Pretty good prof. makes class fairly interesting and test are a breeze IF you study. He always does a lecture w/ pwrpts. and they pretty much cover whats on the test unless he tells you otherwise. Usually one out of book lecture on each test. 5 asmnts/papers which he sometimes can be confusing about but it is a very low-stress class, i made a B

Tolle was cool. He'd joke around and try to relate the lectures to modern day. He knew everyone by name and actually cared about the students. Not a lot of bookwork unless you just want to go the extra mile. Had a review for every test and had a double down option for the final. If you want a refreshing prof, take him.

LOL LOL this guy is funny. I don't think he even takes attendance which is awesome. 3 day rule sucks. Anyways he always jokes around and puts emphasis in his words, ALOT. Like every sentence...He's cool. This class is pretty straightforward, pay attention occasionally to the PowerPoint slides in class and look over the book. (I never read the book)

My all time favorite professor! He talks very clear & loud. The class is all lecture, but he makes it very interesting and funny. He gives out study guides for his test & as long as you study that, you will make an easy A. You wont have to read the book if you just pay attention in class & study the study guide. I would def. recommend him!

Mr Tolle speaks very LOUD and clear. He's definitely a funny, nice and helpful teacher. If you don't make an A, it's because you didnt try. Study guides are CRUCIAL.

Pro Tolle is a great professor! He keeps you laughing while teaching you... His tests are easy as long as you do the review or read. You don't have to do both to pass. He doesn't take roll, which is great!!! I'd take any class he taught, but unfortunately it's the only one.

Tolle is amazing! Interesting lectures, encourages feedback, actual WANTS you to pass. He makes you work, but he's incredibly clear and helpful, you would have to try harder to fail than you would to get an A. I'd take him again in an instant, highly recommended.

Tolle changed my life. i had no idea what major i wanted to pursue and, its sociology. He's a great teacher and i will be asking if he teaches anything else, and take it without hesitation. Fill out the reviews during class so you write down the info twice and thats a guaranteed B on every test without even studying. extra credit helps so much!

He is very clear about what's going to be on the test- there are no trick questions whatsoever. As long as you fill out & study the review, you should make an A on his tests. Great professor, would recommend.

He gives you study guides for every test. His notes are really helpful. You do use the textbook some, might be able to get by without it. Only wrote one paper, but there are three other class assignments which are quizzes or short answer papers. He's a really good professor who wants you to learn. I would take one of his classes again.

Glenn Tolle man, he's awesome! He's funny and loud! Be sure to take notes in class because he doesn't post his powerpoints. Also, write down the things he says that aren't typed out in the PP notes because they are more than likely going to be test questions. He gives reviews for all exams which really come in clutch. I looked forward to his class!

Tolle is the man, he can be a little bit of a rough grader but he is very good at explaining exactly what he wants out of an assignment. His power points are clear, to the point and very detailed. Everything he talks about in class and on his power points are sure to be found on his exams, take good notes.

Tolle is one of my favorite professors I have ever had. He is super willing to help and super chill. Has one (very short) paper; DO NOT SLACK ON THIS!!! I slacked on it and that is the only reason I did not get an A. Tolle is the reason I am now minoring in sociology. TAKE TOLLE FOR SOCI 1301!!!

Tolle is amazing, Tests are very clear and if you master the reviews you are given, you will do just fine. You write two essays, both of which he is very clear on his expectations and grades very fairly. No homework except for the essays, and he also gives out occasional bonus points that he will add to your final grade for attendance.

I have a strong feeling that Tolle will be one of my favorite professors through the duration of my academic career. His passion for sociology and his jokes made it easy to focus and genuinely enjoy the class! He definitely wants to see his students succeed- he goes over tests & essays, final is weighted equally, and gives EC points. Take him!!

Mr. Tolle is an awesome professor, he is clear about what he wants on the tests and the written assignments, he makes classes enjoyable and he is funny. Soci isn't my fav subject but he made it intersting. He gives bonus points on the final and for printing out your review guide! Take him if you can!

Dr. Tolle was the best professor i have ever had the pleasure of taking. You show up and appreciate the man because of his passion. everything he grades is so clear and really cares about his students. first paper is hard but the rest of the course is easy. final exam seems tough but with the extra credit on it you will for sure pass!!

I LOVE TOLLE. He is an amazing prof. Everything was very straightforward, if you print out the study guides he gives bonus points to help toward your final grade. Tolle is a great professor because he truly wants you to understand and learn what is being taught. He is straight-forward on his tests, and if you listen to the tips he gives you before exams, study the review guides, and read the book chapters thoroughly (at least once, as he instructs) -you'll get an A+ guaranteed. You can tell he loves SOCI.

Great Professor. Tolle makes his lectures both entertaining and informative. You can tell this man loves what he does. Notes are easy to keep track of, and he provides a study guide for you to study from. Although some minor reading is required, most of the information for the exams he covers in class. Always open to questions, always helpful.

Best professor at Blinn. Knows the material super well and his lectures are entertaining and you learn a lot. After the tests he will ask students if they thought the test was fair or not and they always are. Gives extra credit at the end of the class which is super helpful.

Tolle was by far one of the best Prof's i've ever taken at Blinn. Gives extra credit points by just bringing the study review just before he starts lecturing over next exam material. Prepare to read, his slides only cover the surface and does not post them online (must fill in the blanks for each slide show). Easy a overall and GPA booster.

He's not a pushover. Just be up front and he'll work with you. A lot of extra credit opportunities. Made me laugh a lot too.

Tolle is one of my favorite profs that Ive had. He is extremely engaging in lecture and you can tell he really cares about his students and teaching soch. Pay attention to lectures and do the study guides for the test and you'll pass, for an A you'll need to read the textbook. Overall relatively easy class, but he does grade hard on essays.

Overall, I'd say Professor Tolle is a pretty awesome teacher. Every day I showed up to his class with a smile on my face because he's such a funny teacher and his lectures are fun. His class assignments were essays and if you wrote what he wanted, easy A. His tests were kind of tricky, but he did give fill in the blank notes. I ended up with an 80.

I loved prof tolle! He's hilarious & makes his lectures super interesting which makes class fun. He sets all of his students up for success. The papers are easy, just follow the rubric and understand what you're talking about and you'll get an A. Theres no homework, study for the tests and truly understand the concepts and you'll get a good grade!

Professor Tolle was amazing this semester. He turned our forces online learning dude to the pandemic into a fun learning experience. Class with him is never boring, as he makes the concepts relevant to every day life. His study guides are on point, and if you do them you should have no problem with the class.

One of my favorite Professors I have had in college. Mr. Tolle is always looking to make the class laugh and stay involved. I hated missing his class because it was a fun class. It got cut short due to COVID-19 but he made sure that we all were on track to make a good grade and still made sure class way fun. He was always there to help! 10/10

The class was interrupted due to COVID but he was still great at keeping you on track. Tests come straight from lecture notes. You don't have to read the book but would recommend.

Tolle was awesome and very funny! He is passionate about this class and wants you to become passionate. I took this class as an 8 week so it was a grind but not hard at all! Hes super chill and makes lectures entertaining. Grading wise, he sometimes gives extra credit and is very reasonable if you have any issues. He lays out what you need to do to get a good grade in a very clear way, and taking notes/reading the textbook and a little studying will ensure you get a good grade.

Overall, Tolle was a amazing teacher. The class is kind of repetitive, however, with Tolle's personality, lectures weren't a chore since he's so laid back. Tolle is a professor unlike I've ever had. He is hilarious, loud, and somewhat unhinged in the best way possible. I felt as if I learned a lot and the class is presented in a way where if you do the readings and go to class, you will make a great grade. Hilarious guy, and a VERY EASY class. A few multiple choice homeworks each week, 2 or 3 essays which were super easy (and he tells you exactly what to write in lecture), and 4 tests. He provides test reviews for each test which have pretty much the same questions as the test. Take Tolle for an easy A.

Honestly as long as you read the textbook/take notes on it you're golden. He's a nice guy but I didn't get much out of his lectures since all of his questions came straight from the book. Super easy class I just recommend the book and emailing him your papers for feedback.

I took Proffesor Tolle in an eight-week session. I highly recommend taking Tolle, as he gives great lectures and feedback, is caring, and accessible outside of the classroom. The exams are proctored, however if you attend class he provided plenty of study materials to do well.
