Pretty easy class
easy. goes through everything step by step. has awesome reviews before tests. pretty much just make sure you go to the reviews and you'll ace.
Excellent teacher and really takes care of her students. She gives good notes, good reviews and even if you mess up the test she gives you a make up essay, giving you a chance to never fail the class!! AWESOME PERSON!
She's a great teacher. Really easy but you still learn something! She's very friendly and funny and makes her classes interesting!
I enjoyed the class and I learned alot.
awesome lady! she really is a good teacher and makes everything pretty easy. i would recommend her
good teacher and easy to understand
interesting professor; nice lady, makes it difficult not to do well in class!
I enjoy her class very much. She is really good
Great teacher. I reccommend her. If you show up and take notes, you'll be fine.
Very easy! Just take notes and you will do fine. She does reviews before test and sometimes lets you take them home. Hight recommended!!!
Take notes. Review for 30 minutes prior to test. Get an "A" No sweat.
Excellent teacher! Encourages free thought and welcomes all opinions. Great teacher to have!
I'm taking the telecourse... and it is a piece of cake, she let us take home the first test, third test was open notes open book, and then she gave us lots of extra credit we can do!
She is definitely one of my favorite professors at MCC. Very helpful, and really wants everyone to do well in her class. If you don't pass this class, then you shouldn't be in college. She's an awesome lady. :)
BEST TEACHER EVER!!!!!!!! def. recommend her for anything she teaches!!! she was a little difficult but face it YOU ARE IN COLLEGE! i agree with another post if you cant pass this class you should give up now cuz college is NOT for you
This is one of the best teachers I've ever had! If you are thinking about ENC 1101, take this professor! She's awesome!!
very nice lady! makes you takes lots of notes and her tests are quite a struggle but there is no way to fail her class unleou dont show up
Very, very nice! Understanding, unlike alot of teachers on the MCC campus, Proffessor Green really has the students best intrest at heart. She was understanding and fair in all my encounters with her. The class is great! Plus as long as you show up, it's a sure A!
Professor Green is awesome, Ive never had a better psychology teacher. She is compassionate and if she knows that you are trying will work with you. I had a 80% in her class and i had to get a "B" on the final in order to get a "B" in the class. Anyways Igot a low C and she still gave me the B for my overall grade. She makes you want to learn.
Great psychology teacher! Helps when students need it. Rewards students for trying.

freaking awesome teacher... big black lady very down to earth and helpful
She is very nice and has a wonderful personality and actually cares about the student.
Very awesome teacher and the class and very easy and laid back
prof. Green is great. lectures with power point so u can see and hear the notes. her tests can be a bit difficult, but she does occasionally give open book or take home tests to help u out. if u fail a test, she offers extra credit to improve your grade. there really is no way to fail this class unless you're lazy or just plain stupid.
She was very fair and helpful.
She is a great teacher with a good sense of humor. She gives 4 hmwk assignments the entire semester. She gives a lot of take home test. they are muliple choice (she gives extra credit every test) If you dont like that, i would not like taking this class if you dont like taking notes, i would say forget about it. She gives notes every class.
Cool as Hell, didn't get a chance to take her class but she is cool as hell and has a nice personality! A++++
She is an excellent teacher. She cares about her students and she likes to see you succeed and take an interest in the class. Is very fair in grading and goes over everything before you take the test. Show up listen and receive a Good grade.
Extremely organised and easy to work with. I had a class with miss Green during my first semester in mcc and i have a lot of respect for her. She uses lectures, notes and movies to get students to better understand the subject matter. She is also a wonderful, caring person and extremely sweet.
easiest class I ever had. Took the summer telecourse and all our tests were take home and open book. Wonderful kind lady to have the pleasure working with. You will have fun and enjoy this teacher a lot
I dont know if this is the right teacher! lol I took Profrssor green during spring and only three test were open book! But she did give out a lot of extra credit!
MRS GREEN IS AWESOME AND U CANT FAIL HER CLASS SOOO MUCH EXTRA CREDIT IF U DONT DO GOOD ON TESTS THATS COOL!!
She seemed like a really nice person at first, but she kind of has an attitude. Regardless her class was not hard. All tests were open book open notes and you have to write five papers the whole semester that are easy. Definitely not a hard class.
Very boring class. Take notes everyday. Tests are a little on the hard side. i usually got a C. If you get a D or lower on a test you can do extra credit. only one open book test so far.
She is very helpful and eager for you to succeed. Make sure you take good notes and STUDY them! The good thing is that if you get a D or lower she gives you extra credit assignments which is nice.
Extremely Easy. took telecourse like two semester ago and have since transferred, but had like four exams all either open book and first was take-home. Very easy, if u want an easy A, she's your professor. Didn't even have to learn material, went in day of exams and got 92% in class. Only four easy assignments that you can do last minute (like me)!!
VERY NICE AND EASY AS LONG AS YOU COME TO CLASS
Somewhat boring class. She occasionally hands out printouts for her notes, other times you write down notes. Watch some movies, which are old and boring. A couple take home/open notes tests. The other tests are a bit difficult, you at least need to review the chapters summaries and notes to pass, but read through everything if you wanna ace it.
Boring class... lectures are basically pointless. If you never came to class and just sat at home reading the textbook you would get an A+. The notes she gives have hardly any relavency to the tests. She is a nice lady but I dont think she is a very good teacher. I would recommend Kittrel instead
GREAT PROFESSOR....
She was one of the best instructors I ever had at MCC.
Professor Green is a good teacher. Just make sure you read the book for the tests. I never watched one of the videos for the TV/Video class and I got an A.
CLASS IS BORINGGGGGGGG, SHE HAS YOU WATCH SOME STUPID VIDEOS. NOTES ARE PRETTY HELPFUL.YOU MIGHT FIND THE TESTS CONFUSING!! MOST OF THE PEOPLE IN MY CLASS THOUGHT THE SAME! THE GOOD THING IS THAT SHE WILL GIVE YOU EXTRA CREDIT IF YOU HAVE A D OR AN F ON ANYYY TEST..SO AT LEAST THAT WILL HELP YOU TO IMPROVE YOU GRADE WHICH IS NOT BAD
Very nice teacher the class was pretty easy test are mostly open book. I took this class online great professor
We had one open note/book exam and only one take-home exam. The notes I took in class helped only a fraction on the tests. Videos = Useless (Please don't waste your time, I hear Pr. Tomasso is better) Her tests were extremely hard. A really nice lady but not that great of a teacher. If u get stuck with her do ANY/ALL extra credit, you'll need it!
took her for career explorations, and the class was a breeze. very little work to do, no tests except and open book midterm, and the projects we actually do are very helpful and relevant to choosing a career. very relaxed, easy class.
Okay she is a very nice lady but ALL you do it watch videos. It sounds easy but it's soooo boring. Listen to me DONT DO IT!! again shes very nice but cant answer any questions. look up the next professor
I took an online class with Prof Green, the test were all open book/notes,some were take home, there was no final exam, the 5 homework assignments online were posted first day of class(wrote all in one day, to get ahead)she is very nice and responds to emails ASAP. You must take her, she works with everyone and gives + credit and drops lowest grade
Used book for all tests...easy A
You must take this professor! She understands that most people take the class as a gen-ed requirement, so she uses lots of videos to make the class more interesting. Extremely understanding, homework assignments are very very easy, and if you get a D or lower on a test, she'll give you extra credit options to get you up to a C, no matter the grade.
This was a "blended" course so she did not teach anything - we had to read everything and learn on our own. She was very sweet though.
Professor Green is a good teacher. Just make sure you read the book for the tests. If you read text book throughly then you can easily answer her test because she take open book test. I never watched one of the videos for the TV/Video class and I got an A. She also drop the lowest grade so that also help in increase your grade.
helpful
Take her for SLS classes for an easy A, but although I haven't had PSY classes with her, I don't reccomend it. She is not a hands on kind of professor. She is very nice but doesn't stand up to lecture, she just sort of sits next to the computer the whole time. If you are taking PSY classes, I reccomend Kittrell.
Good teacher, very useful assignments to determine a career path. Easy class, do the homework and the project at the end, and you'll get an A.
Professor Green is knowledgable on what she teaches. She also knows how to bring everything to a modern-day perspective to keep the class interested. She gives not through powerpoint, and those are basically whats on the tests. Most tests are open book and open note. Overall, a good teacher if you want to enjoy your psychology class.
Her personality is appealing and provides for a comftorable environment. However, her tests are really tough and she covers none of the material. You'd be better off studying the book at home rather than listening to her babble about nothing. Her lectures and videos DO NOT HELP make your book your best friend as it is the only help you will get.
If you are very self-disciplined and want nothing more but to read then she is an easy A. All tests are strictly out of the book and she doesn't cover it at all. I take good notes and my notes from her class are useless for test. She lets the students steer the class on discussions that are irrelavant to the material. I wish I would taken someone e
Class was easy but when you had take home tests or even tests in the class it was impossible. She only goes off her notes and doesn't really teach the class. i would not recommend...i would recommend tomasso!! she taught our class for a week and she was AWESOME!
worst teacher ever......... DO not take her. Cancels class without notice, her test are impossible. And her notes in class are useless.
AMAZING PROFESSOR!!! She is the SWEETEST teacher you could ever hope to have and she's really into what she's talking about. Anyone who gave her bad marks probably didn't try to pass. All you have to do to study is read the chapters. THAT'S IT! If you can read you can pass. I cannot believe people wrote bad things. I wonder what their grades were.
Very nice lady. BUT all we did in her class were discussion questions and watch movies from the 80's. Was never clear on what was on the tests. Tests were sooo hard you had to read the chapters at least 2-3 times to maybe get an A. We had an 8am class and we would get there and see a note on the door saying class cancelled.
I had Green for Psych and I currently have her for Child Development! She is a very caring teacher and really does care about her students! Her test are time consuming but not hard! I truley think she is one of the most fair teachers at SCF!
I took summer class. If you get 90 or over average, you don't have to take the final exam. Had 5 home assignments to write but they were easy and a good booster to the grade. Tests are mix of textbook based questions and applied questions. Good class.
I feel like we don't ever cover anything that's on the tests, in class. I went into college with the mindset of getting a degree in psychology, but now I don't want to, anymore. The interest level since I've been to class has decreased dramatically. Needs better teaching skills. Wonderful lady, though. Very sweet.
Such a sweet lady! I took her for two classes. The first was a blended Psy course. I only attended class for test. She was very helpful and knowledgeable. The second was a Dep2004 regular class. Class discussions were rarely on subject. She seemed more concerned with current events and students personal lives.
She was definitely one of the nicest teachers I've had while at SCF. If I had any questions throughout the semester she would be very quick to answer my emails. I took her PSY2012 web/blended course. Everything was online except for the texts. She does a great job with describing what she's looking for on the tests and papers. Easy A!
Great Professor!
Very sweet lady. I feel I haven't learned much. Her tests are hard and she deosn't go over much that is on the tests.
Professor Green was an amazing teacher! I plan on taking another course with her. She makes the material extremely easy to understand and makes all her powerpoints (notes) accessible on Angel so even if your absent you can still have all the information. You watch plenty of movies throughout the semester and have take home exams! She is G-R-E-A-T!!
Took the Blended course.Only came to class to take Exams. She tells everyone upfront what her expectations are.As long as you read the book & do the homework, you'll get an A.She let us use the book on most exams. She's very understanding & answers emails very quickly! GREAT TEACHER! I will take her again!
Test every two weeks, more than half were take-home. Don't be fooled! The tests are all 50 multiple choice questions, and HARD. Her lectures don't cover what is on the test at all. The test is on the book. Her lectures are totally pointless. You'll watch a lot of outdated videos in class. She's repetitive and opinionated, but nice. Pretty easy A.
Absolutely amazing teacher! Super helpful and awesome sense of humor. Lots of interesting movies and gives great lectures.Make sure you take notes and pay attention and you can easily get an A. I would recommend her to everyone!
A highly intellectual professor with Lifespan Development. Her open-mindedness of student?s opinions creates a comfortable atmosphere for discussion. Her teaching methods allow students to feel free to express their thoughts. The summer course was incredibly worth it! You couldn?t have a better teacher than Professor Green.
Loved this class, I was not interested in psychology and I ended up changing my major because of this class. She is a wonderful teacher. Her open classes help make it easy for students to join in, almost all of the tests are take home but are critical thinking questions. Very easy A
Mrs. Green is an amazing instructor! Very helpful, very insightful, and always clear with what she expects from her students. Don't talk in class, especially when someone is presenting, and you'll get along just fine! Highly recommend!
One of the great professors at scf. Highly recommend
This was a great class! She is very quick at responding to emails & tells you exactly what she expects from you. If you do the reading you will pass the class. Each test is 100 questions & a couple of tests are take home tests. Very sweet woman!
Great professor. Easy/interesting class.
I had her for lifespan Human development. The course was "blended" where we read the book, had postings on the angel website, had a project, and took a test once a week in person. The book was very interesting and there were two extra credit assignments. She was very funny and cares about the students. You have to be comatose to not get an A.
GREAT TEACHER. 2 TAKE HOME EXAMS.READ MATERIAL YOU GET AN "A" DON'T READ BUT THINK LOGICALLY YOU GET A "C".IF UNAVAIBLE TAKE TAMASSO JUST AS GREAT.
Lazzyness,Lots of YouTube videos, would have preferred more in class discussion in understanding topics. In class notes not helpful with exams.tip do the reading from the books helps with exams/ how exam questions are chosen.vast amount of reading required with no real discussion over chpts.Hope for open book,MWF inclass/ online might be better.
I took her blended class and it was beyond easy. Didn't learn a single thing but glad I got an A! Most tests were open book and she left the class alone everytime.
I have not yet finished Prof. Greens class but wanted students to know before the next quarter that the professor is an awesome instructor.
Hated this class. This class was useless! I got a B in the class and worked my butt off studying but many kids used phones and computers to get answers after the teacher would say it WAS NOT open book. The teacher wouldn't do a thing about it!!! Tests are hard and has nothing to do with what she talks about. All she does is sit behind a desk.
I took the blended class so I did not get personal time with her but she was very good at responding to emails and online discussions. Most of test was take home or open book but they was hard.Make use of her online notes and resources and do the extra credit,it counts!I wanted to take her for DEP but she was booked.I recommend her.
We had many open discussions and some tests were open book. Great teacher and I really enjoyed the class.
I loved this class! If you are looking for an easy A this is the class to take but it requires a lot of reading. Her slide shows and in class lectures are not going to help for the tests, you have to read the chapters yourself in order to get a good grade on them!!!
Very easy class open book on every exam. Very nice teacher!!
I took her 8 week accelerated course. I enjoyed it. There is much reading involved, I suggest using highlighters and taking this course seriously. Her lectures and powerpoints are good but the reading are very essential to passing every test and she will tell you that. Also, most exams were open notes because they can be long.
Awesome professor
She is sooo sweet ! You don't learn a whole lot in the class... It goes by very quickly.. The test are pretty hard.. but if you do all the essay assignments and extra credit , you'll most likely receive an A
I only took this class because of the reviews I have read. I was looking for an easy class expecting this to be it. She has changed this class completely. There are no more open note tests. Each test is 50 questions and all based off of the book. The powerpoint are not helpful. I would not recommend her class. It is a lot of reading.
Professor Green is the best SCF has to offer. This is my 3rd class with her! She knows her stuff, and is always eager to help when needed. Wish she taught more classes for me to take!! Take this wonderful Professor!!
Professor Green teaches a simple General Psych class. Every class period is a lecture, if not a test, but if you write down what is written on the slides (which she actually is kind enough to wait for you to do), and study, you will pass with flying colors. You really have to know your vocabulary, and understand contextual situations.
She's a great teacher. The information is there you just have to review it. The test are easy as long study the slides she post and pay attention in class. 2 different sets of slides. Only 1 is available to study online.
Awesome learned a lot. She doesn't make class boring
Even though I didn't like Psychology as a subject - I loved her class!!! She makes it interesting. Always easy to ask questions in her class! I would highly recommend her class!
This class was beyond easy. Took it as a blended summer class, and we only had class 4 times. Open book open note. As long as you read the material, you'll pass with an A.
Easy A, as long you read and do well on the tests! Gives a lot of extra credit that goes towards your exam grade. Easy class, very nice teacher!
Ms. Green was a great teacher. Good class. Study, do the work and you should be able to pass with A. Show up. do the work and you are good to go!
Love this professor! I cannot say enough good things about this class! Easy A if you show up. Tests are very easy to understand (there weren't many). She is so helpful if you ask; very willing to take time for each student. I took the accelerated 8 week version and I recommend this class to everyone!
Apparently since this semester she stopped giving open note tests. She gave us a couple of them but then sometimes she didn't. Easy A as long as you study and she does give Extra credit and hw is due only twice a semester. She cancels class often but no complaining as this is my 8am class! Would reccomend . Her class isnt hard, just lot of tests
While I may have been able to enjoy the class more had I not taken the condensed course, Professor Green makes it clear from the start that she is there for us and ensures we do well as long as we put forth the effort. Her tests are fairly easy as long as you read beforehand and think critically. Felt I learned a lot by the end.
I took this class as a blended course, and that was my biggest mistake: I didn't learn anything. Don't take online/blended if you don't have self-discipline to read @ home. Exams were in person, and were mostly common knowledge questions. All exams are 100 questions. 1 was take-home and 1 was open book, the others just regular. Barely any HW.
She is a really great person, but in class she shows power points (short ones that don't cover all the information on the test) and videos and that's it. There are a crap ton of tests but she offers a lot of extra credit. The info covered in class is pretty much useless on the tests. Read the book and you'll do fine. A few open book open note tests
Shows up every other class. Is not clear when classes are cancelled. All assignments are open book.
Shows up every other class. Is not clear when classes are cancelled. All assignments are open book. I probably would take again just because it was an easy A, but take another psych class at another school if you want to learn anything at all.
I am three days in and wanting to quit. Do not take this class w/o self discipline.
Green is possibly the nicest faculty member this school has. She knows it's a prerequisite so she makes it easy. Almost every test is open book. You don't need to read the chapters just make sure you do the online questions before you take the test so you know where to look. Took the 8 week course and got a A. Easiest class I've ever had.
I took this course Blended. That's the only reason I say attendance is mandatory. EVERYTHING from the tests are pulled from the book. Each test is 100 questions. Most are open book. Class was cancelled a lot so 3 tests were take home. You need to be very self disciplined to take this course blended. Hw isn't due until last day of class. Tons of EC.
She gives tons of extra credit and is a very easy teacher. A lot of the tests are open book due to the fact she cancels class... Expect only to go to class every other meeting. If you have an A you are exempt from the final. Very nice professor, took her twice. Highly recommended. Talk to her if you have issues and she will work with you.
As long as you try you will get an A. She is very nice and most of the tests are open book however, not all of them are. I got an A on every assignment I turned in and she gives a bunch of extra credit. She's very helpful if you have any questions. She shows a lot of videos and cancels class quite often.
I took the Blended course and it was very easy. As long as you do the discussion when assigned, do the homework and show up for the tests you'll pass. The work in the class is very minimal and some of the tests are open note. Most of the content on the tests are common sense, but reading the summary's at the end of each chapter is helpful.
Professor Green is an amazing teacher! Her lectures are easy to follow and if you do your course work it is guaranteed you will pass. She is flexible with you as long as you have reasons that you need the flexibility. Homework can be turned in early and she includes extra credit as well. Saved me from having to do the final RECOMMEND 100%
Awesome teacher!
Professor Green was a relaxed professor. The lectures consisted of twenty minutes of note-taking, followed by videos for the rest of the class. You MUST read the chapters in the textbook to pass the exams, because majority of the information is not thoroughly discussed during lectures. She cancels class often, most of the time without any warning.
AMAZING. She is so caring towards her students and really understands your situations. She wont mark you off for missing class and offers extra credit assignments. She usually ends class early, and cancels frequently, sometimes without notice, so I would not recommend for the first class of the day. Shows a lot of youtube videos. Favorite professor
I took her for PSY2012 over the fall and about to take her again for DEP 2004 during summer, Shes super easy going, the work is beyond easy as long as you do it. Mostly all of the tests are open book, except a couple. She is very accommodating and there is no reason to get lower than a B having her as a teacher!
Professor Green is very kind, funny and is always willing to help! Just show up, do your reading and you should pass with an A.
One of the best professors in the world
She's always willing to help, all you have to do is ask. I hardly ever came to class because I had an 8am and after a while I got tired of getting up that early lol but I still ended the semester with a "B" so I would say attendance isn't mandatory. But you do need the book because the lectures aren't really helpful.
Very sweet teacher. The material seems like it would be difficult, but she has a way of lecturing that everything makes sense. Easy A if you put effort into it.
I hated this class because we may as well have not shown up. All we did in class was watch filler videos and the homework/tests were all online. And the online program was AWFUL! If you read it and then wanted to reread it, it wouldn't let you open the chapter for 4 days. So if you cram, don't come. You won't be able to study the day before.
Professor Green is an easy-going teacher. She doesn't give a lot of homework. An easy grader, and she is very understanding and caring with her students. The tests are online and the answers come out of the textbook. A very easy class. I absolutely recommend her.
One of the best teachers I have ever had. She made the class very interesting. She made the lectures easy to understand, and the homework assignments she gives are easy as well. She is a super nice lady, explains everything very well, grades fast, and is always there if you need help. Love her
Really good teacher, class lectures were pointless though no one pays attention but sometimes you have to write a page afterward about the topic.
Great teacher to take. Very little work and she always have great feedback if you need help. Shes layback and also wants you to pass. Can not get better than this.
She is super easy, she cares about her students .
Very kind professor that honestly wants her students to do well!
Great professor although I didn't learn much, Easy A and she is such a great person.
I took this class in the summer term and it was simple; if you read the chapters. Great lectures, educational videos and textbook is informational. Open-book quizzes are pretty difficult if you did not read. Opinionated essays are random, but it gives one to express their thoughts and ideas. Homework is opinionated-based and extra credit possible.
One of my very favorite teachers, she is a wonderful person. Took her for Psychology. It is an easy class and an interesting class, she lets you skip the final exam if you have an overall grade of A. Easy class. Even though it is not hard, make sure you go every day so you do not miss any of the in class assignments, that way you can keep your A!!!
Overall she is a good professor. She teaches you exactly whats on the test. She shows a lot of videos on subjects we are learning.
Professor Green is really sweet and helpful. She loves to answer questions and foster discussion in class. Most of the exams are online and they're really not that hard. No homework other than reading the textbook. Usually lets class out early and the videos you watch in class are super interesting!! Love this professor, highly recommend!
She is an amazing teacher. Obviously if you miss days of class you won't learn anything. I used my text book a lot and read through the chapters and got good grades with out even trying hard. Answers are in the textbook for the quiz and finals. Very respectful and easy going teacher. One of the best I ever took. Always willing to help her students.
She is a good person and her teaching is just okay. I had her over the summer also and she's a really easy teacher. The assignments are really easy and she usually ends class early. She responds to emails pretty quickly and isn't confusing. A lot of the times she just shows a video in class and talks about it for 5 minutes and then we leave.
Beyond the best professor Ive had, very understanding and she is willing to work with you as long as you do the same . recommend !
Prof. Green is essentially ornamental. By that I mean she relies entirely on the course text and really contributes nothing to the class herself. Your first exam will inform you to the fact that most of what she utters in lecture, aside from a few bullet points taken from the book, is her opinion. To get an A and save time just read during lecture
I took her for an accelerated class and she was awesome, always kept class interesting, very lenient, definitely take her!!! If you plan on taking her accelerated class it can feel overwhelming, especially trying to juggle everything else going on but definitely worth it once its over!
Dr. Green is nice, but most of her class is spent watching videos unrelated to the text/test and listening to guest speakers which are only slightly related. Her tests are hard because they focus on very specific details such as statistics you might have skimmed in the reading, + she doesn't always grade correctly so check w her if u got smth wrong
Ms Gladys was a great teachers her discussion were always interesting , homework was easy just write about different psychology topics and exams were only 100 questions each off the chapters your read. Excellent teacher highly recommend !
Gladys Green is so caring. I absoultely have a lot of respect for her. She hears what you have to say. She cares for her students. She is very lenient. She allows to make up the assignments, homeworks and even exams (sometimes). She is amazing and very helpful. She can be easily contacted and replies via email fast too. Allows textbooks in exam
I took General Psychology, the 8-week-course. Professional Gladys Green is awesome; she always wants to help us. If you read and take notes from the book, I am sure you will get an A.
Easy A, show up, take notes, do the assignments (which are few) and you will pass. Tests are online and open book. *You are exempt from the final if you have above a 90% in the class!
The class is interesting and the professor is great!
P. Green is nice but the class seems somewhat not what I expected. The required online e-book was not that great so here is my advice: if you have her, make sure you buy the physical printed version of the e-book. Her lectures are kinda small and she shows a video clip or two that takes up a lot of time afterwards. She give extra credit though.
Easy class. Def. a lot of reading but ALL the tests are open books. Even the ones in the classroom are open book. AN EASY A! I absolutely love her. She gives extra credit opportunities as well. If your overall average is above 90 towards the end, YOU ARE exempt from the FINAL exam. HOWWWW LOVELLLLYYYY is that OMG ! lol love it.
Prof. Green is one of the best professors Ive ever had. Attendance isnt really mandatory & if youre late to class, she understands. Textbook is required & you get to use on ALL tests. Theres only a handful of homework. Class is easy. Show up, take notes on lecture, she lets class out early 90% of time. She truly cares for her students.
Very easy class to have an A in. She accepts late work and is okay with being late to class. Her classes are shorter most of the time and just requires you to listen to her lecture. Theres a handful of homework assignments and her tests are open book.
Also took her for DEP2004, Probably one of the nicest teachers at scf.. Highly suggest taking her class! very lenient about late assignments and has easy assignments.
She is very nice and she will be understanding, be prepared to read a lot , test are timed and are 100 question long
Took professor Green fall 2020 and ended with a 98 in the class. If you have above a 90 you're exempt from the final, and there's plenty of opportunity for Extra Credit. Had a lot of assignments weekly and a few big assignments but nothing too difficult. Would highly recommend her class for a Psychology credit. 10/10.
She was very kind and works with you if you have late assignments. I just couldnt really engage in the class because pretty much all we did was watch psychology videos on YouTube. Then, we had 8 tests online, 50 questions long based on book. As long as you turn in assignments, shell likely give you full credit. Lots of papers, but not too hard
I loved Professor Green you can tell she really cares about her students. The lectures were interesting. If you show up every day and read the material you'll walk out with an A. Highly recommend taking her if you need the Psych credit.
I took her online. She was kind and we had a meeting once a month. Had discussions on canvas weekly. And a test after each meeting. Was an easy class as long as you turn everything in.
Prof Greene is the most caring professor I've ever had. She is very open to any and all issues you may be having and reaches out if you are struggling. Class isn't mandatory. She really just shows videos that are the application of the textbook but she only gives written assignment info in class. Tests are directly from the book and online.
You just go to class to watch youtube videos! it is rare when she actually does a lecture, the test is online which is not related at all to these videos that she shows, but specific details of the book. I think this class was a waste of money and the sad part is that I was so excited to take it. If you do not care, take it, if you do, do not!!
I suggest taking this class if you are looking for an A. She cares a lot about her students. When I took the class, class was always getting cancelled the day of. In class we primarily watch youtube videos and she gives an assignment after. All exams are online. She is the nicest professor I have ever had. Just keep in mind your learning style.
I took her psychology class online its a meeting once a month. I had a few family problems during this class and I was behind on homework I emailed her she was very understanding and easy to reach and gave me access to do the homework and my grades improved a lot! I would recommend Professor Green shes an amazing teacher and very kind.
if I could give negative stars I would. the in person lectures are hank green YouTube videos and ted talks that have nothing to do with what we are tested on every two weeks and if you miss a class she won't give you the assignments missed. it would be more ideal to just take a completely online class, this was more trouble than it had to be.
Don't listen to these responses, prof Green is an awful professor just take a full online class you would save time.
Do not take her class in-person. Waste of time. Just puts on youtube vids and a short question at the end of class for homework. That question is the only reason people would show up to class. Good amount of discussions and short papers(100-300 words). Can just bs and u get full credit if u meet the length requirement. Good person just boring topic
6 exams, can find most answers on Socratic or quizlet. If not, CTRL+F the question in textbook to find it.For class questions, u can just write anything and she'll for sure give u full credit. For longer papers, u can copy and paste most of it, just make sure u cite, and u will receive full credit. If u have an A, ur EXEMPT from Final Exam.
She is very nice and caring, her classes are easy but informative. Recommend 10/10
Great teacher!! just turn in work and you should be all good. the B+ is not my final grade but grade now before finals.
Easiest grader ever on writing assignments, for the exams most answers are on quizlet or easy to find in your textbook. Many different extra credit options if you need a grade boost. Definitely take her if you need the credits.
Great professor, if you have a 90% or higher your exempt from the final.
Professor Green is one of the best professors ever. The online textbook is included with the class, so you do not have to buy one. There were online exams every 2 weeks where we could use our textbook. There were plenty of opportunities to do extra credit. She cares about her students and wants everyone to succeed.
Ms. Green is really nice and overall is a good teacher. My biggest complaint is that the lectures mainly consisted of videos that can be found on YouTube which is kind of boring for those who aren't very interested in Psychology. I would recommend this class for an easy elective and an easy A
Prof. Green is super sweet, took her for gen psych online thru SCF Live meaning we had a mandatory zoom once a week. She talks more about general ideas and concepts and leaves the specifics to the loads of resources she provides. Most assignments and all tests(proctorio) were thru mcgrawhill connect some w/ multp. attempts. Easy 2 pass and relaxed.
First ever college class I took, very nice and always in a good mood. Textbook was included once you purchase the class, tests were open note. Gives us very good lectures and videos, if I had to take this class again; I would.
Professor Green was amazing, she's very understanding. Her class was very easy and her powerpoint on the lectures is were very through. Her homework is pretty easy and at least 2 take a bit of time. I enjoyed her class a lot and if you have a 90 or above before the final, you don't have to take the final.
Professor Green is an incredibly kind and understanding teacher. While the class mainly consists of watching YouTube videos, the tests are straightforward and the assignments are easy to complete. Unstuck study was super helpful for exam prep.
Waste of time. She just went over a brief PowerPoint and had the class watch YouTube videos. Tests were 50 questions long with 2 hrs to complete with no notes and you were proctored via proctario. Chapters were very lengthy and a lot to read and grasp and her PowerPoints were little help. Definitely would not take her class again.
She is really understanding, so her class is not stressful! I am hoping to take her class again next semester!
I loved Mrs. Green, she's a lenient grader and isn't harsh about due dates she actually wants you to learn the material. I would recommend her for PSY 2012.
I would highly recommend Mrs. Green, she cares about you learning the material and isn't harsh about due dates. Can't wait to take DEP with her next semester
Ms. Green was an excellent professor. She is understanding and easy to grade when it comes to homework. However, the course is pretty test-heavy, and the test is a big part of your grade, especially if you take it over eight weeks, so be aware. Ms. Green is an excellent teacher, and I am excited to take another one of her classes!
I really wanted to love this class, but it is probably the worst experience I've had with a professor to date. Fumbled a lot with the technology, cancelled meetings right before and posted homework late or incorrectly. Meetings were her playing youtube videos and just okay, + hard to contact outside of class. Nice, but I don't recommend at all.
Professor Green was great. Rubrics were clear, and she was always respectful and responsive in meets and email. She emphasized understanding and offered extra credit. The course was test-heavy with tricky questions, but tests came from a platform she didn't control. Only critique: she occasionally canceled meetings same day. Overall, she was great.
She's a great professor who really values students paying attention and sharing ideas. The tests are live-supervised, so it's important to read the material beforehand. The assignments can be a bit long, but they're not hard. If you're thinking of taking her class, you'll be just fine!
Amazing professor!!! Yes, attendance is mandatory and likes for you to participate in group discussion. Read the material and be prepared. She is so understanding that life happens and truly wants all of her students to succeed. Highly recommend and if you're struggling, just reach out!
I took the 8-week course. Teacher's amazing, but not a fan of two videos she plays every lecture. There's lots of writing homework usually 1/2 a page, and final assignments are 1–3 pages. She cancels class sometimes. We had 7 at home exams (50 questions), and 100 question final based on those. Weekly discussion posts required replies to 2 people.
