The content is not too bad if you put the effort, and hes a pretty good lecturer. He understands material and takes the time to explain it. The issue comes with the grade: for the online class, he was the least lenient person I have ever met. Always made mistakes in the key, and did not give credit where deserved. Does not care about your grade

Homework is consuming yet useless. Doesn't even bother to care about what you have to say. Online tests were graded POORLY, with incorrect answer keys, no leniency, or care for what students are going through. Lectures are just slow-mo word dumps with 100 tangents. Tests are 84% of the grade, only way to study is selfstudy using other profs content

Prepare your seatbelt for this class. The professor is passionate but wildly unorganized, goes off-topic constantly, and his notes are messy and unclear. Homework rarely matches what we learn, and the exams are far harder than anything we study. Pure chaos from start to finish. Enter at your own risk. Everything feels confusing and rushed. Always.!

Yes, it is true his lectures are amazing--he's passionate, but he goes on tangents and often is very off-topic. Constantly behind other professors and focuses on many niche things that we are not graded on in exams. Overall, take him if you think you can self-study (It's very possible) and want an enthusiastic person who cares about chemistry

Would take again

BEST professor for Gen chem 2! The class is MATH HEAVY but he really takes his time to explain the concepts needed for an exam and his lecture slides are well organized. Go to class regularly, do homework, practice using the workshops and then finish with the exam review and you'll do great!

Not a good lecturer, he's passionate but unorganized and goes off on unnecessary tangents, doesn't focus on what's on the test instead on things he finds interesting (history, scientists) that won't help you get an A. The tests aren't too bad but you HAVE to self study/ self learn, you won't learn much from lectures.

He is very passionate about chem but is not good for exam preparation. If you are looking for detailed lectures he is a good choice. However, you will need to self study. He is usually behind a couple lectures and goes over things the day before the exam. Nice dude and is very clear but does not do things in a timely manner. Go to office hours.
