He was a great teacher who wanted the class to be excited about what they were learning, and was eager for us to ask questions and make sure we understood. Too lenient w/ students talking and cell phones going off.

Good teacher. yes has wierd stories and methods but effective. dont miss a day or you'll miss a section (typical of any college class). tests are very easy only because i took it all before in HS. drops lowest test score. very fair on tests. xtra cred very helpful frm a B to A

As far as subject matter goes, needs to be more relevant to current applications and actual system setup/maint. Lab 15 should be more like lab 5. Mr. Scott was a fantastic instructor though. He was very friendly, lectures in a clear and straightforward manner, provides useful supplementary docs.

Mr Scott is in awsome teacher! i really hate math and i got a B in his class(i still don't know how i got that B eaither) but i really suggest him. He lets you use a cheat sheet for the test that really comes in handy. math is really hard for me, but he really tries to make sure you understand it!

This teacher is awesome. If you show up everyday he'll teach the short cuts through math. gives a lot of extra credit. 50pts total and drops the lowest test score. dont miss class otherwise you'll have to teach urself. NOT FUN....

He is an enthusiastic positive person who applies the abstract concepts of algebra to day-to-day living. He gives examples to make the class easier. A very good teacher and math enthusiast!

I can't recommend this instructor enough! I have the WORST math anxieties and Mr. Scott has a great and clear way of explaining things. His application of math to everyday/practical situations is so incredibly helpful. I actually enjoyed his class. He has a great gift and loves to share it. His enthusiasm is contagious!

I am the worst @ math, and Mr.Scott actually made me understand what the hell I was doing...which is a miracle!! He is honestly the best Math teacher ever...he teaches it so you can understand it and makes class fun with his stories of his childhood. Highly reccomended!!

He's the best math teacher I've had at elcamino so far! Multiple choice tests, and he puts simple problems on the tests. He also makes things very clear with his explainations and little addages to help you remember things. I highly recommend him especially if you hate/have problems with math.

Very unique way of teaching and it is very refreshing

I took his math 70 class 2 years ago. I think his teaching method is very simple. Hes a good teacher. Always says things like "Birds of a feather flock together" in order to get students to understand. Nice guy too.

Awesome tecaher! You put your name down on your own for attendance every day. His text book is offered online and that makes math homework super easy. You don't have to write out all the steps and all that. Awesome guy and easy to talk to.

WoW! I've never had a teacher like him, especially in Math. He's great. A really easy teacher. He loves to joke around...it's so funny. Test are easy, most of them are muliple choice in scantrons. Most of the days if we finish out class problem(s) he lets us leave early. He's great. For the 1st time I'm always looking forward going to the class.

This guy is nothing less than an awesome teacher. Attendance is NOT mandatory. Neither is homework. If you do your homework, he'll add extra points to your test. Half of his tests are multiple choice. Tests are fairly easy. If he feels the class is not ready for a test, he will postpone it. DO WHATEVER YOU CAN TO TAKE MATH WITH HIM.

Best math instructor in the world. 4 tests & 1 final. he replaces 1 lowest test to a better one that you got. No complicated or inscrutable questions at all. Review what you did during the class and study basic examples in the text.(No need to study hard ones) And just write some definitions on cheat sheet. Then I guarantee you gonna get an "A"

Greg Scott is a more than capable math instructor who made the class bearable for me and enabled me to pass not one but TWO courses in a subject that I HATE. He's understanding and willing to help you!!

Best Math Teacher ever... does want you to learn his way but this has to be the easiest math 70 class around!!!! Just for showing up you get extra credit!!!! He is a very caring person.

great teacher. teaches very well. easy if you study. homework is optional but its extra credit. class work is mandatory but its only 10 problems a day. he doesn't mind if you turn it in late as long as its in before test day. if you get a c grade on every test and do extra credit and class work, you will pass the class. very nice teacher as well.

this is the BEST math teacher in the world. He puts his notes online, last time I was in his class homework was extra credit, and his teaching style would make a 2 year old understand calculus. I f you need to understand math not just pass. TAKE SCOTT!

Computer class. Great teacher, loves what he teaches and is good at it. Always willing to help and explain further. Very smart and articulate but doesn't speak over your head. I hope to take more of his classes in the future.

Absolutely phenomenal. A teacher of Mr. Scott's character is one in a billion. He can relate math to many aspects of life, his jokes keep us alive in class, and overall he really knows how to teach the material well. He is by far the greatest math instructor I have come across. He is very spiritual, optimistic/friendly, and in general a good guy.

This was my third try at this class and he made it sooooo easy. I wish every professor had his amazing teaching ability. Take him if you want to understand math and you want a good grade.

I love Mr. Scott. He's a Christian professor, and teaches math from a spiritual perspective. Always talks about God and his grandmother, and has great stories about his childhood and how he became a math wiz in college. You'll find yourself using his nomenclature while studying (i.e. birds of a feather, New Orleans method. etc). He makes math fun.

A great teacher in all respects. He is the ideal math teacher and nobody is as nice as this man. He gives extra credit practice problems, prepares you well for the test, and can relate math to everyday activities. If all math teachers were as crafty as Scott then maybe math wouldn't be considered so hard!

Favorite Professor. Helps students out by going over problems repeatedly until we understand. Also introduces a new way to get an answer instead of the textbook version. He shows us both methods and lets us decide which is easier. Whenever he showed us both methods; his way was always easier and straight to the answer. I HIGHLY recommend taking him

If you are good at math and a fast learner, then this class is easy. 7 hw assignment and worth 50% of grade. lots of extra credit and he teaches really well and clear. he is willing to help and tests are open notes. I recommend him not cause he is easy, but he teaches really well. however if you aren't smart, you will find this class hard.

I had Scott's class in the summer of 2012, I was turned off by his style at first because he used religion as an anology, but as the class went further along, it all made perfect sense. He uses anything possible to help the students relate. Do your homework and ask questions. He loves to make sure you understand the material.

He's an awesome teacher! He really wants you to understand the subject and how to apply it, took him during the summer I Highly recommend him.

Scott is one of the more interesting teachers who's not afraid to make a joke or two. He offers many chances for extra credit and his assignments are very clear. The resources to complete assignments are definitely made available. Last assignment you get to make a GUI game. Make sure to go over the syllabus, test outlines are also there.

Prof. Scott is a great teacher! Math has never been my best subject and he made it easy for me to understand. His form of teaching is easy to understand unlike other teaches that rush through. Hes friendly and doesn't put students on the spot. He wants to help you succeed. Take him..you won't regret it!

Professor Scott is very intelligent and explains things in simple steps that offer ore than one way to do things. He's happy to review homework questions and always seems very happy and cheerful.

7 HW's and 2 tests so the class is pretty chill. Really fun professor with a lot of jokes. Very professional with his teaching, however his lectures can be a little bit confusing because his terminology with computer science is too advanced imo. I learned a lot about programming from him

Mr. Scott is a great teacher gives great lectures explains in way you'd understand so he will give different ways of solving a problem thats best for you. he gives homework it is easy and it is online the classwork is basically the same as the homework just put a little differently he makes you laugh has great energy not boring very helpful!!!!!

This guy Probably made math as simple as it could be. He is super helpful and actually has reviews that help you get through the tests (if you study them well). recommend this guys to anyone who has him as an option.

Prof. Scott Grey is a very eloquent professor, he never intimidate you, always ready to answer any question no matter how it may looks. He respects his student and offers extra credits. He never uses big vocabularies to express or explains himself; however he will use the lowest English to explain and even use jokes if that would help. #Greatprof.

Great teacher. God sent this man to teach us and that is exactly what he does and is amazing at it! It teaches with some methods out of the norm because they are MUCH easier to understand and uses analogies. On tests he'll write out exactly what you did wrong. He grades with a weird system, but in our favor. Omg this guy was the best thing ever!!!!

He is the best teacher who teaches math 80. Choose him. Why? About teaching, homework, classwork, examination. Teaching: easy, humorous, patient. Homework: do everything in WebAssign, no homework in the book. Classwork credit, Examination to east: (similar what he taught in class, only change numbers in equation). No tardy, no absences :)

I have JAVA programing class with professor Greg Scott . It is One of my best experience so far. He is very knowledgable, and will help you as long as you ask questions. You will learn if you practice and ask him. The class is not easy, however if you do all the assignments, read the book, and practice ,you will have a strong foundation for JAVA

Professor Scott was my first coding instructor. He is a very knowledgeable teacher and is a great instructor for a beginner like myself to have started with. Sadly help was not readily available. My class one day of the week and sometimes he did not respond to an email until past a deadline. This did become a problem for me but still recommendable

I took this guy in the spring of 2014 and this guy is hilarious! I actually did learn algebra in his class and he uses examples that actually can be applied. I got a B that's because I didn't try on the final But other than that you can just show up and you'll get a C for sure

I took Prof. Scott for stats winter 2019, I think he is a prof sent from above. He graded very clear, great lectures, best stat prof out there. If you care about your grade and passing. Prof. Scott is the one to take. You won't regret taking Prof. Scott and stats if you take him.
