Her explanation about the material is not really clear. However, she is a very kind teacher. If you don't understand the material, you can come to her office and ask her question, even if you simply want her to review the material. Her exam is sometimes easy sometimes hard, and it's kinda tricky.

Well, like, I'm attending her class now, and I think she's very talented, and smart. Although sometimes she isn't very clear on what chapter we might be in, she is very informative if you ask her on a "one on one" basis. Also, she tends not to solve problems on the board as quickly.I still wub her!

I'm not aware of anyone failing her classes, she seems to give a C to anyone that makes it to the end of class, despite failing the tests, but getting a higher grade is hard. Her standard answer to questions is "I don't know, you tell me." Find someone else if you plan to go farther in physics, cuz you'll be unprepared.

Ms. Ramos is a very kind person, but she is not the teacher I would recommend for physics. LEcture is very unclear, and I feel lost in the labs, This is a very self taught class which would be fine if the tests followed the book. But they follow her lectures which never make any sense, Id avoid this class and take it somewhere else.

Your grade in the class is based on your ability to correctly answer her "challenge problems," which are insanely difficult and given on the timed in person exams. The material itself is not that difficult but the way it was presented through the videos made it confusing. She's the only 202-203 professor so your best bet is to learn from the book.

Professor Ramos may get a bad rap from other reviews but in all fairness, she teaches a hard course and does give good feedback if the effort is put into the class. The grading scale is unclear at times but if you put the work in, you should get a grade that meets your knowledge accordingly. Overall, she is a strong professor.

I had Ramos for both Physics 202 and 203, both classes fully online. She is by far most disorganized and unclear professor I have ever had. I did not receive ANY grades or feedback for tests, homework, or quizzes. She consistently failed to post lectures, and disappeared from the class for 3 weeks without any warning. Your better off self teaching.

week one: her class is an absolute LABYRINTH of assignments. Each one has multiple levels across several mediums of apps and she wants you to consistently be looking at and commenting on eachothers work. as a lower-div course, half the people here don't care about the subject and just want to pass. i LOVE physics and already HATE this class

This is the worst class I have ever taken by far. There are so many unnecessary assignments for no reason. Having us comment constantly on assignments is such a waste of time. She has everything set up so complicated too.

She did not grade anything until the last project. Was a hybrid class and did not teach at all. An example would be our unit 3, which she did not post any videos and had an exam within 2 weeks. Gives out packets during class and says figure it out. Horrible explainer and hard to understand what she is trying to teach.

Professor Ramos is a nice person, however, her lack of organization does lead to other issues. Her online class set up is pretty confusing as she uses 4 different programs to facilitate assignments, she also doesn't grade until the last week of the semester; you don't know where you stand until the very end... But, in class, she TEACHES well...

She doesn't grade anything until the last week of the semester, so you don't know your grade at all. Halfway through the semester, she stopped uploading her online lectures so you had to teach yourself the material because during class all you do is fill out packets of busy work.

This professor is terrible. Every class she gives us "Skill builders" packets and thats it. We basically taught ourselves and the challenge problems are insane. I learned Absolutely nothing in this class, she just sits there, on her laptop while all of us struggling to learn the concepts of each unit. Good luck to everyone that has to take her.

It's almost the end of the semester and nobody knows their grades. She described the class structure in detail at the beginning and in the syllabus but did almost nothing of what she said. If there wasn't a word count, I would say so much more. Overall, the absolute worst professor I have EVER had in my life. Do not take her, even if you're smart.

She barely teaches you anything and when she does, she expects you to know everything despite the fact that you are in a beginner course. Also she doesn't posts your grades until the end of the semester. Take physics with someone or somewhere else because you aren't going to learn a single thing in this class.

Despite what she says at the beginning of the semester your grade is determined by, challenge problems, portfolio assignments, and attendance. Show up 70% of the time, do your portfolios by the end of finals week and answer as many challenge problems as you can and you can get an A. However self teaching is necessary because she doesn't rlly help.

It's imperative to attend class as you can often miss important topics, classwork is done purely in groups where it was just you, your team, and a difficult packet, everything was taught online despite being an in person class, and she doesn't give feedback on any of the assignments or tests till the end of the semester. 3 words Worst. Prof. Ever.

Only reason I got through this class was due to my group mates. I had other people there to increasingly get more fed up with the class and our professor together. Assignments won't even get graded so you feel like you essentially did them for nothing. The intention for kindness is there, but lacks severely as a professor just so disorganized.

The intent for a well-structured class was there, but there was no follow through, resulting in an even more stressful class. Nothing was graded until the last week, rarely available, no feedback/help, lectures close to useless, in class activities were wasted time, insane work. Practice problems and retakes will save you. Free textbook though...

Prof. G was a lot better than I expected. The only down side is that she doesn't grade anything until the last minute. Class is structured as a flipped classroom and all the assignments are turned in online on Canvas or Teams. Take the Skill Builders SERIOUSLY, READ the book, and put an EFFORT in Labs and you will do fine for the LvL UP problems.

Clearly does not care about the class. Does not grade until the end of the semester. She also did not submit grades until january after my fall semester class (luckily I wasnt transferring that semester!). Getting a C requires almost no work, and getting an A requires luck for her to accept your answers, as she is a wildly inconsistent grader.
