good teacher, fair tests and explains the material fairly well. He is a good character too, funny at times and classes are fairly interesting. Kinda looks and talks like Nicholas Cage. Good guy in general

Very smart(note: many big,strange words in lectures!).If you ask for help, he'll offer a lot of suggestions. Intro poli sci is rather dry...so not a very exciting class but he's a great guy. Definately recommend him. Define terms on test/assignments!!

Greg is a good guy. His lectures are pretty good, not a lot of overheads, great vocab...take a dictionary to class. There a 2 exams and a non-cumulative final plus one-essay...the essay is not fun at all! Good marker, fair. Go to class & take notes.

Very knowledgeable and smart prof. Do not expect an "A" without luck and much reading, as he tends to be a fairly tough marker. Class is interesting but make sure you know yer stuff!

Gregory is a good and knowledgeable instructor. Very keen on details when marking papers and exams. Lectures are a bit dry, but course structure is good, and amount of assignments is manageable.

Boring lectures drag on, which encouraged me to skip lessons, but he marks generously. At times I was certain of failing tests i mustered a B- to my great surprise. Test are easy, Term paper requires some effort but overall easy class.

Very Clear; likes to pause in middle of lecture for students' reponse. Gives 'suggested topics' for midterms, yet he is a tedious marker when it comes to grammer. Very Smiley , howver the lectures are on going and lots of overhead notes

Greg is a very tough teacher. He marks assignments with very high standards. He gives extensive feedback that if you implement will truly improve your writing. His classes are fun and entertaining. The best part is the mock trials and legislature debates. I'm glad he covered feminism.

very easy to understand, although at times can bore you to sleep. Marking wise, he is fair, so if you do your readings and you pay attention in class, you should be able to get at least a B.

He tries his best to teach. He takes forever on each subject..Writing notes is clear since he repeats the same thinkg ten times. Hes a hard marker..nice tests...but****ty critical summaries. He marks really hard on them...If ur a good student expect a B plus.

He is a great teacher and he really explains things well. Sometimes the classes go slowly because he caters to the slackers, but his classes are interesting and laid back. Lots of group discussion in class which is great if people want to talk, and painfully slow if no one has done the readings. Took a second class with him because of his teaching.

He is very clear and explains well :) Also, he has a great passion for poli. But he marks homework and term paper with high standard. If u read ur textbook and ask lots of questions, u will be fine in his class! He is a good looking instructor!

Greg is the most intelligent professor I have come across at Kwantlen. I entered his Ideologies & Politics class knowing very little about the subject and came away with useful knowledge and a good grade. I pity the fool who does not take this course.

Greg is Kwantlen's best for poli sci. He is not an easy marker. But he gives incredible feedback and loves to help you learn. Don't take him for an easy grade, but take if you want an easy going but productive experience. He's also much, much more organized than he used to be a couple years ago.

I think Greg is a great teacher, he give you amazing feedback and not to mention he is extremly sarcastic and funny. He actually wants you to learn the material and if you want to learn it, he will make sure you do! My first paper for his class wasnt that great but he sat down with me and helped me. I totally would recommend him!

Greg is a great prof with a passion to teach. He gives great feedback and his lectures are anything but boring. He is somewhat particular with his tests and papers so make sure you do put in a decent effort with correct use of terms and EXPLAIN the terms! Highly recommended.

Fair marker. Will help you if you have questions. Responds to emails quickly. Expect to do a lot of reading. 10 pg essay and other smaller asst. Short essays for the mid-term and final, which are based on readings. Questions are given before hand, so you know exactly what to study.

Totally cool prof. I wouldn't call him the easiest prof that I have ever had, but definitely not an unfair or difficult marker. Super nice guy too.

Prof Millard, is probably the best Political Science Prof @ Kwantlen. I'm a major in Political Science and I only take his courses, because he is so clear in his lectures and will help you in any way he can so you understand. He also has "some funny" jokes here and there, I would recommend this guy to every Political Science student.

Will try to help you out any way. Tries to make himself clear as possible. A lot of class discussion but you are not compelled to talk. SO make sure you read your stuff. will give you questions to study before test and the test is out of those questions. 1 mid term, 1 paper, 1 critque, and 1 final.

ive only taken 3 classes before at kwantlen but this guy is by far the best prof ive had there, hes smart and totally hilarious.

He gives you the questions to the mid-term and final exam a week before so it's really easy to get a good grade on them.

I took Prof. Millard for multiple classes in my first year for one reason, THIS GUY CAN TEACH! He is approachable individual who has an interest in his students succeeding (if you want to that is. He never puts people down, and gives LOTS of feedback on papers.

This Professor has very interesting lectures and gives you the exam questions prior to writing them, so it is very easy to get a good mark. But be aware on writing your essay though, b/c he is a hard marker on those:( I received a B+, with minimal work so good professor;)

Awesome Prof! I am upset this semester because I did not get him! I will definitely take his class again! Easy assignments, tests are fairly easy, just goes over what he talks about in class. You need to participate..or else he'll call on you! Fun class! RECOMMEND!!

Greg is a good teacher. His lessons are super clear and he is very helpful. Only 2 assignments and 1 paper in his class aside from the midterms and final. He is down to earth and easy to talk to.

Explains each ideology fom a proponent's POV and does a great job. Very articulate and engaging. Hard marker, provides topics of in-class essays ahead of time and expects well-thought out, well-planned essays. Most people try to subscribe to a single ideology; this is closed-minded, there is truth in all of them and Greg shows that. Highly recommen

i took this teacher twice and now I'm taking him again, he's the only teacher out of all the polisci teachers that is actually good and he marks average but can be an easy if you actually do the work, his tests are really easy, its basically essay writing but he tell u what the essay topic is going to be beforehand which makes it really easy

If you're not interested in Poli Sci, Greg will gently and entertainingly introduce you to the subject. If you are interested in Poli Sci, Greg will engage you, teach you, and help you understand things from a new perspective.

Very engaging class. Make sure you do all of your readings as they are mandatory. Gives you essay q's prior to final so study them. Hard marker, but very clear and encouraging.

I had Dr Millard in my first semester and really enjoyed his class. He is the kind of teacher who you will remember 20 years because of his great high energy in his lectures. Millard marks in a way that I think is fair, he will give you decent grades on assignments, assuming you know what is expected and apply the principals needed. :) Funny too!

Very helpful and engaging. Genuinely wants students to contribute and be interested. Class discussion is encouraged and a big part of the course. You will find basset hounds make excellent metaphors ;). Not bad to look at, and an intelligent individual. Takes the job seriously.

Extremely helpful prof.Textbooks are needed and you MUST do all readings.If not,it'll be a lot to catch up on for the final.No exams, just the final:6 q's 2 weeks before, LONG q's but he doesn't mark hard.A 5 minute presentation based on an ideology and an issue. 8 assignments worth 26% in total.Dont take this class if you don't like hw.6-7pg paper

Excellent teacher. Millard is probably the best poli-sci prof in Kwantlen. Very engaging in class and a fair marker. Class isn't mandatory but he teaches so well, you wouldn't want to miss a class. Recommended to take this course.

Amazing class. Would definitely recommend Greg. Im not a poliscience person at all and i didn't think I would enjoy his class but he kept me interedted and made it enjoyable.

Just a really cool guy. Very friendly and genuinely interested in what he does, which is encouraging if you want to go and talk to him about the course. Very receptive and will help you work through any question or issue you have with the course material.

Fairly easy class if you show up and do your readings. Everything is based on the textbook and required readings. He has a bunch of pop quizzes but you pretty much know when they will be and what they will be on. Very good guy

Im not a poli student but this class is easy to get if you have half a brain. Don't listen to the guy below, hes easy. Graded by mini-essay, presentation, term paper regarding a ideology and subject. Super easy. pop quizzes, with midterm and final he gives you the questions a week before and you have to prepare for only one question.

A very funny, knowledgeable person. Willing to answer every question you ask him. His exams are closed book, with a multiple choice and essay element. His courses usually have a lot of assignments, so tests aren't weighted as heavy. His lectures are super informative, and he often gets his students involved through polls and games. Mr. Millard is a saint. As a first year student he is the best prof you will ever encounter. I cannot put into words how highly I think of him. His lectures are engaging, his assignments are simple and easy to comprehend along with not being very difficult. He's always willing to help. This prof gets 6/5 stars. Would absolutely take again.

Dr. Millard is definitely as good as advertised. It's a blast being in his class everyday because his lectures always make sense and he is very encouraging with class participation. The course textbook can be confusing depending on the topic (nationalism), but he will always clarify what everything means.

Great prof.

Greg is someone who really loves what he teaches. He goes to very deep measures to make sure everything is clear. Although attendance is mandatory and classes can get boring, hes good. If youre contemplating on wheteher to take his class, i would recommend it.

How could you not like his class? He actively encourages conversation and reflection, and is pretty clear in his expectations. Some people in the class could be a bit more professional, but he can only do so much. POLI 2122 is also a really fun course. PM Trials in particular are great. I would highly recommend!
