one of the best profs in the biological science department and bio 461 is easy compared to other courses in this department
Great prof. Pay CLOSE attention to the clues he drops during lectures, and WRITE them down. He taught the first half of the course, which covered the material on the first midterm. Study your ass off and attend the review session and you will do fine!
Awesome prof ! Hints at what is on exams, really good explianations, and cares about the students ! sometimes the info can get complicated so reading the textbook before class really helps with understanding lectures
Nice guy and pretty laid back. He's not uptight about the smallest details, and chooses to tests on MAIN concepts instead. Pay attention, take notes, and you'll be fine. Recommended!
Really great prof! Super clear and great at answering questions! Emphasizes important things and tells you some questions that will be on the test. Highly recommended. Sometimes goes too slow at the beginning then rushes through things though... things that appear on the test. So make sure to study all the slides.
Absolutely phenomenal professor. He provides very informative and detailed power point slides that are a great help for studying. He is clear and concise and by far the best prof/teacher I have ever had and I would highly recommend taking his class.
Epic professor, tells you exactly what to expect on the midterm and he's not kidding, he'll literally tell you 3 or 4 times. He's awesome and he's enthusiastic about genetics which makes it better! His teaching style is great. His exams are not hard at all if you simply listen every lecture and take good notes!
Beauty of a professor, his slides are immaculate.
Awesome guy, very entertaining to listen to. Good professor and his stories about his kids are interesting. Responds to emails very quickly. Respond to questions kindly.
Amazing professor. If you get a chance to take his class, do it! Extremely helpful and wonderful lecturer. He could talk for hours and make it seem like minutes,. He keeps his notes very interesting, concise, and to the point.
Definitely a great prof! Very clear about what topics will be on the midterm and wants everyone to have a good grasp of material before moving to other topics in lecture.
Great prof!! His notes are unmatched and his explanations clear. VERY helpful and caring. TAKE HIM IF YOU GET THE CHANCE.
Dr. Chua is a superb prof! He lectures with clarity and precision and holds the audience's interest. His notes are fantastic as well! His tests are very reasonable and he won't try to trick you. Possibly the best biology prof in the faculty. DO EVERYTHING IN YOUR POWER TO LEARN FROM HIM!
He is an absolutely awesome teacher! Very smart, but doesn't give off that "I'm smarter than all of you" vibe. Explains everything in great detail! Has lecture slides so notes are easy to take. When you attend lecture, he points out key things to know for exams, and even attaches sample multiple choice questions to help prep for exams/quizes. GREAT
He's literally the best prof ever!! Even tho I wasn't in his lecture section, I used to attend his class and he was phenomenal! He is very clear and specific on what we need to know for the exams. I recommend him greatly and attendance is mandatory. Take very good notes and you should be fine! Cheers!!
Awesome prof - Love his lectures and I look forward to going to bio every day! Never a dull moment in his class and he provides GREAT notes! Very clear and easy to understand. Emphasizes what will be on the exam (very clear!!!) TAKE A CLASS WITH THIS PROF IF YOU HAVE A CHANCE! Amazing!!! He's my favourite prof at U of C!
Professor Chua is an amazing professor! Take this course with him if you get the chance because professors like this (in any course) do NOT come around often! He is very clear and explains things very well (I am someone who finds genetics confusing). He takes awhile to answer emails; however, he replies with LOTS of explanation. Worth the wait!!
Best prof ever. Lectures notes are very clear. Don't need to read textbook. Gave away a good portion of the exam by dropping hints in class. Emailed him for clarification and he seemed a bit pissed but overall really great prof.
Such a good prof. He talk clearly and slowly to let you absorb the info. Often tells us which lecture slides are essential to midterms. Lots of good info on each lecture slide. But still a pretty hard course.
Dr. Chua is a great prof! His lecture notes are very clear and more organized than the textbook. He always gets right to the point and has a good time management. He also gives hints on what you need to study for the midterm. It's totally worth it to attend all his lectures!
Great prof. Can ramble a little but over all gives good information. Reading the textbook pages helps a lot!!!
He's a good professor, he has some funny moments. But my biggest hint if you ever take his class is PAY ATTENTION TO WHAT HE'S SAYING. sometimes he mentions that a certain thing is importatn and may be on the midterm and IT IS! so focus in lecture, do your readings and he's an awesome prof. pretty easy class. focus focus focus.
(CMMB 461) Dr. Chua's midterm and final was based on his lectures. If you reviewed the learning objectives (actually wrote and memorized the answers down) while studying, you would find the final/midterm easy. He has fill in the blank notes to keep you awake in class. Replies to emails thoroughly and quirky. Assignments were long but easy marks.
Dr. Chua is by far the best prof I ever had. His notes are everything you need to study for the midterm. He goes in a great pace, so that you don't fall behind. He really cares about the students, so I recommend taking this course with him if you have the chance.
Chua was the best prof I've had so far. He was an amazing lecturer, and was very clear and concise when lecturing and answering questions. He explained concepts very thoroughly and his presentation slides are very well organized. He showed videos to help for understanding.
Gordon's a really nice guy. I didn't necessarily enjoyed his content (there's a lot of it), but I thought he was a really nice professor.
he is awesome!
Dr. Chua was a phenomenal lecturer. He is very clear and concise on ideas you need to know. Dr. Chua also provides mental breaks through presenting videos which really help. He also tells you whats going to be on the exam, so listen carefully.
Dr. Chua is a fantastic professor, by far the best I've had all year. He manages to present difficult and complicated material in a logic way.
Super helpful in office hours and cares about his students and what they are interested in. Go to lecture and listen for his hints. Also go to his "review session", he will tell you almost all the written questions. There is a lot of content so stay on top of your work, but he really helps you succeeded! Midterm is easy if you study and prepare!
Lectures notes were very well done (print ahead of time and bring to class). Textbook readings compliment course work nicely. The midterm was fairly tough however, questions were very specific to course content or topics only briefly mentioned in lecture.
Dr. Chua taught the first half of BIOL 243 really well. His notes are concise and cover all the information you need to know for the midterm, so don't even bother with the readings and textbook. He is very knowledgeable about the topics he teaches and is not there to trick you, really kind prof!
Dr. Chua was a fantastic prof! The content covered in his half of the course was very interesting if you enjoy molecular bio, and he gave several hints on what to expect on the midterm. Both the textbook readings and the lecture notes are important to study in order to ace the midterm. The midterm was a very fair test if you prepared well.
Goof Prof but a lot of work required. assignments really lenghty.
had him for both biol 243 and cmmb 461. His biol part was good , taught well but goes thru the slides a bit fast. As a cmmb major , i thot this class was not so interesting. The good thing is no labs for this class but i found the lab classes easier to score.
He is really, really good about explaining different concepts. He really knows his stuff, but your hands will cramp up from all the writing you have to do. He has "fill-in-the-blank" notes, with a LOT of blanks.
Lectures were clear, fill-in-the-blank notes were helpful because he always placed blanks where definitions or key concepts were.
Dr. Chua is definitely one of the better professors. He is very clear during the lecture and notes are fill in the blank and easy to follow. However, sometimes he does get confused with what he is teaching. He gives sample questions for the exam in class but they aren't as helpful as he thinks they are.
Dr. Chua is a great lecturer and a very knowledgeable prof. He's very clear about what you need to know for exams. Would definitely take a course from him again.
Prof Pros:Knows his stuff very informative and clear Respectful and approachable and all around good guy Prof Cons:He goes through his slides fast and gives you no time to catch up so print those notes off D2L I almost never used textbook so if you don't already own it I wouldn't really suggest it Labs are the same as 241 Midterm was okay I got a B
he has great knowledge about his field and is very clear in conveying.
Personally I found that notes that we print off from D2L and his lectures a bit unorganized. He seems knowledgeable but when I visited him during office hours he wasn't very helpful. He seems to explain better through email than in words. This course was fun but it was a lot of work. Reading textbook is required and lecture quiz only gives 1 try.
Great Prof, definitely provides all of the information needed for test, just up to you to actually study it. Would definitely recommend in the future. Didn't follow the rules and taught us textbook concepts, I'm not complaining bc it meant you didn't need to read the textbook. Really one of those profs that are actually good at teaching. 6/5 <3333
Really good at explaining things in the course, the material itself can be difficult to understand which is what can make him difficult to understand, especially in the short time period you learn everything in. But he explains things to the best of his ability and his powerpoints are very informative. Course itself is tough but manageable
Dr. Chua presents an exceptional lecture full of detail that moves at a semi-fast pace. Along with this, Dr. Chua provides many opportunities to receive support from the Department of Bioscience for both the course at hand as well as future career path advising within the field of bioscience.
Dr. Chua is a bit of a dry lecturer but posts all his notes and is extremely approachable in class and out for questions and help. The exams are pretty much full memorization, he also posts sample exams. A tip: He does not put the same questions from his sample on the real exam, so study whats not on the sample exam.
Dr. Chau is one of the best bio sci profs you will ever get. You have to go to class to get the notes but he does upload the template on D2L. Most of the time, he does not have a monotone voice and makes good jokes :) His explanations are very detailed, and does tell you what the midterm is on.
I have been his student since my first year in Biological Sciences in Bio243 and CMMB 461 . He an exceptional professor of Biology. Knowledgeable , humble and easy to approach. Good to see a passionate professor who cares about his students .
great prof, really chill, clear guidelines and midterms/finals are straightforward and notes oriented. i read the textbook but honestly it didn't help b/c everything is in his notes.
He was okay IMO. He taught lectures in a clear manner. Was sometimes too quick in going through slides, and I had to catch up afterwards.
Dr. Chua was an awesome prof for the first half of BIOL243. Notes were really well made fill-in-the-blank style, and were super colourful and easy to follow. Explained all concepts quite clearly. Always had videos and funny stories to help strengthen the material he had within the slides. Would take him again in a heartbeat!
One of the best professors of all time. This man is the GOAT. His notes are fill in the blank and easy to follow. Lectures are very entertaining and informative. 10/10 would recommend.
Out of my fourteen years of education, I have not met a more well educated, well spoken or kind teacher than Dr Chua. Gordon keeps class fun and engaging while simultaneously teaching required material in a way that is easily understandable. Heading into the midterm exam, I could not feel more prepared. Highly recommended this GOAT.
In all my years of formal education, I have never met a man with such knowledge and passion in biology. His lectures were interesting and the fill in the blank notes provided additional reinforcement on the content covered in class. Dr. Chua was accessible outside of class to address all my questions and concerns in great detail. Best prof ever.
One of the best bio profs I had first year! He is very passionate about genetics and definitely knows his stuff. Is funny and gives detailed notes. Love that he started every lecture with a quick review of the previous lecture to make sure people understood complex ideas. Definitely have to go to class as he only posts slide templates.
Dr. Chua is the greatest prof I have ever had during my university experience. Excellent lectures, clear explanations, and plenty of resources for examinations. Goat man
One of the best professors in the Biological Sciences department. He truly cares about the students and wants everyone to succeed. Gives ample feedback and drops many hints for the midterm throughout lectures. Additionally, he is always available to provide extra help to students who ask for it.
The first half of this class is molecular bio, I found this EXTREMELY difficult to comprehend. However, Chua was a GREAT teacher, he is extremely clear with what will be on the Midterm, the textbook really helps to understand concepts.
Dr. Chua explained the material very well, his notes were organized, and updated us every lecture with lab and assignment deadlines. There are textbook readings, but they aren't tested on, just read them for an extra resource if you are confused. Midterm was fairly difficult so study a fair amount for it.
Definitely the best prof I had my first year. Dr Chua was one of the best teachers I have ever had with funny remarks, and amazing videos. I will greatly miss him.
Chua was a very good professor. His classes were interesting however very fast paced.
Best prof Ive had yet!! Goes into detail during lecture and if he feels the class is antsy or loosing intrest he will often end the lectures a couple minutes early. Lecture Notes are super helpful and he gives very good detail. Go to class as he gives several midterm hints (also go to the review for the midterm!!!).
Gordon Chua was the best professor I've had so far. He understands what he is teaching and is very clear answering questions. The tests are straight forwards and he tells you what you really need to know for tests. Just study and SHOW UP TO CLASS. You will do amazing with him as your teacher
Dr. Chua is a great prof. Course is challenging: fast-paced with lots of material, but if you keep up & apply yourself, you can do well. He is a great speaker and his lectures are clear and interesting. He adds many interesting anecdotes & drops MANY hints on what kind of questions will be on midterm. Attend the Midterm review: dropped more hints.
Best prof I had first year. Clear, concise lecturer, made some jokes, and got to the point. Would 100% take his class!
Gordon Chua is the most helpful prof out there. He's definitely the best for first year bio!
A great prof, very approachable and supports students. I literally didn't understand translation and I went to his office hours and he explained the whole process one on one to me which is probably why I passed the midterm. Definitely recommend him. BIOL 243 is not an easy A like its a tough class but having a good prof makes the biggest difference
Dr. Chua is such a blessed Prof. He makes his lectures as interesting as possible, and communicates well outside of lectures. He has a great sense of humour and supports everyone in any way that he can. I definitely recommend taking a course with him!
He always posted the notes for class and his explanations were thorough. If you ask him a question mid lecture, he'll always answer it even if it means we get behind schedule. The videos he plays during lectures are also very helpful. Definitely a lot of content for this class so be prepared for fast paced lectures.
Dr. Chua is an AMAZING professor. Super kind, very caring, teaches very well. It may *at first* seem he is going slow, but he always gets everything completed in the time it needs to be - he just really tries to explain things well. Will hold 4-hour, last-minute office hours the day before midterms. An amazing professor.
I do not like Dr. Chua. While he was teaching, I found him to be flippant at times when answering questions. Oftentimes he could not even answer said questions, and fumbled his way through a half-explanation before abruptly moving on. His lecture notes are brief and disorganized. The tests felt unfairly difficult compared to the material taught.
DIdent like him. Lecture material was ez and breezy but tests were not fun at all. He picked VERY specific brushed uon topics that he never even explained well to put on the test. I honestly feel he went back to his lectures to see aspects of them he did poorly on and then put questions related to that on the tes.
No. not a very good lecturer tests r wayy to hard/
Havent finished the semester yet, but I must say Dr Chua is one of my favourite profs thus far. He cares about his students and if you ask him one on one questions, he answers in depth and ensures that you understand the concept. Hes also a funny guy at times. Lectures can be a bit long sometimes but amazing prof all around!! Highly recommend!
If having really good notes compared to other professors was a place, you would find him there
Is quite a difficult first half of the class and lots to memorize about genetics but is a really awesome prof who gives great feedback. However, some lectures felt really rushed and barely had time to write things down
I had taken Dr. Chua's class a couple of years ago and looking back his test may have been hard but it was very fair. In comparison, the second-year and third-year tests were way harder. Anyone complaining now is in for a rude awakening.
Dr. Chua seems like a wonderful person and his lectures are great! They are chalked full of information, keep up!!! One time I struggled with a quiz question he sent me a massive detailed email to explain, impressive. Above and beyond! I think he slept through one of the lectures by accident lol :) he never ever showed up lmao!
Great lectures and notes. He is also very accessible outside of class, especially through email. He will send detailed answers and explanations to your questions over email that are very helpful. I loved his class!
Make sure you attend class because he gives lots of hints for upcoming test. He can sometimes get off track for a long period of time, and can sometimes be hard to understand. Other than that a solid but average prof.
Gordon is a great professor, he cares about what he does and he works hard. His class can be tough, but he makes things clear. He can sometimes ramble and get distracted, but he is aware of his teaching style and tries to improve. The biology class was very interesting itself! Thanks Gordon
He is one of the best professors I've ever had, he is absolutely amazing. His notes are clear and tell you everything you need to know. His tests are not bad and are pretty fair. You have to go to lectures to get the complete notes as he fills them in as he teaches. If you are going to take any bio class I would recommend taking it with him.
Dr. Chua's lectures and lecture slides were comprehensive and provided all the information necessary for the exams. Make sure you know and understand the lecture materials (ie. the lecture slides) and you'll be fine!
I took a course with him Nd honestly speaking the teaching was more dry than the material sry. Like I was about to fail but only god could save me. His voice made me wanna go to drift into the meadows. This was such a bad course that I contemplated my entire degree but thnkfully im past that. Plzz jut drop the course or jut switch to arts or smthng
ngl i rlly liked the topics from this class but mans made me wanna change into an arts degree after this. DNA is legit the backbone of life but na i don't think i even have a backbone after having to break my back from reading the textbook all day nd night. homies once the course was over i felt like i was released from prison <3the A isnt worth it
The class was pretty straightforward and Dr. Chua was a very good lecturer and teacher. He was very accessible outside of class, especially before the exam. He also gave a lot of hints of what was on the exam SO PAY ATTENTION. Anyone complaining just assumed university would be as easy as high school.
Dr. Chua was a great prof who did an excellent job of covering material in lectures. This class had a huge emphasis on readings, however, which were usually long and sometimes quite difficult to grasp fully. The material was reviewed in lecture to help learn, but they were often behind where you should be reading; you have to do both to succeed.
The class is hard but Dr. Chua has excellent ways of teaching. He is highly caring, flexible, and approachable, so make sure to reach him in order to succeed in this class. He also gives many hints on what will show up on the tests. Get ready to squeeze to critically analyze scientific papers.
Dr. Chua is an awesome prof but he is a tough grader and provides no clear grading criteria.
Dr. Chua is a fantastic lecturer! Really outgoing and always available to meet outside of class, even on the weekend or during term break as well! The assignments are tough, and he grades on specific wording which can be a little difficult at times. Overall, if you pay attention this is a fantastic course! Highly recommend!
Great prof-- super helpful. Would recommend prof and class 100%
He is a really nice prof and he is always accessible outside of class. he genuinely cares and will go out of his way to help you succeed. the one thing i don't like about this class is the high dependency on the textbook, but Dr. Chua kind of has a monotone voice that I struggle to pay attention too. otherwise, he was good!
He was a great lecturer. Answered questions clearly and was helpful. However, his midterm exam was extremely difficult and unfair. 80 points from 60 questions and 3 hours. I felt rushed and the test questions were really specific and designed to make students fail.
Dr. Chua was really accessible outside of class and it did seem that he genuinely cared about students. However, his lectures (and the weekly quizzes) were heavily based on the textbook material. I found that his slides were hard to read, and he did stop lecture to answer questions frequently which lead to us falling behind with the schedule.
A good guy and a good prof. Really good at 1on1 question answering and extremely helpful and kind by email. Midterm was pretty hard and the microbio content isn't my favourite which makes it really less engaging. Also, we were constantly behind schedule which made the quizzes cover content we didn't already cover in class. But he's a good prof.
Dr. Chua was a pretty decent prof. He went into a lot of detail during lecture and was willing to answer any questions. Although, I did find that sometimes he would go on a tangent while answering a simple question, which caused us to be behind schedule most of the time. You have to read the textbook to do well on the quizzes.
A tough grader. The assigments are sort of ridiculous and it says to be "brief" but then u get marks off if u dont say every little thing.
Good prof with good notes that are engaging, chosen videos are helpful for understanding content. He gave hints for the midterm throughout lecture.
He is a great prof, always charismatic in lectures. However, his exams are more difficult. There are quizzes every week and missing class can get you very far behind.
Chua was alright. Get ready to read from the textbook as it is a must for his portion of the class. He gave a lot of hints for the midterm exam so pay attention to his lectures! The content is not too difficult if you keep up with everything.
Dr. Chua was absolutely wonderful. I loved his portion of bio 243, and his lectures were always interactive. He also always responded to emails very quickly!
Good professor, well organized and thorough slides, quick to respond to emails. Midterm was BRUTAL, I barely passed and I started studying a month in advance and felt like I had a decent grasp of the material. Questions were very wordy and hard to understand sometimes.
The midterm was pretty difficult relative to other first year biology exams. Definitely keep up with the textbook readings and review the notes after class. Overall though, Dr. Chua responded very quickly to questions and his lectures were clear to understand.
He was a great prof whose lectures were pretty interesting. He gives hints about what was on the midterm, although the midterm was still pretty difficult. Make sure to come to class and take notes as well as review the notes often because it is hard to catch up if behind because he covers a lot of material.
he teaches all his lectures in very good detail and makes the lectures interesting for students. he's a kind professor who is brilliant and wants his students to succeed. whatever he says on the test will be for sure 100% be on the test, and you should take his advice and mainly focus on what he tells you to focus on!!
Lectures are entertaining and he is approachable but an extremely tough grader. He wants concise answers but then takes marks off for not including every little detail. There could be multiple correct answers but if you don't read his mind and write exactly what he wanted, you'll lose marks.
Good man. Good course. Grades took an extremely long time to be returned though
Just because this class has online components does NOT mean it will be easy. Assignments are based on whether you can hit the EXACT keywords. If you don't answer it the way he wants, you won't get a mark, even if there are multiple ways to answer the question. It's a fill-in-the-blank class except with whole sentences and paragraphs. Great prof tho
Great person and lecturer, but really tough marker. His assignments took way longer than he said they would, took a long time to get graded and returned, and the grading criteria was based on very specific word choice that you don't get to see until the grades are returned. That being said, he makes an effort to ensure students absorb material well
TOUGH ASSIGNMENT MARKER BUT THE FINAL EXAM WAS VERY FAIR. GAVE LOTS OF HINTS IN LECTURE THUS THE FINAL TESTED CONCEPTS HE MENTIONED IN CLASS SO SIMPLY REVIEWING LETURE SLIDES AND APPLYING KNOWLEDGE IS ENOUGH FOR ACING FINAL. Funny and engaging lecturer along with online video lectures if you miss a day or 2. Mans teaches like he actualy wants.
He's very passionate and always accessible outside class. He marked pretty tough but he was always available for office hours if you needed help with the assignments, and would steer you in the right direction. Extremely knowledgeable and encouraged questions in class. Very fair final, just go to class (and office hours!) and you'll be fine.
I thought Dr. Chua was an excellent prof. He had great lectures that he always made interesting. He tends to mark pretty tough and give challenging assignments, but never to the point in which they felt unfair.
Gordon Chua is a tough grader who encourages students to rely on the textbook for information, rather than including it in lecture. When asked a question during the exam, he gets irritated and does not even respond adequately. The exam average was 66.5 and that was the highest recorded average in several years, he also talks about med school A LOT
Dr. Chua is a phenomenal lecturer who explains concepts thoroughly and is readily available for office hours if needed. His exams on the other hand are brutal. They're extremely unfair and contain many questions whose comprehension of course material is far beyond an introductory course - exams are not reflective of student comprehension at all.
His tests are quite hard and I didn't do the best on his section of the course but he gave out lots of hints in lectures. He is an amazing lecturer (gets straight to the point, has effective notes) and tests on what was said in class, but the questions are still tricky. Easy to reach out for questions though. He's not an easy prof, but a good one.
Dr. Chua is kind. However, he lectures incredibly fast and some grading is slow and the criteria is absurd. If you fail to use one specific word or use the wrong one, you'll lose marks. He isn't forgiving if your grade needs to be rounded, unlike other CMMB profs. The course isn't insanely difficult, but be careful. There are better classes in CMMB
Great prof that has well-organized lectures, and gives hints in those lectures. Grading is tough, so make sure you read rubrics carefully. Overall, good professor.
Lectures are very clear and informative, and he is clearly passionate about what he teaches. Make sure you attend lectures, because he gives many hints about what will be on the exams. If you study what he tells you to, you'll do well in this class.
Chua is a great prof who is clear in his lectures and has great skeleton notes. He taught the first half of 243 and honestly his exam was really difficult and the class average was 60something. I think its mainly just because his portion of the course is very heavy, atleast for a first year course but overall still a great prof who gives hints.
Go to lecture he gives lots of hints, he explains things in a super simple way that's easy to understand. Assignment wasn't hard, but just take ur time and be careful. Midterm average was quite low, people complain about his tests but if you pay attention in class and do the practice quizzes easy A.
I've had Dr. Chua for several biology and CMMB courses. He's just a good guy. Solid professor and well respected in the university.
I would give you a 0, but that's not possible, so I give you a ONE.
Professor Chua's lectures are clear and informative. Attend class as he provides helpful hints for exams. The material is challenging, but using resources like the textbook, study sessions, and tools like unstuck AI can help you succeed. Overall a good professor, just requires dedication.
He would sometimes just tell us what was gonna be on the final which was nice, however there is little room for error if you want to receive an A in CMMB 461 because there's only 2 tests, 2 assignments, and the final. The tests and assignments were fair for the most part, although some of the questions could be confusing. Super down to earth guy.
Wish Dr. Chua could teach all the courses in the biosci department. He is clear, down to earth and extremely fair in his assessments. Study and ask questions, and you'll be more than fine.
His lecture style is great, even when the lectures are really heavy with content, he makes them understandable and interesting. My only gripe is that alot of the assignment grades took a long time to return, (maybe there aren't enough TA's?).
This was Dr. Chua's first time doing this course, which is a tough one. He did his best and as long as you out in the effort and go to class it is possible to get an A. Dr. Chua is always available to respond to questions and he would correct any mistakes when pointed out to him. I love taking courses with him and would recommend anyone to do it!
