He is very informative and easy to understand. His tests are fairly easy and he is easy going.

Very nice man, but has no structure when he teaches, often rambles adn talks off. his assignments are easy but his tests are very hard. Even he was confused on where he got some of the answers.Doesnt prepare u 4 tests.

Highly recommened. I had learned a lot from the class. He had a lot of knowledge of governments. His lectures seem to come from his experience with text book as suppliments. If you pay attention you cannot fail in this class. Homeworks were reseaches of current events and organizations. The tests were easy if you studied and understand the subject.

Super nice guy. Have to do weekly current events: get an article, summerize it, give your opinion. Tests are weird, he doesn't lecture on test material so you have to read the chapter and it helps if you go to the publishers website where they have extra stuff. He is very easy with the grading at the end...just don't bomb the tests.

i am totally "not" into us government so i found his lecture extremely boring. he has a great passion for what he teaches and is a really good teacher. if you can pay attention to his lectures(they aren't that bad), and retain the information, you'll do great. i myself had a hard time sitting in his class.

I like politics and I really enjoyed the class. He may seemed unorganized but he is really smart. He has a deep passion for political science. I think if you want to learn this is the class for you. If you want to sit and waste your time go somewhere else. The homework not hard and the final was not as hard as I thought. I would take it again.

sometimes he can be really boring, but a lot of what he has to say is interesting. he has a lot of background in government and so much experience. i hated government until i took his class, now i'm looking into government careers. he's a really nice guy and very helpful.

mr ross is a good teacher...but if you take him in the summer he is very breif and his tests are more intense. i got a b in his summer class. the class is hard to take in the summer because if you aren't interested in this class it can put you too sleep!

This professor changed my life. I became a Political Science major because of him. I went on to a Cal State, graduated, and I am now a high school teacher!

I'm not big on politics, but this man knows what he's talking about. Take notes and do the practice tests and you will do fine! He's very kind. No HW, only 4 tests (including the final) and 3 virtual field trips (easy points, do them). I received a B.(:

Prof. Ross is wonderful.I knew nothing about politics at all. He expects YOU to read the book but he sits on his desk and teaches from his own knowledge. Take good notes and do the practice quizzes and you should Ace the class.I got a B and like I said came in knowing nothing. Very nice man too.

I meant to say if you speak up in his class and ask questions then you'll learn a lot. I took his class in 1996 and am glad to see that he is still around helping students learn about goverment.

glenn ross is a great teacher! i was worried about taking poli sci but he made everything very easy to understand. just attend class, do the work, and try on the test and youll pass the class. i recommended him to a friend and they were happy they took him. good guy good teacher!

It's a hit or a miss. Prof is VERY knowledgeable & Fantastic! He is only as active as the class... If the class is quiet and doesnt ask questions or engage in conversation,then he seems annoyed no one is trying. He's very good at leading answers & making you "think." He gives guides for the tests which require substantial studying, but its not bad.

He's one of the easiest teachers I've had so far at Citrus. He's an easy A as long as you write all the papers, do well on the quizzes and do the midterm and final. If you wanna learn but not do lots of work, take him for sure! I'm taking another class with him cause he's awesome!

I took his 103 class and it was much more interesting and easy. This one wasn't very interesting but I did get an A. Just make sure to do well on the group projects and written midterm and final.

My ratings might have reflected a good teacher but he is not one. We barely go over any information and he is very forgetful. But his class is extremely easy. He takes a long time to grade and he gives you a cheat sheet for the test. If you want an easy class, take this. If you want to learn, go to a different community college.

His tests are based off his lecture which are a little harder than you would expect but not exactly difficult. He is absolutely computer illiterate.

I am a Poli-Sci major but I know its not everyone's thing. If not then you might not like Ross's teaching style, but I loved it. It's lecture with numerous writing assignments but they're easy. Quizzes and exams are easy too. Just be there and pay attention. He knows his stuff.

Professor Ross class was very clear.I have a better understanding of the political arena. Note taking is a must if you want to pass the exams and quizzes. Test are not difficult,if you study. However missing lectures can hurt your overall grade. I found the class very useful especially if you want to keep up with political current events.

He is cool. Goes off his lectures and tests are DUMB easy as he only asks questions which were on the quizzes. Essay portion easy, he gives you th essay topics weeks before exam. attendance is respectful but you wont fail if you miss a day or two. Be nice to him because he is extremely nice to his students!

I enjoyed his class. At the begging it seemed a bit boring, but I started to get use to his teaching and he cracks some jokes up here and there. I bought the book, but you don' need it. Just take notes from what he says and everything he does say will be on the quizzes and exams. I recommend him for winter!! Just study!

I just took his Winter 2012 6 week course. He was very nice, very happy and relaxed. he told us what we needed to do, no unclear directions. Gives us test topics so we can study way ahead of time. He is flexable as long as you show him you know your material. Take him! I got an A!!

Very easy class. Just pay attention and study for tests and you'll do fine. He says "and so forth" after everything he says, so be prepared for that.

Ross is a great professor. He keeps things pretty light and likes to laugh the whole way through. If you know anything about current events you will be laughing as well. Class consists of 4 virtual field trips (go on a certain website and write a one page paper). Test consists of 10 multi-choice and 5 short essay questions. He doesn't use PP, so take detailed notes, study and you should do good. I enjoyed him and his class. Con: doesn't give you tests/papers back in a timely manner.

Although sometimes is a bit boring, he uses his life experience stories to tell what he wants to teach you, if not he'll make a funny story that you will remember until after his class. A laid back teacher. His homework is easy, quizzes can be tough if you don't buy the book. You never find out your grade until the end of the semester when he finally grades everything and passes it back. Kind of stressful not knowing my grade, but he is a good professor and I passed with a B.

Glen Ross is a really nice professor and is well respected. I was dreading Political Science, but he made the class EASIER and more interesting the book. The book was too much terminology to understand. Mr. Ross really explains the material EASY and well compared to the book. I learned so much and understand politics now!

I really liked this class and found it to be easy. For 103 do not buy the book, you won't need it. This class only had 4 quizzes, 2 exams, and 4 assignments. Really easy if you try at least a little. No final. I highly recommend.

Mr. Ross is by far the most amazing professor i've ever had, he is super clear on what he is looking for and as long as you try you will most likely pass. don't over read into the books if he doesn't discuss it in class it most likely isn't on his quiz. take those vocabulary words serious they are a big portion of your midterm and final.

Not a tough class. Book was rarely used, mainly for definitions. He sometimes gets off topic but it happens. Quizzes are easy if you study a handful of times. Gives out a sheet with terms that will be on the exams but he'll pick 4. Take good notes and simply study. You'll pass.

I took his class during the summer and it was such an easy class. He does have a lot of quizzes but his finals were only 15 questions and they were all from the quizzes!! Plus two short answers about key terms. Would definitely take him for a summer class again. Pretty easy and he is super sweet and understanding.

Funny guy and easy to get along. Lecture heavy and can get boring at times. I think his memory is going out. I would doze off a few times because the material was bland. I would bring a laptop or homework and utilize your time well in class. Easy grader and he gives you a study guide almost identical to your test. Would recommended 10/10.

He is a humorous man, and his quizzes are a little bit tricky, but only 10questions, and have 4 virtue field trip, which is only one page. The midterm is talking about two key word. And Professor Glen will hand out a study guide for the key words. That is really helpful. Easy class.

I took this class online but met with the professor many times in person and if it wasn't for his help, time and understanding I wouldn't have made it through this class.

I enjoyed having Professor Ross as my instructor. A lot of people are claiming that his class was an easy A but for some, that isn't the case because there were three exams and several pop quizzes. Yes, he's losing his short term memory but he's very fluid and knowledgeable on political science. Very lenient, approachable, and caring professor!
