The easiest math class you'll ever take. The tests that he gives are shrt band sweet, with similar ones posted on the internet. He has loads of extra credit, including one whole test! I would say its impossible to not get a high grade with him...

Glen Paget is a genius. The best math teacher in the universe. REALLY! I use to hate math but now I love it and that's because of him. Never thought I'd say that. I wish every student could have a teacher like this. If you really want to learn the mystery and magic of algebra-this is the MAN!

If you want to learn math, and don't want to do any homework then take this class because on the test it's only 10 questions on the test and 20 questions on the final. He will give you a extra credit test that is worth up to five extra credit points. The requirement is go up to the board 3 times.

Prof. Paget is one of the greatest most helpful instructors I ever had. He explains every step and is very patient. If you do the sample tests and all of the homework, you can pass the class with a good grade. I highly recommend this instructor.

Professor Paget is an excellent teacher. If you want to get an A in his class, you have to do your homework. I mean all of them. He does not collect them. If you don't, you will not do well on the test. He really tests if you understand the materials. There is no trick to the test, either you know it, or you don't. If you don't, study harder.

You have to get up 3 times or lose one whole letter grade. On scntrn test I had a B but because I didn't show my work I got a D! Im better at guesstimating. I dropped and got a W. AFTER I paid for this 5 unit class. Wish I knew his grading method before I wasted my money.

Im taking him right now and he is a good teacher. I like the way the problems are explain and what i like is that if you dont understand a problem he will go back and explain it again.

For reasons that will be made clear when you take his class, he's not the animated teacher that some students look for. However, he is patient with his students. He wants you to suceed. Keep up with the homework, do the reviews and you're sure to do well. You may even get the chance to play, "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire."

mr paget is a good teacher. yes you do have a scantron test where he has you show all of your work inorder to get credit, but he does it this way cause he dsnt have you turn in your homework.

I hated math for a long time. So after Paget's class I actually think that Math is interesting. I didn't even wanted to learn Math but in Paget's class it just happened. Mr Paget knows how to teach and even if you think you're stupid at math take his class. He'll help you.

If u don't pass this class, I dont know, you should question your ability to be in college. He is a very helpful, easy teacher. He goes over every test, there are sample tests & an extra credit test @ the end. You are allowed to use a calculator. If your absent you do need to catch up & fast, plus your only allowed to have 4!

I took Professors Paget's class when I attended Valley College almost 20 years ago. Always a very helpful professor who was there to help his students when they needed help, thoughtful and caring. One of those fond memories was his daily trips to Disneyland. Thank you for giving me a lifelong love for mathematics.

TAKE HIM! I hated Math in HS, and he makes it so easy. Has a great TA and will always make the effort to help you out. Always asks if everyone understands. 9 tests, 1 extra credit test and other chances for extra credit. You must go to the board three times to avoid dropping a grade but thats easy. He is one of the best math professors. you learn alot in his class. take him I you get the opportunity. He gives ten quizes w/ 10 questioins, Homework is not mandatory but you do have to go up to the board atleast 3 times. He drops the lowest quiz. I got an "B" not sure why I didnt get an "A."

I have never liked math, like many others. I took Mr. Paget for Math 115 & 125 and passed both times with a B+. He is a great professor. We have a test for every chapter and he ALWAYS reviews the day before the test. You must go to the board 3 times and each time after that is extra credit. I recommend him!

Do what you have to do to take his class. Great teaching style, he really cares about his students, and sincerly wants you to get an A. Plus, he's totally patient with those who are a bit behind in their skills. The total package! But, when you take his class just shut up and listen b/c he doesn't have control over talkers like other professors do.

ok, here's the deal. i'm terrible at math, but passed paget's class. he's a nice guy, but sometimes can isn't as helpful as he claims to be. but! his assistant helped me out A LOT. take my advice. DO the chapter review tests and you will be FINE. he might change up the problem juuust a bit, but for the most part it's similar to the review

If you have to take 125- take him. He is not the best teacher and doesnt help you too much but definetly the easiest at valley. You do need to show up everyday- hes very strict on absenses and he has 10 tests- drops the lowest.

Prof. Paget is gr8 & and Carla (T.A) is very helpful. Exams are 10 questions. If you can do the sample test, you will pass your chapter tests. Req. to go to the board (vol.) basis.Extra credit after that for each time u go up. He's always in his office, he is always available to help you.

I took Mr. Paget for 115, it was awesome. I had never understood Math until I took it with him. His 115 TA Carla, is absolutely amazing. She's so smart and helpful. It was a very good class.

He's easy to understand. u have to be there every day. if u fail to show up the 1st day ur automatically dropped. the only thing i didnt like about this class was he gave SO MUCH HW and each chapter's hw is worth 1 point! he gives out 9 tests but are 10 questions longs. theyre pretty easy.

Wow I was definitely anti-math prior to taking this class and now I look forward to going to class everyday. He truly cares about students. There's NO WAY a person can do poorly in this class. Tests are 10 questions and he provides sample tests. Lots of homework but it's nice practice. He's so so helpful and knowledgeable I DEFINITELY recommend him to anyone who's ever struggled in math and finally wants to succeed.

This class isn't hard at all, and his TA does a great job at working out the problem on the board while Mr. Paget explains it. The only downside is that there are a lot of hw assignments and exams, but he provides study guides to help you prepare for them.

This professor use to be very nice and helpful. This year he's very grumpy & moody. He use to be a favorite professor due to his positive attitude & kind nature, but he leads this semester as if the students are in military camp. I know he has some health issues, so I try to cut him some slack. The class is still good, but I miss the old Paget.

I am a returning "career" student. If I can, I will always be in a class. Paget, in my opinion, one of the VERY best. He truly cares. He is patient and to my surprise (because he seemed too nice upon meeting), he had total control of the classroom. If math is a challenge for you, take Paget. I just wish he was teaching more.

I took Prof. Paget for math 115 & 125. Math does not come easy to me. I've taken other teachers at Valley and he is the only one that understands math, and teaches it well. Low points, every homework is worth 1 point. test every week, 10 questions. If you go up to the board you get extra credit, which really helps you in the end.

Professors Paget made the material easy to understand and show detail on how to do the problems. I took this course during the Summer Session (5 weeks) LOTS of homework but the practice helped me with the exams. He gives opportunity to gain extra credit that comes handy to raise the grade. Wow was this class intense. I took Professor Paget for summer & the first few weeks I was ready to quit due to the over load of homework and the stress on alot of test. But somehow I managed to stay. A descion I do not regret. I learned so much from him &although math for me was difficult Prof. Paget made it easy and was very helpful I got an A.

Professor Pajet is the best! He is very helpful, his teaching methods are great and he is very nice as well. There is quiet a lot of HW, nine quizzes and a final. I would recommend Mr Pagets class to anyone looking to get an easy pass! He is very big on extra credit and participation. Homework is due on test days. When he reviews for the test he gives u sample questions exactly like the ones on the test except different numbers.

Professor Paget is a great, he makes math much easier to understand. If you want to be successful in math take his class. HW is due the day of the test. He also gives extra credit quiz, which really helps. Reviews for the test a day before the test. Sample test is very similar to the actual tests. I wish he taught other classes.

This is my third time attempting Math 125, and I have never understood it more than I do now thanks to Professor Paget. Despite his disability, he teaches with a true passion and makes sure we understand. Sample tests are reviewed day before actual test, if you study it guaranteed to pass. He always says he is the happiest when he is teaching math

Great prof. I never thought I'd get an "A" in math, especially during a Winter session, but he really makes sure you understand. Lets you know the points needed to pass. Goes over all diff. scenarios, extra credit, and sample test. Class is set up to pass as long as you do the homework and practice. If you put in work, you'll pass, guaranteed.

Words cannot explain how amazing Professor Paget is. Never would have I imagined that I would get an A+ over winter session. lectures are crystal clear, and exams are straight forward. he taught me the value of hard work and now I feel like I can take on any class. Professor paget is the best! Passed with a good grade, took him in the winter and was very intense because of the work and the 2 test per week but he made math very fun and the class became a little family for the semester. Shout out to his winter TA Kayla she was cool!! Haha anyways I recommend him!

Professor Paget is a great professor. He really wants you to succeed but you must put in the work. His tests are just like his sample test but you need to know the material so you won't get tricked by the dummy terms. Do the extra credit it is always helpful in the long run

Professor Paget is the BEST! He explains math so well, and he will keep on explaining to you until you understand the concept. If you do the homework, you will easily receive an "A" in his class. Whatever you put in, you will receive. Don't blame him for your bad grade! Use his office hours! He will help you anytime, as long as you ask!

I took Math 115 last semester with a horrible teacher and I failed. This semester I looked into this site, found great reviews on Prof. Paget and decided to take his class. He's a great teacher! He has Chapter Reviews which make the tests more easier and offers a lot of Extra Credit Board points. Take him, you will surely pass!

If you're afraid of failing math, you need to take Paget's class. I'm so lucky I had him for Math 115 and Math 125 or I would not have passed. Even if you don't do too well on tests, there are ways to make up your points. You need the book and you need to ask questions. Don't get lazy with homework. Anna was also the best TA, super helpful!

If you are about to take Math 125, take it with Professor Paget. His number one goal is to get you to pass the class. Lots of extra credit opportunities as well. Before every test, we would do a practice test, and exactly how you see it is what the actual test would be like. This was one of the key things that helped me do well in his class.

Professor Paget has forever changed the way I see my mathematic ability. This is coming from someone who always had to drop my math class bc I just couldnt get it. Math is not my subject, I was absolutely terrible at it before I took Professor Paget's class. He's a wonderful professor. He was super helpful and gave practice tests before each test so you're not surprised when the actual test comes. Do them, they help A LOT. He does make you go to the board, but his extra credit counts as a board point too.

Professor Paget is really a great teacher. He cares&wants everyone to get an A. So ask questions always,even during the test if there is something you don't understand or are unsure of he will do his best to clarify it. He Offers plenty of help. Best math professor at LAVC. Period. Professor Paget makes it easy for anyone, regardless of whether or not they're good at math, to pass with an A. His course consists of 10-question, multiple-choice tests, a 20-question final, and HW assignsments that prepare you for the tests. In addition, he gives several opportunities to receive extra credit.

There is tons of extra credit, the tests are easy because he gives you samples that are JUST LIKE THE REAL TEST. Participation is mandatory but after the requirement, additional participation is extra credit. Expect a good deal of homework, however the sample tests are the holy grail of what will help you get that A. TAKE HIM!! He's a gift to LAVC

He was an amazing teacher. I wasn't good at math but the way he teaches is clear and understandable. He gave a lot of tests but expect sample tests which are super helpful for the actual test. He gave chances for extra credit and helped during the test. If you sit in his class every day you will definitely understand the material.

Professor Paget is the most amazing math teacher. I am horrible in math and I easily passed his class with hardwork. All that's expected is told to you from the beginning and countless oppuritnies are provided for you to earn the highest grade possible. Wish he taught higher level math, love his class.

Professor Paget is such an amazing professor, he is very clear and understandable during his lectures. He uses problems from the book and shows an easier way to solve it. Math has always been difficult for me, but Professor Paget helped make it clear and understandable. Gives alot of examples, and prepares you for the test so you know exactly what to expect. Very thorough and gives alot of opportunities for extra credit. Participation mandatory.

He is relatively easy to most math teachers here on campus. He gives samples tests that are just like the test we study for. he gives A LOT of extra credit. just remember one thing. This is still a math class and it's not a walk in the park. do you part too. Take him! you wont regret it !

Fantastic teacher. You will have to work hard to complete the homework, but you have a decent amount of time to complete it. Test are not hard because he gives sample test that more than prepare you. Professor Paget is one of my favorite professors at LAVC. He truly cares about his students and wants them to succeed. He offers plenty of extra credit. Don't hesitate to ask questions. If you get stuck during a test it is worthwhile to go up and ask him for assistance. His TAs are also very helpful. Anyone who needs Math 125 should take his class.

Amazing professor! He teaches you so you understand, and does the problems step by step. Before him, math was very difficult for me but he made it so I understood it. He gives lots of extra credit, and you must go to the board 3 times. His tests are easy if you study the practice tests and pay attention in class!

Professor Paget was by far the best math teacher I have ever had! I'm one of those people who complain about how much they hated math, mostly because it was a very difficult subject for me. After this class it has become much less daunting and easier to understand. Prof. Paget's lectures are great and if you put in the work, you will do well! :)

I took professor Paget spring and I must say this sweet, smart man made me enjoy, understand and encourage me to pass math. . .with an A!!! I would really recommend this only to students who truly have a hard time with math, as professor and his intelligent assistants are willing to help one learn the material and formulas. im taking him again!

Best Professor I have had at valley. Lectures are clear, and as long as you do your homework and study for tests it is an easy A. Just like any other class you need to do your part as well but he makes the class as easy as it possibly can be. He also gives a lot of extra credit opportunities which is great. I started in Math 115 with Professor Paget. With the foundation he gave me, I received an A in every math course I took at LAVC up to Calculus 3. I did not have a great understanding of algebra initially, and I placed into 115. I credit my success in math largely to Professor Paget and the foundation of algebra he created for me. Best Professor.
