Zabowski teaches well, but his exams are unfairly hard. One can study very hard all throught hte term, have mastered all the concepts, done all the practice exams, but still get killed on the final/midterm. He's not so nice outside of class. Not cool.

Ah....... he is a nice, helpful teacher; but just gives super hard exams that are going to make you fail.

He had every right to give us students such a hard exam. Fact is, it would not have been that hard had we expected such questions. He was unfair by giving us such a curve ball(not cool)People in the class dicussing the midterm were acting like babies.

Yes it's true his exams are tough but if you study hard and take good notes it is possible to do well in his class. His final was based on evertyhing that he showed us in class and there were no surpises....it is possible to get an A in his class.

Can be a bit of an idiot when it comes to exams, but I think you cannot get a teacher who can be clearer in class than Z. Know theory and u should be fine.

i dont know what these people are talkin about. this guy does his best 2 make sure you know your stuff. and when the midterm avg was low, he gave everyone 5% more. he didn't have 2, but he's a good guy. very enthusiastic and DEFINITELY knows his stuff about stats. how could anyone say he doesnt?

Ok,yes his exams are hard but he is extremely clear and tells you what he could ask on the exam. Just take down good notes and you'll do well. People complain b/c he gives tough exams and asks a lot of theory. But if u know the theory in his notes you'll get it all right.I got an A in Stats 2 w/ him

This guy knows exactly what he is talking about which makes his explanations very clear. If you are an average working person you will get a very acceptable grade with him.

Wow... this guy is very enthusiastic for stats, and fully expects his students to be too. He gets upset when people don't show the respect he thinks he deserves. He's good at teaching the material, but can't say I liked his personality. He made lame jokes while attempting to be cool.

Is very very enthusiastic about stats. Everyone think he's unfair, but he's EXTREMELY FAIR. I went to class, took good note, and got an A on the midterm and final. Just know everything in the book, and you'll be fine.

I absolutely loved Zabowski!His joke were funny and anyone who says the contrary needs to get a sense of humor!He made Stats fun and enjoyable!He is not only a great teacher but he gives very clear explanations! I am not a suck up,did not get an A in the class but a B. But I enjoyed it incredibly!

He knows what he is doing, explains it well as well if you ever have a problem can ask in class. He is not good at making the class fun. THe TA on friday are worth going, they wrap up what he says during the week and makes it easier for the exams. Exel is very important on exams

Okay, he is not the easiest teacher... BUT, he is a very good teacher with amazingly clear and organized notes... You have to work hard to get a good mark, but he certainly makes it possible with plenty of sample exams and problems

He helped me a lot in his office but he is not there on time, so you wait a lot in the corridors. Very picky and unfair at times with his grading, a hard marker. He teaches well and is better than Brian Smith

He's cool... at least he's trying to make the lectures more interesting by saying jokes! The mid-terms are pretty fair... he gives you 3 examples of past mid-terms, a lot of tutorials (i'm sure it's helpful even if i never went) and some extra problems. If you fail, you really did not study! Good teacher...maybe people just don't like stats...

Decent teacher. I love Bon Jovi and Deep Purple. That deserves an 85%. Comon sir.

Funny guy. Teaches it well but not an easy class and needs more pratice examples. Really know your stuff (don't rely on formual sheet for formulas; not enough time)

Great teacher! He knows his subject and explains it well. He takes it step by step. But the course itself is not easy, requires much practice.

He is very enthusiastic and makes stats interesting. He explains the subject matter in a clear & consise way, and the note book he uses (he made it) is really useful when compared with other textbooks. Actually, a friend from Concordia has been borrowing it constantly and has even attended a few classes. His exams are tricky though, so be prepared!

well enthusiasm is a given with this guy...hes got lots of energy. he makes his exams pretty fair in comparison to others and his problems are great because there interesting and he CLEARLY shows you how they can really apply in the buisness world. it shows an excellent application of the material.

Amazzzzzzzzzzzzzzzing professor...his exams are decent, they definitely test your knowledge & it is easy to get an A in the course if you put effort into it...make sure you ask questions, then he tends to favor the class by giving an easy midterm & final.

One of the best profs at McGill. Very helpful and fairly easy exams if you work hard and get yourself quite familiar with the material.Don't miss classes 'cause i garantee you that on exams there will be a question on theory that you though was useless information and slept through. So pay attention.

Well organized, a little bit hyper, no need for the textbooks (it's completely useless). Go to classes, take notes and do the problems and sample midterms/finals and your set to get an A. (I believe Smith is easier (or Stats2 was easier?) but you don't get to choose between these two)

Great prof! He is so energetic, and so nice with students. You can really tell that he became a prof because he enjoys teaching and he enjoys the interaction with students. It's a pleasure to be in his class.

Zabo is a pretty darn good prof for a class that you have to take. Stats kinda sucks, but at least he tries to made it fun. The midterm is HARD but the final is easier. Study really hard for them and use the TAs...they're usually pretty good.

I think Mr. Z is pretty good.This is the second time I've taken stats1 with him, so the class is HARD. PERIOD. I really like the TA this term though. She wasnt a TA last term, so this is better now than than. Read the notes he gives you and look over excel. It's a tough class and I hate it, but he's not a bad prof. He really likes stats much

Easiest class I have ever taken. Total of 10 hours of work (including attendance) for an A-. Exams are laughable. Now I understand why people make fun of management - because if you can't do well in this class you are a failure.

Zabowksi Is the Man!!!!!! Honestly, this is the most prepared, dedicated and easy to approach professor in the entire MGMT Science facutly, perhaps even the entire MGMT faculty. Zabowksi loves the material and will go the extra mile for anyone wo wants to learn. If you're dedicated to learning, make no mistake Zabowksi will properly educate you!

The guy loves stats, and it rubs off on you. He makes it super easy to understand, so much that you underestimate how hard the exam can be. They are hard. Super helpful with questions. Dynamic teaching, uses real life examples that relate to students to comprehension. Best prof so far.

Zabowski is da bomb! Haha...I love this guy. He's really chill, explains things very well and has very good examples. Very student friendly. He is always able to answer students questions and stays on topic all the time. Love the random hockey stories that he used in his examples to clearify things. Take him over Zhang for sure! Terrific prof.

Statistics is not naturally a lot interesting. Give him an A for trying to make the class more interesting.

He is really a great teacher. Provides great explanations and he doesn't mind repeating himself to make sure students understand. The Final exam was a piece of cake. It is extremely easy to get an A in his class as long as you do all of the problems in the course pack. He is the best!

Good teacher overall, maybe the best for stats. Actually teaches with passion and seems to like what he is doing. If you're decent in math or already took a stats calss before, the class should be quite easy.

He is a tough guy but man does he know statisitcs. I found him helpful but you have catch him in office hours. Some jokes are funny others are not.

This course is very hard but Glenn’s passion makes it easy. PowerPoints are excellent and practice exams are available. Quizzes are challenging. Make sure to go see him about probability to clear up any hazy areas (it will always be on midterm and final). Take this class with him. Will bump you up if you’re close. Overall strong recommendation.

One of my favorite profs at McGill. I had zero interest or previous knowledge of stats and professor Zabowski made it interestic and his enthusiasm for the subject made it fun. Fair grading, assignemnts and exams.

Great teacher. Always willing to help, and encourages students. Grading scheme makes sense. He's very lenient on marks (for example, he won't take points off a final if you make a simple addition mistake). Kind of funny. Not the easiest class but he tries to keep you into it.

Great professor. He is extremely organized and his slides are very useful. go and see him during his office hours if you have questions because he is SUPER helpful. He also makes the occasional hilarious comment during class. Don't miss him if you have the chance to take him!

He's been teaching the class for the longest time out all the proffs. He know the material really well, maybe a little too well. He gives you abetter idea of what stats is about, rather then just teaching you definitions and how to solve problems. Go to class, use his the notes he gives and with a bit of practice you'll be fine.

Don't need textbook, do the quizzes by yourself, listen to the professor, concentrate during class, he is really clear in his explanations! He is always there for you when you need his help. Practice on the quiz questions. Very nice prof, so sweet, I truly liked his lectures :D

Not my prof but I went to his classes because I couldn't understand anything K Mack was teaching. His slides are actually amazing and make the hard content very easy to undersand

Tons of study material (almost too much!) I like his teaching style, because even though the lecture hall is large, he makes it really personal, and his class notes are really all you need. I didn't look at the book so don't buy it! Always helpful in the office, but work for the midterms & paper coz the final is HARD... Final is honestly unfair.

The final was such a mess, but Glenn was a good prof. Go to class and do the quizzes. Start the final paper early! I got a 69 on the final (clearly curved up) and still got an A because I did well on the online quizzes and paper. Try not to depend on the final.

Amazing Prof! You should go to his classes, because sometimes he doesn't post the answers for the slides on mycourses. You don't need the textbook, because his lectures are extremely clear and he provides tons of practice questions for each chapter!

Show up to class, do all his recommended practice exams/extra problems and try to do them asap instead of during the final study period (this will help you write a better data analysis paper). The midterm was hard but the final was a breeze if you study hard (also you're permitted a cheat sheet for the final). Definitely take this professor!

A nice teacher that is easy going yet delivers teachings that are of true added value. It's been 22 years since I have been in his class and I can still remember his ways and teachings, and the times he had encouraging words while training at Nautilus Plus. Way to go Sir!
