This guy is awesome. his class is probably the easiest class i have taken (probably the only class that i will ever thake thats gonna be this easy). the only problem is that you have to go to class to get the notes cause thats whats on the test.

Easiest Bio class ever. Very good and helpful teacher. Everything you need to know is from his notes. Only 5% if even that of his tests are from the book. Easy straight forward tests. Great class and you actually learn. Very good and laid back teacher.

Awesome professor. Does not take roll, but if you want to do good on the exams go to class and take down the notes. All his notes are on the exams. three exams and a final. no other work is done in the class.

i havent taken the other bio prof. but ive heard fox is the easiest one..he was easy for me.. u dont really have to go to class. if u have a friend in there u can take turns going to class and taking notes cuz whats on the notes is whats on the test.. and the tests arent hard at all

SOOOO easy. Just go to class and study the notes and you'll do fine. Only 3 exams and the final is cumulative. I didnt even read the book and I got good scores on the exams. You really dont need the book anyway. Highly recommended for those who hate biology and need to pass.

DON'T BUY THE BOOK! His exams are based only on the lecture. If you arrive to class and take good notes then you will suceed. The final is cumulative, BUT u get to keep the copy of the midterms after the exam so you can study for the final. I read CHAP 1 & parts of DNA. I still go an A in the class.

easiest class ever!! just dont buy the $120 book cuz u wont need it at all. all the tests are based only on his notes that he writes down on the board. if u try then there is no way u wont get an A.

I got low grades on the 2 first tests but aced the last 2 and got a B in the class. NO book required and attendence should be good but not neccessary. He is the best bio teacher at csun and he is UNDERSTANABLE!!!

Prof. Fox is a very good professor! He is straight forward, he lectures, we take notes study the notes, and you will get an A. It's highly reccomended you have a Biology book, just in case, but you dont HAVE to have one. Please take him, he is really a very good Biology professor!!

Very easy class, you don't need the book, tests are from the notes and he tells you what to study. He even gave us an extra credit assignment.

Great guy, really funny and knows his stuff. He is worth taking just for the experience of his class. I sat in front and never bought the book and got a high grade. Tests are multiple choice, buy the book for reinforcement of facts-you CAN survive w/o it. Easy but don't take it for granted.

This is not an easy class. 1st test, average score out of a 100% was 58%! U need to study in this class. Tests are not only on lecture, need the book - I would recommend him since he is a VERY nice professor and is always available but dont think this is a piece of cake class.

Great lecture class, answers all questions, tests are still really hard, the avredge score was 58% on the first test. I studied just the notes and got an 82% I knew them front and back. So If you want to get an A Get the book, I did better on my second test because I read it! A in the class! Nice teacher helpful, a tad sarcastic, dont talk in class

He is not that easy! The guy that got an 82% on the first test had notes and exams from someone who took the class, he is not that bright, believe me! Fox heard about this website and toughened up on us. You DO have to read and go to class, but it's not hard to pass at all. But if you want the A, read the book and take good notes, not hard to pass.

okay i love this guy, hes sooooo cute, and has the best sence of humor. his quizzes are easy, his labs are fun, and u get to leave as soon as your finished, and so thats like 2 hours earlier than expected...lol...I LOVE HIM SOOOOO MUCH!!!

Fox is prolly the coolest professor you could have for lab. We got to leave once we were done and the labs were pretty easy to do. He explains well and cares about his students. He gives 5 quizzes and you gotta study for them if you're aiming for an A. Go over the notes he gives in class and the labs and you should be fine. HIGHLY RECCOMMEDED!!!

i took this professors last semester and i just had to write about how great of a teacher he is. He really funny and caring. There is 5 quiz, so just do really well on those and u'll be fine. He the best teacher and he always make me laugh in class. if you ever need help, ask him because he is always willing to reach out to his student and help. t

He's a very funny guy. He teaches from powerpoint and knows what he's doing. He's very helpful when you have questions so dont hesitate asking him for help when you need it. Very down to earth and chill. Go to his class and study the notes for the tests, you'll do fine.

Fox is a very good teacher, makes class fairly interesting and breaks up the monotony of the subject matter with some humor. Skim the book, memorize key words, and attend lectures...of course, this helps in any class, but he'll tell you what to study, so go! If you go to class, you will be just fine. Cheers Fox.

The lectures were pretty dull but not his fault its biology, he makes the class entertaining amusing stories. He is clear about whats on the tests, he offers the lectures as power point online, so attendance is not mandatory but usefull, study and pay attention u will do well.

Highly recommend professor Fox! I am so glad that i took him last semester! He has a great sense of humor and creates a no-pressure environment. Exams are easy as long as you study, no tricky questions. Very helpful and a really nice person.I wish he taught other classes that i need!

Greatest Professor. Easy A if u study his lectures and attend his class. lectures are boring but he is a very funny guy. The class gets canceled every once in a while. Tells u what is on the test. No quizzes or homework. Sometimes does powerpoint and its a lot of notes, so make sure to do your daily studying. u can print notes from his website.

Take Professor Fox if you want an easy Biology 100 class. It is not mandatory to attend class and all of his powerpoints are online. The tests are fairly easy and there are only three of them plus the final throughout the semester. He's a pretty funny guy but if you are a biology major I would suggest taking someone else.

Excellent Teacher! You don't even need to buy the book for his class! Just take notes and pay attention. Simple as that. Makes jokes, and sometimes is random, but still teaches.

lectures were always entertaining. use of textbook was minimal. 2 exams and 1 final. he doesn't provide a studyguide. but if find his old exams use them as studyguides, they were similar to his current exams.

Very easy class as long as show up to take the notes for the material that is covered on the midterms. Class consists of 2 midterms + 1 final. Let's class out early sometimes as well.

Best Professor here in CSUN. I totally recommend this professor. Very easy class. His test is multiple choices and he give you all that you need "reviewer" before you take the exam. He let the class go early sometimes too. Easy A!!!!! Take him :)

Fox is awsome! By far the most entertaining Biology class on campus! He is super funny, keeps the class interesting and you dont even use the book at all. Just take good notes, everything on the test will be out of his notes! and keep your scantrons, and test sheets you will need them for the final.

Love Prof. Fox. My high school teacher didn't think I would make it in college bio, but with the help of Prof. Fox, I made it out with an A. I studied from my notes and never used the text. He teaches you what you need to know (not extra stuff) and enjoys teaching. He knows when it's appropriate to have fun. My favorite topic? The Zombie Apocalypse

One of the easiest bio professors at CSUN. There are 4 multiple choice exams (non are cumulative). Provides a study guide saying exactly what will be tested. Book not very necessary. Lectures are posted online. EASY A!!!...but if you are serious about MCAT/DAT he's not the best to learn from. Just a good GPA booster. Didn't learn anything though.

Took Professor Fox for Anatomy physiology II he is very nice. I think he is a very understanding and nice professor. Most of his tests are from practice questions out of the book so study those.
