She is such an easy teacher. all her tests are mult choice. she also tells you what kind of problems are on the test

Took her for both college algebra and 1311, she is a very friendly teacher, very helpful. Tests are muliple choice, review sessions are given by TA's which are VERY helpful. She is always willing to provide extra help during her office hours. Recommended!

A really nice lady...she puts reviews for the tests on blackboard so you know exactly what to do. No attendance policy in my class...but we got extra credit for going. Always helps during office hours...take her!!

I made a D in my previous course and with her I will end up with an A. Very good at explaining complicated subjects and the tests are not unbearable!

this lady is the woman. two words: take her. she makes sure everyone gets the material and if you still dont shes really helpful after class. class can be a bit boring, but hey, its math. she has a cute personality and is super nice to make up for it. do it.

extremely nice and helpful. class was boring for me bc i took calculus in high school, but i only needed one math. but if you do suck at math, take her. tests are easy and the only homework is those online quizzes, which are impossible to fail, unless you dont do them

She is incerdibly clear in her teaching and will make sure everyone understands her lessons. She gives many examples when teaching. MyMathLab is a great help for quizzes and tests (plus it is a grade) so keep up with it! You will get an A if you put work into it. She's an great teacher.

her class is really boring but there is no way you can fail.If you do all your homework which is SUPER EASY and online you will be set,if u do it all then you can still get 70's on your tests ad still have a B in the class,tutoring helps.I suck at math but shes the best prof to get!

I liked Betros, she was a great teacher and gave easy tests. I am horrible at math, but in her class, she made it so easy. She sometimes gave us quizzes at the end of class for extra points on the test, they were real easy. I didn't study for the final and made an 86. Not bad at all, she was real nice too.

Very nice.. Notes are very good where you are able to understand..When doing homework online you can do them as many times as u need till you get a 100. Test are not that bad either if u study for a little bit.

Easy, VERY EASY class if you understand math. Granted math is one of my easier subjects but all you really need knowledge of is high school geometry. It's that simple.

Great Teacher! Homework is really easy, assignments are online, and she's entertaining. There was numerous of times she had the whole class laughing. If you miss less than three classes the final makes up your lowest test grade, which will help you maybe jump a letter grade! TAKE HER!

Great teacher, very nice and answers questions you have during class. She doesn't move too fast, and usually shows the hard way to do a problem before showing the shortcut. Tests are pretty easy because she puts the basic stuff in it and doesn't try to trick you.

Ms.Betros is awesome, the only thing I didn't like was the seating chart. Her test are easy enough to just use the calculator to figure them all out. Plus if you do all the homework you get 20 ponits extra credit to put where ever you want.

Mathlab required for homework, book is not, I never used my book. If you miss less than 2 classes your final replaces lowest test. I hadn't taken math in 4 years and made a B in this class. Shes a great professor. Math is like a second nature to her. She gives practices tests. Book is not required but you have to buy mymathlab for about $80 to do the homework which is about 60 at most to be completed in a week.

It is a really fast paced class. I had a hard time keeping up because she goes through things super fast without much clarity but she is SO nice and friendly. Anytime I had a question I went to her and she was more than welcome to help. Keep up with homework, average 60 questions a week.

I had a very hard time in this class, but I am also terrible at math. I haven't had math in 3 years and she didn't give enough background info for me to keep up. If you haven't done math in a while i recommend catching up first. she is a good teacher though, so although I am failing miserably I would still recommend her to other people.

You're not likely to get an interesting math teacher at this university, but at least this one explains the concepts and is available for office hours. Also, gives out enough extra credit that I passed the class even though I only passed one test.

Mrs. Betros is a great professor and willing to help. Her tests are hard in my opinion, she makes you earn the grade. I would suggest re-doing all your homework as a review for the tests. It improved my grades drastically. She is nice go visit her in office hours if you need help.

I really breezed by Betros' Modern Geometry course. I had some peers that struggled, but there is ample opportunity to ask questions about what you do not understand. Homework is not graded but helps. Weekly quizzes which sometimes were done in pairs or small groups. I missed a test but she allowed my final to take its place!

Professor Betros is probably the best math teacher I have ever had! There is a lot of homework but it is on connect math so you can redo a question multiple times so you can make an easy 100. She is so caring and will help you if you do not understand!

Prof Betros was great. Very clear and organized and knows how to teach. The material itself is hard but she does a great job of explaining it. If you have trouble visit her in office hours where she is always happy to help. Gives 13 Quizzes only takes 10, 3 tests and a cumulative final. Highly recommend!

Betros was an amazing professor and really cares about he students. She really prepares you for the class through the notes and the problems on the test are taken straight from the homework (which is optional but it really helps). Only takes 10/13 of the quizzes and is always willing to work with you in office hours! Take Betros, you wont regret it

Prof Betros is such a sweet lady! Sometimes her feedback/answers to questions may not have been what I was looking for/ a little confusing. There is a lot of homework in the class, but all the homework prepares you for the test. She also gives multiple bonus quizzes, enough to boost a letter grade, so show up to class!!

Betros is one of the best math profs I have ever had. She is incredibly helpful and teaches very clearly. If you need her to say something over again, she doesn't mind. Math is an easy subject for me so maybe that why. HW and quizzes are VERY prevalent in this course but they are SO helpful. She opens everything up at the end for you to complete

Glynda is SO SWEET. She cares so much. Her lectures are very clear and she always makes time for questions. She's always accessible in her office, and always emails back within a few minutes. Homework is online which you do have to pay for regardless. She gives bonus quizzes at the end of a good amount of classes, for extra credit. Loved her class.

Study and do homework. Not bad. Just needs a better way to review with students. Didnt prepare us well for final or exams.

To start off, I failed every test. BUT I enjoyed her as a professor because she is one of the few math teachers in my experience to actually CARE about her students understanding what was going on. I failed tests because I would forget about online homework assignments or just genuinely not have the motivation (it was my first semester in college).

Ok so this is not a easy class, if you show up to class and just try there should be NO WAY that you should fail this class with this professor. Big thing is she is VERY good with one on one teaching so just show for a few office hours before exams your golden. So far my favorite TXST professor.

This woman is an absolute gem; she is the most caring professor I have had. This was my 2nd time taking algebra; I never took Algebra 2 in high school so my foundation for this class was nonexistent. But she gives you SO many opportunities to succeed; bonus points, dropping the lowest test etc. Very welcoming in her office hours, too. An angel!

Be prepared to work for your grade in this class. There is lots of homework and attending lectures it vital to optimal success. However, during lecture hours she gives extra credit opportunities, re opens all math HWs at the end of the semester to boost connect math grades, and lets the final replace your lowest test. Shes super sweet as well!

Betros is a very thorough professor and very sweet lady. She is easily accessible outside of class and every lecture is very thorough. The class can be a bit boring at times but the material is easy to understand.

Math is not my greatest subject, but without her I would not have passed! She takes her time in making sure you understand the material. If I had to give two pieces of advice, DO ALL OF THE HOMEWORK AND ATTEND CLASS, I went from an F to a B just by attending class and doing the homework! And studying of course :)

One of my favorite professors. She only takes grades on tests and weekly quizzes (sometimes the quizzes are group quizzes). assigns homework but doesn't take it for a grade but if you do the homework the quizzes and tests will be easy. really helpful and sweet

The material is by no means, easy. But, as long as you show an effort to learn Professor Betros will make sure she gives you ample instruction if you are struggling or just have a question. If you take the printed out notes she puts on tracs to class and take good notes, youll be golden. Never hesitate to ask for help bc she is always open to help

This class is definitely not easy, but she's an amazing teacher. She gives partial credit on test and quizzes and sooo much extra credit, so it should be hard to fail her class. 3 test, 14 quizzes (takes highest 10), doesn't grade hw but you should definitely do it, and the final wasn't hard at all. I loved her and would definitely take her again!

Pros: Kind and patient, accommodating and available outside lectures, Cons: none Tips: reread your notes and practice before each lecture. She hands out quizzes each class and they usually cover the examples from the previous lecture.

She takes time in class to explain anything you have trouble with, so don't be afraid to ask. Gives quizzes as extra credit after some lectures that can be done with a group. There is a lot of homework, but it's available all month so just don't procrastinate. Tests are very short so make sure to study!!! She gives reviews and has review sessions

She is an AMAZING professor. She explains everything very well and I never left her class too lost. She offers bonus quizzes every so often and those bonus points get added to your final exam grade so go to class even though attendance isn't mandatory. Also there is a lot of homework but you have until the next test to complete it so, do it early.

Took her for 1319 and 1329, and do not regret it! She is an amazing professor, and cares so much about her students. The class is hard, and you do have to work for the grade you want, she is always willing to help her students. 3 exams, 14 quizzes(drops lowest 4), and the final.

Mrs. Bentros is one of the sweetest professors and makes math easy. 4 exams and weekly quizzes, drops lowest exam and 3 lowest quizzes out of 13 (all on zoom). Gives so much extra credit and only buy the online textbook. If you have questions dont be afraid to ask she understands math is difficult for some people and doesnt judge you.

If you struggle with math, take her class. She is a very sweet lady and never acted like there were any dumb questions and was always willing to go over something again. I'm not very good at math so I wouldn't say this class was an easy A but if you pay attention in lecture, do hw, study a little and you'll get an A. Some extra credit offered.

Professor Betros is the best math teacher that i have ever had. She genuinely cares about her students and wants them to succeed in her class. She is very patient and will answer any question that you have. She explains the concepts clearly in her lectures but you will need to do the homework in order to successfully complete the exams in time.

She is literally the best teacher ever! If you have the option to take her take her! I had her for summer college algebra and while you do have to put in work to understand the topics, she makes sure you understand is very very sweet!

She truly is a great teacher. I took her over the summer, and even though it's condensed, I did not feel overwhelmed. I usually have to work harder to understand math, but she did a great job of explaining all the concepts. She is there to help you and so patient.

She offers extra credit by surveys, quizzer questions, and by attending office hours 3 times. She's very accessible outside of class and responds to emails within 24 hours. Betros goes over coursework very well and preps you for exactly what you'll see on quizzes and exams. I'm pretty decent at math but she really helped me so much! BEST PROFESSOR!

TAKE HER. Listen to me Best Math Professor I have ever had. After the pandemic, I honestly hadn't taken a true math course in over a year. She explains everything and doesn't make you feel dumb for asking questions even if it was just answered or if she just went over it. She is an angel. Office hours are great. Group quizzes on zoom. Betros is a great choice if your not good with algebra- she gives opportunities for extra credit and is accessible outside of class if you need help or have questions. Participation in her class matters!! Definitely a difficult class if you aren't prepared. She does record the online lectures which is 10/10 in case you have to miss class.

If you fail her class you didnt try. She gives you so many opportunities to fix your grade. Such a wonderful woman. Dr. Betros is just downright the best professor I've ever had. If you fail, it's because YOU did not try. She makes sure that if you don't understand something, that you get clarification until you understand it, even if she has to repeat herself. If I had to take a future class that she happened to teach, I would take her again in a heartbeat.

This professor was absolutely amazing. She makes sure to go over things very carefully in order for people to understand, and she promotes coming to office hours for better exam grades. Participation matters! Not coming to class means missing an entire section of notes, and it is hard to catch up.

Betros is a good professor. The class moves FAST. To succeed you have to stay on top of the material that yall will be covering and actually do the homework that is provided.

go to class or else youll miss a whole lesson. she was rated high so i took her and misjudged how hard the class would be for me. I missed an exam and my final made up for it and there is quizzes weekly. quizzes are pretty easy and she always lets us have a partner. Professor Betros is a good prof overall. Her class was extremely difficult, and she moves at a very fast pace. I wish she went more into depth with teaching topics.
