Although he has a strong accent, because he's Indian, he is a good teacher. He has the students buy a study guide with all his notes and practice tests that are included, this helps out a lot. Definetly recommend.

This class is an easy A although I am not actually sure you learn too much. You were able to have notes during the test. He always reviewed before each test.

Don't like stats? No problem this guy doesn't care about you actually learnig the material but passing the course. The easier prof ever. You'll get 3 midterms out of which you get to drop the lowest, then you take the final and that's it. But the best is that you're allow a note sheet on the exams and the material only covers two chapters per test.

Not a good math professor. He assumes you're dumb so does not explain thoroughly and states he'll give you what you need on the exam. The problem about that is that first you don't really learn much, unless you read the book, and second you don't have a full understanding of the subject so it makes it harded for the exams. He needs to learn english

Kibria is the man. I live my life by this website and trust me when i say this guy is an easy A. I suck at math and i passed this class. He gives you a study guide that if you actually take good notes you dont even need a book. Allows cheat sheets. Hes funny. And as clear as a guy from bangledesh can be. Take him if you want to pass.

This guy is super easy! The combination of the study guide and the cheat sheets make the class impossible to fail. He always reviews before an exam and he doesn't test on anything he hasn't covered. He also provides practice exams for all his tests. And he gives you the best grade he can.

Being an Indian professor, he is very easy to communicate. I prefer to have him in another class. I am very happy to have him as one of my professor. He is very nice and well respected. He gives us a lot of office hours. He is very friendly.

One of the better STAT professors that you could actually understand and not fall asleep in his class. Guy is VERY VERY helpful and breaks down the subject so you understand it. Allows "cheat sheet" for every exam, just do ALL homework problems and you'll be fine.

I took him for statistics, he was wonderful, adorable and helpful. The best professor I've had at FIU. Some might find his accent slightly difficult but he is more than happy to repeat anything. Very fair professor.

Professor Golam Kibria is a great teacher. His class was long (about 3 hours). He lectures non-stop. I thought, I will fail this class. Finally, because of his inspiration and office hours, I passed with B. He has great class notes.

He is very caring. The material could be hard at first. Therefore, although he is very specific in his lectures, it takes doing the assignments and putting the extra effort either by going to office hours or researching the subject to sometimes understand the material. I just finished my final exam with him and I can say he is great! Easiest stat class there is, no annoying ass MyLab, I studied from his power point presentations and never read the book, plus he also cares a lot about his students and will do anything to help you all

Professor Kibria is pretty chill, and although he does have a pretty thick accent, he is very kind and often funny. There were only five homework assignments, two midterms, and one final with no extra credit or make-ups... but he can be nice on the grading! Took the class as a mini-term (6 weeks) which worked in my favor since the subject is hard.

This is a very hard course and it needs a lot of attention. However, Professor Kibria is a very caring and is an excellent teacher. He is willing to help you and keep himself available both in and outside of classes. I will be taking another course with him in Spring 2023. He is a great professor and strongly recommending for him.

Multivariate Analysis is one of the most difficult courses in my entire life. I was almost dropped the course. However, Professor encouraged me to take it. He gives us tremendous help and time. Spending many hours both in class and office hours, zoom, email. He is very much caring professor. Finally I did very good.

STA 4321 is a very difficult course, requiring Calculus II and III as prerequisites. However, Dr. Kibria is a great professor. He provides excellent class notes with very nice class presentations and is accessible outside of class. He is the fastest-responding professor I have ever known regarding emails. Dr. Kibria is the best.

Golam is very funny and engaging during lectures. His exams are the exact same thing that he covers during the classes. Even without class, the exam is still similar to homeworks. I didn't go to class and did well by studying homeworks. It's not an "easy A," but Golam does the most he can to give students partial credit and boost your grade.
