She just started at Mesa this year. While the class is as difficult as any math class would be, she is very nice and cares about whether students are doing well or falling behind and is willing to help students. I think she is a great math teacher.

She is an awesome teacher! If she thinks she might be losing your interest she'll skip around the class a little to make you laugh. She explains everything throughly and is extremely helpful. If you're bad at math or just need a little extra help she's the teacher for you. Don't be afraid to ask her questions, she'll actually answer them.

Ms. Kharrati is an excellent math teacher. She is thorough in her instruction, she invites student to go to the board to solve problems (visually stimulating) and will assist students if they are struggling. She REALLY cares that her students understand math operations. She is animated and makes learning math FUN. I highly recommend her class.

Great instructor, she has a degree in education and a love for what she teaches. I suck at math and she made it possible for me to pass. If you really want to make it through a required math class and are willing to work, she is the instructor to take.

I've tried to take math many times, and just didn't get it. She taught in such a plain-english manner that I not only understood, but I received a very high grade. I highly recommend this class for those who suck at math (like me :)

She's a great teacher her class is not easy or hard but well paced what helped me alot was that she had her students do problems on the board that help stimulate the mind and her pre test were exetemly helpful great pick

My Goodness! I wish every teacher was as enthusiastic as Prof. Kharrati. She really wants you to get it. She will work with you til you get it. She has you go to the board and do problems, it is really helpful, and she gives xtra credit for it. I wish I could take her for every math class.

Can be a little redundant sometimes, but you'll be thankful for the extended explanations when you reach a subject you have a hard time with. She's a complete sweetheart and loves to help students understand the subject matter. She's also a very beautiful woman, so 3 hours in her class really go by quickly. ;)

I def. recommend her if your taking a Math class at Mesa. I had to work extremely hard in the class but with all the extra credit she gives that assist you on the test, there is no reason why anyone shouldnt get an A in her class. Sit in the front, volunteer, do assignment, and ask questions. Follow these simple rules, your guaranteed an "A"!!

The best math teacher ever! Explains clearly, if you dont understand raise your hand and she will explain it more easily to your level. Homework is easy tests are easy, just study for an hour or so of the homework and your guaranteed to pass.

But you should take her class. she gives everyone a chance to get an A. lots of extra credit, also if you get all A's on the first 4 tests, you dont have to take the final. She gives out pretests which are the tests but with different numbers and you do that in class then take the test next day. love her

Give pretests that are basically exactly like the test. Numbers are just swap around on the test. Lots of extra credit. BEST PROFESSOR ever. Everything was crystal clear. I wish she taught higher mathematics. I took her for math 35 and 95, which is now 38 and 46.

I'm currently taking her class this semester. I've always been dreadful in math but I have to say that she has been the best math I've had so far. I'm not saying its easy for me but I'm learning and she's helping me tons. If you need extra help she's there for you during her office hours and has no problem taking the time to explain things.

I had previously failed Math96 three times, and I just took it for pass or no pass with the hope of just getting through it. Prof K..is amazing! What a wonderful person and awesome Professor that makes learning math easy! She gives a lot of opportunities to succeed and tries hard to help the underdog. She gives a lot of extra credit to help your grade. Make sure you don't miss a class though....drops you after 3 classes missed. I loved her and would recommend her.

Best math teacher I have ever had! She loves helping her students succeed in math. She is always willing to stay after class if you need extra help. I didnt buy the book (though some students found it helpful) just used MathXL. If you get A's on 4 tests=no final, gives A LOT of extra credit.

Ms K is a really nice teacher. She really wants her students to succeed and before every class she's always waiting to help people understand math better. She uses Math XL for HW which can get pretty annoying but it does help you understand math better. Also if you got 4 A's on the first 4 tests you didn't have to take the final or the last ch test

The first time I took Math 96, I failed and I took the class with Kharrati and passed with a A! The best math teacher at Mesa! She is very helpful and her sample test are just like the test she just only changes the numbers. Also, if you pass the first 4 test with A's, you don't have to take the final. So just pay attention and you will forsure pass!

She gives out pretest so that helps a lot. You need an access code for homework. Do the homework study ask for help and you will pass the class. She is a really good professor better then some of the others professors here at mesa. Their is five test and a final.

She is an excellent teacher. She will repeat herself if you don't understand no matter what. She gets actually mad (funny) if you dont ask questions! Test are easy if you pay attention and study the pre-test. DO THE HOMEWORK ONLINE. If you don't your grade will drop by two letters. Drops the lowest test grade. Lots of extra credit. Long, but fun.

I thought Mrs. K was great. It's true that sometimes her pre-tests were not exactly like her tests but they were close enough. She didn't have office hours that I could go to but every time I emailed her she got back to me. Very helpful over all. Not hot though. Sorry Mrs. K. :-)

I took Math 92 with Mrs. Kharrati and I absolutely love her class. I have never been good at Math and this is something I really struggle with. Not only do I feel I am better at math than I ever thought, but I am not afraid of taking higher levels in the subject. She knows how to explain things in a way people will understand. She's very sweet & is always happy to help, if you ask. I took her trig class after a 6 year break from school, but she explains things thoroughly. She has study groups before exams that help A LOT. Her pre-tests are pretty close to the actual test. She usually pulls exams questions from the homework. If you do the homework and study you will pass.

Very sweet and lenient professor. She doesn't really follow the syllabus because lectures are so heavy that it might up 2-3 classes to finish a chapter. Everything goes with the flow. She extends the homework if she thinks that students need more time. A lot of extra credit opportunities. No quizzes, just exams.

She has a very motherly personality. She prepares you for exams and gives A LOT of extra credit. So if you fail, then something is just wrong with you.

Well, i love Mrs. Kharrati. I wish she taught calculus and yes i would take her again. And yes she texted too much but I didnt mind it. This is the first time i am getting an A in a math class.

I thought this class was pretty straightforward thanks to her syllabus. You really have to study for the exams in order to pass them. I recommend doing the hw and making study group sessions with classmates.

She is a bit of an odd professor but she is very caring for her students. If you take the time to build a relationship with her, she will do what she can to help you succeed. She can ramble a bit on her lectures which will confuse some people more than help, but overall she is a nice person and makes stats not too hard.

When I took professor Kharrati, her schedule was back to back classes, and it took a toll for sure, though she never gave up on any of her students and took the time to care for each student's needs. She has a sweet demeanor and only wants to see her students succeed. Material was understandable but does take time to learn. Don't skimp out.

I wish GK could teach every one of my math classes. She explains all concepts and allows notes on tests. I was worried stats would be a tough class but with her class layout there is very little homework and tests are easy A's.

Professor Kharrait is a very sweet professor. The exams aren't to hard, allows you to bring a page of notes. While she was mostly great, I feel like she was a bit slow at times and comes up with last minute lesson plans or projects that can be disorganized.

I took Prof Kharrati's class and I love her! I went from struggling with math to getting an A! Her Tuesday Zoom meetings are super helpful for HW and exams. I attended most of em and ended up with a 98%. Videos lectures are a bit long, but have all the answers (1.5x speed helps). If you stay on top of the videos and attend Zooms, you'll do great.

Prof Kharrati is amazing! She's so passionate and actually cares about her students. There's a lot of work, but she gives you plenty of time to get it done. If you show up to the weekly meetups, you'll be set. I've always struggled with math and still passed because she's so supportive. If you want a teacher who wants you to succeed, take her!
