her test are hard but she tells u where to get the stuff from (internet) and her papers are FREAKING EASY u just plagiarize right there and she gives u an A i didnt even try and i got an A in the class..i was always late LOL

Awesome Teacher. Very nice, she cares about her students, and gives opportunities for extra credit. She knows her stuff and tries her best to make the class interesting. Her tests aren't easy but they're not mind-boggling either. If you pay attention in class and open your book once in a while you should get an A.

Just come to class and do the written assignements and ur bond to past. get at least a high d on the test and ur at least going to get a C.

I had Professor Peterson for my last class of the day and no matter how tired i was whether it be from my other classes or doing some hard partying the day before I always looked forward to her class. I've learned so much in that class, just show up, do your chapter reviews, and study before the test over your class notes and you'll pass for sure!

i learned alot from you class but her test doesnt correlate with what she teach in class you must have a book to pass. i studied hard but made a b, c, and d on her exams but i got an A in the class because she give a lot of extra credit

Miss Peterson is a very nine person, always smiling!! She gave only 4 exam and a lot of extra credits.She used current example to help us understand the concept en psy.Attendance is mandatory and worthed 20% of the final grade. Take her, you will enjoy the class and learn a lot!!!!

This professor really is nice, just don't slack in class. She teaches very well and is more interested in you understanding the real concept of psychology which makes her a good teacher.Make sure to take notes and your textbook is ESSENTIAL. Overall, I learned a lot and I'm glad I took this class with her.

Great, nice, helpful, clear teacher. Answers all questions. Grades based on 4 Exams, 1 Powerpoint presentation, Extra Credit, and Attendance/Participation. Reading the material is MANDATORY. It's not difficult, just time consuming.

You can't goof around in this class because if you do you wont get a good grade. She gives extra points on the test so that's a big time +. You do have to read the chapters and actually pay attention to the lecture to get a decent grade

This professor litterally can catch a 30 year old's attention and teach them a 2nd or 3rd language if she wanted to. She KNOWS how to teach. Shes super mellow, talks super clear and honestly I havent had a professor like this in a while. I recommened this Professor to everyone. She just knows how to teach. Awesome class.

Awsome Professor,she kept the class interesting.There were three test 50 questions each, no mid term and no final exam.

EASY! let me just put that out there. She is very nice. I thought she was going to be mean but complete opposite. No class work, extra credit that is as easy as it gets. Take her if anyone this is the best teacher of my semester and I wish there was a teacher like her for every subject. Overall FUN class. LOVE IT !

I highly recommend this professor for PSY2012. She makes PSY alot of fun and keep it very interesting. I took this class for Summer A (6 wks) and loved it. 1 powerpoint presentation. 3 exams and extra credit for attendance and participation. She is fair, kind, and willing to answer all your questions. Crystal clear!! I got an "A" in her class :)

Wonderful Professor! Yes, you have to read your book. Book is mandatory. She always gives you xtra credit to boost your grade. Lectures are clear, English is crystal clear. Love her!

This Professor is hands down the best Professor at North Campus. She is crystal clear during her lectures, and always brings extra material to relate what we're studying to the real world. She answers all questions, is very cheerful, and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend her to anyone thinking of taking a Psychology course. She is amazing!

Professor is awesome as long as you follow her syllabus you have the potential of receiving and A. She i big on attendance and big on PASS DUE ASSIGNMENTS so make sure you follow the syllabus. But aside form that she is very organized and makes the subject extremely interesting.

The class overall is simple, I really had no need to purchase the book, however, I would skim it to get an idea of what she would be discussing in class before entering class. If you do not show up to class she will lower your grade so do your best not to miss her class. It is probably the best class to take as a mini term.

I loved her! She was very nice and always answered any questions I had! She explains the chapters in a way that makes it interesting and fascinating. Just be on top of when the homework is due, because it might not be due on the same day that it was the last time you turned it in. She also gives 10-15 min breaks in the middle! 5 stars!!

very clear lectures and is passionate about what she teaches. assigns journal project, and a paper on a video. grades generously. i wrote multiple pages for my paper and person next to me wrote one sloppy page and we both received As. just take notes and study them. 3 tests and they are exactly what she lectures. enjoyed the class, recommended!!!!!

This professor gives clear lectures. Mandatory attendance 3 or more lowers your grade by one letter grade. Gives online homework and tests through a code you need to buy from the textbook. Assigns papers and presentations at the end of the course. really gives the students opportunities to raise their grade

Highly recommend that you show up to class, if you do bring a doctors note. The majority the the material learned is common sense. You REALLY need your textbook, every chapter is used. We only had three exams, each exam was 50 questions . One essay about a video (easy A), and one super easy journal assignment. THERE IS NO EXCUSE FOR FAILING.

Grades 3 tests and 2 research papers. The lectures are interesting enough that you won't fall asleep unless you've been up working for "25 hours". The book is "mandatory" but I haven't read it.

Test are online, essay on a book ("The Help" for my class) , capstone project that is easy, and a trip to the Everglades. Homework is extra credit for tests, usually from 10-15 points. Homework is just reading and answering questions online. Do the extra credit homework as it help A LOT. She is very nice, and give a lot of extra credit

Her class is fairly easy, all of the assignments and exams are online. make sure to do them before time because she will not reopen them for anyone. 1 critic paper, super easy, and a powerpoint presentation, which is also super easy.

ginny is a sweetheart overall the course is irrelevant attendance wasn't really mandatory but of course if you miss 3 or more days without telling her she will drop you and attendance was apart of this course. only 3 exams. she also took us to the everglades which was cool but a waste of my weekend. She will lecture till the very end of the class, does not use power points (very old school; hand written on board) Says the book is mandatory but I never opened it.. everything on her tests are covered in her lectures. I copied everything she wrote on the board and studied that. Participate, pay attention, and do her silly projects. you'll pass.

her voice is very soft the only problem is the course it's boring . overall take her we went to the everglades and also did 1 activity on campus with the class. the book was $50 plus tax you're going to need it anyways* and also we did 1 paper super easy. actually learned some interesting traits about yourself

This class was boring but for the most part its an easy class.. I only brought the online access code to do homework and exams.. Her lectures didnt really help me.. Had barely anything to do with the exams.. follow her syllabus and youll pass.. make sure you do all the online homework.. shes a nice lady

Dr. Peterson is one of the most nice and caring professor I have ever had. Her class was an easy A if you read the chapter and do the hw you will pass. The test are online and you can use the book. There are two written assignments and one power point which are very easy, as long as she sees that you tried she will give you an A.

I took Dr. Peterson for my psychology and IDH honors course, and she is amazing. In my opinion she is the nicest and caring professor at MDC, loves her job and will help you with your application process. We did a PBL project and I learned a lot. Caring, nice and understand the struggle of being a student. Take her, you will not regret!

Such a kind woman and LOVES participation. Her work is super easy, her exams are based on chapters not a course overview. She is a slow grader and not very punctual but she is a good person easy grader. Easy class just actually do the work cause it's not a lot.

Taught relevant and up to date material. Care about your career choices, yes a bit late but that gave the class enough time to be in place. Once she in every minute was used to prep and prepare us for the next chapter. Looking to see if she's teaching another one of my classes.

Her lectures are interesting and well-organized. Homework for this class is an easy A as long as you complete all of it, and the tests aren't all that complicated if you pay attention to the PowerPoints. She gives out projects throughout the year, but are simple and can be done in a few hours. My only concern is how she tends to arrive late.

If you are looking to take CLP1006, I recommend taking it with her! She is an amazing professor and wants students to improve themselves throughout the semester. Overall, she does require reading the chapters since there were only 3 exams and 2 written papers that were pretty okay.

Progressive thinker, traditional grader. Firm with grades. READ test questions and answers multiple times. Also, it is very comical to be graded on a stress journal.

The sweetest teacher Miami-Dade can have. Does not matter if you are late or have an emergency, extremely understanding. You do not feel left out in her class. Two presentations but you do not feel scared once you're in front of the class. Couple of exams and assignments, very easy. She makes lessons engaging and interesting, the absolute best.

We participated, we did yoga one time, she was nice, we had one project, 4 exams. As long as you read youre good, participate in class, and her class is super easy, there is no homework just study and read. There was a book requirement but i never had to buy it, we never used it.
