WORST CLASS I HAVE EVER TAKEN! Financial Accounting...
Difficult class! Lots of homework and extra projects. If you must take this class, balance it with an easier one. Asking questions can be damaging to your self-esteem.
Don't even think about her, she is the hardest and the worst professor aaat PBCC; lot, lot, lot of homework, lot of prjects, plus testes are very hard. She is not good at all.
I got an A in Financial and a B in Managerial. Do your work and study hard is a must. And dont quit out. If she sees your effort, she will work for you as hard as you do. Neither are easy classes but Ms Stuart is very helpful if you ask.
If you want an easy A find someone else. If you want to know what accounting is all about Mrs. Stuart is the best. She is very organized, helpful if you are seious about learning and challenging. Prepare to use your brain when you walk into her class!
Excellent teacher, very friendly you need to talk and participate to get a good grade I got a A in financial which there were only 4 in all her classes. there is a free tutor who comes in some selected classes. Alot of homework and group projects. you will leave the class an educated comumer!

Very rude and saracastic, always on vacation and gives you an attitude about everything. Alright professor, the only thing that helps you pass the online class are the group projects...tests are quite difficult.
Professor Stuart will challenge you...and if you are not afraid to make the effort, you will be rewarded for it. Her classes prepared me for Sr level classes, unlike any other professor. Those who are lazy and not willing to learn, she is not the professor for you.

If you want to learn accouting, take her class. She will not make anything easy for you, but if you apply yourself to the class you will learn alot.
I got an A on all the test while I was taking 5 other classes. Apperantly, her test is not that hard if u do the homeworks.

Slackers beware, she is not the professor for you. If you do the homework though (which can be long) and go to her classes, the material becomes very clear and her tests become "easy". She's also willing to help IF YOU ASK. She can be a bit of a hard ass though during class.
She's an EXCELLENT teacher!! Comes off as pretty tuff, but she has a great sense of humor and if your in her class to learn accounting you WILL in fact do so.

One of the worst teachers I've ever had. Ask for explanations and she simply repeats her unclear directions. She is very nasty and sarcastic. I don't understand how she gets paid to sit at her computer and bash students..I'd hardly call her a teacher...
here is the deal with mrs stuart. she is old school, religous lady from the islands. she is tough on punk kids, slackers, and has no tolerence for them. HOWEVER she is a great teacher and will teach you real world accounting and wants you to learn she seems like a grumpy nasty lady, but if you try and work hard, which she can tell!! she is a softy
Prof Stuart is not an easy teacher. However, if you commit to reading the chapters, you can pass the class. If you have her online, she perfers student interaction with questions, but she will jump in and help if the answers are wrong. She makes you really think about the material. Her tests are difficult if you havent read the chapters.

The worst teacher i have ever had! You make one mistake on something, she takes off a ton of points. Not understanding for crap. I took her online but i rather take it online and it be harder then have to sit and listen to her negative boring attitude!!!!! Stay away!

Awful teacher! She is a hypochondriac, family bashing, lonely woman. She talks about herself half the class, and the other half she criticizes and corrects the book. Yet, she has published ZERO books! If you are on her good side, you will pass. If not, kiss your GPA goodbye. Lots of drama stories for a scientific (black or white) class.

I took the online ACG2022 Financial Accounting course and the assignments and tests match the book very well. She assigns the right amount of work in order for you to learn the subject. She is tough and will mark down if you are off base with your answer but overall a fair teacher. Tests are challenging and you must study hard to pass her course.
This class was challenging as hell most of the time ppl just came in and slept right through it. I had no choice but to take this class if your have a choice DONT take it!!!!!!!!!!!!

professor stuart is very kind and humble and wants you the student to learn. she cannot tolerate students who slack off and talk in her class when she's trying to teach. this isn't high school so prepare to work hard and read the material well. she gives alot of assignments that really helps to boost your grade.very good teacher just show interest

Nice enough,but RUN! away from her class if at all possible. She makes you jump through so many loops and hurdles, that is definitely not a class with a full time job and family to attend to. Her class is more like two classes, requires extra hours and more than basic computer knowledge.
I agree with you. At first, the teacher seems very hard but if you read the chapters before coming to class, you''ll get a good grade. When Ms Stuart sees that you are really trying to get your grades up, she'll do anything she can to help you. But if you don't care, she won't care either because we are not babies, we have to take responsibility!
Extremely difficult class online class. On your own learning, but she will answer questions. Accounting is not that hard, unless she is your professor. She is not a very nice person. Take someone else, even if you have to go to class instead of online.
Completely agree with the last comment. Professor Stuart is a very nice lady as far as you trying... I'm an international student, and it was my second class in US. She suggested me to wait a couple semesters before taking this class. I didn't wait and got A's in both of her classes. Just read the book and do the homework!
Look people, accounting in general is hard, you need to study, and you need to read the chapters, if you don't you will fail. We started out with 30+ students in our class and end with just over 15, I was the only one going into the final with an A. But don't blame the teacher, she gives you every oportunity to pass. Find a study group and STUDY!!!
Very knowledgeable about accounting, but not good at teaching it. She won't teach you anything, but will respond to your questions. If you're going to take accounting, find a different professor- not because her class is too hard, but because you won't learn much.
this is what a real proffesor is like, you not going to get everything given to you, this is a teacher that wants to push her students, or just the ones that care, some might think she is horribal, but like me if you study and stay with the class you finish with at least a B, so grow up and start taking these big classes seriously
This class i would have to admit was a challenge, I took it online and passed with a B. But what didnt help was Professor Stuart and her slick remarks to questions concerning tests or homework. Note* Never email her something about a test unless the test has closed lol wow this teacher had issues!
All comments are consistent with Prof Tuggle! She has a "group" assignment that is really an individual assignment but she forces you to do it as a group to turn in one copy and only grades that one. At the end she gave notes but they weren't at all helpful. When you do ask questions you get attitude. Buy the book not the ebook. Do H.W.to pass
ACCOUNTING IS NOT LEARNED THROUGH OSMOSIS!! That means STUDY STUDY STUDY. Yes shes tough but because shes one of the few teachers that are left that care. Do the homework or you wont understand. Buy the studyguide and do the practice problems in it as well as the ones she assigns to you. Its alot but do it. Trust me you'll be okay just focus. =)
You'll essentially have to teach yourself if you take her class. She does not allow you to ask for any clarification on test questions, and attempts to intimidate you if you suggest a different answer might be correct. Won't let you skate by without learning accounting, at least. Could be a good teacher, but her attitude towards students is lacking
WORST PROFESSOR I HAVE TAKEN IN MY LIFE! Rude, unreliable, not willing to help you, just a horrible prof! Took her for Fin accting online & you will be lucky if she answers ANY questions! I had to rely on classmates to answer questions I had b/c she had no interactions with the class. & DONT miss a test! Even if you are dying, you cant make it up!
She wants you to wade through about 29 pgs of syllabus and class procedure crap instead of being simple and to the point. For lacking brevity, she offered no clarity, and seems rather callous towards helping her students. Her ppt slides are unreadable bc they literally zip by. Her Ch notes are HORRENDOUS, even for someone who knows the material
Her CH notes are not representational of the text,and neither are her tests. Terminology/Questions not anywhere in the book or her notes or her powerpoint slides show up on quizzes. I would know, because I already took the class and read the whole book; otherwise I would have been extremely lost and confused by her explanations. WORST TEACHER EVER
She is agood Professor but a strict person. She is always help her students, she is also a councelor for her students.
Very rarely do I find a teacher I need to warn others about, but this class and professor fits the bill. Not only was this class impossibly tough, but to boot, Prof. Stuart was incredibly rude when answering ANY questions. Stay AWAY from this class, it was the worst choice I've ever made regarding an online course & professor.
This is COLLEGE people, stop crying and study for once. Accounting is the a tough class but if you study and go to class you will pass. She is very clear whats on her 5 tests and she is very clear on her notes. Take good notes and ask questions when you dont get it. I had 5 classes including this one and got a B. Took online - big mistake. I had to teach myself from the book, ended up with a B. Avoid if you can. Study even free second you have if you can't.
I received an A in this class but it was definitely a headache. The KEY to passing this class is to take the online section and read the textbook thoroughly! It is a very good textbook and her lecture notes and ppt slides are useless. Not once did I use them and still passed. She is VERY cold in her exchanges and I didn't find her to be much help.
i would suggest a quick shot to the head first, perhaps jump off a bridge...but do not take this course. you will have to jump through hoops and do excessive work. she takes pride in making you suffer
- So much to read. Fail mandatory orientation to start with. She's obviously nuts- who does that? sign a contract and attach documents with her name for points. So much to do. online assignments are a headache.
Attendance is mandatory. She is rude and not willing to help anyone. Her teaching skills include playing an audio power point with her voice recorded the entire class. You pretty much teach yourself or go to a tutor. Her grading is unreasonable and don't ask questions in class, she will try to make you look stupid for ever asking such a question
Very unhelpful. The directions on her assignments are not clear and designed to trick you. Her notes do not go with her quizzes and exams. WileyPlus assignments take over 10 hours to do 8 questions, and the assignments are useless, it doesn't have anything to do with the tests or exams. I regret ever taking this class. Do not take in the summer!!
Tough class. Fair teacher. A lot of work but if you keep to the schedule you will be okay. This is an upper level course, it is not designed to be easy!! I sent her several emails and she responed within 24 hours. The quizes/test/homework are comprehensive and fair. Study and you will be okay. This is college not grade school.
This is a very hard class. Lots of homework. You will pass if you participate and study! I would not take it in the summer since the work load is heavy. Be prepared to practice and not to receive much help from the instructor.
Yes, the class is hard. Of course it is, it's not high school. And she's very upfront about it. I don't have a problem with the class. My issue is with her. We corresponded the last few days of class regarding the Group Project. The tone and verbage in her emails were VERY patronizing and disrespectful.
She's intimidating. Can make you feel like an idiot. I missed two consecutive classes and was completely lost for the whole class. I managed to pull a C+ with self teaching. I could've gotten a B if I would've done my homework. It counts for 15%. Good luck!
Class is very hard! Teacher is very nice, but the subject matter is hard no matter who you take it with. She did offer extra credit at the end though which really bumped my grade!
This subject is hard no matter who your teacher is. The syllabus is very straight forward. Spend about 2 or 3 hours on homework a week, with a 30 minute quiz based off your textbook reading. Only a chapter a week. Really not that bad.
There are 2 group assignments which are a pain. Overall the course wasn't too bad. The teacher is strict on what she is looking for in her projects. She doesn't respond quickly to e-mail. Overall not a terrible course, but you have to apply yourself and start the group projects early.
Professor is degrading and rude; responds to emails quickly, however is not very helpful and rarely actually answers your questions directly. I have a B, so I am doing fine in the class, but if you are someone who needs help as this is a really intensive class, I would NOT recommend her.

I enjoyed taking ACG2022 with Professor Stuart. It was a hybrid course and involved a lot of studying on my own but it was well worth it. She was amazing and really inspired me to study hard. I would love to take her again but the group assignments were something that I do not want to do again. Dealing with group members was stressful for me.
Probably the worst professor ive taken. She was not helpful at all and youll take her test but the answers wont match at all.
I've never disliked a teacher more in my entire life! She expects student to answer every question she has and if you don't provide the right answer she yells. She's extremely disrespectful and her expectations are very unreasonable. She doesn't explain why points are taken off on group projects and her negative attitude gave me anxiety.

She does not help you when you ask questions. She will make you feel dumb in front of the class and laugh to herself about your question. She is very knowledgeable but her lectures are just recordings of her reading the chapter. Did not like the professor. She is nice outside of class but when it comes to class work she is very condescending. I thought professors are supposed to be empowering, not dis-empowering. It s like her objective is to make you feel little. I like how she doesnt tell you the answer right away but makes you figure it out . I would not take her again
I took her for a summer course years ago and she was tough. I learned a lot and really respect her. I wish I knew what a great teacher she was while I was in her class. I would definitely take a class of her again.
The worst professor I've ever had at palm beach state. Actually called our class "stupid". She sets you up for failure on day 1 and makes the class seem way more difficult than it actually is. Tells irrelevant stories about herself. Not willing to help her students and takes every chance to belittle you. DO NOT TAKE HER CLASS.
Professor is a CPA, she does not know how to explain and break down material for students to understand. expects student to FULLY understand material from get go. If there's a question she would either refer you to syllabus, chapter(s) for answer(s) or ridicule you in front of class to the point of making you cry or leave class. YELLS A LOT.
This class is not an easy A. There is very little instruction given with the online class. Be ready to study your butt off and get tutoring. I recommend taking this class in school rather than online if possible. I have not taken her in person but I imagine there would be more instruction given then teaching yourself online.
Professor is using a teaching style that was appropriate decades ago. I do understand that she is an accounting instructor and this is a serious topic but constant criticism and negativity are bad teaching practices. For example, instead of trying to initiate a discussion by asking a question she complains that no one is posting anything.
She used to play her voice recordings in class so she didnt have to talk. What is the point of going to class if I can listen to recordings at home or even better: watch accounting classes on youtube for free and then just sit for the CLEP. The group project was useless too. Everyone just used the solutions from the text or got outside help.
Professor isnot kind nor is she a good teacher. My final semester at PBSC and she was definitely the worst. Be prepared if you take online that she does not grade quickly or fairly, she doesn't give good feedback, only insulting feedback. She is the only professor that has actually been rude to me when asking questions about the material.
Reads out of the textbook during class, lectures aren't helpful for the homework and plays videos of her lecturing instead of actually lecturing in class. Does not teach what's in the homework and I needed to do all of it in the lab. Makes you feel stupid for asking questions and class is VERY boring! Writes on the board in illegible handwriting.
One of the best teachers I've ever had. She's super nice and and very caring. She will not simply give you the answers if that's what you are looking for, she makes you think. I thought she was great. I am very surprised by the negative reviews.
Weekly accounting homework and quizzes. Homework is nothing like the tests and you really need to read and focus on the first part of the course. She is a tough grader and the tests are difficult. Tests are webcam but can use notes and calculator. She gives extra credit so take advantage of all opportunities. Difficult for a non-accounting major.
I loved taking professor Stuart. You need to read the chapters before you go to class. DO NOT ask her questions about the chapter if you haven't read the chapter before you go to class. Quizzes are so easy just make sure you practice on WP. At the beginning she might seem mean but she is the sweetest professor. I'm taking her again for managerial.
If your major is accounting, she is the professor you need. She will make you work for your grade. Read before you go to class. Test are hard but if you do the ORION you WILL pass (guaranteed). Don't listen to those negative reviews. Don't just take a professor to pass, take a professor to understand accounting.
This Class Sucks she provides no help and you have to teach yourself
The teacher is extremely terrible to say the least. If you asked for help, read the material, she doesn't explained but just read the material. I think her mind set is stuck on the ancient time of teaching, that was my first worst experience ever. She a terrible teacher, she just terrible on every sense, teaching and explaining.
