i like him.
the BEST PROFESSOR everrr....his lectures are very very very interesting. even if u r very tired, i gurantee u would not want to go to sleep in his class. i took his clss on tuesdays and thursdays and this clss was my motivation to come to school on those days....:D. i highly recomend his class.
THE BEST PROFESSOR OUT THERE.... I took him in the winter class and he dropped chapters and was very funny and made me get interested in the class....HIGHLY RECOMMENED TO TAKE HIM ANYTIME :)
Prof. Albright is a great lecturer. He's very funny and makes an effort to get his students interested in psychology. The exams are very easy if you read the text or the study guide and take the time to answer the sample questions on Blackboard. The only downside to this course was that he taught every other class day.
BEST PSYCH teacher. He is so funny. I never fall asleep in his class. He makes everything interesting. He really knows how to give a great lecture SO INTELLIGENT! There was A LOT of material to know though, but you will learn and the exams are ok as long as you do all the practice questions. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. =]
Good Professor. Teaches well and can hold up a good class despite its large size. Deff. Recommended.
Prof Albright...was the best ever!!Gives smaple questions and exam questions come straight from it..it's alot however..But once u do the sample questions u're good
amazing professor with a great sense of humor. knows his subject. just attend the lectures and read the textbook and you'll pass.
4 multiple choice tests. they are not hard but its hard to get an A. no curves. you get to do extra credit but for me it just balanced out not doing the research garbage. just study the book.
tough class but you can do well if you do the extra credit do the stupid mandatory study things and the best thing you can do is do the BB questions and u will do fine
amazing professor. A better reason to come to college. I really enjoy this class.
Makes the lesson go very quick. Always jokes and makes 500 people (lecture class) laugh. Always lets out early. But you have to read the book vey careful to do well on test. The course is over all a little taugh but if you pay attention in class and do the reading it's possible to get an A.
Nice pro.
Great class. There is usually 2 professors teching it together. Both are very funny and make the class interesting. Read the book and u got yourself an easy A.
Very clear in lecture. Very entertaining, even his tangents are entertaining. Downside: only lectures once a week, sometimes not for 3 weeks at a time. His co-professor will put you to sleep. Approximately 30% of students fall asleep when the other guy lectures. But Albright is fantastic. Take him if you can..and READ THE BOOK.
cool professor! however, the tests is based completely on the textbooks. the lectures are there to give you examples of how the stuff is applied in life. take advantage of the discussion board for more points!
lets c fist of all he only teaches half the classes, he is a lot of fun but when it comes to reviewing for the exam get ready to study... he goes know everything on page 1, 2 3 4 5 6 ....... 160 you can skip page 35 and 67 but know the chart on those pages, lol so u sit there and study 600 questions for one test, if u can do that piece of cake
best professor!! Recomend him 2 ne n evry1!! if u read the book then u can sleep in class n vice versa.. study a lil 4 da test but its not too necessary.. i got da highest grade on the test i didnt study 4.. His class rocks my socks =) lmao0o
A very great professor. Knows what he is talking about and what he is teaching. Gives examples from real life and keeps the class entertained with interesting jokes. As long as you make an attempt to come to class and listen to him, you will get an easy A
This teacher is the best!!! Knows his stuff and teaches the material with a fun appeal to it. Highly recommend!!
Great Professor, VERY funny guy. It was a huge lecture class with over 400 people so he wasn't so personal when teaching, but who can, with a class of that size. Makes lots of funny jokes to help us remember important points and keep us awake. Test material and stuff all come from the textbook. You can sleep in class but READ THE TEXTBOOK.
As students we need to be honest when we are rating these professors. It is not a popularity contest. First of all he was missing half the semester. There are 3 to 4 chapters per exam and you have to pay attention to details. I am not paying my tuition for a comedy session, if I need to laugh I know exactly where to go. Huge class appx 500 ppl.
Good professor, i would recommand taking him but it is not an easy A. You can easily pass but to get an A you need to study the chapters, which he specifies.
Great professor. Knows what he is talking about. If the class asks alot of questions it will slow him down so you dont have as much to study for the tests. He basically tells you what will be on the test. You NEED to read the textbook or at least what he says will be on the test from the text to pass. Also keep good notes cuz tht'll b on the test.
People, Prof.Albright is the best!!!I took his class in a short semester and got an A but nothing is for free- you have to open the book!!The class is not easy -lots of material to cover but Prof.Albrigt makes it very interesting and funny. You must me systematic and stay on the track an A will be your grade.
Very interesting person, makes a lot of funny jokes. But please, listen to it carefully: YOU NEED TO READ THE BOOK, EVERY SINGLE WORD, EVERY SINGLE LETTER. In class he gives only about 30% from what he's gonna ask you on exams. Be prepared for this because he seems to be easygoing, but his exams are extremely hard. You need to study A LOT!!!
Easiest class ever! Never even touched the book, heres a HUGE tip:all you need to study is the review m.c. questions and answer key he posts on blackboard, TRUST ME! They're alot, but the questions on the tests are exactly the same! Very straight-forward and cool professor, knows his stuff and always found a way to make the class laugh.
Very intelligent, you can learn a lot of interesting examples from a real life. But if you need a good grade, he is probably not for you. Easy C (enough to study notes), REALLY difficult A. Don't wait till the last day, you will need to study every single word from the book. The average grade in class was B-, he said "I'm surprised you did so well"
Cool guy, really interesting lectures [when he's there]. work load was kind of a lot if you want to do better than a C. i outlined the chapters then modified it with lecture notes and studied that to get A's on my exams.
he makes funny jokes, you might even think that he does not take class seriously. a lot of material to cover, read the book and do the study guide problem, it will help. exams are multiple choice and they are mostly on the stuff in theb book. lectures are a refreshment of what's in the book.
He was very fun and kept the class interesting. He chose great examples which made it easier. I highly recommend him, and I doubt there is one person that will say he is bad. He is GREAT!
Took him in the summer session. Only Midterm + Final. (50% each) and plus u have to do the lab thing (or else ur grade will drop by half) EXTREMLY FUNNY GUY WITH CRYSTAL+CLEAR EXPLAINATION~!!! i didn't do well on the midterm at all, but he boosted up my grade A LOT at the end.(probably i got an A on the final) JUST MEMORIZE THE STUFF & U WILL ROCK!
Great professor. letures fast but gives great examples for you to relate to the material.
professor teachers clearly, mostly from textbook, read it and you should do fine. experiments are completely useless and everyone sleeps in class. get to know the ta's for attendance.
not that easy. try to avoid the 500 kid class!
He rocks. Psychology is not easy and of course you have to study and study. But he is extremely helpful. He's a very nice guy, and funny =)
great professor! makes the material interesting and fun! he is a funny guy! def. recomend..but better for a small class not a huge lecture hall of 500 students. DO THE READINGS it helps. :-)
I am not saying Prof. But PSY1001's organization was very bad, like a mass. After you experience, you will understand.
THIS GUY IS A GOD. HES SO COOL. HE HAS TO BE ONE OF THE BEST TEACHERS I'VE EVER HAD AT BARUCH. HE IS VERY UNDERSTANDING AND WILL WORK WITH HIS STUDENTS. I LOVED HIM. HE HELPED ME SO MUCH I RECONMEND HIM TO ANYONE. HES SO FUNNY IN CLASS YOU ENJOY IT.TAKE HIM IF YOU CAN
Hands down, the best psych professor at Baruch. TAKE HIM!! He made everything interesting, even with a 500-person class.
Pyco is a difficult course but believe me prof albright makes it so intresting that i was always looking forward to his class. put ur effort and A is gurranted. he is so nice..take him..one of the cool prof at baruch
Prof Albright is very useful in trying to grasp psychology. Unfortunately the other teacher wasn't but as long as you copy his notes and talk to him after class, you will be straight. Very funny jokes and he uses everyday concepts to incorporate in the teachings.
Amazing teacher. Very witty, keeps you laughing, but also makes sure you understand the subject.
Albright is a great lecturer, perhaps the best of CUNY. He teach and entertain an entire class of 500 with ease. His explanations are very clear and interesting. No regrets taking him.
GREAT TEACHER. One of the best. Makes everything very clear, and makes the topics interesting and is funny too. Definitely recommend.
Funny+Knowledgeable.Makes classes interesting and memorable.Textbook is a must.Do the reading in advance because exams usually cover 3 to 4 chapters and cramming will not do it.Be on top with the experiments and extra credits online.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED although 500 student class sucks, u don't really get to know the professor.
AMAZING! hes so funny and will definitely keep you engaged! i recommend him to anyone that wants to take psych. there are 4 tests, and theyre pretty hard but the class is very interesting.
excellent professor, great pick over anyone else, he is the dept. chair so he is more knowledgeable, connects with the students extremely well, his teaching style is with the projector so he gives lots of lecture notes, made class fun b/c he shared alot of relative stories, his voice and the way he says things just makes you want to listen
Albright is the man. He makes the class extremely interesting. One can really relate to what he teaches. Great professor to take for intro psy. But, some of the materials for the test might not be cover in class, so make sure to read the book. And no he doesn't curve.
Great teacher. Makes the class fun and enjoyable. He relates the topic so well to the students. And read the book because a lot of the stuff on the test is from the book. Pay attention, you'll be fine.
The tests are combination of class notes and book! Gotta read the book very carefully! Class notes are very important too. Four exams max, and there is a chance for extra credit, don't waste it! Professor likes to make jokes. Definitely is worth taking!
I hated this class, but not the profs. He was more interesting in his lectures. Just didn't like the material/length of class time. 4 tests, rsch requirement, & extra credit available. The TA's are really nice and helpful though!
good teacher, clear,
Ease: 7/10 Helpfulness: 8 Fun of Class: 8 Funniness: 9 Attendance: Taken by aides Work Amount: Four tests, 5 hours of easy experiments. A: Just do well on tests, that's your grade Text: Needed Overall: Fun class when he taught it and not his assitent, very smart prof, very funny, very fair. Take him for sure.
HE IS THE BEST!!!he knows how to teach! He is fun, entertaining, kind, helpful, crystal clear, simply AMAZING, and kind of hot in his own way! He really makes the class interesting. Take good notes and you'll be good. I took him in the summer. Great Prof, the best you'll ever have! =)
I took him for wintersession 08. Had to use textbook, but I just borrowed it from the library. Most of his notes are from the slides, but it helped to reinforce with text. He's REALLY funny, he could do standup. I recommend taking him in winter cuz there is no hw, projects, essays, research, etc. Midterm 100qs, final 70q's. MC/t.f questions
This dude looks like Jerry Springer alot. Besides that, ALbright is the best prof. Ive had so far. He is funny. His lectures arent boring. Reading the book is very important if you wanna pass.
One of the best teachers I ever had. His notes and class lectures are very helpful. He is also very entertaining. Enjoyed the class very much.
Research Crs, PLAs, 4 tests, Extra Credit, Mand. Attendance. Read the textbook. Albright was really funny and entertaining. Make sure you take good notes.
great lecturer, read teh text book!!!!
Great lecturer, provides all the necessary information and is hilarious and interesting. Tests aren't too bad IF you study for them. Reading the book and knowing the vocab words is a must.
Love his class. He is very thorough with the material and really makes you understand it. You definitely need to read the txtbk w/ him, but you could go to the lectures and get alot out w/o going into too much txtbk detail. He writes notes on the projector (they're the key to life in that class). Really knowledgeable and great overall. got A
He is very interesting. The textbook is Psychology Making Connections. he told us that questions will be straightforward and easy. It was not true. You should know every single word in the book. many questions are deceiving. also, he asked on test what he promised he will not ask. Loves mean jokes, will tell them all the time
Great Professor. Very clear. Try to read the chapter before class starts. Assigned seating. Tests all multiple choice. Study for exams. You need to know all vocabulary in bold in textbook. Need brand new textbook because you need the code. Cannot not buy used. Overall great class
Albright does look like a cross between Jerry Springer and a teddy bear. I took this class during the winter and it is the only 3 hr class that I have ever taken without falling asleep. Very interesting guy, take him if you can!
Prof. is very smart. Has lots of stories related (and sometimes unrelated, but still cool) to the subject of psychology. He always volunteers questions from the class. He keeps his students engaged and encourages discussions. Take him!!!
Very good! I recommend this class. I must warn you though, if you want to get a good grade in this class, you SHOULD read the book and study for it. This class covers the whole book and exams can be difficult if you don't study. 4 exams, 5 hrs of lab, extra credit, online study. Lot of stuff to cover. overall, fun and interesting.
Great teacher. Very helpful. Must go to class or look at textbook. In-class is more helpful though. He tells you all that you need
Amazing professor. Very funny and he gets through a lot of material in an interesting way. This class made me interested in psychology.
Awesome guy! Keeps class interesting and he's funny! His exams are a bit harder than the other professor he teaches with... but you'll do fine if you paid attention in class and read the textbook! :)
Pretty good professor. Explains material well and even brings humor to a class of 500. 4 exams that are pretty tricky, but if you study you should do fairly well.
Very fun teacher. Jokes are good. Gets class hyped. Teaches in a fun way. Tests are bit hard but that's psyhchology. A lot of terms to remember.
He was only there half the time and it is not an easy A. You have to study your butt off to get a good grade in the class. I suggest to do the extra credit! That will boost your grade up. Just glad I got this class over with with an A-. I don't get the hype about Albright. He's really not the best professor ever. I've had better.
Albright is an awesome professor. He made the class fun and interesting. It was a shame he wasn't there for the whole semester but when he was, class was fun. exams are tough, so study. Its psychology, so not an easy A. I had to work hard for my A.
Great Professor, and one that gives extra credit + a curve on each exam. The class is fun and one that you will be paying attention to the entire time. You learn lot of relevant information!
Coolest and funniest professor in Baruch..makes the class very interesting..for the summer session only a midterm and final and still taking the class but seems like its going to be an easy A but have read the textbook which is important and go over notes
BEST PROFESSOR!! Must take class
Gives crazy long tests. Never uses the book but a few days before the test tells you to study most of it. Curses all the time.
nice guy but kind kind of confusing. Very long test and never use text book, however you gotta buy it for test. Overally, not that easy class, you need to work.
I had Prof.Albright & Prof. Sitt 2 semesters ago. Prof. Albright is the best professor ever. Everytime we had him teach, I would ace the test because his teaching technique covers everything. Everything he talks about and writes will be in the test. My minor is in psychology because he was such a great prof. I regret that he only teaches Psy1001.
Class is overrated.2 prof teach with dif styles.Class is unorganized so u have to work hard. But curved a lot for 2nd test.U better ask for whats going to be on test frequently, otherwise there will be alot to study b4 test. Do the extra credit it will help u. Class is full of inmature freshmen who dont really care about study...
I took this class over the summer and it was easy, that's if you study. If you're a lazy student, as most Baruch students are, then drop this course. Just pay attention and copy everything on the board he writes down as it will be on the exam and just carefully read all the definitions and pages he tells you to study. It's as simple as that.

Not a good teacher at all. He seems nice but his tests are to hard and confusing.
Im on track to get A but Im disappointed in this class.Albright is funny n knowledgeable but doesnt help much on the test.Prof J simply is not clear n use too many Youtube to substitute for his teachin.I mean we r here to listen to YOU!Class is more fun than academic.U literally on your own when tests come n you must read textbook.Thats it.
Really overrated.Terribly organized class w/ useless TA's.Bring in some stranger for last class(promising it is a "treat"),turned out to be something totally annoying, useless, and disappointing. I have to say Albright is a knowledgable and funny prof. But students eventually wanta clear path to exam, which he cant provide.
ALbright is really funny and his class is interesting plus there is a big curve. However his tests are kind of confusing. But what I found annoying is that halfway through the semester another professor comes in to teach and this prof is very disorganized and his tests are worded different then Albrights. It made everything unstable and confusing
I averaged 92.27% for the 4 tests yet still got A-.So my tip:Do the extra credit.Class is entertaining but u'll feel confused+worried when tests come,as u r responsible for lots of materials he did NOT cover in class, in addition to stuff he covered in class yet not in textbook. But he'll tell u wat u need to read in textbook 1 class b4 test.ok prof
Thumbs up! Nice, engaging, good lecturer. MUST take notes and read text (it's college, grow up). Lots of material to cover, but it's required, so you'll really have to study for the exams. Go to class, do the extra credit, and don't think you can be lazy. Interesting material. Agree with other poster about "treat" guest speaker - hostile dude.
By far the best professor that I've had at Baruch. I took the winter session with him and even though it was mon-fri for 3 hrs each it, he made the class very interesting. The tests aren't hard at all, It basically requires knowledge from the lectures and parts of the text. I recommend taking this class with prof Albright, he is a knowledgeable man who uses clear and interesting examples to portray what he's teaching.
Took him over the winter - one midterm, one final 50/50. One of the most memorable classes I've taken thus far. He's extremely funny and entertaining and truly loves what he teaches. In return, I was able to learn a lot and it really sparked my interest in psychology. Great guy. You'll be lucky to have him!
Good teacher explains the subject very well but his assistants are horrible, they have NO CONSIDERATION and they are ONLY INTO THEMSELVES!!If you come to class every day and dont do the extra credit you will LOSE POINTS better yet you wont get any points at ALL! my test average was 80.76 i was never absent i did 3 credits of the studies i got a C-
Excellent Professor & lecturer. Albright really breaks down Psychology with excellent real world examples and personal experiences. He will keep you engaged throughout the class. 4 exams, all multiple choice.. no essays, now hw's.. just do the discussion board q's and you will receive +5 on your final grade for the semester. Highly recommended!
He really knows his stuff however, class size is just too overwhelming for him. The Student Aides are useless. It is almost near impossible to talk to him after class, either the line is too long or he runs out the room before you can get a chance to reach him. Keeps the class interested however, tests are ridiculous as well as blackboard questions
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
Just like some other requirement course, it is a huge class. But Albright is very funny, and keep you focus and listen to him in class. Just copy his notes in class, read the book once. Study his notes nicely, guarantee an A
this is a great prof. def take him. he gives great examples and makes the material fun. he offers xtra credit but you can only receive it if you are absent less than 4 times. there is some online work but it is not hard at all.
I absolutely enjoyed every second of this class. All you have to do is voice record his notes nd type them wen yu get home. Its four exams .. With Chances for extra credit .. An A is definitely attainable. Hes also pretty funny
Highly recommended! Makes the material interesting, very funny!
Yea, he is funny, but lack of responsibility. everything he pass to his assistant. He give out wrong syllabus. It said did 7/12 Discussion Board Question then get the extra credit. He changed his mind without change the syllabus and Grade Calculator. His assistant, wrong attendence. 3 lates count me 3 absences. S-U-C-K-S
The best! Loves his students, loves the topic. You will learn awesome stuff. The tests are hard but if you study and take good notes you'll do okay. Gives plenty of opportunity for extra credit. My favorite professor at Baruch so far!
Great professor....Take him!
I cannot believe such a good professor existed in the world. He makes you want to take psychology as your minor or even major. He is very funny, knowledgable. Exams are in MC and non cumulative and most of it are straight forward. With 10 pt extra credit. You couldnt miss the A unless your are very lazy
Extremely easy and fun professor. It was a great class and i got an A in it without a lot of effort at all, i read the textbook the day before for 2 exams, spent half an hour per chapter and i got an easy A, so much extra credit you do not need to put in too much effort. It was a fun class, he is a funny guy and keeps class going. Textbook required
He is a great teacher and sets you up for success. Listen to his lectures- they are very interesting and then read the keywords in the tectbook a couple times and you're all set!
Best teacher ever. He is funny, interesting, etc. He gives us so many chances to better our grade. Tons of extra credit for our own benefit. Doing the extra credit helps us learn the topic even better. He is a must take teacher for psych and getting a spot in his class is hard enough because everyone is fighting to get a seat!
Very intelligent man, knows what he is talking about. There is extra credit points, 10 overall. However, his exams tend to be a bit tricky, even if you study hard, you will still find the exam overall a bit difficult. Textbook is a must and must take notes.
prof albright is an example of how professors and teachers should be. he is passionate about teaching, and makes the subject interesting. i had no interest in psychology. still don't but i learned a LOT from this professor. great professor, amazing teacher.
Best professor ive ever had at this college. very intelligent man who knows how to keep the class interested. used great examples, and freqently interacted with the class. very nice and answers questions that students may have. exams are fair, and if you study the notes and read the textbook you'll do fine. great professor and great class.
one of the best and easy going professors at baruch! class was 3 hours long but it flew by cuz his classes were so interesting and fun! must take!
Best professor around! Intelligent, witty, immense knowledge, great stories, makes even the most abstract ideas/definitions understandable. Take notes in class. Do the online learning program & easy A!
Best professor I've ever had. He made every class interesting and he is absolutely hysterical. No homework, 4 tests, which determine your great. He is a must-take.
such a great teacher, take him! 4 tests, online homework & 5% extra credit. keeps the class very entertained and is crystal clear about everything. never a boring day.
Really funny and interesting which really helps you remember information. Takes a good amount of work but if your willing to do the work you'll be fine. Be sure to take notes in class some of the test questions are from the notes and not in the book.
This guy is probably THE BEST professor I had at Baruch so far. He is funny, very interesting, and the classes are always fun. He is always willing to help and is always making sure everyone understands everything. Show up to class and take notes, and you will be good! TAKE HIM!!!!
Albright is an amazing professor! He makes every topic interesting and and will try his best to explain it thoroughly if you don't understand. He's also extremely funny.. I recommend him to everyone!!
The man. Any thing he writes that becomes your notes, are all on the tests. He's very clear, and loves to make jokes. One of my favorites
Amazing! Super interesting and super clear. He's so funny and definitely one of the best professors I've ever had!
Great professor to take over the winter like I did. Chips down the material and the tests are everything he teaches. Recommend to take him.
He is a Great professor and he has a wonderful "pedagogy" but you have to be a student which means you should be "interested in learning". As long you follow up you will get there with an A or B
Professor Albright is the best! His lectures are AWESOME. His lectures were super interesting and very engaging. Wish I was a psych major so I could take more of his classes. Tests are hard and the TA's are awful. Albright however is awesome :)
He was a great professor and even though it was in a big lecture hall, I feel that he provides us with great details. The tests aren't hard as long as you keep up with his notes and textbook lessons. He gave us 4 tests and a optional final. The thing that messed me up was 5 hours of mandatory lab tests.
He is a really good professor, he can teach but sometimes the topic tends to be really boring. His exams are really from his notes and textbook.
Very interesting class, he teachers in a very funny and interesting way. No matter which chapter it is, he always makes it funny. There are some chapters that he doesn't teach then it got boring. Most important thing is do the homework, study textbook for 4 exams and do the research requirement. There are extra credit.
BEST PROFESSOR I EVER HAD!!! TAKE HIM!! IF ONLY THERE WERE MORE PROFESSORS LIKE THIS MAN
BEST professor for psy!! If u think psy is boring, Albright will prove that ur wrong! His class is very interesting! however, u need to study in order to get an A. He's a very nice grader. he gave a big curve the end of the semester. a MUST take!!!!
Oh god best prof ever!!!! He makes you love PSY and can't wait to go to class! And his TA are also very funny! 100% painless course!! The exam is not hard as long as you study.Just got some discussion board problems and studies to do. Pretty strict w/ attendance.
Take! He's awesome. So helpful so understanding. Teaches as if its one on one and there aren't 500 other students in the class. you cannot fail if you study. He makes psych so easy.
Great professor. very clear. you need to buy the new book for the class code to do online hw but hes a great professor for a lecture class.
interesting class, 4 Exam, not so easy..500big class.recomended. many DBQs on line, which you have to take all then can get 5extra points
TAKE HIM!!!! I LOVE THIS GUY!!!
This is one of my first professors is US. I found the class very interesting and exiting. He is a very passionate about the subject. I had a B grade but I could have better if I would be a native speaker. A lot of homework. I reccomended him to one of my friends, and to you too if you need knowlege in psychology.
This man is the greatest professor to walk the face of the earth, and humorous to make the class really enjoyable, you'll feel like watch stand-up comedy while learning
Very interesting class. Give great examples. Not much of home work apart from extra credit. 4 exams of 25% each. His exams are 80 % from lecture notes. Rest from text book. He tells which part to leave from text. Not as difficult as other professors. Recommended:)
He is one of the best professors I've ever met at Baruch. Class is really straightforward. You must clearly know every single information in your note for good grade. you will have 4 test each of which counts 25% of total grade. Webwork is very interesting. If you do poorly on the test, you can get 5% extra credit from web work.
Best professor at Baruch, i dont know how many times ive read it, but yes HE IS THE BEST professor ive had so far at Baruch! TAKE HIM TAKE HIM TAKE HIM..you WILL learn something..hes the reason im minoring in psychology. Memorize definitions in book and notes and guaranteed an A
Amazing professor. Lectures are engaging and very interesting. I hated Psychology in HS and I was pleasantly surprised by this class. The classes that aren't lectured by him are sub par, so be aware of that. Managed to get a 99.3% (with extra credit), but I studied hard. Highly recommended.
He is so funny!! i love going to pscyhology class!! if u study the material you'll get an A!! best professor!!!! very interesting class!!!!!!
He is the best Psychology professor I ever had. If you read the text book, pay attention in class, do all DBQ and participate all the 5 credit surveys, you will get an A. Take him.
Yes, it's true. If you study hard and do the extra credit, an A is yours.
What can I say apart that he's one of the best professors at Baruch College. His lectures are very interesting and a lots of fun. Just take him, won't regret :)
A midterm and a final, both 50%. Attendance not mandatory b/c u can get someone to sign u in. But, I rather not because he teaches very well in class. A few jokes here and there. Gave us a bunch of real-life experiences/events. Must do well on both exams for an A since each is 50%. No HW. Gave us extra credits. Overall, he is undoubtedly the best.
absolutely the best professor i have ever had. He is very helpful and clear, his lectures are fun. i looked forward to his class everyday but you must do your part and read the textbook if you really want an A.
A semester of this class and you are a psychotherapist! Yea! he is that good!
Albright is the man, if you want a chill teacher that knows what he's talking about then take him. His class is hard but if you do everything he asks then you will do fine. 4 exams, 11 DBQs, and 14 online assignments. They help you a lot with your exams. Those exams are hard and you do need to study, but listen in class, take notes, show up..ur set
Hilarious & wise!Gives great notes and is so insightful. Loved psych before class and loved it more after!Textbook super helpful, online learnsmart asmnts are helpful, do them before each test.4 tests worth 85% of grade (super easy as long as you study).Attendance mandatory(why wouldn't u show up 2 class) Made waiting 2 hrs twice a week worth it!
One of the great professor. AMAZING lecturer and makes the class interesting. Makes psychology very exciting and fun to learn. HW is online, very easy. Tests are tough but if you study and read the textbook they will be no problem. Him and his TA are generous enough to offer extra credit points. so do them! highly recommended!!!
The Most amazing professor at Baruch, super smart and amazing. You are not stuck looking at powerpoint slides all day. Attendance is super mandatory, but extra points towards your grade if you have less then 4 abs. I really enjoyed this class and got an A. No paper, but 4 exams, no curves.
Too much HW. Too much memorizing.Loved the class but it is waay too much. Unless you have no life besides college. Then you may want to stay away.
This is one of the best professors! He knows how to teach in a way that everybody would understand! I have learned a lot!
really helpful and clear. Still can't believe I got A for the class. It requires alot of textbook reading for exams. Extra credit 5pts to boost up your grade. Great professor! Recommend!
Great Teacher. Interesting Lectures
albright is funny !!!!!!! great lectures..take him!!
very funny, nice guy. gives two exams, so just study! otherwise, very enjoyable professor and class to take.
He's funny. He likes everyone. With a little bit of effort, and some flash cards, this is an easy "A". And, you will learn a lot of interesting things. Careful, you might even change your major because of him.
Definitely one of the best professors out there. Extremely funny and keeps class interesting. I enjoyed this class very much. The LSA's are not hard to do, and if you get the research done within the first 60 days you're set.
Albright was amazing. The first half of the class sucked but once he started teaching it, it became my favorite class of the semester. He made the class so interesting and was super funny. It seems like a lot of info to retain for an intro class. Wish it were structured differently.
Overall, the class was interesting. It's always good to pay attention and take notes in class, but he tells you exactly what is going to be on the exams and final. Study throughout the course and you'll be fine.
Great professor - excellent lecturer and interesting subject. He's not trying to trip you up, but rather just trying to get you to learn the material well. If you study the terms, you'll get an A. Also, it's worth staying after for his review before tests - he gives a lot of hints as to what will be asked.
Prof. has a humor and makes the class interesting. If you do the online assignments and extra credits, an A is inevitable. I got an A. Recommend to take the class.
Overrated, and his handwriting is appalling. While he's amusing at times, he just panders to the immaturity of your average freshman student.
He is a very nice guy. He is interested in his students and wanted to have discussions despite the class size. It was a summer course, so it was very compressed, but he was always willing to talk after class.
Not a bad teacher, but not the best. Spent much of the latter half of the semester counseling (parental, health, etc) instead of actually teaching.
Albright made psychology really interesting. He knows his stuff; doesn't have powerpoints or anything. Just writes things that come from his head. He was also very funny and keeps a class of 500+ students entertained.
Hands down the best professor I've had my entire life. I would take this class all over again because of him. If you have a chance take him!!!
Albright's communicates concepts clearly. What could have been 2 hours of boring lectures he turns into engaging fun. A delightful introduction into the field of psychology.
He is not that good. Does not use Power Points and horrible hand writing. Go very fast over materials, just joke and try to make fun . Not an easy A class. Tons of things cover in this introduction course. Be careful don't believe what they say. He will make your GPA goes down. 5 hours for research and lots of DBQ on blackboard. Not a good teacher.
Awesome professor. Tests are simple if you pay attention to the lectures and read the textbook. He's incredibly funny and had me cracking up for most of the lecture. Take him!!
Awesome Professor, makes the content very easy. The people that complain just didn't put the work in. I'm a B average student but I got an A in his class. You have to pay attention constantly though. Fun stuff though I had a blast!
Took it this winter session and it was well worth my time and effort. Professor Albright is awesome! If you attend all his lectures and pay attention to them you will do great while learning a lot. Ignore any negative comments because he keeps the materials very interesting and they flow flawlessly. No second thought, take him A+ to Professor A.
overall the class was fun. make sure you take good notes and know the def. of the terms.
hands down best professor everrrrr!!!!
Took this class over the winter and he is AMAZING! He engages the class and makes the material very interesting, and he is super funny. No homework or research had to be done because it was the winter session. Exams are straightforward if you study hard. Professor Albright is the man!
He's amazing. Funny, patient and interesting. He makes theoretical topics very interesting and easy to remember. He reinforces my initial decision to minor in psychology. He also told practical stories during class and gave great advice.Study hard, know the terms and concepts that he covers and you'll be fine. Definitely take him.
Glenny boy is awesome! Best professor ever!
He gives every opportunity to succeed. He gives so much extra credit and gives personal individual lessons to help people. He not only makes the topic interesting, but he adds a comedic edge that everyone who takes it enjoys his class thoroughly. His tests are straight to the point, no trick questions. He tries to let everyone succeed. Great person
Great Professor. Great lectures. Gives many extra credit opportunities and wants everyone to do well. Really interested in Psych after taking his class. Definitely take class with him if you can. One of my favorite professors of all time.
Professor Albright is a really good dude. But one of his exams was incredibly difficult and clearly had material that we were not responsible for on it. Be warned that this is a 4 credit course and there is a lot of material to study prior to each exam. 5 hours of psychological research is mandatory as well.
Doctor Albright is the best professor at Baruch. The course challenged me intellectually and the professor inspired me a lot! Best at Baruch!
very helpful !! highly recommend his course :)
Amazing professor !!! Very helpful to his students! Enjoyable lectures! Be prepare to read.
Amazing professor. Love what he does! You'll learn a lot with him. Recommended!
FANTASTIC PROFESSOR. Hilarious, tells great stories, is clear in what he's saying and makes everything understandable. Tests are never too hard but you need to devote a good amount of time studying. Questions from tests are usually taken straight from the notes so take good notes. Doesn't care if you slack off and go on your phone or talk, etc.
Definitely take him!! it's not an "easy A" bc you really do need to study but his class is so engaging, and the material is so interesting. he's a great professor, and you can tell he wants his students to pass -- there's a lot of extra cred. he and natalia are great!! :D
Freshman at Baruch, but this was one of my favorite classes and this is one of my favorite professors. He really knows what hes talking about and his approach to the material is easy to understand. The lectures being full of jokes makes the class pass by rather quickly and the information easy to comprehend.
Prof Albright is a great guy. He does a great job for teaching a lecture with 300+ students. Not many teachers can make long lectures at the end of the day interesting, but he finds a way. Very funny, but can drone on sometimes. I got a low grade, but only because I didn't study well. Tests can be tricky. Take him if you need a filler class.
Hilarious and totally chill prof. Makes the class enjoyable and has you laughing the whole time. However, don't be fooled into thinking it's all fun and games! Psych is still a super technical subject and you'll need to read and study a lot. Tests are straightforward, he tells you exactly what to study and the research component is fun. Take him!
Professor Albright is one of those professor that's truly inspirational. He loves what he teach and you can't but help feel the same way. Exams are challenging, but he gives extra credit. Overall, take him you won't regret it.
Unbelievable Professor!! Class is really long, but if you get notes, and study textbook well the 4 tests will be very easy for you. Easy DBQ's are randomly posted for extra credit, and they take no more than 10 minutes to do. You are also required to do 5 hours of research studies, which really aren't bad, and some of them you can even do online.
he is great! his classes r very fun and easy to understand. he does teach u sth. and i mean, if u study hard before the exam u will get A! also, he has around 7% extra credit! isn't it amazing!
There's no homework, only 4 tests and the final isn't cumulative. His class is hilarious and he gives you so many extra credit opportunities that add up to 7 points on your final grade. The only problem is that he doesn't go over everything in lecture and you have teach yourself from the textbook but the tests are easy. Take his class!
Great professor who truly has a passion for psychology. Explains everything very clearly. Of course, you still need to read the textbook clearly to do well on the midterm and final. But he goes over what topics you need and don't need for the tests. Wish all my professors were so enthusiastic and inspiring like him
The lecture is awesome!! But the test you really need to study especially the textbook.
dont take this prof you will not get a good gpa
First psychology class I've taken, best class I've taken.
Overall great professor. His class is hilarious and keeps the students engaged. However, still have to study hard to get an A
Take his class at summer. His lecture is very interesting and a little heavy. Need to read and take notes. Both on the exams. 1 mid , 1 final. notes and textbook on the exam are half and half. You must take notes and read textbook or you will not get an A. Lectures are 70% different from textbook. recommend him if you are not a lazy person. Nice!
One of my favorite professors, ever! His exams aren't easy but the material is so important for you to know. I took his grief and trauma class as a grad student, and can honestly say that some of his classes were the most powerful classes I've had the pleasure of being a part of. He's a highly intelligent and genuine clinician and teacher.
If you are good at simply memorizing, take him. He really keeps the class engaged by making jokes, and it's his jokes that keeps us attend to his lectures, not the material. His exams purely focuses on memorization from his lectures and textbook, so no critical thinking. I, for one ,cannot endure the overwhelming boredom of memorizing EVERYTHING.
He is an outstanding teacher. I would recommend him to anyone, he give you a lot of extra credit. His tests are moderately hard. if you don't study you will fail. You have to work hard in this class but the professor is amazing. explains things clearly and makes things so much easier to understand. One of the best professors in school.
This class is not easy, don't assume that because it is psychology that it will be a cakewalk! Albright, however, is an outstanding lecturer and truly knows how to keep the room engaged - to the point that you actually WANT to go to this class. Just be aware of the exams - more difficult than they sound - be sure you study the textbook and notes.
Great professor, except you have to pay attention when you're in class. You really have to study for his test. The textbook really helps, but most importantly SHOW UP because you'll be lost the next day.
Funny professor, always makes jokes and makes students laugh. Lectures are important because lectures are in the tests. 4 tests (non-cumulative); 50 MC; information is definitely from the textbook. Always a review for the test. Some DBQs you should absolutely do. Gives a lot of extra credit. 5 credits/hours of research on SONA must be done too.
Great professor, always joking around in lectures, but at the same time it's relevant to what he's teaching. His lectures are basically the test and he does a review before each test and they are non-cumulative. The textbook helps when studying. 3 class tests and a final, no midterm. Gives a lot of extra credit and it's really easy.
Professor Albright makes his class memorable with his jokes, but also makes intro to psychology an easy class by providing good examples and explanations.
Great professor and very funny does a good job at explaining material and gives reviews but you have to read the textbook
Overall, great and funny professor! He makes the lectures bearable with his jokes. Exams include some of his side comments mentioned in class. Your final grade is based on four multiple choice exams mainly based on notes, textbook is helpful for clarification.
So far, he's probably the best professor I've ever had. He's a great guy that definitely knows what he's teaching. I took him during the summer and midterm and final was both 50%. The chapter questions on connect was extra credit and if he see's you have good attendance, that's a little more extra credit as well. Overall, he was awesome.
The best professor I've taken so far. He's funny and he gives notes. For this class you will need to take good note (he writes on the board) and read the textbook. I took the summer class and had 1 midterm and 1 final. He went over what types of questions to expect for the midterm and final. It will be easy if you take notes and read
Most engaging lecturer I've ever had. You can only pass his class if you take good notes. Although the textbook is useful and provides insight to help you on an exam, ultimately his in -class lecture notes will help you ace his tests.
he is a really cool professor. Very funny. keep your attendance high enough, tests were easy. you do have to read the $112 dollar textbook that you have to buy.
Do not take this class, its graded by 4 tests. Nothing else is averaged in, it is the grade alone.
His lectures are good and do not bore you to death like other professors. that said his grading system is 4 tests. 25% each. if you don't study hard for each one you'll get a low grade in the class. he also gives an extra credit, but that's it.
Amazing professor, interesting lecture, 4 exams all semester, blackboard posts, connect questions, extra credit. Extremely nice, makes everything easy to understand. Checks attendance once in a while, just let someone else sign for you.
Must take professor! There are 4 tests and each are worth 25%. Connect isn't mandatory. All his tests are straightforward as long as you go to class and take notes. The textbook will help as well. If you make yourself a study sheet and review it a couple of times, you should have no problems. He makes the class interesting with his sense of humor.
do the extra credit, even if you think you don't need. boosts your grade a lot
Professor Albright does not actually teach most of the material in class, although his lectures are entertaining. Even if you are a self-learner, his exams are worded strangely and it will throw you off. Apparently "a few" secs means 1-2 secs as per one of the exam questions. Expect to bust your butt for his exams and come out with a high 70.
Wonderful professor but the test has very specific questions which can be tricky. However, his lectures are very interesting. Overall a fun class but very difficult
The tests are fairly tricky and hard, you can study and still do badly. The 112 dollar textbook helps, but make sure to do the Cengage homework as the semester goes along it helps. This class is not an easy A you have to work hard, the professor makes the class engaging, take notes a lot of them because what he reviews will be on the test.
Best professor ever, he made me want to change my major to Psych. His tests are very hard if you don't study!! Attendance matters even if your class has over 200 students. He gives 5 points extra credit at the end of the semester if you complete the online Blackboard questions, volunteer surveys, and connect questions. Highly recommend.
Albright is very hilarious in class. I took it for winter session. 50% on midterm and 50% on final. The tests are not hard if you pay attention to his lecture, take notes and review them before tests. He does reviews before test, which is not very informative for me, but it's ok. Got 5 extra credit on Connect and there was no class-wide curve.
He's okay and good. Be careful if you take him for a short semester like winter because you must kill the midterm and final to get a good grade since it's 50% worth each to your final grade and that's it with 5 extra points if you do the connect. It was intense and got a sucky grade cause I didn't do so well on the midterm so bewere but he's okay
Easily the best professor I've had at Baruch. I took this class in the winter, so it was very fast paced but if you pay close attention to the lectures and do the online homework you're sure to do well.
The best professor I had! His lectures are engaging and the material is interesting. Also, the online homeworks were extra credit. (Took this class in the winter)
I regret not taking him during a regular semester. He's funny, smart and treats students with respect. His tests are based heavily on in-class notes but he will indicate what will be on the test from the textbook. I took him during the summer: final grade is 50 from midterm and 50 from the final. Easy A/B if you show up, take notes and light study.
Dr. Albright is by far one of the most intelligent, caring, and respectful professors I've had at Baruch thus far. Truly a brilliant man. He breaks down the material in a way that's understandable and enjoyable; also, he really engages the class and is HILARIOUS. He's accessible outside of class and cares for his students. Best. Class. Ever.
I took this class over the summer session. Grades are based 50% midterm and 50% final. If you take notes during lectures and study session before every exam, it's an easy A. I didn't even buy the textbook.
Had I taken Dr. Albright during freshman or sophmore year, I def would had minored in Psych. Unfortunately I took him in the summer (senior year). Even if you hate psychology, but need a random course, take him! His lectures are educational and fun! I can't think of a single (realistic) reason why anyone shouldn't take him.
Excellent professor, however, his tests are extremely hard. Study and do practice problems. This is a class you do not want to study overnight for. You can make up his one of his three exams if you didn't do well. He gives extra credit, take advantage of that, it'll boost your grade up by a good amount.
He is super laid back. Doesn't complain about attendance or phone usage. Class is super straightforward just a midterm & final but their not bad if you study. Gives extra credit opportunity at the end. Really nice guy, would highly recommend.
He's a great professor, he makes the class fun and enjoyable and you learn a lot. Just take notes (he literally writes down what you need to know and shows it on a projector). He gives a review a few days before a test, so just make a study guide based on your notes and textbook and you'll be fine. Do Connect and you'll get extra credit.
He's hilarious, chilled and very knowledgable. Learned lots of great things that are practical in the real world. There's older versions of free textbook out there. he asked use for pepper on rate my professor lol
Absolutely one of the best professors ever. Took him for a winter class and he was hilarious. The lectures are extremely engaging and you won't be bored. Class was 50/50 midterm/final as it was a winter class but if you take some notes and practice on the Connect you will get a good grade. He gives you a letter grade boost if you do the extra cred.
He's the BEST. His teaching method is amazing and he explains everything really well and he gives you great examples that you can associate with the topic which helps you remember the topics better. His grading criteria is very clear and he really wants to help the students to learn. You will never regret taking his class. He's AMAZING.
his lectures is amazing: engaging, practical, and interesting.
His lecture is interesting and makes you want to learn more. Four tests in total and give extra credits. I strongly recommend this class to everyone.
He is interesting to listen to. Gives real life examples of the material. I would take him again! I took his class a year ago, and his ratings were 3.5 . I was afraid he was gonna be useless as a lecturer, but he wasn't. I am glad that his ratings are up, it is fair.
He has to be one of my favorite professors at Baruch, hands down. He is such an amazing professor and on top of that, he is extremely caring. He has 4 exams and plenty of extra credit options, so make sure to take advantage of that. His lectures are fun, I'm not a PSY major but I still understood everything he taught in class. Trust me, take him!
Easily a top 5 professor at Baruch. If you get the chance take Albright. Hands down the most engaging, clever, and entertaining professor I've ever had.
Lol, This class is so hard:( Why did I take him? His questions are solely based on lectures and so much to study. If you are not good at memorizing, not a psychology major, not good at science, you are going to have trouble in his class. This is not even my major class, I feel like I am going to fail:( I would avoid psychology in general.
TAKE THIS CLASS!! The class is very engaging, by far best professor and best class I have had all semester. You need to study and read the textbook, otherwise you might have a harder time. other than exams being a bit challenging the course was very interesting. recommend 10/10
He is a great teacher. He gets you interested and involved in the topic. He is hilarious and obviously knows everything he discusses in great detail. HOWEVER, his tests are absolutely impossible. I have gone into a test feeling like I was going to get a 100, left thinking I'd get a 95, and actually got a 70. This happened to most people I know.
Class is too hard even though it is not required. Graded on 4 exams 25% ea, SONA and attendance. Lecture consists of rapid note taking. He makes lectures interesting by incorporating examples. Read textbook, mainly memorizing but even so, exams are tricky so it's hard to get higher than a 85. No curve so if you fail exam, you should probably drop.
He's an amazing professor, but his class requires a lot of memorization. His lectures are fun and entertaining, but your grades are depended on 4 exam grades and 5 credits of SONA. If you're not good with memorization or exams, I would recommend you to take a different professor.
Professor Albright's lectures are interesting and easy to understand. People who said this class is difficult are the ones who don't put in the work. You can easily get an A if you pay attention in class and take good notes and try to understand the material when you are studying. This shouldn't be a difficult class.
I like Prof. Albright as a person and he is very funny and charismatic. However, I did all the textbook questions, read the textbook, went to class, and review sessions but still got a C+. The lecture notes he gave were bad and you have to have amazing memorization or you'll do bad. He focuses on minor facts to quiz on and class discussions.
Lectures are always enjoyable. Prof. is hilarious and finds ways to make the class interesting. Grades are based on a couple of tests given throughout the semester and extra credit assignments from blackboard and the textbook.
By far the best teacher I've ever had, and has to be the best professor here. The way he teaches makes you so interested in the topic and he trends to relate with a funny story or comment frequently. He gives reviews for every test and there's always extra credit options. A truly stand-up guy; if you can take him DO IT.
Take halfway decent notes, and you'll pass with an easy A. His tests use the exact wording he uses in his lectures, so studying for the midterm and final isn't that hard. If you find this class hard, BOY, are you are in for some BIG surprises later in life...
Amazing professor. Highly recommend. If you want to do well you'll have to pay attention during the lectures and read the textbook.
Professor Albright during lectures is charismatic and funny. I enjoyed going to his class and looked forward to learning. However, his exams could get a bit tricky with the wording and sometimes the questions catch you off guard, even with the excessive studying I did for the class beforehand. Overall good professor but be ready to study!
Tests were DIFFICULT but there are opportunities for extra credit. Study in depth from the textbook.
This professor is the best and funny as well. I'm taking him online for the Summer 2020 and all we have to do for his class is one midterm and a final. Both the exam are online due to Covid 19. He offer us extra credit to boost our grades up which are Connect, Discussion Board, and a 3-5 page essay.
Prof Albright is genuinely sweet man who you can tell really enjoys teaching. Would for sure take again.
I'm shocked by the glowing reviews. He's nice and understanding, but his lectures were very boring and common sense. Maybe it's because I knew a lot about psychology, but this felt like a high school-level class. There were barely any assignments. He's also quite old-fashioned in that he thinks everyone wants to get married and have kids.
Prof Glenn is a helpful professor, great lecturer, and is hilarious.
Professor Albright is absolutely awesome. His classes are mainly lecture based but he does a good job at explaining the content especially in an online environment. He has cute dogs and showed them to us at the end of the semester. His tests are straight forward if you studied the content well. He recommends a textbook but it is not necessary.
He was consistently condescending and ineffective during his lectures. He didn't seem to have a handle on online teaching and would ask very simple questions. It was a really boring class in a fact heavy subject. I ended up feeling like I taught myself the class through reading the textbook. Hard to reach outside of class.
If you pay attention during his lectures you'll be fine. He makes a lot of jokes in his class and he was pleasant to have. Just make sure you study before his test because it's lecture heavy and slides heavy!
Such an amazing professor. I've enjoyed his lectures because not only was it interesting, he would joke around from time to time and actually have a conversation with his students. Zero homework and offers a lot of extra credit. Definitely take him.
This is a solid choice for psych. 4 tests, worth 25% each. Pay attention in the lectures, read the book and you will do fine. Lots of extra credit opportunities. Do all the connect hws, discussion boards, and 2 extra sona credits and that's easy 8 points added to your final grade. Really not a hard class and the professor is nice.
Professor Albright is amazing at what he does. The professor makes the course work extremely interesting and uses his own examples to help teach the class (very engaging for a class with 100+ people). However, midterms are pretty hard and require more studying than one would expect but there are tons of opportunities for extra credit!!
Great professor. His lectures were interesting.
Professor Albright is one of the best professors at Baruch, he really knows a lot and he's helpful. This class is kind of hard since there's many information you need to know for exams, they are actually hard but you have to study a lot. Professor 10/10 he's really good.
I love this professor!! He is very considerate. He uses personal experiences that relate to the lectures, which makes learning and understanding easier. I think he's pretty funny too. Not much homework; grading is based on three exams, extra credit, and SONA, which are surveys about your personal life. I highly recommend this professor!!
Boring lectures, extremely difficult exams that are meant to get you to drop before he announces his curves later in the semester.
The grade comes 100% from exams. The exams are 50 questions each and multiple choice. The tests are more difficult than you think. Most of the questions come from the lecture and a few text book things but honestly you don't need to purchase the textbook to pass. 6 extra credit points given by doing all the connect chapters/ discussion boards.
Graded by 4 tests, each one has 50 multiple-choice questions. They weren't tough but you have to study your notes to get a decent grade. Extra credit can be earned by doing connect questions and discussion boards. He might curve if the class average is low.
Lectures were very fun and straight forward. Whatever he wrote down on the projector was what was on the test. Tests sometimes used topics from the textbook but I used it mostly for extra credit. 4 exams over the course with multiple choice.
Professor Albright is a great Professor. He gives 4 exams worth 100% of your final grade. Each exam is 50 multiple choice questions. They are based off the chapters, lectures and class notes. Otherwise easy going and a fair grader. Extra credit is worth 6 points and you have to complete textbook chapters and discussion board questions.
I love the professor way of teaching and it is engaging, not bored at all. Exams are 50 multiple choices and give 6 points extra credit if you do discussion board, attendance, and book works. He write on a paper when he teach, easy to take notes, and we can use it like a outline to review, it helps a lot for the exams.
A great professor who makes his lectures easy to understand as well as entertaining most of the time. Always makes sure that you are understanding the material. Simply take notes, pay attention, and you will pass his class.
Exam questions are confusing and not enough time is given to complete them. Glenn is a nice professor but the grading system is tough because exams are basically your entire grade. If you do badly on one, you cannot get an A. To get extra credit, you need to do a lot of extra work. Don't take if you are a bad test taker.
Professor Albright is genuinely a great person and teacher. He provides multiple examples for each topic he discusses. He's relatable and understanding. Everything he writes on the board is on the test. He encourages you to read the chapters but not mandatory. No homework, however graded by 3 exams and 1 final exam and a few extra credit.
I loved Professor Albright's classes this semester! He's super knowledgeable and his lectures are interesting. If you are taking his class, know that your grade is 100% exams so take thorough notes during lectures and study a few days before the exam. Also, do all of the discussion questions because you can get 5 pts added to your final average.
Graded by 4 exams (multiple choice) with extra credit by answering discussion boards and attendance. Albright kept the class entertaining and made the class fun. NO HOMEWORK :) Take him for a fun and easy class!
He is very smart. No homework. All grade is based on 4 tests. Final is non cumulative. Tests are based off lectures. If you take notes and know them, you will get 100 on test guaranteed. There is opportunity for extra credit. I liked him a lot.
So great! His lectures are where it's at, you learn everything and more! He is funny and just has such amazing teaching methods. Lots of xtra credit with the Sona, and essays and textbook pdf is given for free! Make sure you do study cuz his exams are not always easy but doable. no homework. TAKE HIM!!! You'll start liking psych.
VERY NICE TEACHER. NO COMPLAINTS. NO HOMEWORK, JUST STUDY FOR LECTURE EXAMS ONCE EVERY MONTH AND A HALF. DO GOOD IN THOSE AND YOU CHILLING. REVIEWS THE TOPIC ONE CLASS BEFORE THE EXAM AND REALLY CARES FOR THE STUDENTS. W TEACHER IN MY OPINION.
Nothing really, funny professor
amazing lectures, makes class very fun and interesting. super engaging which is extremely impressive in a class of 300-something students. grades off exams, they're always abt 50 multiple-choice questions and about 4-5 for a semester. textbook was free online.
be prepared to walk out of there without learning a single thing. i attended every single class for him this semester and still did horrible on his midterm and final exam. extremely confusing questions. also his lectures are extremely confusing, makes weird jokes about sex and children. avoid him.
Amazing and fun professor. Attendance is required and the test will mostly be lecture-heavy. The textbook is only used to reinforce information you don't fully understand. Exams aren't that hard as long as you pay attention and take notes. He makes a lot of jokes and the lectures are interesting.
Amazing and funny professor. 4 tests a semester, offers a lot of extra credit, lectures are really interesting and the text book is free.
Very laid back, and not too much work. His lectures are fun and he explains the subject well.
amazing! best professor at Baruch, please take him.
Really easy exams, just make sure you study over what he covers in class. Test is based on material covered in the class much more than the textbook. Usually there would only be like 1-3/50 questions that were only found in the book per exam. Super funny, enjoyed this professor.
Pretty easy and interesting class, 4 exams and 2 extra credit assignments. He reviews before each exam and goes over everything thats expected so if you show up your good. He also curved all the tests, def take him.
Professor Albright is a nice professor. I really enjoyed his lectures. The tests were easy and I feel like it's an easy way to get an A.
Professor Albright makes psych engaging with his humor and clear lecture material. Exams focus on class notes - just attend, take good notes, and utilize unstuckstudy ai for study prep. Easy A if you put in the work.
Just take the class you won't regret it!! never knew I was interested in Psych until I took this class. Also goes through everything very thoroughly and prepares you for test, all the questions are exactly as he goes over so pay attention and you will get a good grade.
He's a super kind professor, he knows his material well and gives great examples so the class can understand. He knows how to make a class laugh. Lecture heavy but he engages all students. He's so sweet if I could Id take him again.
He honestly great his lectures are entertaining although really try to listen all the exams r easy if u really go listen to him and write down notes
He was pretty easy, his exams r easy if u listen to him during the lectures+notes he is pretty chill lectures were pretty entertaining take his class
He is such a amazing teacher, he only grade you on sona and your 4 tests( all multiple choice, and truth and false), i love to attend his class everyday because he's really funny he use our lesson as a story to tell and it really inspiring
Legendary professor, very funny guy, teaches very well, and is very easy to reach if you have issues with anything. 3 tests and a final, but the final is just another test of 3 units. He explains everything very well and makes everyone laugh about everything. 10/10 will definitely take again if I can. Tests are 50 multiple-choice questions.
Amazing professor! I looked forward to every lecture, especially cause of his funny and corny jokes. He would leave the lectures on cliffhangers, ending class in suspense. A very reasonable grader and really respectful with everyone. No homework either, just exams and a few discussion posts. 10/10 recommended and would take the class again.
Great professor overall, he is lecture heavey but don't be scared, hes really funny and just write down what he writes. His exams are very fair just study the notes and you will pass. deff take him if u wanna learn and pass
He is amazing at explaining all of the concepts and gives great examples to help you understand and makes the class super entertaining. The whole grade is based on exam scores but they are very easy as long as you understand the concepts. He also gives opportunities for extra credit.
Professor Albright is an amazing professor. Very engaging lectures that are easy to follow along with. Note-taking is more important than reading the textbook. He is old, but I would still highly recommend taking his class. 4 quizzes, the final exam is one of them. Offers easy extra credit, such as attending events & participating in research.
