i felt Dr swan knew exactly what he was teaching. I will not lie the material was hard but intresting. IO had some trouble with some of the material but Dr Swan answered all my questions asked via email,class or cell phone. I am glad I had him for an instructor i felt i learned much about the statistics arena from him.

Professor Greg Swan probably the greatest professor i took at CGCC. He has years of experience in business consulting and brings his real world knowledge into class. Overall his class was very easy, the midterm included 5 writing assignments at about a page a piece and one mandatory service learning project. Overall i Highly recommend him.

He is an excellent professor. His class is interesting and makes it relatable to students. He is quick to respond to emails and if you just show up to class and listen you should have all the info available for the midterm essay questions. A lot of fun videos that also relate to the topic. Definitely recommend him!

He makes everything sound hard but it's not. NOTE: If you can't handle sarcasm, not the class for you. Hilarious amount of sarcasm and outrageous banter. LOVED THIS CLASS!!

Online summer 2 class everything you need was on his videos which unfortunately meant you have to watch them. Extremely boring. 4 exams 1 final daily homework it was all very time consuming and he was not very polite but he was helpful. there was a huge curve throughout the class, and no actual math skills are required. Didn't use the book at all.

Amazing Professor! It was my first online course (a couple of semesters ago) and I can certainly say no other professor has compared. Dr. Swan is an asset to the learning community and is truly a professor who loves what he does! I'm certainly going to take his statistics class.

I took his Business Statistics class online this semester and I really liked it. Dr. Swam is always willing to help with any question you may have. He understands that statistics is not easy so he curves tests and homework. This class is a lot of work and you need to put in a lot of time, but Dr. Swan is awesome.

I love this man, take his class, he is highly intelligent and teaches with an admirable sense of humor. Continues to enjoy teaching even when it is to his physical detriment. Does not ask much from his pupils as far as homework goes. For this reason you should respect his attendance policies, you will learn much and your grades will please you.

I thought he was really great to listen to in class, hard to follow at times and LOTS of reading homework but it really wasn't that difficult. Overall as long as you go to class and participate, do the quizzes, and DEFINITELY do the event you will get good grade. He is much better than many other teachers out there!

Fantastic class! Very easy to work ahead as needed. Instruction very easy to follow if you actually pay attention. I realize that some people had difficulty but this is college and hand holding shouldn't be a necessity at this point. Complete the work on time and the exams (try actually reading the material) and you should be just fine!!

I have taken more then 20 classes at two different colleges, Swan is by far the best Professor I have had. He really cares and that is what makes a good teacher.

Sustainable Cities was a great class. It was hard and a lot of work but worth it. I learned many important things and Dr. Swan was very helpful.

He's a cool dude and his class is SUPER EASY as long as you read. I passed the class with a 100.7% and an A on the final without studying. Although I don't agree with his liberal views, he is nice. No textbook is need either; two standard chapter books are used as replacements - 23 Things by Chang & Crash Course by Martenson - Took Fall 2013 smstr.

He is a dry humor man. To get a good grade you must show up for attendance points and you must read for quizzes. Other than that you do in class writings which you go over the class before on what to write. If you put in the time you get the grade you want. He also was very funny and showed a lot of interesting materials. Ask lots of questions!!!

I took 2 classes with Dr. Swan and enjoyed them both. He teaches well and listens to what his students feedback. he really wants his class to benefit them. Super nice guy & passionate about his job but gave more work than all 4 of my courses combined. I struggled weekly to keep up with the demand. Local group meets on the weekend, take pictures of myself at various local landmarks, watch hour after hour of videos, read hundreds of pages...all this in a single week, week after week. It was absurd!

I had Dr. Swan for SBU200, GBS205 and SSH111. I CHOSE him 3 times. He is a wonderful professor, with great care for his students and the subjects he teaches. You will have to read, and work in each of his classes. But you will learn a great amount and an A is possible in each class. Experience a class with this great man, you won't regret it.

The semester started out with just 2 assignments due per week - then it turned into 4 per week, 2 assignments due on the same day twice per week. He grades on a curve so that's easy but there is so much reading involved. The quizzes are not "hard" but you will have to read a lot. It's difficult for people like me who have no interest in this subject..

Prof Swan is very helpful and flexible, yet fair, and does everything he can to give you the opportunity to succeed short of doing the work for you. He does pace the class fairly quickly as far as the assignments go but I felt it was actually to my benefit as it gave me a nice consistent routine to follow.

Grades on a curve and always gives extensions as long as you put something down for a reason to need one. Great teacher and doesn't give assignments on weeks you have an exam. Do the assignments and get a good grade :-)

There are a lot of modules in this class. Up to 5 a week, though they usually take a few hours to go through all of them. If you finish all of them though it is an easy A. He ha a huge curve at the end, very fair. You can tell he is truly interested in the development of his students, hard to find a teacher that cares.

Professor Swan was flexible on due dates if you let him know ahead of time, tests are moderate but if you read listen to material you'll do fine. Moderate amount of work required. Good teacher, knows a lot about the subject.

I really thought this class was awesome profesor swan pushed my abilities to learn complex material but it really was what i needed. I learned more in this class than any other. he is very knowledgeable about the subject, very open for feedback and will really test your knowlegde. Does assign homework but allows you to turn in late if you forget to do it. Very interesting material, Greg does an awesome job of presenting information in a way that really makes you think about it. Found the chang textbook online in a PDF, dont pay for it.

Greg is a fair and experienced professor. I've taken his online GBS205 and barely passed but earned the grade I got. He's really helpful if you have questions and he's pretty lenient if you have any reason to miss the deadline for an assignment, just don't abuse it or he takes it away.

Dr. Swan is extremely knowledgeable and fair. He seems to truly try to become acquainted with his students, especially for an online class. He really cares about his students and wants you to do well. He's very clear and concise, as well as super responsive. If you keep up on homework and do the readings, you'll pass.

Great class, easy to learn from this professor

I actually hesitated to take this class due to some of the reviews on rate my professor. I took it anyways and I'm glad I did. Even though I struggled with the tests it's a pretty straight forward class, I learned a lot, just do the work, he is very helpful, he works with you, gives good feed back, responds to emails/questions fairly quickly.

Rating the class itself, it was difficult for me. The book is HUGE and you cover every single page over the course of the semester. It's tough to get through (boring law stuff), but the professor is amazing. Very, very helpful! Definitely recommend!

I found the class very challenging as a returning student that has not been in school for over 25 years. However, he was very conscience of helping me to stay on target and in tune with the stress I was having. Always continued to encourage me and grading system used curves, and he responded daily to my questions or concerns. Extensions possible.

Dr. Swan is very thorough in his instructions of the class. He sends a lot of announcements to explain everything. He is willing to help if you are having a problem, and offers extra credit if you need to get your grade up. If you do all the reading required, it's easy to get a pretty good grade.

Took this class as an online option. He is a very understanding teacher. If you are nearing a deadline for a homework he allows an extension of 2 days for the homework. Tests are online. With the exception of one test on campus. If struggling with homework he will adjust to offset the level of difficulty of the homework. Is there for his students.

Super chill, super fun person, he jokes around a lot in class and is a well respected instructor. His tests are pretty easy as well. Dr. Swan is a great professor. He is your not average everyday boring professor. He likes to make his students laugh and make the subject fun for the class. Coming into this class I thought the course was going to be over different material. Although I did not like the class it was only because I wasn't interested in the topics. Dr. Swan was always there to help and I would definitely recommend taking his class. The only thing is to not get all the books we didn't use all of them.

If it weren't for Greg's advice/support I probably wouldn't have completed my semester. I had some issues in the interim with my financial aid and completely panicked . He was helpful, reassuring and motivated me to hang in there. This was all BEFORE class started. He's great at responding to my questions and is passionate about his subject.

I took this class as a requirement for my BA program. Mr. Swan clearly lays out what is expected and due dates. Everything was very organized. He is very flexible and allows for extensions and provides extra credit opportunities. He is quick to answer questions and is very personable. I would definitely opt for one of his classes again.

Professor Swan is an extremely caring man. I took him online and he would give us extensions on homework and really communicate with us. For the accelerated class he understands it is difficult to have so much due every week so he is lenient. I would suggest this as a way to get law done quickly through the accelerated 8-week online course.

If I missed an assignment, Mr. Swan emailed me to make sure everything was ok. He does give extra credit. You learn a lot in this class. I would take another class if he was the instructor.

Here was a class that intimidated me a year ago into a withdrawal, due to my own casualties of poor time management and because of the withdrawl I was afraid to rejoin as my fear of failure lingered in my own shadow. But now, completed with a good grade, I feel like I made an incredible journey and that shadow is no longer my enemy but a friend.

Dr Swan is a very caring teacher who understands busy schedules, so he gave students more than one chance to finish quizzes/homework. He graded on a curve as well. There's a lot of reading in this class and online quizzes, but it's overall an easy class to pass. He was very aware of how the class was doing and also assigned extra credit as needed.

By far a challenging class with a lot of work packed into 8 weeks. I feel like I got out of this class what I put into it. Professor Swan was easy to reach and understanding of unforeseen circumstances that came up and prevented deadlines from being met. He was easy to reach and easy to communicate with. I would take this class again, absolutely.

MR. Swan was a very fair individual. If you had a good reason for being late on your homework, he would allow an additional 48 hours. He always responded quickly to emails and kept us informed quite often about when he would be doing grades and he stuck to his word. Please take one of his classes if you get the chance.

I took the 8 week shortened class. I will say that there was A LOT of work. 4 chapters a week and each chapter has a LearnSmart assignment and Quiz however he is a great instructor and gives you every opportunity to succeed as well as curves the harder assignments. He also drops your two worst grades. I ended with an A, but I worked hard for it.

Good lectures - very interesting and pertinent to our time. Clear schedule of assignments and grading. Instructor works very hard to help students be successful. Unbiased lectures to help you see both sides of issues.

Law and Ethics in Business is not an easy class, but the book that he uses makes it understandable. He can sound a bit rude, but he is helpful. Most of the assignments are just in the McGraw-Hill tool, and he is flexible with extensions.

Easy, just do the work and you'll pass

The 8 week online class was a push to get done. There was a lot of material presented. Very busy class. But, Dr Swan grades on a curve and drops the 2 lowest grades. He also gives 48 hour assignment extensions upon request. Hes a good, very knowledgeable guy. Do the work and youll do well in the class.

I took the accelerated online 8 week course and it was a lot of work. A lot of homework and something due almost every other day but he did allow you to make up things. Its easy as long as you are willing to apply yourself.

Dr Swan has put in the effort to make the class engaging without being overwhelming. He asks for constructive criticism to improve each semester, grades with a curve, is quick to respond. You can tell he cares! Expect to spend 2-3 hours a week for reading/assignments and apply yourself and you'll do great. Great teacher and class.

Mr Swan is a great teacher. He really cares about his students and displays every effort to help them pass. If you have a good work ethic you should pass easily. This doesnt mean you wont learn- it means he helps you to stay on track and do your best.

Dr Swan really wants you to do well in his course and he makes it pretty easy to do so - it's not 0 work but i actually wanted to do the reading because he made the material interesting (and it's relevant in the real world). Just spend the couple hr/week and you will be rewarded by curves. He even gives automatic 48hr extensions no questions asked.

Dr. Greg Swan is a great online instructor. He gives good feedback and is soft on deadlines because he understands that life happens and sometimes you can't meet a deadline. Has valuable knowledge about the course materials and it shows. Easy to reach via email and goes above and beyond to set his students up for success. 10/10 would reccommend.

Prof Swan will do everything in his power to allow you to pass the class. There are a lot of homework, discussions, and quizzes but if you follow the lectures you will be fine. The only downfall is the lecture/ videos are LONG and BORING. Overall an awesome teacher, just boring lectures.

Dr. Swan is VERY on top of things. He really really cares about the success of students, and he makes sure each individual student is comfortable, and makes sure they will be able to pass. There is quite a bit of reading, but almost all of it is genuinely interesting! Funny, caring, and dedicated, I definitely recommend him.

He's easy to work with and the assignments are easy to keep up with as well.

Super cool professor! I took GBS205 in an 8-week period. While it was a lot of time packed work, he was super clear with what to read in a chapter, what to pay attention to for tests, and the best part- understands if you need to turn something in late because we all have a life that comes up unexpectedly! I recommend this professor for any class!

Dr. Swan made class so entertaining through his personalized notes and lectures. He really cared about us. He showed this by responding to course questions and computer tech support. Dr. Swan does well explaining difficult course sections and truly wants to see his students succeed!

Great Professor, I really enjoyed this class

Dr. Swan was very clear with his expectations. The coursework was very predictable. I took the accelerated class online and homework was due 4 days a week but manageable. When life happens, he allows extensions. He is an amazing communicator that leaves very little room for confusion which eliminates stress. I hope to take more classes him.

I took it 8 weeks online, which is really rush time. Heavy assignments but it is not that hard if you read the textbook in McGraw Hill. He gave a lot of curve grades. You should pass it with at least an A or B if you do all your works.

Expect to read a lot, but if you read the professor's textbook and notes and do all the assignments, you will probably get an A. Professor Swan cares about the students and their knowledge from the course. His purpose is not just to teach but to interest students in the subject.

Read the textbook, take notes, learn the vocab, and pay attention to Professor Swan's notes. The exams are timed but if you study and have your notes + book ready, you can beat the clock. Professor Swan has been absolutely kind and very easy to communicate with.

This is a fast-paced, content-heavy class but professor Swan cares more about his students succeeding than I have EVER seen. I've never had a professor more communicative and go to so much extra effort to recognize the difficulty of the material and grade on a curve. His notes are entertaining and he is so understanding. Definitely recommend!!

Professor Swan is a really nice guy. I took the 8 week course which meant there was a lot of work, so he gives 2 day extensions as long as you have a valid excuse. The exams are timed really tightly, but as long as you have your notes and his you will be fine. Overall, you'll have to put the work in this class, but 10/10 would take again!

Dr. Greg Swan has really well-made classes. I have never had the amount of flexibility in deadlines as I did in this class. The amount of work is pretty standard for a condensed class and it's not particularly tedious like a lot of online classes. Don't expect the workload to be small, this is an 8-week condensed class.

Dr. Swan was my hardest class this semester. He is a good teacher and cares about his students' success. You will spend a lot of time reading and going over his lectures. I took the class online.

There is a lot of reading from time to time, but overall an easy class and easy teacher. Loved him so much. I will be taking any other courses I need, with him!
