Alot of people in upper years didn't like Gloria so I was catious going into the class, but I honestly can't see why anyone wouldn't like her. She is nice, funny, helpful, and overall I love her class. She is fairly easy with written assignments however on solos she marks fairly hard. Overall I thought she was a GREAT teacher!!!!

Gloria is amazing! She is extremely generous with her time as well as a fantastic voice teacher. My voice has progressed remarkably well under her teaching. I love my voice lessons!

Gloria is a terrific conductor,fantastic musician, great voice teacher & a very caring person.She taught me in high school & in university & she was equally amazing!Someone here has been dissing her & we know who this person is. Gloria is the best choir conductor I've ever had. She's fun, creative and sincere, very easy to follow as a conductor. I hope I can be in her choir again. I learned so much!

She can be nice but I agree when the others say she picks favorites...sometimes she made me feel like I sucked. Like one time she freaked out on me at an inappropriate time for a minor mistake I made, and I felt very embarrassed.

This prof is extremely kind to all and makes sure that everyone understands the concepts. She pulled together a marvellous choir in 3 months. I found my voice in choir and in the course she taught. She's awesome. She plays by the rules and I like that. It's about time someone took interest in attendance and preparation. You go Gloria!

Heard her sing the Pergolesi Stabat Mater last week. A huge operatic voice with stunning high notes. Great performance! She knows her stuff!

I absolutely loved choir this year with Gloria. We sang great repertoire and she was "on" at every rehearsal. I don't know where she gets her energy. She's a great conductor and we had SO much fun! I can't wait for choir to start in September. I miss it!

I just loved my voice lessons for 4 years. I learned something every lesson and finally developed my singing voice into a professional sound. I will miss my lessons now that I've graduated. Gloria is the best!

Gloria is a nice person in studio. I like her a lot, but I have to admit she could be quite picky sometimes. She studies hard (on voice and conducting)and is somewhat a perfectionist. For people who wants to learn from her, I think it's worthwhile. For people who are in her choir, good luck. (You'll know what I mean by the end of the year.)

Seems very odd that this person has had over 35 posts since 2009 when Mike Atkinson -- who teaches the "super class" and thousands of students -- has about 12 for the same period... Seems a bit contrived.

Gloria worked very diligently this year to bring the choir together to a high standard even thought she had to work with some difficult situations of students not cooperating or practising. Bravo for your generosity and dedication to rising above these obstacles.

she's very sweet and caring but also isn't afraid to call ppl out if they aren't focusing! shows her love for music and conducting through her constant energy and positivity during rehearsals. repertoire was fun, but it would be nice to do more challenging pieces. :)
