Great teacher, really know investigations. I hope to take another class from him.
Great teacher, class can get boring at times, but he does have some really good stories! Easy tests, explains everything well especially when it comes to tests! All the class is, is take notes and exams!! Its real easy if u study!! Never have any homework
I have had him for 3 classes and enjoyed them all. Very good investigative class. I learned a lot from him.
Greg has been my fav. teacher so far. He uses examples from when he work for the D.P.D. so that helps, but the movies are kind of boring.
By far my favorite teacher. Really knows his stuff and really gets you thinking. Great stories about his experiences in law enforcement and investigations. Can't wait to take his investigations class in the fall.
Very good instructor!!
Has loads of interesting stories to share. The class can get pretty boring at times.Overall it is easy.
Greg is one of the best instructors I've had!!! He is very informative, taking material that can really suck to study and turning it into happy happy joy joy time. Tests are a breeze as long as you follow material in class. plus he has some of the best cop stories around A+ instructor hands down!!!
I had him for the second time. Great teacher with some great stories. I wish he would teach more classes.
Greg is one of my favorites! Took a learning community class with him. Really enjoyed it and looked forward to going to class. Wish he taught more classes!!!!!
He was the best teacher and a lot of fun. Wish he would teach more classes

Excellent Instructor
Hard grader, but fun and can learn a lot from him.
alls i can say is AWSOME. Knows his stuff. Not the easiest grader but he does give you many chances to succeed. Helps that he was a cop all of his life and shares all info.
great teacher not the easiest grader but gives lots of chances to do well. exzames are exstreamly hard but if you do well on everything else you will succeed in his class. highly reconmend his class
I love this guy. He is so interesting and tests are not that hard if you study. i'm going to take some of his security classes. HIGHLY RECOMMEND
Teter is the man he has the best stories and explanies everything you need to know for the test.
Greg Teter is one of the best professors I have ever had. He helps you to learn and connects with the students on a real level, no bull. Tests are easy, you just have to know the material. My best advice...Do the court appearances as soon as you can...because if you dont they snowball.
By far my favorite teacher. He has so much knowlege of law enforcement that I hope I can take him again. Highly recommend.
Awesome teacher. He really talks to you like you're someone he wants to talk to. He doesn't make it boring but keeps it interesting. All round good guy.
OUTSTANDING PROFESSOR!!!!!!!!!!
second time i took him...........speechless i wish he could teach every CJ class they offer
Second time I've had Mr. Teter and again have found him to be the best teacher I've had over 68 credits. Very informative and knowledgeable and you will learn a ton in his classes. To bad he does not teach all of my CJ classes!
Great guy and classes are very interesting!!! Would highly recommend.
Just make sure you get all your assignments in on time. Attendance gets you extra points.
Mr. Teter is a great professor. His exams are all written, but he tells you what's going to be on it the week before the exam. Also, he does give out extra credit if you go to the seminar they try and have every semester. As long as you pay attention in class you will get a good grade.
Excellant teacher!! I loved him! He knows his stuff and incorporates it into the lectures! You have like 4 2 page papers to write which are simple simple I got 100% on all of them, and 3 tests which are all written but he goes over everything the week before so if you pay attention you'll do fine!
MR TETER IS A GREAT PROFESSOR AND IS ALWAYS THIER TO LEND A AHND OR SHARE A STORY ABOUT LAE ENFORCEMENT
Best teacher ever!
Mr. Teter is an awesome instructor. He knows his subject matter & has interesting stories that relate to the course information. The assignments are not difficult, but you are expected to complete your work on time. I've also had him for CJ 182. I would highly recommend him for any class.
Awesome teacher and very easy, plus has a ton of experience he brings into the class room. Is one of the best instructors I have had a Delta. He is also probably the easiest grader of all the CJ instructors.
Teter is awesome. He's funny, he's devoted, and he knows his stuff.
Awesome!!!!!!!!
I love his class and recommend it to all. He is a super guy.
I LOVE Mr.TEter! He is the best teacher ever he gives the best stories and is very easy going! I would deffinately take a class with him again
Greg is a great teacher. He is well experienced and knowlegeable in the public(as a Detroit Policeman) and private sector of Criminal Justice. This was my 2nd class taken with him and I would recommend him for all CJ classes he teaches.
Greg is AWESOME, he knows his stuff, he is experienced and teaches you a lot, his class is really fun and interesting even if your not going into criminal justice! Quizes and tests are super easy!
mr. teter is great, i loves his style of teaching. i hope to have him again.
This guy is very funny and I really loved the class. I signed up foranother class next semester. He also lot a ton of weight.
Mr. Teter is an amazing teacher. He really is very helpful. His classes are really fun and he is easy if you study and pay attention. I will be taking him again
Great Teacher! Every class I ever took from Teter has been fun. He's passionate, knows the subject and isn't a hard teacher to pass. He will be teaching one of my Ferris classes this Winter semester. Looking forward to having him again. Take him for any and all criminal justice class he teach.
The incredible shrinking man! it is about time Ferris State offered him more classes to teach!
Awesome teacher! Lots of helpful examples, would deff recommend his class to anybody! Down to earth. Quizzes are a little tough sometimes. Most answers are out of his lecture!A+
Excellent teacher. Requires you to remember lots of information for exams, but is very fair. if you want to learn, take his classes. I took three this semester and am taking 2 more in the summer.
This teacher makes the class interesting. I also like his relational learning style. I would recommend him to any student in criminal justice field.
Great teacher! The class is easy to follow and I learn a lot. If possible I will take all of my Criminal Justice classes with him. He makes it interesting and fun. A++ Teacher!
Absolutely loved his class. Had such great real-life stories. I enjoyed every class. Very knowledgeable and interesting.
Was a fun class. Have to get used to discussion boards for the online class. Wasnt a lot of homework but exams were hard because they were essays.
Easy class but tough exams. 15 essays picked from about 50 choices. As long as you study for exams it's easy to do well overall
Professor Teter is genuine he tells it like it is. If you come to class, pay attention you will do fine if you miss you will fail!!!!
Mr. Teter is a great teacher who is fun to work with. He explains things clearly and jumps in on the conversations as well (discussion boards). I would highly recommend him!!
Very good professor and is straightforward in what he expects. Get used to discussion boards and having a few papers. Tests are hard but if you study for them, you should do fine! Would take him again!
He's very passionate & enjoys what he does. If you have a question or need help, he's there for you. He's not afraid to jump right in there and be a part of the discussions. Tests are essay tests which for me are harder, but if you study his material and do the things required of you, you will do well. Great teacher & would take him again!
A great instructor. Cares about his students, the course he's teaching, and goes above & beyond to help out students wherever the need is. Each course he has extra credit opportunities as well. Participation is necessary along with reading any and all material that is required for the course. Would take any course with Teter as instructor.
Great instructor. Course has extra credit opportunities. Participation is necessary along with reading any and all material that is required for the course. Uses up to date examples and materials. Would take any course with Professor Teter as an instructor.
Take this class only if you have to. I thought it would be interesting but unless you're about to be a security guard its just kind of silly. There are also important assignments that you don't know are due unless you have memorized the due dates from the syllabus, as you only get reminders for half of the assignments. Just jumping through hoops.
Excellent class on-line. I'm not big on the on-line format, but he did a very good job and I needed the class.
Show up and do your reading, assignments, discussion boards, and tests you shouldn't have a problem with this class at all. He is always available when you need help or questions arise. It's great that he also throws in extra credit if you need it, but even if you don't, the extra credit is always fun to do.
very easy had mr. teter for majority of my delta/ferris classes easy A
Awesome teacher and best I have had so far at Delta.
Greg is a nice guy and a good teacher but I think I prefer taking his class in person. He requires a lot of work for the online classes and he makes you read everyone's post on top of responding to two other students posts and responding to feed back on your own.
Greg is a good professor. I have taken him for several classes. I liked his teaching style in person vs, online. His online class was a little more difficult. He expected you to read all the discussions posted and something was due on the first day of class. (most online classes give you the week to complete assignments.) I would take him again.
Very great Teacher!
Tough grader, seems rate my professor only puts positive feed back on here as my last post never made it they must have taken Teter too.... I'd recommend Duchene or Baber before this professor.
Excellent instructor. Enjoyed his class and will take him again.
Wonderful, funny guy with great experience to share. Ask a question, he knows the answer. Had about 3-4 papers throughout the semester, but they weren't too hard. Exams were fairly easy as long as you pay attention during class and do a little studying.
Absolutely loved Teter! I would definitely take him again. He gave great lectures that would keep you interested in what he had to say. He would tell you exactly what his expectations were in the class. The week before an exam he gives great reviews. He offers lots of extra credit too!
This is for homeland/terrorism class CJ215W online but its not listed on here. He is a very good teacher great feedback and his class is set up very understandable.
I would reccomend to take any of his classes.
Alright teacher & alright class. Everything we learned was interesting and you can tell he has lots of experience in investigation and criminal justice. The discussion boards were sometimes hard to keep up with because you had to read everyone's posts which was tedious
I took CJ110 online with Teter. Class consisted of a weekly discussion board, 4 short assignments, 2 exams, and a court experience paper. I enjoyed the discussion boards as they helped me learn a lot by interacting with my classmates and talking it out with them. It was a relatively easy class and Teter is very knowledgeable about criminal justice.
Would reccomend.
Very easy grader, however, he had a habit of quizzing us over materials he never gave to us.
I took this class online and the only complaint I have is about the material on some of the quizzes. He would tell us what to study for every quiz, and I would study those materials, but there were questions on the quiz that had to do with materials he never even supplied. I made sure to go back and double-check, and the materials were nowhere.
I had an online with him and he had everything organized and easy to find. He also was very responsive and made sure everyone understood the material. He will give you an A if you put in effort for your work. You are only given a small amount of time on quizzes and tests, which was a bit challenging. Other than that I really enjoyed this professor.
A great on-line teacher and went out of his way to help me understand the material.
Amazing professor, would recommend to anyone taking any CJ classes, I took a few with him and did well in all, great professor overall and cares as long as you put in your time and effort
My class was an accelerated class, so there was a lot of course work but he was a fair grader. The lowest discussion board you had, was taken and given 100%. He is a great professor and if I had any concerns he addressed them within 24 hours. Great teacher and I cannot wait to take his classes again.
I took Greg for the accelerated class and it is very manageable. There is one discussion board and quiz a week, a midterm/final exam, a few short essays, and a final paper. Very nice guy who is very knowledgeable on the subject. Easy A if you do the work.
Very good class, with a quite nice professor! Seems like a cool guy, and taught interesting stuff about the criminal justice field.
Easy class. 2 page, double spaced, 12 font papers due every 2 weeks as well as discussion boards. Offers 2 extra credit opportunities in the form of attending a police training which gets you 50 points per (a single one of the 2 page papers is 50 points for reference). One thing I disliked was how wordy the textbook was.
Super easy class, but it was informative. You have to read from the textbook and then answer discussion questions on D2L, and there's like 4 essays. He responds to emails quickly too.
