This class is really easy if you do your work and follow his instructions. He gives so many easy assignments that help you with your grade. He really cares about his students and is the nicest guy. I would take him again for any class. Little things make him mad, but overall he is the best teacher i've had so far!

Greg is a really great guy and very helpful. He really wants you to succeed, the online journals are kind of annoying but easy. you can also miss up to 5 classes before getting dropped

Man, Mr. Loyd is by far one of the coolest. He has a pet cow which is different and a new dog and all of that stuff makes him human. I got an A and I am the worst writer ever, but he was always positive and wasn't real strict on attendance. He just wants you to do the assignments and he grades really easy A+++ teacher. Great teacher! Quite a few papers but he is an easy grader. He doesn't care about your attendance, but he is always there to help you and really wants you to succeed. Has sense of humor and always goes on tangents to tell stories of his. If you do go to class he almost always lets out early.

Greg is a cool teacher. He is pretty laid back as long as you do you assignments, which consist of mostly writing; as he is an english teacher. He will help you as much as he can and I think he's all around a great guy and teacher!

Took his class this fall. Got an A. Pretty easy doesn't require you go to class, very helpful and caring. Will give help if needed. No one should get less then a B in the class. Just participate and go to class even tough its not required.

This is the greatest teacher you will meet. He is what you want in a professor. He does not go by politics but rather what should be the way of teaching. He is not a hard grader in detail but rather a grader in thought. If you take advantage of his kindness, goodhearted teachings you will be assured an A. Enjoy it for a class you will rarely have.

You do all the five essays before the deadline then you will pass with a good grade. Also he does journals which are opinion so another easy grade. Class is boring and he is kind of a push over. If you want an easy A take his class but if you actually want to learn then choose another teacher. He is a really sweet guy but I felt like I was back in 3rd grade. He use to not take attendance but now he does.

He doesn't penalize you for simple stuff, he acknowledges it that it is an error and identifies what you need to work on so that you writing technique during college will get better. Can't ask for anything better.Got an A!!!

I had him a few years ago at Waycross College. Judging from others comments, I'd say he hasn't changed a bit. I still consider him my favorite professor. He incorporates everything that a good teacher should be. He is super sweet, he's passionate about teaching, he's fair, and always willing to help. He's kinda cute too. ;)

This teacher is a very hard teacher. He gives a TON A TON of work, even in his web classes. He is very particular and strict on the rules he establishes, but claims to grade on a curve. Follow his exact guidelines and work your butt off, and you should pass.

My. Loyd is hilarious! He also is a great teacher who is there to help anyone! He really cares about his students. He post example essay's of all of the assigned essays we have to do. You can work straight from the example to organize your paper and make sure it is correct. You will get a A as long as you turn in assignments and show you care!

Mr. Loyd does everything in his ability to make this class fun. He doesn't require attendance, but you obviously gain his favor if you come. There are three essays which he explains very well. They shouldn't be too difficult to get high A's on. There are journals due every week online though. They were very easy but I consistently forgot them

One of the best professors I've ever had. He is a great guy that wants all of his students to succeed. For each paper, there will be "professor review day" the class before the paper is due. GO TO IT! If you do, its almost guaranteed that you will make an A or really close to it.

Mr. Greg has the biggest heart ever! I absolutely hate writing papers and had a horrible experience with ENC 1101. But he makes you feel special and gives great advice on how to make your paper better. Do the online journals and quizzes. They are super easy (time consuming but worth the free 100!) And e-mail him. He will go out of his way to help you get an A, as long as you have the desire to do the assignments. I would take him again if possible, Mr. Loyd's class was easy, but I learned a lot and that's what counts.

With essays he lets you choose what topic you want to write about and then a week before your paper is due he takes a class to look over your drafts and tells you what you need to fix so your guaranteed to get an A. There are 2 journals a week. They are easy you just got to take the time to do it.

Took Prof Loyd for 1102 and he was awesome. He assigned 3 papers and one presentation, and that was it. Very easy class! He will spend most of the class telling funny stories or debating things. Would highly highly suggest taking him!

Greg Loyd was a amazing teacher. I took him Summer B term in Express and he made the class go by smoothly. I didn't feel rushed on papers and he would always helped us if we needed help on them. You could miss a couple days and still be on track. I would definitely recommend him !!!

Majority of grades are free write entries, quizzes, and a couple big writing essays. That will be the biggest part of your grade.

Mr. Loyd loves teaching. His class is fun. He has you write three big papers, and like 20 small 200-word essays. Very fair to easy grading. I was already pretty good at writing, but he taught me how to be better organized and focused. There are also 10 online grammar quizzes that are easy. Would def. rec. Easy A, unless you're completely dense.

Take him! He's laidback and not a tough grader. He wants you to enjoy English. He does assign 6 essays and 20 journals. However, they're not difficult and he'll be happy to help. Even though he's an amiable guy, he can be stern. Once I saw him kick somebody out of class. For the record, the student was rude. On a positive note, I'd take him again.

Absolutely amazing teacher, attendance isn't mandatory, there was like 3 in class assignments and 2 papers, gives you a ridiculous amount of time to do all your assignments. Final exam is an inclass essay, lets you bring an outline (basically prewrite your final) 100000% would take again. Ended with a 96% and went to class probably 5 times.
