challenging but she made that class very interesting and broke down the material for the class. She also has a studyguide to let us know what to expect on the test.

Took the online class. Got a solid A. 5 tests in semester, multi choice, and if u answer wrong u can correct and get partial credit. Sticks hard to the syllabus. Homework and research papers mandatory for a decent grade. Plan on reading the entire textbook.

Great teacher. Took her 4 behavioral stats & she made it easy. Doesn't have you do math; has computers do it instead. B or better on all tests = option to not take final. Drops lowest test score. No hmwk except for workbook due on test days. Her examples made the math easy & understandable. Class was fun and I enjoyed it. Highly recommend!

Couldn't ask for a better teacher, if you go to class and pay attention to her lecture she gives you all the information you need for the test. She does a really great job explaining concepts and often relates things to food. Not the easiest class but having a great teacher makes a world of a difference. Highly recommend for Psych B5.

Dr. LeBlanc was a good teacher. You do need to attend class for the lectures, and you must study for the tests, but they are all multiple choice (: There were quite a few research papers, but overall, if you just come to class and do the work you'll get a good grade.

She is completely available durring the school week, but is hard to get in contract with any other time. Expects students to act like adults, and earn their grade.

Dr. LeBlanc is by far the best professor; she pushes you to be your very best. Important to attend lectures and be prepared. Four exams & a final(if needed). 1 research paper(3 pg) 1 empirical project. A couple of small assignments, nothing too complicated. ONLY review your notes and watch the videos when studying because thats the whole test in a nutshell. Book, barely used it, buy it tho. Also, do every assignment (easy) and you'll get an A. Bio Psych isn't the easiest subject, but in Dr. Leblanc's hands, is fascinating and manageable. She is the best, willing to do anything to make sure you understand. Do the reading to assist with understanding of the material, as LeBlanc will tell you, there's a lot to memorize in Bio Psych. Will definitely miss her as I transfer.

If you show up to class, take good notes, and ask questions, you will have no problems in this class. There is no better teacher than LeBlanc, she knows what she's talking about because she did fieldwork. Excellent teacher, really helpful with the required research project. Highly recommended.

Professor LeBlanc is just an all around amazing teacher! I'm actually sad that I don't need another PSYC class to take with her. She relates what she is teaching to things that you understand. ex: football, food, etc. Make sure you take notes- almost everything she says in class will be on the exams! I was worried about the subject because... well, the brain is intricate and understanding chemistry, biology, etc. isn't really my strong suit but I actually learned. I can explain the process of neurotransmission and that's super cool. This is thanks to Professor LeBlanc. She's funny, relevant, and extremely knowledgeable about the subject.

Have a total of 5 exams worth 50 points each and drops your lowest score. 3 research papers worth 10 points each and 2 activites which is creating your own test questions worth 10 points each. Final is worth 52 points multiple choice. Give her about a day to response to emails but she does response. Got a B

LeBlanc is a great professor. Her tests were pretty straightforward, however if you don't study, you will most likely not pass. It is clear that she is passionate about what she teaches. She is very clear at explaining things which is very helpful since the material can be somewhat confusing.

I was very scared to take statistics because I passed algebra 1 & 2 with a C, but professor LeBlanc is an amazing professor she truly makes the class easy to understand and I ended up getting an A in her class.

The class is challenging but its very rewarding because of what you learn in this class. I could have taken an easier professor but Im glad I took her. On the first day of class, LeBlanc said, at the end of the semester, you will know less about the brain than what you all know now. If you want to know what shes talking about then take her.

I loved Ginger's class i saw some comment regarding her tests being hard, but honestly you have to read each chapter and you will understand the questions i highly recommend her and if you ever have any trouble she can help.

Dr. LeBlanc, Gives a clear grading criteria. Get ready to read for exams and final. If you don't send in your research papers and MC questions on time you will receive a zero. Responds to e-mails very promptly, and tries to answer any questions you may have. Very accommodating to DSPS students.

Leblanc was amazing I didnt think I could pass stats but sh really makes it easy for us and she drops your lowest test score. I ended up not having to take the final because my grade would remain the same. I will be taking a class with her again in the fall for psych b1b

I started off bad and held a low "C" for about 3 weeks but was able to bring it up to an "A". She's super fair with grading and gives you a lot of opportunities to bring your grade up. The lectures are information heavy, but she makes it interesting and easy to follow along. Highly recommend!!

Had her for B5 & B1B the same semester. Didn't mind it at all! She was pretty funny, a great teacher (because she clearly knows her stuff and loves it), and her classes were enjoyable. I earned A's in both. Do the work, study for the tests (especially if you struggle with understanding), ask questions, and at least care enough to show up to class.

I LOVE taking her classes. I took her Online for PSYCB1A and got an A. I am currently taking her for PSYCB1B and so far I have an A. The assignments are through Pearson Revel and a few research papers. There are 50 point exams on 3-4 chapters at a time. Just follow her instructions and you will pass with flying colors.

I dropped my in-person class to take it online and I am so glad that I did. Easiest A of my life. She is amazing and you only have to do 2 research papers (only half a page long). Also have unit tests and little chapters you have to read. Soooo easy!

By far one of the best professors on campus! She is awesome and very dedicated to her job. She makes it so easy to understand, so if you dont pass thats because you didnt show up to class.

She made class and lecture very enjoyable. A few exams throughout the semester but she makes whats going to be on the exams very clear so you're prepared. This class was extremely easy to pass. The way to get an A is to show up to every class and you are pretty much guaranteed to pass with an A. Her lectures are good and really put statistics into common terms. The only way to fail and struggle in this class is by not showing up to her lectures which.

Dr. Leblanc was the first professor that I ever felt relaxed with when studying at Bakersfield College. Even with the intense lectures, she made the course manageable enough to pass with a confident grade. She strangely reminds me of Judge Milian as an off topic comment. Nonetheless, she genuinely cares for your education and answers questions.

LeBlanc is an excellent professor. She grades with very little amount of work. Your grade is mostly based on your test and quiz you do online plus your tiny research papers that are half a page. If you put in the effort youll pass. She is very funny and makes the lectures interesting to listen to. Going to be taking her again this spring.

I was so scared of this class because math isnt my thing. She put those fears to rest. If you can do basic 3rd grade math you are good. She makes the often confusing world of stats totally understandable. Bonus, if you haven't missed any test and have a good enough score at the end of the semester you do not have to take the final!

I took her in person and her lecture is based off of her speaking not of the slides. She can be confusing sometimes but she does explain well. If you plan to take an 8am better make sure you're a morning person, she's a heavy lecture and exams are pretty easy, she tests you on her lecture so you have to write important things she says. JUST STUDY

Wasn't super engaged with this class and Psych is just not my subject (summer class during COVID) Readings and MC quizzes, 5 exams, and short research papers.

Since I took this course during the COVID-19 pandemic, I feel that this course would have benefitted from recorded lectures. This was very much a ''self-taught" course - the only guidance that my cohorts and I received were recorded study guides for the exams. If you are taking this course online, be prepared for a TON of reading!

She is very to the point, follow directions and just pass the class. Not an easy A or a hard A, just do the work and study for the tests.

Amazing! This is not the class you can just cheat in! You have to watch the lectures and videos she gives. You won't regret it because her lectures are VERY interesting and she's funny. She is also caring, she'll make announcements throughout the course making sure your on the right track. She is always there to help, so go to office hours.

I took the Psych B5 class online, and was nervous about it. Dr. LeBlanc was clear and concise in her lectures. She gave great video lectures that were easy to comprehend and were engaging. I appreciated that she was available to help with any questions and explanations needed. She was a great teacher and I enjoyed learning STATS in this class.

Dr. LeBlanc was an amazing professor for PSYC B1B. Her assignments consisted of 3 extremely short research papers, chapter quizzes, and 5 exams. It is necessary to watch her lectures to pass the exams. Dr. LeBlanc's lectures were very interesting, and she presents the topics in an easy manner. If you do everything she asks, the class is an easy A.

The material of this class is what makes it difficult, not the professor. There are chapter quizzes that are worth all or nothing, but you have unlimited tries to get 100%. Her lectures are informative and engaging. The tests match the lectures and textbook material. Definitely one of my favorite professors.

You have to put in work. Lots of work. There is a lot of homework and quizzes are like weekly. However, Dr Leblanc is an excellent teacher. The way she does her modules, and homework make it possible for you to understand the tough material. She is always willing to help and is constantly offering it. She is engaging even through online courses. Her teaching methods helped me in other classes. For example I had her last semester for biological psychology and she assigned research studies. Those assignments she gave us helped me in this semester with my history class assignments.

Her 8-week class consisted of 5 exams (50 questions 2h limit) and homework for every module (which was not bad). Lectures are mandatory and there is a final at the end that will drop the lowest exam grade. No late work is accepted and as long as u do the assignments you will pass. The class is not bad as many have said

I came in knowing very little about Bio Psych, and came out feeling like I know even less (in a good way). The way she talks about the subject is quite captivating and makes it very easy to follow along. Attendance is a must as the class can be a little confusing but otherwise great professor which I highly recommend.

If you don't know how to study...well you going to learn in her class. Very funny during lectures. I learned so much in her class. Exams are worth a lot tho. She's very kind and caring for all her students. Notetaking is a MUST. Would take it again. Also, quizzes affect your grade A LOT.

I love the setup for her online class. This is a work at your pace class. Professor is available during office hours scheduled AND by appointment. She is thorough and wants the student to understand the subject. The power points are very useful. Read the chapters, watch her lectures using her power points and you'll do great in this class.

Confident and expresses herself clearly. Some material outside her subject line she does not know. Hates it when you submit any assignment late, but when I showed her the facts, she gave me the total credit. The multiple-choice exams were simple common sense from the textbook and lectures. Getting about 90% on all of them, I could skip the final.

Took Prof. LeBlanc online for Psych B5. Homework assignments were worth a lot and she grades very harshly. Exams aren't too bad as long as you put in the work. An A is very doable! Also please ask her to open up the exams and review the ones you got wrong, there were answers that were wrong when I was right. She gave points back!

Prof. LeBlanc's PSYCB5 class is a challenging but rewarding experience. The workload is heavy, but her engaging video lectures and availability to help make it manageable. Unstuck study was a lifesaver for studying and preparing for exams. Overall, an excellent class.

Amazing professor!! Her lectures are very clear and understandable. She brings a very positive energy to the subject and adds humor in her lectures.Very few assignments and tests are pretty easy. Just watch the lectures and take notes and you will be ok. She does not accept any late work, so complete assignments on time. Highly recommend!!

Took this class a few years ago and still think about it! LeBlanc was an amazing professor, and I really felt like she cared and took pride in her job. Show up to class early and pay attention to the lectures.

This is the second class I've taken w/ Dr. Leblanc and she is just as amazing! She explains concepts SO well and her lectures are engaging and interesting. Not much work at all, and plenty of time to complete all assignments. If you want an easy class that is actually enriching, I recommend her!!!

She was amazing! She made learning understandable and was always there to help. She's caring, supportive, and overall, an all-around great professor. I would definitely recommend her class!

Dr. LeBlanc is a professor I certainly recommend. She is very helpful when you feel stuck and always offers Zoom help even tho it an online only class. There is some work/reading however if you do the work and submit your work on time you will suceed. Her goal is to help you suceed.

Her class has been one of the most interesting. If you like learning, I recommend this professor. She is fun, and her lectures are exciting.
