Ahh...Such a wonderful class to take with this professor. He is brilliant and very intelligent. He delivers the material in an interesting way. Also, the take-home is challenging, and the in-class exam is fair. Definetly recommend!!!!

While it's not easy, he lets you know exactly what will be on the exams. Just study the practice tests and you'll do fine with him.

DO NOT come late...he will make a spectacle out of you. Other than that, he's an A, #1 professor, very knowledgeable and really into his profession.

a little weird, but he is really good. 40% on take home exam, and 60% on in class. 3 exams plus final. Take him and u will learn a lot.

His is a really brilliant professor. Wants you to do well. 3 tests and a final. Practice exams are almost indentical of the in class exams.

It's a pleasure to have a professor so involved in his line of work. He cares about students and genuinely wants them to do well, not for a favorable evaluation at the semester's end but for US, the students. Take him, you won't regret it.

What can I say? Miller is the best. Not a class for the average Pace student who comes to class once in a blue moon. If you do not show up, you will not do well. Gives practice tests that are VERY similar to the in class test. Clear and concise.

Statistics. If you're into math then you'll really like this prof. Really makes you think. Never bored in class here. Always bringing in the fundamentals we already should know. Very interactive class. Great.

I am a complete moron when it comes to math and even I was able to comprehend the material. An excellent professor worth every bit his doctoral degree. A must-take.

Excellent,Excellent,Excellent!! Exams are 40% bring home, 60% in class. Even you screw up with the in class exam, he gives you 10pts extra if you re-do all the problems in the exam again. Exams are similar with the review sheet he gives out.

Miller is very understandable, very clear, explains everything thoroughly, doesn't give you any nasty test surprises. Really nice and good sense of humor.

Light work load. Easy tests. Doesn't take time to learn all your names but will give you one on one assistance.

It's a little ridiculous that you have to write a paper in his class, but other than that, hes ALRIGHT. I don't like the fact that if you answer something wrong in class, he gives you these weird looks as if you're stupid! Eh, i wouldn't take him again...

Why are others whining? I studied minimally and got maximal grade. Study the notes, go over the practice test, and get an A like me.

Does everything he can to help, but u have to REALY pay attention & do homework he gives.Tutoring and e-mailing him for questions is a good idea, he IMMEDIATELY responds. VERY nice guy, just a little tough to follow. But do alll your work pay attention, and if your not a math whiz B is max grade.

amazingly easy, the only problem is to really study for his tests and know the material well, as his tests are NOT hard, but are too lengthy, and that's why most other people complain (they're whiners anyways!). believe me, he's super easy, just w/ long tests, but if ur fast, no prob. take him

Overall this professor is extremely good in teaching the subject. Yeah there's a lot of HW, and you have to write a paper, but that's there to help you. Trust me, it helps you a lot. Just make sure you know the material, and really study for the tests! I highly recommend this professor. Trust me.

This is one of the best math professors in the school, and one of my favorites. He explains the work to you if you need help. His tests are easy, the SAME PROBLEMS he gives on the practice test for HW are the SAME PROBLEMS that are on the test. he just changes the numbers. All has an option of doing a paper, to drop lowest test grade. GREAT PROFF.

Good class- The work is not easy, but he is very clear in explanations, and does his best to make everyone understand.His tests are identical to the review - PAY ATTENTION or you will fall behind.I dont like that he hands out papers according to the grades recieved. I was usually in the "A" range, but it makes the people in the "C" range feel bad.

The BEST math professor at Pace. Dr. Miller is clear in his lectures and gives you practice tests that are like the actual test questions. If you do well on the take home part of the test and do the practice test then you'll get an A !!! TAKE HIMMM !!

i'm very up and down with him. at first i thought he was adorable, then hated him after he did not accept my take home, and now, i like him again. he gets so excited when he teaches and i just wanna hug him! but he's also a bit looney. overall, he's pretty great.

Awesome math professor, he is the guy to take for business stats. The material can get confusing but he will gladly help you understand in class, outside of class he is not so helpful. Tests are straight forward. He takes it to heart when students do poorly.

Very good professor!Teaches only what's gonna come out for all tests.He's VERY clear with his teaching.You dont even need the textbook.Grade based on 3 tests,1 final.Gives out homework,which is optional whether or not you do it but very useful in scoring for tests.There's an extra class on top of the 4 hours.Attendance is not compulsry.

If you dont get an A that means ur just a lazy ****. The man is a complete genius. Definately Take

SO SO SO SO SOOOO Easy! If you do bad on final he'll count all the other tests as 80% and the final as 20%, or vice versa. Basically, even if you get like C+, you can get a B+, depending on how choose for him to split the percentages. Absolutely recommend him. Not the most interesting, but not torture either. Easy A!

Pretty simple- just stay awake in class, do the practice tests, and get an A. Looks likes he's having fun and it wasn't too painful for me either.

Great professor! He knows his stuff! You have to attend every class though to keep up with the material. You don't need the book, he gives practice tests that are the same problems on the test. I don't like his take-home tests that drive people crazy. They're extremely hard and you'll need someone in class to work with to get it done.

I thought he was pretty easy. Gives practice tests based on notes and exams are like the practice. Got a decent grade without too much sweat.

Not a bad professor at all, but definitely not easy! Tests are hard and if you want to succeed make sure your studying and practicing a good week and a half ahead! But I really don't know how I got an A in the class. I thought I did soo poorly and I maybe have failed! But yeah definitely DO NOT but the textbook, don't need it at all! I didn't!

Great professor! He loves what he teaches and I've always disliked statistics but I finally understood it in his class. The tests are part take and part in class. Tests aren't super easy but he tries to give you as many points as possible for your work. Fair grader. No textbook. He didn't drag out the class and was always happy!

If you take his course online, I would really reccommend transfering out of it and into his actual class. His notes are extremely unclear and you are going to have to set up an individual appointment for him to clarify. Even though I did get an A it was only because I was also asking him for tutoring help.

The best math professor.He loves what he teaches & he's enthusiasm is contagious. Don’t expect to just plug numbers in a formula. Statistics is much more. U will walk out understanding why this is “the most important course you will take in college” Some tips are: read the lectures,do all HW,attend every class, don't interrupt him during the class.

The only problem I had with him was taking him 8 AM. He's a great math teacher, possibly the best in the department. His tests are not easy, not gonna lie. Study and you'll be fine. It's safe to say I understood everything he taught me. Great teacher! If you want to learn about statistics the right way then absolutely take him.

Professor Miller is one of the best Statistics teachers at Pace. Do not take him if you are not a serious student. He explains very clearly and is very caring. If you can not handle a simple stat class. let's face it ,you do not belong at Pace.

Prof. Miller is a true statistician who teaches knowledge beyond text book. Gives real life example and clear explanation to help understand. Walk into class with a big smile and always there to help you. I understand everything he said and will never forget. Textbook not required. Exams are part take home and part in class. Highly Recommend!

Professor Miller teaches real statistics. He can easily break down the knowledge and give a clear explanation. What he covers in class will also be posted on BB which is definitely a plus when you miss something. His take home tests are somewhat annoying but they actually help you fully understand what he says in class when you finish. Recommend!
