Great Prof, explains everything well, fun, entertaining, loves Star Trek (?).
Very nice prof, explains very well, very helpful. All prof should learn to him!
Greatest Math Prof ever!! So funny, you'll never fall asleep in his class..
beast
Best prof I have had so far!!! Absolutely amazing teacher and person.
euler! bow> good guy.
OMG! I cannot afford not going to his class! He's too funny
As calc profs go, he pretty much kicks ass
Every class is a star-rated dramatic production :)
Great guy
Where the hell was he last year???
Amazing guy! EULER rules! Knows his stuff, not one of those strict math geeks...
He is so fun, but he teaches too slow.
Best prof and great guy. Makes Math fun.
Tenti is a god, best teacher on campus, makes class fun and cares about learning
"I am not worthy"...*bows down to Tenti*
One of the most enthusiastic profs at UW, but he should do more examples.
Energetic and entertaining!
Math211 is eng, right? Try Applied Math261. He don't teach, just blah blah

Tenti's a great teacher and a great guy! Applied Math people are just slow/lazy

Very fun prof, but makes examples look too easy. Long assignments.

Most entertaining prof ever!
Tenti rules ! Euler rules ! star trek rules! Einstein rules !
the best prof I ever had
BEST PROF U WILL EVER SEE IN UW
Best prof at UW

Beware! The class Avg. for this course was under 70%!!
Do not take this course; it will only increase your suffering.
He can talk, but he's completely USELESS when it comes to exams.
Best prof - bar none
Best. Prof. Ever.
1st man to make calculus not be calcusuffering

Awesome prof!
Goes too slow. Tries to teach fourier transform in one class...
the only way to learn calculus
Had an extremely easy midterm, but then made a hard final to screw us all over
very interesting prof, but also very hard. Assignments take at least 10 hours to finish
still undergoin counselling to reverse the effects of that exam.
Tenti is a p'tarh, and speaks the lies of a tar'kegh. He is a verengan Ha'DIbaH (Ferengi dog) He teaches tu'HomI'raH (useless stuff) I'll give him his doom the Klingon way! Go mate with your targ!
Very good prof.. interesting and clear... he's like the grandfather you wish you had... But he started really slowly and then did 150 pages of the book in two lectures. and I'm still finishing that last assignment!!

The course is hard, but he passes you if you know all your assignments (they are hard too). Fun and enthusiastic, the second best thing than having *BOW* Euler to teach differential equations.
Very Nice Guy, HARD BUT FAIR!!! Way too much emphasis on historic European Mathematicians, were there none in the rest of the world?
Some of those assigment questionss are just plain wrong
Has the unenviable job of teaching arrogant know-it-all engineers mathematics. idolizes gauss and euler. very thorough in class and an great lecturer who holds your attention.
Nice guy. Stupidly long assignments, but good lectures.
The greatest professor EVER!!!
awesome teacher.
a very good prof
The MAN
Really cares and works hard. Side tracks a lot and gives unneeded history lessons. But they are interesting enough. Main thing, really works hard and is very helpful and fair.
Awsome teacher. underestanding and caring. hard worker
amazing prof! knows his stuff, cracks great jokes, knows how to teach, nothing useless, IS NOT boring!! useful examples throughout the material, go Tenti!
great prof
If you go to one lecture all day, make sure it's Tenti's
hate the hw... but his class was interesting....
Best teacher we've got!
He's an interesting prof, but even though you know his assignments inside out, the highest mark you can get is 70%. His exams are brutal.
Simply amazing, quite possibly the smartest person i know. He is by far the greatest prof that waterloo has for math. You can say nothing but Outstanding for him
Perfect!
WOW...I haven't had such an amazing Prof since Gr11...he makes sure that the majority of the class understands before moving on...he's clear and he's EULER-crazed...GO EULERRRR!!!
Excellent Excellent Excellent. Really cares. His TA's were crap but thanks to him, we didn't need to go to tutorials. focused on teaching concepts rather than tricks.
Quite possible the best professor at the University of Waterloo
He's good but he thinks he's fantastic. He'll scrap the textbook and any other material and make up the whole course on his own. If his style works for you, you'll love it. If not, you're S.O.L.
Brutal course, told us we would fail and we knew nothing. He told us 60% would fail and he was right. Why should schools have courses that you have to fail??? IS this a money thing?
Best prof I ever had in UW. Undoubtly, one of my most favourite teachers of all time. He was so enthusiastic and thorough in his teaching that my attention never drifted out of focus for every single lecture(never happens for any other course)
I know this prof named Tenti; He's an Euler cognoscenti; his can be tough any day, but keep pluggin away; And you'll pass with marks aplenty!
He is different from all other profs simply becuz he cares about students. Calculus lecture is the only class I've never skipped but Calculus tutorial is the class I've never gone becuz we don't need TA's. Without him, I would've failed miserably.
great prof as usually, the course is brutal
Tenti's Da Man.
Our Euler-crazed ECE calculus grandpa!
Greatest prof encountered so far. Possibly the last of a dying breed of caring profs. He helps you visualize the most abstract concepts in calculus with such an ease that it seems like kid's stuff. Hope he starts teaching ECE 370 again.
Greatest prof probably still teaching. I love his homemade notes better than any text.
Lots of people say he's good, but lots think otherwise. His ideas and teaching are too abstract. Not a really good type of teacher if you've just got out of high school!!
brutal course. the lectures are just straight off from the provided lecture notes. course appears to be too abstract and uncomprehensible.
Great, great prof. The notes and supplementary materials he provides are just excellent.
Good teacher. Presents concepts in different ways to help different types of learners.
Great prof!!
Truly a great prof - revamped 117/119/211. Our class frustrated him at times, but he always kept his cool. His online lecture notes are awesome and he gives clear and interesting lectures. He really likes helping students. The exam had no surprises. It's a shame he's gonna retire at the end of 2005.
GREAT prof - one of the best the university has to offer. REALLY cares about his students. It would be great if he were a little bit more sensitive to our brains. He gets really excited while giving examples which often goes beyond the students' level of understanding.
let's just say this, if you fall asleep on reading Tenti's online lecture notes, you'll fall asleep on all the notes from every other course. his notes are the best! and it's still a tough course, so thank you for helping me pass!
You want a epitome of the "prof who cares"? Tenti is it. His methods of lecturing cleverly integrates theory with application that instigates interest for engineers while without losing any math rigor at all. If you have a genuine interest towards applied mathematics, his lectures are very pleasant experiences indeed.
Greatest. Prof. Ever.
This was a great teacher, a man who loved his subject and wanted to pass this love on to his students. He knew some math undergrads spent their time wondering if they should have taken engineering instead. He worked hard to remove students' doubts about that.
