Good teacher, helpful study guides. Instead of a major project for U.S GOVT, you just do reaction papers. He also has videos and good internet activities. Study for the test essay's there usually like 14 pts!

Overall, one of the best teachers I've had. He keeps classes interesting, and if you study a little, there's no reason why you shouldn't ace the course.

Took him for both 2305 & 2306 online. Very easy class. Read textbook and take tests!! Has lots of assignments on the side though. Very time consuming. Let's you drop 1 test - and can be your final! But take every test! The final is hard!! Also study your terms.

Mr Hunt knows his stuff! He's been involved in government for decades, so has a very thorough knowledge of US government at both federal and state levels. None of his assignments are hard, as long as you read the book and pay attention in class.

Prof Hunt is OUSTANDING! I have a new understanding of gov't and that is all due to him - before his class I honestly thought it would be too hard to grasp - take him!

Taking US Government with him currently. He's an amazing teacher! Took time the first day to learn everyone's names (there's about 29 of us!!). He's pretty easy. Tests are easy, based on lectures. Keeps the lectures interesting. Even though its easy, you really learn a lot in the course. He's awesome! I highly recommend him.

He absolutely is a wonderful teacher! I was very lucky to have him. He's very easy, funny, and really knows his stuffs. His lectures are very clear and he makes Government (which was very boring in HS) extremely fun and exciting! His tests are easy and everything is just from the notes. Easy US Government course. He's pretty funny, not what I expected. Way too easy to make an A as long as you do the assignments. Tests are easy too. He gets really emotional when talking about Obama's election (which I find kinda funny). Really doesn't like cell phones and will kick you out of class if he sees you with one during class time.

Mr. Hunt is a great, has great passion for teaching and government. It was a great time to take his course with history being made in the election of the first black president. if you come to class and do all the work you will get an A. Simple as that. And believe him when he tells you to turn off your cell phone.

I took the hybrid course (his first time doing this). It was fun and interesting. He gives you four exams, internet activities, essay questions, discussion boards on blackboard. Great teacher. Has a genuine desire for everyone to do well in the class, and goes to great lengths to make that happen. I took the hybrid course, which was really nice. There are a decent number of assignments, but they're all fairly easy. Tests are easy if you pay attention in class, and especially if you've already had US Government.

Professor Hunt is an amazing teacher! If you want to learn something about Texas Government,take him. He cares about his students and wants everyone to enjoy the class. All you have to do is come to class, take notes, read the supplemental readings and do the Internet activities. The final project is easy and fun! Too easy not to make an A.

I took Mr. Hunt for a hybrid class. We only met once a week and the rest of our work was done online and we took our tests in class. He was a great teacher and I would have enjoyed the class more if we had got to meet more than once a week. The tests are straight forward and as long as you study and use his study guide you will do well.

Took his online course, straight out of the books chapters are the test, so know the study guides and get an A. On all assignments due its your personal opinion so just be clear on your point and will get a 10. Easy A if you apply your own personal beliefs

I took the online class. His test questions come from the study guide. So spend the time and answer all the questions. Internet activities were not hard. Overall good teacher.

Took distance. Online activities and papers not difficult. Really study the text and well before exams; not something you can cram for and get a good grade. Exams (include several written answers, essays) pretty difficult even with objectives. Overall nice teacher, but don't ask for extra credit--even it you are a few points shy of an A.

Took Hunt for TX Govt and have him now for US Govt. He is an amazing Government teacher! Best ever! I never liked learning about Govt but he makes it really interesting, esp because of all his personal experiences, shows that Govt truly is his life. His tests are very straight forward. Study the terms, answer and study test questions, do reaction papers and Internet activities and you'll make an A. Seems like a lot but it's really not bad AT ALL!

Glen Hunt is a great professor. I took his GOVT 2305 online this summer. He was very helpful when I had questions. As long as you read your text book and study hard which to me is the key for long distance learning, you wouldn't have trouble to get a good grade.

Took online course and got an easy B+. Assignments are easy but exam was not. Few multp. choice, 3 definitions, and a 15 point essay. I averaged high 80's on exams and a few 10's, 9's and a 6/10 on the homework and still got a B+. Easy busy work,learned alot and actually enjoyed the subject.NO extra credit, grades & responds to email quickly.

I took him for both US and TX GOVT. Very well organized for an online class. Always answered my questions. Has a review for each test. DO it and you will do fine.

Great professor. He is stern, but fair. If you read the book and use his study guide for the test his class is an easy A.

Prof. Hunt was great. His lectures were clear and to the point. He addresses everything that will/won't be on the tests. He will go into detail about every test through his lectures. If you just study what he lectures it's an easy class. Projects and out of class assignments were easy and to the point. Makes class interesting too.

Fall 2014: He's very knowledgeable about the subject. The tests are mostly based on the notes he gives in class, and he'll say "this will be on the test". Only 10 HW assignments period. I didn't use the text book at all, except to study for tests. Overall easy going, but can have a mild temper at times and absolutely no tolerance for cell phones.

Professer hunt is the most knowledgable and interesting prof i have ever jad. he is gruff but will help you if you need it. i want to work in govt and he gave me great advice to get started. his lectures are to the point and detailed. i would reccomend him to anyone. i am taking texas govt with him for sure.

Prof Hunts class was overall enjoyable. He comes off as a bit of a rough old dude at first but I found him to be a sweet guy by the end. His lectures are full of real world examples. He will call out people to answer questions. Some homework but it's simple stuff. Tests can be a little hard but he will let you know what will be on the test.

I enjoyed coming to this class, homework is easy points so do it and do it on time! If you are doing your assignments he will be nice to you, he gets mad fast but never at me. Don't be on your phone in this class. Lectures are super interesting and all you need for the test. Would take him again.

The class is easy as long as you show up and take notes, if you study for the test which is basically all the notes you take in class you should do good. He knows the stuff, How to teach student. His classes are very much fun, and I really didn't know nothing about government. He teaches really nice. After class, you can visit his office and can know more about the US Government. This gonna help for the course as well as for knowledge. I'm his long time student. Why doesn't he have a 5? He's wonderful & hilarious. Although he's old, his voice is strong and he's actually worked in government before with stories to tell. Inspires students, always there, point-build-up grading. 4 tests with the 4th being optional. You can do all 10 homeworks as early as the first week, which is great. online free txtbk too.

If you want to pass, go to class and take good notes. Tests are all based off of the lectures so the textbook is pointless. Discussion board and internet activities are an easy 100 so do those. Tests consists of multiple choice, fill in the blank, short answer, and a short essay.

Glen Hunt is one of the best Professor, I have ever seen. I came from foreign country, and it was very difficult to Understand the Government. His way of teaching is one of the best style I have ever taken. His Office hours are the best time, if you feel lost in class. He explains clearly. Do his everyday activities,You will make good Grade.

Awesome professor! Class includes papers, Internet activities, oral presentation, and four exams. If you do well in the beginning you can opt out of exam four and the oral exam. This class is an easy A if you study for the exams. Offers a free online textbook, which is a plus. Nice guy, but he will not hesitate to kick students out of his class.

You don't have to read/buy a book. Honestly, it's impossible to not get an A in his class if you are there most of the time. Extra credit. Only counts 3 out of 4 tests. Gives you an option so that you don't have to write an essay for his test (even though the essay is easy!!!!! TAKE HIS CLASS!!

I have taken Glen for both US Govt. and Texas Govt. His class is fun and very involved. You will not get bored in this class trust me. He likes to have fun with his students, and is a very fair grader. The textbook is free for this course, but the bulk of what will be on tests is from class notes. If you pay attention you will pass.

Hunt is a great professor. He knows his stuff. He gives great lectures with good examples. Test are based on class lecture. Watch for the statistics on the PowerPoints he will test you on that. Over all you can get an A if you pay attention and do your study guide.

Mr hunt is the greatest college professor i have taken thus far. I got a high A in his US government class and didn't have to work extremely hard. He has extremely lenient grading policies and will drop your lowest test score if you take the 4th test. He's also very friendly, hilarious and inspirational. The only person who made Gov fun!!!

Prof. Hunt is hands down my favorite professor I've ever had. He inspires me to want to do better for myself and for the people I'm surrounded by. He's down to earth and on occasion he made me laugh out loud (granted I was laughing alone). He's understanding and lays everything out for you in the syllabus.. Take notes and only miss class if ness.

SUPER EASY CLASS. He involves the students in his conversations, and his lectures can be a bit dry and boring, but he covers everything you need to know for the tests. He gives study guides and you have to do a few worksheets. 3 exams, can do a 4th to replace one of the three tests if you have a bad grade. Really sweet and passionate person

I took the hybrid class. His lectures were actually really good, in my opinion. His test are mostly lecture base, shouldn't be too hard to get a A if you studied. He does give a bit of assignments outside of class over the course but those are not difficult . Definitely would favor the hybrid class over the normal one.

Professor Hunt delivers great lectures. Be very attentive in his class. He would explain each and every thing in his lecture without looking at book. Be ready to take notes hi his class. His exams will completely based on his lectures. So, if you attend his classes seriously, you would get an easy "A".

Professor Hunt was one of those professors who left me a more knowledged student and he is one of my favorite profs. Took both his state and us govt classes, and it's an easy A, but not too easy of an A. He is very knowledgeable about government since he worked in state government and his lectures are simple but very informative.

Prof. Hunt makes learning politics fun. He gives amazing lectures so if you take good notes, you will do great on his tests. He is funny and has interesting teaching techniques that keep you interested. You will never be bored. He has a zero " no cellphone " tolerance which I greatly respect.
