I thought math regardless of the level would be my toughest subject. Yet, somehow Gita had some quirky ways to remember what to do first as is the case in math. She is very fair, and most importantly she wants everyone to succeed. Go to the tutoring sessions & pass leader sessions and you will learn all you need for the quizzes and exams.

Take this professor, she's changes the way you think about Math. I went from a D to an A after I took her class last semester. She is a natural and if you struggle with math, she'll make it enjoyable and fun. Imagine that! She gives extra credit and class participation is a must but she gives you credit. Please take her if you hate math, I promise!

Didn't know how I would do in Trigonometry, but Prof. Alemansour made it a breeze. She was very nice, funny, and engaging. Very few boring moments in this class. Unlike other math teachers I've had, she rarely lost pace explaining a problem. We only used the textbook for quiz/test practice, but an access code to MyMathLab was required.

For someone that hated math her whole life and my father was a math major, so for her to change my mind on math, was incredible. This class was really easy to follow, she made it a lot simple for the ones that have NO clue. She was always very friendly and was always there to help

Did the Summer Intersession of College Algebra (Math G115). Needless to say, the quick pace of the simester was tough but the Gita went over all the content in class. The test questions were easier than the homework. If you know 75% of the homework and you will pass with an A.

I loved her. Great Professor. It was a very easy class, I probably would've gotten an A but, my quiz grade was pretty low. I got an 87 in the class, and she didn't round it but it's okay. We had quizzes every week, and she usually drops 2-3 quizzes depending on the class. We had a group project at the end of the year, and it was super easy.

Gita is one of the best professors I've ever had. I failed Math 10 twice before and got a 96% in her class at the end of the semester. She notices effort made and it's really apparent how much she cares about your understanding the material and not just passing the class. Really sweet and easy to talk to. Taking her again!

One of the best professors at Goldenwest in general. Extremely caring and funny, gives you credit for trying. If you visit her office hours and talk to her after class she'll keep that in mind when she's grading. It's very apparent she wants her student to understand the material and pass the class. Professor Alemansour is such a sweet woman. You can tell she genuinely cares about each student and will work with you to help you pass. Try not to miss class too often because attendance gives you more points and each class is filled with vital information for the quizzes and tests. One individual/group project but was very easy and simple.

Professor Alemansour is one of the most remarkable and enjoyable professors on campus. Her enthusiasm for teaching shows clearly through her lectures, and makes it very easy to ask questions. I will absolutely take her again if given the chance.

I have never received an A in a math class until I took Gita. The homework on Aleks is demanding but not difficult to get a 100% on (if you do 90% of the topics, you get an automatic 100% on your hw). Weekly quizzes (3 tries to get a 100), few exams, group project and a final. She will give you points for just trying. Taking again for Math 030.

Professor Gita was one of the best math teachers i've had here at GWC. Easy work and passable class.

Great teacher, very nice and caring. 4 Exams including a Final, make sure to do well on those. Ask for help if needed! Homework is only 10% of your grade so you HAVE to do good on the quizzes and exams. Taking again for BUS CALC in the fall.

Im so incredibly thankful for professors like Gita! Hands down the best math professor I have ever had. She teaches difficult concepts in an easy to learn and concise manner. Prof. Alemansour gave me hope in math. She is so caring and goes the extra mile for all of her students. Gita is a good professor! I really feel inspired by her lecture. However, quizzes and exams are kind of hard if you dont concentrate in class. Be prepared for the quizzes because they might be hard. But its pretty easy to get A.

I am taking her summer live online classes at the moment. She is really caring. If you actually care about your grade, attend to her classes and ask questions. Honestly her live online classes are so much better and it gives those shy people to ask questions like me. She does reviews for midterms and finals. No study guides!

Professor A is such an amazing teacher. She genuinely cares about her students and makes sure that every single one of her students understand the material. Switching to the online format has been difficult for a lot of students, but she makes it enjoyable. I would recommend her to anyone.

Professor Gita made what is arguably the hardest math course available in community college much more digestible and understandable. Her quizzes and tests are the most fair I have ever seen and, if you pace yourself correctly, the homework is a breeze. Her lectures are extremely well organized and she always answers student questions with passion.

I'm currently taking Professor Gita's online class right now and I cannot express just how much I appreciate her and her passion for teaching!! She ACTUALLY teaches and CARES about you and whether or not you understand. I usually never have favorites, but she's probably the best, most organized, and most wonderful teacher I've had and will have.

Gita is the best professor I've ever had. I nearly failed high school calculus but the way she teaches makes it so easy to understand. She has 3 tests (final is cumulative). She has many quizzes but as long as you do your homework and listen during class, it'll be a breeze. Do yourself a favor and take her above anyone else.

Gita really cares about her students. Her business calculus class can be an easy A if you show up, and do the homework. She has reviews for quizzes and tests, they basically cover the exact material that she will be quizzing/testing you on. So kind and wants you to pass.

I took her for Calculus 2 at Golden West College for her online zoom class. She thoroughly explains the math concepts, and never hesitates to answer questions if you are lost. She often recycles quiz questions on exams. Homework is graded on effort/completion, not correctness, and is a good grade boost. She also goes over homework questions.

She really cares about students. Clear schedule, just need to do all of work. I actually ended the class understanding the material. Easy to talk, she really cares about what she does. Never had such a great professor you can tell she really loves what she does. The material looks hard in the beginning but she makes it seem so easy.

She really wants to see her students do well in her classes. She lectures basically the whole class, and will go over any homework questions you might have. She goes over all the tests and quizzes the class after it was taken. She gives a pdf of the textbook, so it's free. Quizzes and exams are from notes or homework, so it wasn't too hard.

Ended the class with a 98. Exams and quizzes are fairly easy as they are mostly based on previous HW or lecture questions. Only hard thing was the HW, there is a good amount of it so complete it sooner rather than later. Miles better than Hoang or Craig imo.

Amazing class, amazing professor. To succeed, doing homework and notes are a MUST because quizzes and tests usually recycle questions heavily. Online attendance is mandatory but no camera is required, except on exam days. Homework is graded in completion/effort through packets, however, do NOT procrastinate on homework as it can pile up quickly!

Gita is awesome. There is a good amount of HW but it is doable. Most of her exams are built on previous quizzes/lectures/HW, so study them and you will do fine. Also, she checks attendance and participation at the end through some zoom stat checker so make sure to participate because it is a grade at the end. Shes miles better than antony or stone.

She did really helpful quiz reviews right before the quiz. Homework is reasonable. She can answer homework questions in class or in office hours. She made the class fun and gave group quizzes sometimes.

This is the BEST PROFESSOR I ever had. I have never received an A in any math class. And I completed her course with an A and did well the entire semester. She made the class fun and had some group quizzes that I was very thankful for. She explains math in such a clear way and helps you to really understand it.

I took Professor Gita for MATHG180 (Calc I), and I don't regret it. I do not consider myself a math person, but I was able to get an A in this course by attending the lectures and studying with a couple of classmates outside of class. Her quizzes and exams are doable under the given time frame, and some are group quizzes.

Golden ticket material class right here! For online/ in-person format calc 1 up to calc 2. No matter what you do the chance of you failing this class is impossible unless you don't study. If you taken calc either in hs or college before this course be a breeze; a beginner-friendly class professor goes step by step so no excuse for you failing!

took gita for calc 1&2, she is the best!! the tests were easy because she reused old questions from the quiz or some of them are similar to the study guide. i recommend doing the hw when it's assigned so u don't fall behind/procrastinate. she also goes over the hw questions if u have any!

She explains the concepts so well that everything sounds so easy. She will go through harder exercises to be prepared for the test. We do some group quizzes and reviews for the tests that prepare you for the test. Homework will be graded, but she goes over all the questions people ask for help. She is one of the best professor I have known

Gita is easily one of the greatest lecturers here at GWC. Her lectures are very digestible and engaging. There is a lot of homework, but nothing too difficult and she will help you with your homework during lectures. Quizzes and exams are based on her lectures and homework. If you engage in lecture hours, you will not fail.

Calc 2 was way difficult than calc 1 by a miles (so know your trig and d/dx!). Although the subject is hard indeed professor Gita would break down the homework problem that you ask her solved and condense it to an easier understanding. Taking her in calc 2 is a great choice just passing this class in online/ in-person most likely is challenging GL!

Very good math professor. The study guide is basically the same (a question not covered on the study guide but hw instead) making all the test easy to a get good score on. It is very heavy on the testing so do well. And fyi she doesn't call names for attendance but still marks u down if you ain't there I think. I got a 90/100 for that grade (5%)

Quizzes have a review session the day of the quiz, and tests have a review session the day before. Questions are extremely similar to the ones from the reviews.

Gita knows the frustration of her students when it comes to the subject she teaches. Honestly math is meant to be hard and alot of time is spent on practices problems to understand. I think she has the matrix figured out record lectures and not too difficult exams. I finish all the calc series with her so I know when I say YOU can do the same

I took Calculus I and III with Gita, and she's fantastic! She explains everything clearly, making difficult concepts easy to understand. Her exams, including the final, were easier than expected due to her thorough preparation. Highly recommend her classes! I will miss her class a lot.

Failed Calc 1 and 2, and both times I've retaken with Gita. She explains concepts well and is very nice. Homework is not too much either. Like most math classes, exams are most of your grade, so study well, don't slack off and an A is very achievable

I took this class online for winter intersession, was SUPER easy. The homework is super light, it's a few pages from the textbook (pdf provided) and the exam was basically take home. She gives the questions in the morning and you have to write it out and show work, take a picture and submit it by the end of the day--NOT lockdown. LOVE GITA

She also made Calculus such a fun and enjoyable subject by breaking down conceptual knowledge into easy to understand form. Wow! Just Wow! Gita's No.1 professor. She's so good at teaching the lecture and answering the homework questions. She always records the lecture in class so I can rewatch what I don't get. Her quizzes and exams are so easy. For the quizzes you can do w your friends & check answers in any place. I'm so lucky to have her & can't wait taking calc 2.

She doesn't try to be tricky during exams but will mark you off on small things like labeling axis or not showing enough work. Homework load isn't too bad until the final packet. She posts lecture recordings and notes. No extra credit. Be on top of your work and it's a breeze.

She is more than a professor, but an educator. Being extremely hardworking. She works overtime to answer HW questions if needed, and records every single lecture so you can rewatch if you miss anything. Trust me. You will never see such a tremendously responsible and caring professor throughout your life.

She's supposed to be Math Doctor. She records the lecture and spends time going over the HW q's really hard that you ask her to solve. She sometimes tells u the funny stories. She gives u some formulas and handouts on the exams so you won't have to memorize. Take it and you won't regret! FYI, u need to attend as she will mark u off for being absent

There is a REASON why this professor almost always has a full class! I was never good at math, but Gita changed that! Her lectures are clear and her teaching skills are superb. She is always there to help, is patient, and the quizzes and exams are more than fair. Homework load is also fair. Put in the work and you'll get an A!

The online course was laid out so smooth and easy to follow. Calculus is difficult, but Professor Almansour made it very digestible. I would highly recommend her classes.

Prof Gita is an amazing lecturer, her lectures are concise and she gives good tips to solve problems. Calculus 2 is challenging but she prepares students well for the exam by going through sample problems for lectures before the exams. She's really kind and caring and will help you out during office hours. Exams are 50% of the grade.

I failed calc 1 my first semester but taking it with Gita changed my whole perspective on math. I hate math but she made it for someone like me to understand. whatever you do, make sure to take it with her. grades homework nicely, exams just like lecture problems, go to the embedded tutor. got an A just listening to her do example problems.

Very comprehensive teacher, she is very caring, knowledgeable, and sometimes very funny! Make sure to be on top of homework assignments; it seems very easy to procrastinate on it, but when homework packets are due, you do not want to be sitting there rushing through all the homework before the test with no idea what you're writing.

Gita is the best! After dropping Calc 1 the previous semester(w another prof), I was very nervous to be taking the class again, but Gita made it way less intimidating & she's so nice! She takes her time introducing each concept & the quizzes/tests are so similar to example problems she gives in lecture. The PASS sessions were also a lifesaver!

Lectures are easy to understand. Keep up with the homework, there's a lot of it. Quizzes are posted online. Exams taken in person. Do well on them since there are only 3. She gives a lot of partial credit. Very kind and accommodating. I have taken her for Calc 1 & 2 and would love to finish the rest of my math sequence with her.

Gita made CALC 2 so easy to understand. She babies you the whole way through and makes sure everyone understands the material. My class was online and there were 2 exams and 1 cumulative final. Homework packets are lengthy but due by each exam date. Exams are exactly what she does in class (literally) so pay attention in class and you'll be fine.

Calc 1 is generally easy the class was nice; just try to pay attention to lectures and attend the PASS session they will really help you as they practice questions that have similar form of exams questions the best thing you can do is find a friend to do the quizzes with. do the homework on time and you will be good for the exam. good luck!

Coming from G180 to G185, Gita excels in teaching calculus in a practical manner compared to most.
