By "hott",I mean she always dresses fashionably and has an awesome shoe collection :) Ms.Tucker ROCKS!!! Study for her tests,ALWAYS go to class,participate while you are there,and you will do well in her class. She will give you what you DESERVE. Don't mind her accent,she speaks very clearly and intelligently. She WANTS her class to succeed.
Professor Tucker is a great professor! If you're looking for a professor that shows passion for what they're talking about, rather than just standing up there looking as if they'd rather be somewhere else, this is the course for you to take. She was very helpful and the course was interesting. Not for people that are immature.
This is a GREAT teacher! I dont think she is respected enough. She works hard in and out of class yet is ALWAYS there if you need her! She really wants you to succeed!!! Very clear on what is expected. There is a lot of reading and if you do that and look at all of the powerpoint presentation that are provided, you will do well! I would take her again if she was teaching something else. Whatever grade you end up with, you deserve! Yes, she is very pretty and dresses very well! But dont sign up for this class if thats all you are looking for!! This lady can handle herself! No playing around in this class! Thanks Mrs. Tucker!!
Very passionate! Wants to help you open up to the subject, not be an expert! Gives you everything you need to pass, as long as you try and be respectful of her time and effort. Will give as much as you give it! Would take again!
Ms. Tucker is one of those professors who students give one glance at and judge her automatically. She may be a pretty face but she knows her stuff! I've never met a professor more passionate about their work. She is the ultimate role model. PS: don't get on her bad side! I loved this course.
She is a very nice teacher. She is hard in class but only because she wants you to succeed. If you ever need help go talk to her she is willing to help you and is very nice about it.

An amazing professor who knows her stuff! She relates political policies to real life situations. When it comes to politics and law this woman is on point. Don't get smart; she will put you in your place! Overall, I'm loving this professor! Dresses very well!

Miss Tucker gives awesome lectures that are fun, informative and offer areal world perspective to what otherwise would be boring as hell! The only way this person found her teaching awful is if they were dead from the neck up! This is college & she is not your mom!

This professor really cares about her students. Gives every opportunity to pass her class & goes beyond lecturing. She saw me as more than just a student by giving me solid advice, helping me narrow my major and explaining in simple terms what was being taught. She is also pretty cool. Never thought I'd find politics fun! She makes that course!
Coolest professor ever! I'm still in her class but I'm gonna miss taking her next semester. Laid back and allows you to be an adult but you gotta do the work! She is definitely not bad on the eyes either!
Mrs. Tucker is a great teacher however if you don't read the course can and will be difficult. Like others have said she does get off topic a little but she relates it back to what we are discussing so it gives the class a little humor as well as relatable examples. Do not fall behind because it will be very difficult to catch up
Lol! It's funny how a student doesn't show up for class and expects to pass Miss Tucker's class. The students all know who wrote the previous complaint. Don't lie about professors because you failed. This teacher gives you every reason to pass and makes it fun! Hiding behind a computer to complain because you failed her exams makes you petty!
I agree! Miss Tucker gives a syllabus which clearly states the grading scale. 4 exams, open note quiz, and a research paper. She also gives extra credit in case you fail an exam. If you failed it's because you're lazy or you don't show up to class. Person that complained obviously failed! Lie on someone else boo!
Bruh if you gonna lie then at least get the timeline right! Last day to withdraw was October 23, the exam was 2 days later October 25. How was she "so far behind" in grading when we ain't even take the exam yet! Miss Tucker you good with me! The hater needs to keep hating. Ms Tucker rated high cos she just that good!
Professor Tucker is amazing! Her tests are pretty easy and all you have to do is study. She also gives you extra credit just in case you don't do great on the test. Plus she gives you a study guide. If you don't pass this class you either didn't study, show up, or turn in assignments on time.
Would love to take again! She's hilarious and is always engaged. If she goes off on a tangent, trust me it always relates to the material in some form or fashion. Her study guides are straight to the point! Do them and you are SURE to pass. Also, pay attention to what she repeats in class. How she says things is how they USUALLY appear on tests.
I found her class very mixed. Some days I didn't enjoy it at all. Her power points are very text heavy. She can get petty about attendance, no she doesn't take attendance, but she sometimes decides to give study guides out on days where the class is missing a lot of people. She uploads study guides and takes them down within 8 hours.
Great professor who always lets you know when her study guides are posted! Without them most of the class would fail her exams. Last reviewer must suffer from selective amnesia cos that's not my experience. She definetly knows her stuff! And attendance is still required in college so if you dont show up shes not gonna repost any materials. Love her
Took this class because I had to, but I'm glad she was my professor! Amazing lectures and made the subject fun to learn about. Plus she adds hilarious stories about her life and is quite hilarious! Would definitely take again!

I took this class for the Summer as one of my required prerequisites. Ms. Tucker is an amazing teacher and knows her stuff. If you are not aware of politics, you will want to learn more. Show up for class, and study the course outline which she provides for you. The class, like any other, once you put the work behind it, you will pass. 5 stars.
She doesnt answer emails and if you write a paper with views different from hers you will get a bad grade.

Between lectures,her study guides that we all needed to pass, and the extra credit she offers, you a dummy or just didnt do the work if you fail. Cool teacher that made a boring subject kinda cool! Would definetly recommend taking her class!
She isn't a bad instructor and is to the point. But in the online class I took, the tests did NOT mesh with the material learned. I dropped the class and so did several other students because this happened on the first test and assignments. I can't risk that, being I only have a couple classes left before entering the Nursing program.
Best professor I have ever had. If you go to class, and do the work you will pass! She's amazing.
Took miss Tucker in american government. Her replies to questions or concerns were often rude and snarky. She graded based on her political opinion. I submitted a paper taking a conservative view on an issue and I received a B. But she gave an A to a classmate who took a liberal view with the same amount of support for their argument.
Grades strictly on political views. If you have a different political opinion than her, you will get a bad grade. Tiny mistakes are costly, got 8% knocked off of a paper for an incorrect in text cite. If you have a choice, don't take this class. It's not worth the stress.
This teacher is not interested in her students or in seeing them succeed. She graded papers arbitrarily and with her liberal bias. Instead of following the information in the text book, she graded just by her political opinions and if you don't agree with her, you're going to fail. So if you have to take this teacher, always with Liberal views.
Professor Tucker was an amazing teacher. Shes very understanding of her students and is very passionate about what she teaches. She does require quite a bit of reading. She grades pretty lenient for the most part as long as you have an idea what youre talking about.
Professor Tucker was an okay professor. She knew her material very well and expects you to know it, too. She can be a bit rude and very opinionated considering that the course is political science. While she knew her material very well, she was not the best people person and could be rude even when a simple question is asked.
So even tho I hate politics I really liked Ms Tuckers class. We had lots of reading but I expected that after checking out the textbook. Also this is college. She broke down the reading, used Kahoot for the quiz and the discussions were cool. Its politics so some classes were heated but she gave all students the same amount of respect. Take her!
I took her online class over the Summer and it definitely was a lot reading. Don't take this class if you don't like to read. One thing I didn't like about her is that she doesn't respond to emails. Another thing is that her power points have information in them that aren't even on the tests.
Im taking Ms Tucker online and I dont see any evidence for the the negative comments. Just took my first set of tests and yes theres a lot to read but you get to do it in your PJs instead of driving to class. She returned emails quickly (except if its in D2L which she tells you not to do). So far I love not having to go to campus for a test!
Miss Tucker has been difficult. I don't feel that she is clear about what what deducts points in her class. She is a very tough grader. I have e-mailed her to get better understanding of the grading process, and got a rude reply. I enjoy the material that is posted but I think she should explain the grading process better.

Professor Tucker is super nice and she makes you feel inspired. She will give out "pop quizzes", but she never ever grades them. HOWEVER, you absolutely should write down the questions and answers so you can study for the tests
This class is not hard, BUT it's not straight forward. She mentions the textbook, however, does not mention the importance of reading it in order to do good on the quizzes. She has power points and as students we think the quizzes will solely rely on the power points but that is not the case. She is very bad with responding to emails as well.
Online structure is tedious, assignments are given M:8am-F:5pm. Cant work ahead. Lots of reading. Quiz/test heavy with many questions from unrelated chapters. Use Quizlet. Tough grader for written responses. Some instructions vague. Was quick to respond to emails though and seemed nice. Presented interesting, current info. Take class seriously.
She is by far the worst when it comes to posting grades. Finals is next week and i barely found out what my grade is in that class. Also she is very sassy. If you are wondering why i took her knowing that her rating was low it is because she was the only professor who is teaching pols. I DO NOT recommend, save yourself.
I will say that this class requires your attention. Professor Tucker is tough but fair. Pay attention to her quizzes and lectures. Those who fail her class deserve to fail! She guides you almost from the beginning of the semester to the end. Shes knows her politics! I definitely recommend taking her class.
LOL! Okay so when I got here to say what I wanted I read this student complain about her ratings are low... NOT TRUE its 4 out of 5. Shes definitely not the only person teaching POLS 1101 (around 10 every semester). My point is some people on here are mad and clearly lie. Shes great! Take her class & find out. She is a tough grader on essays but gives extra credit, and quizzes are open notes. I would recommend her only downside is that she takes long to put in grades.
Professor Tucker is possibly the worst lecturer I have ever had. She read straight from the textbook. However, if you get in and do the work, an A is possible. She has a more Liberal point of view which is hard if you don't. Takes forever to respond to emails, but an A is an A. Also, she reads these reviews and mentions them in class.
Wonderful professor! Took her for Maymester. Class was fast & only the students who never read her syllabus or the textbook failed. All your tests/assignments come from the textbook, so yes morons, she goes over whats in the textbook. Last comment only got an A probably bcuz of her study guides! Awesome teacher with a good sense of humor.
Online classes with her are awful. Her slides don't have everything on the tests or quizzes. She doesn't care about your grades. She puts in zero effort for her online classes. Worst online professor.

Absolutely terrible! I do not know how she has good ratings. She is extremely harsh with grading, gives terrible feedback, has an attitude and no respect towards her students, and if you take this class online she will pay little to no attention to you. Be prepared to teach yourself through the entire class. She also grades based on her opinion.
Great professor! All quizzes and exams come directly from the textbook. Her feedback is great. She either provided correct answers in full or told you where in the textbook you could find it. Shes hard on students who dont do the work & want to pass using her study guides. Absolutely love the fact that she backs all her lectures with FACTS!
Hey, the online student who left bad reviews, I had her class online and shes great! She gave her feedback attached to my grades. All the answers were directly from the book. She even posted a link to a zoom for extra credit. You ever think maybe youre the one not cut out for online classes. Dont believe the lie. As Dad of two I got through it!
Yassss! I got an A in this class! With exams set up 3 chapters at a time, extra credit and open note quizzes this class was great! Ms.T you the real MVP! Wish you taught more than just American Government.
Replies somewhat early. The first class since I started college that I got a b. If you take her be ready to do a lot of reading on your own. Its also quite hard to get an A in her tests
Well, her lectures are absolutely useless since the tests comes from the textbook. She tries to find ways to deduct points from your constructed responses. She takes forever to put in grades and respond to emails. PPL putting Clear Grading criteria are lying because she doesnt have a rubric. Her extra credit isnt much help. Avoid if possible
Her class is actually a joke, so avoid this class at all cost. Her lectures have nothing to do with the topic at hand, she rather lecture about her daughters, her mother, and her firearms. She dresses very inappropriately, she dresses are very tight and very see through and not for school. Her test are not clear and are based on her opinions
Absolutely take this class! She makes it simple to pass if you study her study guides & take the extra credit. Great teacher who works with you if youre missing assignments. Good sense of humor when it comes to her family & politics. Exams are online & come from the textbook and her lectures but you definitely need her study guides to pass.
If you need credit for this class, do not choose this teacher! She's one of the hardest teachers I've taken ever.
Do not take her class if you want to pass. She doesn't give clear instructions about the material you will be tested on and she is very rude if you ask her any simple questions. She doesn't do any makeup work even if you have a legitimate excuse and definitely no extra credit opertunities.
Took this teacher & reading the last review Im amazed at the lies about her class.. When you login to her class the first week we had extra credit for a syllabus quiz. I was way behind & once I told her why she let me do makeup assignments. If youre truthful she works to get you back on track. I was at an F and finished with a B. Take her class
She is tough!!! But a good instructor. Accepts extra credit, and makeup assignments during emergency situations if you just COMMUNICATE with her about it. She definitely will make you work for your grade, but she is fair!
After taking her exam, I noticed every test and quiz would not load. I told Prof Tucker, who told me to contact IT. After contacting IT, they told me the teacher was in charge of making the tests/quizzes fit the computers. I did not have a MacBook and she knew this. Luckily, my computer takes screenshots and I sent them to her. She never responded.
This class was ABSOLUTELY horrible. We have to make our way up to 700 points in the class which is nearly impossible considering the lecturers have nothing to do with her test or study guide. I had to withdraw from her class before it was to late because i was sitting with a 112/700 which is an F.. HORRIBLE CLASS
LOL! If you had 112/700 halfway thru a semester it stands to reason youve only gotten thru half the assignments so your grade isnt out of 700 but out of what youve taken idiot! I took Miss Tucker last semester & she explained this to us. Everything on the study guide was on the exam. Great teacher if u ask questions. Lets u retake lowest exam.
HARDEST class I've took. barely passed with a D and Im upset I didn't drop it. Exams are 50 questions and lockdown browser is used. Her PowerPoints don't give all the materials that are on the test. A good thing was that she let us retake an exam with our lowest grade.
I recently transferred from a horrible professor into Miss Tuckers class. She clearly cares about her students. Some of the reviews have definitely lied about her. Im glad I chose her anyway!Shes straight forward, doesnt baby her students but is there to help every step of the way. Oh and she has a Masters degree. Its listed on her syllabus.
We r a week from final exam, discussions/written quiz answers= not graded. First quiz answers&discussions r from 3/12&3/14...it is currently 6/24. There isn't homewrk to help retain reading, PwerPnts=mostly copy/paste from textbook. 23 students in class, av. grade=47% 9/23=0-60%, 9/23=60.1-75%, 3/23=75.1-80%, 2/23= 80.1-85%
This professor is the worst when it comes to responding back. The professor would also give you 50+ question on Exams with webcam on and 60 mins to do it. No time to think and no time to process whatever you read. There is no extra credits, and you can not turn in any assignments once it is past due. Also, if the professor does not teach anything.
I dont recommend taking online class with this class. She provides powerpoints that have no context which is hard to study and understand and it seems like she dont want students to succeed because she only gives out study guides in access to a certain amount of time then its gone and in those study guides most of the materials are not in the pp.
I have taken over 100 credit hours (I have changed my major a lot of times; sore subject), but this professor is undoubtedly the worse professor I have ever had. It says something when the class average is in the 40's. Do yourself a favor and RUN.
Study guides for tests are very inaccurate (way under detailed). No lectures in any form. All online timelines are wrong, confusing, and she updates the syllabus during the course. No opportunity for a re-test, neither did she drop a low test grade. I had a 4.0 from 3 years of online classes before her. I am very aware of usual expectations.
I don't even really know what to say to describe the awful experience that I had in this course. Please avoid taking this professor at all costs. It truly seems like it is her GOAL to make her students fail. Class average was 55% for 29 students. There is no way that all 29 of us were failing.
I took professor Tucker this past Spring and made an A in her class. She helped me get into the Honors Program (yay!) and guided me through her class. There is lots of reading, but she gives study guides so you know what to focus on. You get a chance at extra credit the first week of class and you can retake one failed exam. Love this instructor!
I asked what would quiz one be reviewing She then responded later in the week that we are reviewing Chpt 1 The quiz opened up before she even finished sending us more material for the quiz (it was actually over Chpts 1-3) She gave us a study guide with barely any context and you literally have to know where the presidents went to Uni Don't take her
This teacher has had the dates for the assignments up on the syllabus since the beginning of the semester, so stop lying! If you cant find it just ask. She also does weekly assignments and puts the dates on there as well. Cool teacher and will work with you if you ask for help.
This was my first class taken as a freshman and this class has ruined my perception of college. I have emailed Tucker many times, telling her that I'm struggling and I need help to basically just be ignored. There are no lectures. PowerPoints and study guides are inaccurate. Exams are overall confusing, inaccurate, and poorly written.
Took Miss Tucker twice! First time fail was my fault but she is great! She gives a detailed syllabus, study guides, weekly announcements so you know what assignments are due & gives you all week to complete. Her course outline lets me know what is coming even when I miss class. She is not hard at all & isn't tough on attendance. Great teacher!!!
So I am currently in Professor Tucker's class & I JUST GOT A JOB IN POLITICS!!! OMG! She helped me with my resume' and gave me advice on the in-person interview. I cannot believe that her lectures & what she talks about in her lectures helped me land a job! Thanks professor...couldn't have done it without your help! TAKE HER CLASS!!
Don't take. I took her class online and 0/10 recommend. First of all, she opens assignments Mon-Fri.....I believe I speak for many students when I say that I take online courses b/c I WORK ALL WEEK. I can't come home from work and complete a 100 question exam with the stress of the day on my brain. She uses respondus browser video & audio FYI :-)
I am in Miss Tucker's online class and the last reviewer DOES NOT SPEAK FOR ME! You should drop out of college & keep the full time job! This has been on her syllabus since August: All exams are administered online in D2L using Respondus Lockdown Browser. These are proctored exams via visual and audio recordings. You can also retake one exam.
Don't want to be harsh, but all I've learned is self-taught. She has provided one study-guide, power points, and notes. Has put incorrect answers on quizzes, and has tested over content from a chapter that wasn't supposed to be covered. Doesn't cover test material, provides opportunity for 5 extra credit points with a total possible 700 points
I take Miss Tucker in person and her lectures are great. She posts study guides, Kahoots, and gives pop quizzes that are based on the tests. I could not have been doing so well without her study guides. If it's on the study guide then its definitely on the exam. She lets you retake your lowest exam grade which helps. Great professor!
No other American Government class that I've heard of uses lockdown browser for 100 question exams like this class does. Absurd, considering this has nothing to do with my major. Get ready to read a whole lot of the textbook because all work is from the book. Most questions for quizzes and exams come from the book, but the study guides aren't great
If you actually want to learn in the class, don't take it this class. She does not teach, she reads off the board and I'd be okay with that if her test weren't 100 questions with lockdown browser. Study guides, no help at all. Attendance is mandatory or else you cant take exams. Maybe 3 HW assignments. Super unprofessional towards students/time.
If you want to pass American Government take professor Tucker. Study guides are the only reason I passed with an A. Assignments are posted with enough time to complete. She provides videos, Kahoots, and lectures that basically looks like the exam. Seriously the only way you can fail is being lazy or stupid! Luv this professor!!

Took my final exam & made a B thanks to professor Tuckers study guides, and allowing the class to retake their lowest exam grade. A huge help! Keep to her deadlines to turn in your work & her class is a breeze. I'm shocked by the previous review since I know it's a lie. Chile..this person even posted a threat against her if she saw her in person.
Unfortunately, despite passing her class, her life missions seems to be to make her students fail. At least online, she is pretty rude and doesnt care about what she teaches. study guides are helpful and go with the exams. But she is difficult to work with and you should run.
I finished the final exam/passed! but had to jump on here to just say, she is not a good instructor. I passed on my own. Simply put, she doesnt care. I wish I had the same experience as those who left positive reviews. not the case unfortunately. I couldn't get a response to emails with questions. she's just harsh and mean. Would never take again
Seen my final grade I did better than I thought. Easy class if you get your weekly assignments done. With this grade I can get my financial aid back! Cool teacher, but expects you to do the work. RMP took the threat that was made against Miss Tucker down but I screenshot it & sent it to the school. Hope they find the student that posted it.
I don't have anything negative to say about Professor Tucker. Her class was not "easy" but that is college for you. You are expected to do the work but it is not impossible to pass as long as you are keeping up with the assignments and reading the textbooks/studying. She was kind and helpful when I emailed her. DO THE WORK AND YOU WILL PASS.
Teacher literally told me she didn't answer questions when I emailed; referred me back to text when I said I couldn't find something in it. Study guide for each exam was helpful. Posted videos (helpful) were only available for a short time & not available again prior to test. Her PP didn't match our textbook. This was extent of her "teaching".
Professor Tucker makes it clear: as adults in college we should keep up with assignments, turn them in on time (quizzes are open note so easy A) & download her study guides. Her syllabus tells you that info is posted weekly, so not sure what the last reviewer is talking about. She's cool but won't put up with BS. Study for the exams. An easy A!
She gave a study guide for each exam that covered the entire test. She allowed you to retake your lowest exam. Her lectures contained real life examples and stories that kept me engaged and made me laugh. We also watched lots of movie clips.
Rude. When asked questions that may not have seemed clear to me she responded very rude, smart, and unprofessional. She carries an attitude within her emails which makes me want to never recommend her to any students. do not take her class
I found Professor Tucker firm but fair. You do the work, she'll give you the grade you earned. She has her grading scale on the syllabus & for extra credit you can retake your lowest exam grade. Don't lie to her about missing assignments cuz she will ask for documents. Overall a pretty cool teacher! And I'm making an A so far!
So just got done taking her class this Summer & ya gotta love this professor. Midway I stopped coming to class & she reached out to see if she could get me back on track. Her encouragement meant everything. She worked with me on the research paper and reopened a few quizzes once I explained my situation. Study guides are clutch! Great teacher!
Finished Exam 1 and I know I couldn't have made a A without Professor Tucker's lectures, Kahoots, & study guide review! She makes her lessons very realistic so it's fun & time in class goes quickly. A lot of chapters to cover so it's lecture heavy. If you're not serious about your grade, this class isn't for you. Great teacher!!!
A lot of people had really rough things to say about her. I have taken her class this semester, and am really impressed. This has been my first college class, and I was overwhelmed and worried after reading the bad reviews. It left a bad presupposition in my mind. Very quick to respond and helpful on emails. Class is hard, professor helps.
Talks a lot about personal life and doesn't instruct anything in class that will genuinely help you. The study guides were like half way useful when it came to the 100 question exams. If you are not writing almost an essay for discussion post she will fail you.
If it weren't for Professor Tucker's study guides, open note quizzes & extra credit, I would be failing this class. She invited the class to meet chiefs of police & I actually got a job interview!! She's cool to let u redo missed assignments, but don't BS her! She relates real-life to what she teaches so we get it! This professor's the real deal!!
I am an older, non-traditional student & mid-semester I told Ms. Tucker I was dropping out due to family issues. She sat me down & told me not to give up. I've never had someone in my corner, encouraging me, not even my own family. Because she believed I could do it, I ended the semester with a B. She may be tough, but she's always in your corner!
Very fast teacher
This professor is extremely difficult with grading assignments, and always finds something to complain about with the discussion posts. Talks about her personal life way too much and told the class a student wrote a bad review about her and she ordered the I.T. department to find their IP address to punish them. Save yourself the stress please!
Professor is very knowledgeable and willing to assist students. Study guides are provided but not all answers are within them. Some answers are directly from textbook. If you read a chapter a week and make flash cards from the study guides you should be fine.
Stop capping! I was in class when a student asked if she allowed students to retake an exam bcuz it said it on RMP& she said don't believe everything on there. She said students will write the worst things about professors on RMP but won't ask or email all semester & then expect an A! She was a good teacher to me. Take her class!

As someone with more than 2 brain cells I found Professor Tucker to be fair. With 14 chapters & 5 sections per chapter & only 3 exams there will be lots of questions. If you are not prepared for college go back to high school & quit complaining!! She responded to all of my emails and I would take her again! Video links & study guides were great!
Horrible communication, never replies to emails, Syllabus and class assignment directions are unclear. Slow to grade. All assignment weren't graded untill two weeks AFTER the final exam. Had no idea where I was in the class. Overall: slow, frustrating, and time consuming. DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS.
Fast paced 8 week course. Professor Tucker was cool on late assignments, as long as you reached out to her. Tests were easy with a study guide made to the test. Tests were online & self graded once you submitted it. Class was easy& I would absolutely take her again!!
Didn't teach anything herself, utilized online resources. Used a lockdown browser, which made the timed test seem more stressful. Feedback on assignments weren't great, asked opinion and "thought" questions for first assignment (assumed to gather base level of knowledge) but did not give feedback accordingly, it was clearly not meant as asked.
I'm a single parent working 2 jobs taking Professor Tuckers class this Summer. Classes are online so all the tests are proctored online, the assignments are online - its an online class!! Assignments were open the first day of class. I worked at my own pace. She gives feedback directly after the deadline. Last review STOP LYING on this professor!
She has very few assignments in the class and they are very easy to miss, and just doesn't let you make them up. She waited until the end of the semester to give me a zero for using material for help on the lockdown browser exam, when she literally teaches you nothing and the material is hard to understand.
Took my final & made a B...Yay! Miss Tucker posts everything at the beginning of the semester so u can work at your own pace. Material is posted weekly & she lets us take the lowest exam over. Easy class. Great professor! And for the last reviewer, you are not allowed to use "material" for help on the exam. THATS CALLED CHEATING!
Lol! I was forwarded a screenshot of a student saying they cheated on the POLS 1101 exam! Dude, Professor Tucker literally says u will get an automatic zero for cheating on the test. Just use the study guide. Everything on there is on the exam. No wonder you're complaining. To everyone else who doesn't cheat, she has open note quizzes. Easy class!
Hard to communicate with, extremely tough grader, tests are 100 questions and not open note
So I was failing professor Tucker's class, but she allows students to retake the lowest exam grade. My grade was a 42 out of 100, but on the retake I made an 82! Her exams you have to study for, but everything else is open note. Guess the last reviewer can't read. She put it on the syllabus.
You will have proctored exams, so prepare yourself. The exams are difficult. I would recommend avoiding an 8-week course with this professor, as it will likely be challenging. The syllabus is easy to read and follow. The textbook is easily accessible.
The way she teaches just makes you want to learn more. She has this way of grabbing your attention, and the passion she shows when talking about history makes certain things really stick with you. You can tell she loves what she's teaching, and it makes you want to care about it too.
I would say a little above average class. A lot of reading, but as long as you do a bit of the reading and do the study guide, you should be able to pass the exams. Everything you need to do in the week for the class will be up on her home page. Not doing the things to prepare u for exams will make u fail the class. Do not cheat on exams as well.
i love mrs tucker! she was very sweet. but you absolutely need to lock in on her class.
