I think he is crazy most of the time but thats what makes the class interesting! His test can be alittle tricky but not that bad. I would take him again.

The guy knows his stuff. If something is unclear though, you need to tell him otherwise he will rattle on. But if you tell him how or why something is unclear, he is more then happy to discuss and clarify. Office door is always open, great guy, great professor. Be open to new ideas. Eye opener.

Take Walker for anything! He is a great prof who really knows what hes talking about. He makes class fun, and has a great sense of humor. Great discussions and very helpful! I wish I could stay just to take more classes with him!

He is so awesome. if you go to his class, and take good notes, you will be fine. Just make sure to study and get the terms clear. The tests are confusing, but overall the class is great. 3 quizes and 3 tests, and 1 paper. NOT bad. His office is always open, and he's a great guy!

He's very odd. The class is boring but he tries really hard to make it interesting. His tests and quizzes are really easy and the answer is always the longest choice in the multiple choice sections. He has no attendence policy and basically you can never go to class and get a good grade. TAKE HIM!

Dr. Walker is a freaking ninja! You simply have to love this class. He reviews everything that's on the test, and the examples he gives in class are the ones he uses on the test. Show up, take the notes, and you'll ace his class. Plus it's interesting stuff. Walker is the man!

Very amusing man. He tries his best to make you laugh once in a while in class. His notes did not flow as well as some other classes, but you can understand the material. You never use the text, so do not bother to buy it. He does not take attendance, but you probably won't do well on tests if you skip even if you read the book.

Dr. Walker is a crazy funny guy. He makes class fun. He is very helpful on your paper and if you go to class you do well on quizzes and exams. What he says in class is on the exam. You either love or hate him.

This NINJA keeps it gangsta. He is a fair teacher. Although attending class is a necessity, reading the prescribed readings is not. He is funny, and keeps your attention. You will not pass, without attending class. He is a good sociologist.

Even if you're not into Sociology, you will love his class. He is too funny and his lectures relate to the real world so he's not just giving you definitions from a book. Go to class often otherwise you will get lost. His tests and quizzes aren't too bad but you do need to study. One of the best professors I've had so far. He's a "Mental Ninja" :-)

Oh Greg ... what a guy. He is HILARIOUS & no matter how boring the subject matter may actually be, it's worth going to class anyway just to hear his lectures. Freakin' ninja ... I highly recommend him. It's an easy A.

First and foremost, you DON'T need the book so don't waste your money. All his tests come from the notes. He's a great professor and he is very easy to understand. Also he makes class interesting! Tests and quizes aren't too bad either! All you really need to do for them is to look over the notes!

First off,I only put he is hot because I hear about it alot from the girl that sits beside me. Next Dr. Walker is an amazing professor. If you are interested in the subject and have a will to learn he is the one for you. Yes he will explain the material to you if you don't read however if you do read the given text you will get much more out of it.

All of the given tests and quizzes are based on the notes and the questions are usually derived from the examples he gives in class. I would write down the examples in your notes and the graded materials will far easier for you to understand.

I have taken several classes with Dr. Walker, if you go to class, take notes and pay attention you should have no problem. It should not be possible to fail his class...unless you are lazy but God forbid you might have to think and participate once in a while...

Dr. Walker is BY FAR the best professor that I have ever had at Lock Haven. He's sexy in a George Clooney way. He makes class enjoyable, you don't wanna miss it! His tests come STRAIGHT from the notes, could it get any easier? I could listen to his wacky stories all day. Definitely take him if you get the chance!

I took his soci101 class and LOVED it. he's hilarious, keeps your attention, and you actually learn things. One of the best intro to classes i've ever taken. Sociology isn't even relatively close to my major and this coming semester i'm taking another soc. class just because he's teaching. lol.

Walker is a stud. I only go to class one day a week because of personal reasons but he is easy to catch up on information. He starts off each class with a recap of the last. Not to mention he is so interesting and hilarious! Total babe

The prof was and is great. If you cant follow or understand his lecture then you need to pay attention or get off the dam phone and stop texting!!! He teaches in a way that you will understand and can follow. He speaks to you not above or below but you and he makes the topic fun and enjoyable. Take him you will not regret!!

Dr. Walker is the best professor at Lock Haven! He is hilarious, talk at a level that you can clearly understand, takes complicated ideas and makes them understandable for everyone and is just overall great! I would take more sociology classes just to have him, even though I'm a completely different major.

I have never laughed in a classroom as much as I have with him. He's the most enthusiast professor I've ever seen. Such a funny guy, you can tell he loves what he does. The material is extremely easy and he explains it very well. I almost dropped this class, now I'm glad I didn't. Its so much fun.

His lectures are something to look forward to, there's no dull moments in class.Challenges you. fair grader. extremely charismatic, encourages discussion. Doesn't force u to memorize useless definitions, makes real world applications. Students failing are doing so b/c of their laziness, ignorance & close-mindedness TAKE HIM FOR SOCIOLOGY

He makes morning classes fun and exciting. He is very smart and a bit quirky to keep things interesting. He gives extra credit opportunities that can really help your grade. His quizzes and exams have very complex wording and the questions are often a paragraph long. He usually takes one page front and back to ask 10 questions. SUCH A GREAT CLASS!

Brilliant Professor, make sure you take notes of what he says, which shouldn't be too much to ask since you're in college.

Dr. Walker is actually hilarious person. However, if you are a strongly opinionated person you might find him a little offensive. I got a C+ on the first exam and still have a 98% in the class. DO EXTRA CREDIT AND GO TO CLASS

Dr. Walker is the funniest person I ever met! His jokes and comments make you stay awake and interested in the class. I had his class at 8 am and he kept me awake. I wrote down every funny thing because they were that funny! He's goofy and tries to make the material easy to understand. He is a great professor!

Nicest guy you will ever meet. So funny. If you cannot handle political incorrectness, racial slurs, and inappropriately curt language, this class is not for you.

A wonderful professor. He allows students to argue with him on exams and quizzes. He offered a lot of extra credit words and 2 extra credit assignments. I would take him again.

Always made class interesting. He did research right along with us students and gave plenty of examples for the assignments. Seemed like it was going to be hard and stressful but as long as you put forward effort and not procrastinate you'll do fine. I would take him again.

He is a very funny professor but he does make a lot of racial slurs. It is a pretty easy class to pass if you take notes and know the material. He isn't really a project based professor. I would take him again if i ever get the chance.

Greg is one of my two favorite professors at LHU. His class was so entertaining; and yes he will use a racial slur but it is to tell a story of where he came from and how it relates to sociology. Crude jokes but come on they bring the lecture alive! He is a great portion of why I decided to pick up a soc minor. Easy tests, easy final, amazing guy!

Great professor, he is hilarious and caring. His class was a bit difficult to understand in the beginning as he likes to draw pictures, but eventually it calmed down and became easier. Not much work in the class.

This was such an entertaining class. Dr. Walker always made the class laugh and made lecture worth going to. You are only graded on quizzes and the final exam but if you go to class and listen they are pretty easy.

Greg is THE BEST professor I've had. His lectures are engaging and funny, and he's full of real life examples that relate to researching. The whole class is based around one research project, and you do a lot of work in the first half, but it gets easy after the mid point. I would trust this funky little sociologist with my life.

If you go to class you will pass, if you don't good luck. Take lots of notes and study. You will have quizzes every other monday and make sure if he says a crazy example in class you write it down. This can be important because it could be on the quiz.

Dr. Walker is my favorite professor. Im only a freshman but he is super funny and always straight up. He draws pictures for notes but if you copy them youll get good grades. As well as all of the random stuff he says in his lectures. Overall, if you dont have him. Youre really missing out man.

He is an interesting man who is a little odd at times but for the most part is funny. He has you read articles that he wrote (I thought most of them were pretty interesting and his thought process and opinions were pretty solid). Definitely copy down all the notes and any examples he gives in class.

Dr.Walker is an amazing yet weird professor. You will have weekly readings and every 2 weeks a quiz. He answers back by email fairly quick, and always able to talk outside of class. he does get distracted easily but overall it was really enjoying to take!

He took attendance like the first week but it didn't mean anything. If you take notes on the lectures then you'll succeed on tests. He NEVER assigns any out of class work. TAKE THIS CLASS

He is your best option for any sociology classes, his personality and love for his subject make him one of the best professors on campus.

I am the biggest Dr. Walker fan, and I have so much respect for him. He is so funny and makes lectures so much fun. His quizzes are all online so good note-taking is essential. He is also out in the community a lot which is so sweet. He does offer quite a bit of extra credit as well. Favorite college professor by far!

Dr. Walker has a way of making you understand difficult topics without you realizing you are learning. His exams are very easy if you pay attention in class and take notes. His way of including the multi-modal students is the best I have experienced yet. All around a great professor. I can't wait to take more of his classes.
