i think he's a good teacher...yeah he's hard to understand..but when i had a problem he always helped me...he even offered to help tutor me when i got a C on one of my tests..i usually got A's thats what shocked him..he even asked if i was having problems

very funny man and ive learned alot from him. he cares about his pupil. gives out tons of extra credit that is helpful at the end of the final give out study guides b4 exams. he is really good

HE IS VERY GOOD INSTRUCTOR AND HELPS STUDENTS TO UNDERSTAND THE SUBJECT MATTER. I TOOK THIS CLASS BEFORE AND DROPPED IT, BUT WHEN I TOOK FROM HIM I UNDERSTOOD EVERY THING FROM THE BEGINNING. EXCELLENT HOME WORK CREDITS AND HAND.

I am not a math person, i have never been good at math, but he cares about his students and offers a lot of extra credit and is really funny. I didnt do as well in the class as i wanted to but that was my fault he was very generous in grading tests and finals.

Explains math VERY well. I got good grades in his class because he breaks math down into easy to learn steps. If you can, take this professor for all your math classes, because you WILL pass with a good grade, not beacuse it is an easy class, but because he has the talent to make math easy to understand. I only wish he taught at Orchid Ridge also.

He may be the best Math teacher that I have ever had he breaks it down just right. Plus you get extra credit for doing homework, which you should be doing anyways. You WILL LEARN, I guess that is why he is the head of the Math Dept.

Math is my worst subject, always has been and i was sure this was the only class i would not get an a in, but to my surprise i did really well in this class and the teacher actually made me feel confident about the class. Although he has a strong accent he does care about his students and doesn't grade too stiffly like other teachers.good job nasar

Awesome professor for Math. Very organized, professional and really cares for students success. Explains concepts thoroughly before moving on and if he senses that you are confused, he will kindly ask you whether you are ok without embarrassing you. He is a fantastic math teacher. I hated math until I took his class. I'm taking him again. He gives great prep for every test and the tests are very consistent with lecture and HW. He gives you a lot of credit on tests just for starting problems correctly.

I hate math, and I am very surprised I got an A. However, his lectures were very good, he explained everything; but I had some trouble understanding his accent. And I hate it when he calls on random people in class for the answer. That's just me. ;) I suppose he's one of the better math teachers I've had.

I had Nasari for Differential Equations this Summer. He's fair, he's helpful, and all things being equal I think he would like to see his students do the best they can. I strongly advise him for Differential Equations

Nasari is the man! im going to take my 3rd class with him this fall! in 1050 i got an A and in 1100 i got a B+ he is very fair nice and helpful..and offers an SI which is great! i highly recommend him for math..especially if your not good at it like i am..i revolve my entire schedule for his class!

I was horrible at math prior to this class. I finally understand it. Dr. Nasari is a good instructor. He can be hard to understand at times (his accent), but he is helpful. I will definitely be having him as an instructor from now on for math. I'm making my schedule around his class.

Very Helpfull instructor speaks very good english. He gives homeworks which part of your grade. He gives a lot of handouts in class. The students who put the comment about Calculu was really the worst student in the Calculus class. He came late and start shouting for no reason. He was reprimanded twice. I think the student had mental issues.

Very good teacher I dropped Calculus once and failed once but I did very well in his class. He is very clear with very good examples and handouts. Uses technology a lot.

He is a good teacher. His accent is not hard to understand at all. He speaks perfect english. His tests are short and cover only the most important concepts. He usually curves and will definitely drop the lowest exam grade. To get an A, come to class and do the homework.

Very fair. If you do practice problems there will be no surprises on exam. Makes you do Web Assign homeork, which is a pain at first but in the long run boosts your grade if you do them well. I wish more professors were like him!

I had Dr. Nasari for Mat-1050 and specifically chose him again when I took Mat-1100. I got a B and B+. Really really like this professor and would select him again if I needed to take another math class.

I have taken him for two math classes now and I am about to take him again. If you are not lazy and do the practice problems you will understand the material. Plus the practice is worth a test grade and its easy! Dont be lazy= get an A! Hes very smart, probably too smart, but hes a great teacher!

I took this class before and could pass it. He opened my eyes and now I am on my way to calculus two with confidence. He grades every test promptly and post it on the Desire2lern before next class. Very helpfull and Webassign homework is excellent.

Tests were fair. Doesn't fully explain concepts, but goes over how to solve problems enough to get by. Very nice man who seems to care.

He worked through the material methodically, drilling examples and students on answers. His use of Webassign is a huge plus. Webassign is an incredibly powerful tool to augment the homework. He allows questions before every test, giving you the formulas and answers prior to the test you are about to take if you have classmates willing to ask.

Dr. Nasari have online homework which is graded instantly givinf grades and very helpful. He gives great tests from the homework and the home. Gives great examples. Excellent teacher

The best teacher ever had in math. I passed his class with A grade, after I dropped and failed the class from other teaches. Great Handouts and every examination he gives review sheet. WebAssign online is extremely helpful which count for the grade.

Math has become my favorite class thanks to Dr. Nasari. He cuts out a lot of unnecessary fillers and is direct in problem solving and teaching through application. If you do the practice and Web assign, you will do well on the tests. He does have an accent, but I have no trouble understanding him, and his sense of humor really makes class enjoyable

Dr. Nasari is by far my favorite Math teacher. If you complete the Webassign and do the practice problems, this class should be fine. He is easy to understand and gives great examples in class. I would definitely recommend him!

Dr. Nasari made the concepts of calculus easy to grasp and apply to real life problem solving. I was very grateful and somewhat surprised that I did as well as I did in his class. He is a very demanding professor and this is beneficial if you plan on taking higher level math classes. I haven't taken a math class in over ten years and I got a "B".

As long as you copy what he puts down for the notes and do the we assign homework, the class is very easy. Then again, it was mostly stuff i learned in high school.

Dr. Nasari is a wonderful professor. I loved coming to his class. He explains things in a way that everyone understands and he will not move on until the entire class understands. I would suggest everyone to take his class.

Super nice and always helpful! Lenient with family problems or things like that when you need a extension. He always reviews before tests and I find it extremely helpful considering its an online course.

what can I say? This is my third class with Prof Nasari and as always, I come out of it understanding the concepts and actually enjoying the challenges. He has made math something that I truly enjoy and I'm sad that this is the last class with him before I transfer. I'm going to miss his wit and helpfulness.

He is a great teacher, head of the math department. He offers plenty of help, but you have to do the homework to keep up. Math is my least favorite class, but I ended up putting in a lot of effort and it paid off! There is no such thing as an easy math class, unless you're a genius.

Dr. Nasari is an awesome professor. He always makes jokes which I think makes the class easier to sit in for long periods of time. He's always more than happy to stop when someone is not understanding the material. He also uses webassign for homework which I have always found really helpful!

This teacher was great. He took time to explain things over and over until you get it. He uses an online homework system, which is nice. Good tests. Has a T.A. that is very helpful as well.

His grading policy was straightforward: 5 exams, homework, and final. Grade on the final replaces your lowest test score if its higher. His exams were very fair in my opinion and he'd lay out exactly what you needed to know. If you do the homework and practice problems to study for the exams you'll pass with flying colors.

I do not like mathematics, but Dr. Nasari made me like math with great daily examples. He grades all the homework which is part of the grade. He gives chapter examinations which makes it to pass the class. He gives great feedback. Its hard to fail his class unless you do not study.

I despise math, always have and always will. Dr. Nasari's easygoing, calming attitude (and pleasant accent) helped calm my nerves, and the fact that he works many textbook problems with you in class is a huge plus over instructors who drone on through their lecture. I scraped a pass and I've very grateful for all his assistance.

Great teacher but if your having trouble understanding there is an SI to help. Tests are fairly basic however they are timed so make sure you can do everything efficiently. He gives good study guides for tests but you'll need to review similar practice problems as well. Online homework is deceptively long so don't wait until the last couple days

He is a great teacher. He goes through the topics, so if you need help, it is definitely an advantage to see Debra. The S.I sessions are always before class. Actually I only went to the S.I sessions on exam day (literally right before the exam). Debra repeats everything you have to know. And homework is a big part of the grade. For me an easy A

Mr. Nasari is an OK math teacher I suck at math but with the homework and extra credit he offered I got a B- just do the homework and you will understand the material and the homework really helps your grade. His SI was bomb btw she might be the reason I passed make sure you take that to advantage as well.

Hes a good professor. Take notes and do all the homework online step by step and you will get an easy A. He gives 7 tests and replaces the lowest score with the final exam grade which was the easiest. He tells you the exact questions that will be on the final exam. Overall i would recommend him!

If you struggle in math take Nasari. He is great at explaining tough concepts. He is nice and funny, and is always in a good mood. If you want an A go to as many of the classes as you can because the key is effort. He will explain things one on one if you ask. Professor Nasari is a solid choice. He tells you what you have to do to pass the class, and he grades fair. Homework is online worth 200 points, 5 exams worth 500 total. Do the homework and do good on the test and you'll pass the test.

Professor nasari is one of the best math professors Ive had. He has a clear grading criteria. He grades fair and always makes sure to give points on tests. Online hmwk is easy. Gives out study guides a week before tests so youll be prepared. He shouldnt be fired and I passed mat 1150 because of him.

Dr. Nasari is a very tough and old school teacher, He wants you to learn and be able to pass without asking questions. It was very important to attend study group to pass this class. I started out rough and ended strong. I would recommend him only if your ready to work. He does have a accent that can be hard to understand but its not unbearable.
