he is a very helpful teacher. if you're willing to put effort into this class, he is willing to help you succeed. I recommend him to anybody. he's a very down to earth country guy who loves HOT DOGS...you'll see what I mean.

I took three classes from O'Neal, and he was great! I learned so much! He is not a hard teacher. If you do the work, you are fine.

Down to earth, very cool professor. KNOW your grammar, the first two weeks are devoted to it. Very intelligent and very funny. Gives plenty of class time to work on your essays. Use all the help that is provided for writing better papers, such as the writing center. I will take him for English II. I recommend this professor highly!

GREAT TEACHER! he was very easy, he's really nice and willing to give you the grade if you try. got an easy A in this class and went to class about half of the time.

This class was very easy. We had a diffrent type of essay due every few weeks and thats about it.

Took his course for ENGL I and II. Still knowledgeable, still cool. He can make you laugh out loud with some of his funny stories! Allows time for each essay and goes over topics so you have many to choose from. I highly recommend this professor.

Awesome professor! He's funny but still sticks to the subject. Just do the few papers he assigns and go to class (he gives you the questions that will be on the tests..so show up!)

this teacher is funny, dry and a good teacher, even though in this learning community he assigned 13 papers. He wasnt easy since this was a learning community but he was fair. he had high expectations.he is a tough grader. Papers and quizes were marked up purdy good. But I highly recommend this santa claus as a teacher since he will motivate you.

O'neal is great. supper easy, you really dont HAVE to read the stroies. Only bad thing, 6 total grades all semester long. 4 group projects and 2 test. Study hard for the exams because he doesnt give reviews. Great teacher. Explains everything!

Was not looking forward to this class when I registered, however, this quickly became the highlight of my day! Oneal knows so many things, class is infinitely entertaining as well as very educational. How does he know all this stuff? Makes Literature relevant to today's world, I promise! Take him- you will get your time & money worth and then some!

Professor O'Neal is rather easy. It is clear that he loves his subject material, but he goes off on tangents CONSTANTLY.

Okay, so I really didn't expect this class to be that much fun. English hardly ever is, but Gordon made it one of the best classes that I ever took in college! He even ordered pizza for the whole class on the last day as we watched a movie. He's really nice and adds his own little stories to everything. Two hours really fly by with him. 10/10 fosho

I took his class for Summer I. There was 5 essays and 1 grammar test. He gave plenty of time for each essay. He was very helpful too. He's funny, which makes clas interesting. Easiest English Professor Ever!! Took the class over summer and it didnt even feel like a fast paced class. Everyday we just talked about current events and how it relates to the papers we wrote. Overall we wrote 3 papers with a final. For the final we had to write about how did we like the class and him. SUPER EASY!

I wasn't sure how I felt about studying literature before Prof. O'Neal's class, but he actually made it fun to study and often hilarious to discuss. His class was a lot of fun--and being a night class, it was actually a good way to unwind after having other classes all day long. I'd highly recommend him for any lit. course he teaches. He's great.

O'Neal is very funny teaches through power point and lecture. He gives plenty of time to finish a paper and is very easy going.

Funny teacher who knows his stuff. He enjoys talking about the past of this town and he makes funny powerpoints. I had him in an experimental class mixed with history and he had excellent input for each topic. He is gifted in writing and history and is fun to learn from.

One of the best professors I've had. He is very willing to help if you need anything, and not afraid to tell you what you're doing wrong. Definitely helped me to become a better writer. TAKE HIM!!

I really enjoyed this class, he kept it interesting. His lectures were not boring. We had only 3 tests, including the final, 2 of them had at least partial take home essays. We did not do a single quiz. There were two group projects but they were easy. It took him a long time to give us our test grades, but I would take him again

He was one of the best English Professor's I've ever had. He was totally chill, easy going, funny, and his class was super easy! I recommend him to any freshman looking for a Easy start to your College start :)

Good learning experience. Interesting lectures and professor enjoys classroom discussions. He welcomes everyone's opinion. Go to class prepared (do assigned reading), take notes, and contribute to class discussion. Excellent exam reviews and clear instructions. Expect to write well on exam and papers. Lots of reading.

Best Professor at Collin. Take his class you will not regret. He is great and as long as you do what you have to do for class you will have and A. He is great.

World Lit class was heavily based in various religions. He is very knowledgeable about *all* religions and openly talks about each in a respectful manner whether the religion's actions were positive or negative.

Best professor I've ever taken. Funny, interesting, and loves the class he teaches. Read the material and listen to discussion, he often gives helps you with answers for his tests that are comprised of short answers. He really is a FANTASTIC professor.

Took this course during Summer 1, super easy class, my first college course out of HS. Great professor, is clear on what he asks of you, and he grades pretty easy. Would not recommend buying the textbook, but renting it. 4 essays total, no final, gave extra credit for going to writing lab.

Took a learning community style class with O'Neal, and he was awesome. He's very helpful when you need it and is negotiable when weird things happen during your projects. Get your research done and write your papers on time and an A will be an easy goal, but don't let yourself get behind because there are a lot of papers to write.

One of my favorite professors (if not my favorite) that I've taken at Collin. I loved his class, he made the subject very interesting! I will be taking his World Lit 2 class next semester as well. His tests are interesting and easy and he gives you plenty of time on them (they're also take home tests). Highly recommended!

Best professor I've had here by far and I graduate tomorrow. He's funny and makes an otherwise boring World Literature class fun. 3 test and 2 presentations or 2 papers (your choice). Tests are take home essay tests and he answers the questions in his lectures if you pay attention. May sound easy, but he makes you learn without you realizing it.

Great prof. Class was easy for me personally, but he is very helpful for those who need help. Doesn't grade hard and will make sure you understand. There is no reason you couldn't make an A. Gives many opportunities to raise your grade. Laid back guy and you will actually learn something.

I would recommend this class. O'Neal is a great teacher and taking this class was not hard. collaborative papers can be difficult but are different. 2 MLA and one Chicago Style. and there are 8-10 movies and papers for each movie. His grading is fair.

He's very approachable & will tell you everything you need to know in order to get an A. Do what he says and you'll get a good grade. He's hilarious and makes class fun! It was a great class. Having English 1302 and History 1302 together was interesting and homework was not hard. collaborative papers are good but can be difficult if you cant meet with your class mates. it was fun doing Hollywood vs History

Professor O'Neal is great! He is very helpful in constructing essays and choosing topics. He grades fairly and is always available to help. I highly recommend him to any one who has trouble writing essays.

Great class!!! I was nervous about taking World Lit but he made it possible for me to achieve a B. 3 take home test, MLA essay form but easy, 1 test group project, 5 quizzes, class participation , read the book.... He's very animated teacher, showed several old clips from you tube.

Great Class! Easy A if you stay on top of your papers! History through Hollywood, does it get better than that? LECTURES!!! Movies and a Monday paper each week, 3 group papers (7-10 pages). Informative, funny jokes, and relatable...I would def take it again! Short and O'Neal ROCK!!!!

Professor O'Neal is by far the best teacher/professor I've ever had. He gives the prompt for papers, then allows the entirety of class time to be used to write. We had a total of 5 graded assignments and several weeks to work on each one. If you're looking for an English class, THIS IS THE ONE YOU WANT. 11/10 Professor.

You're grade is determined by 3 essays. He goes over essay questions in class, so just show up. World Lit can be very brutal and boring, but this guy does a good job.

Profesor O'Neal was awesome! I took Literature 1 with him, and it was an easy A. Showing up to class helps cover the writing prompts in the "tests", which are just take-home essays. He makes the content easy to understand, and is a very interesting and humorous lecturer. Would definitely take again!

Hes really funny and knows what hes doing; would give us PLENTLY (at least 2 weeks for all 5 essays) of time to write our papers. Rented the 2 books, but never opened them. He gives the prompt and says what he wants clearly. If you want a laid-back, great English teacher, then take him!! Wish I could take him for all my English classes.

He is really nice and is willing to help you in anyway he can. World Lit is really boring to me but he tries to add some humor to it and also tells many of his own stories. You have 3 test (papers) with 2 weeks to work on them. All you do is answer a prompt. The only time I open the books is to quote them in my paper.

Its impossible to not make an A in his class. Unless you dont show up and dont care. He knows literature can get boring so he makes it very fun. Best teacher Ive ever had hands down.

Professor O'Neal is so funny and easy-going! His class was not difficult at all, you have to write a couple of essays on various topics and watch some videos he shows you and really just pay attention. His lectures can be entertaining. 10/10 would recommend taking, he's an easy A+! He's not at all strict when it comes to grading.

He is a really good professor. You are given three papers out of the whole semesters and he lets you work in groups! You are made to read obviously but it really is not at all hard!

I LOVE this professor SO MUCH! I took him for English 1301 and had to take him again and was not disappointed! Next semester is his last so if you want an amazing English professor he is the one to take! He is a super easy grader and you really learn from his classes. I am so thankful I got to take his classes and recommend him to EVERYONE!!
