Knows his stuff! Loves to help. Make sure you go to class, points for attendance. Study everything, he wants you to know it! Kinda of funny, very interesting.

Makes the material fun and interesting with real life examples. Is very knowledgeable, lets class out early sometimes. Very helpful if needing to meet with him outside of class.

Good teacher. If you have a choice, pick him over Dr. Gordon. Requires some work, but nothing unreasonable. If you enjoy science, you'll enjoy this class. If you hate science but need the grade, you should be able to get through 100 with no problems.

Loved this professor. Good sense of humor and makes you understand what he's teaching. Will work with you until you get it. Very smart and interesting. If you need him for a pre-req, take as much as you can from his class, you will need it for later.

Yes, he is hard, but that class in general is hard. I learned SO MUCH, though! His final is AWESOME! You can really bring up your grade with it. He is very interesting, but kinda cocky. I recommend him if you enjoy a challenge, but want to learn!

Somewhat challenging course, but not that hard to do well in. Just study and put some effort into it. Mr. Krumme seems like kind of a hardass at times, but he is really a nice guy that knows what he is talking about. The final is easy.

Great guy that wants you to know everything about BMS. You have three tests and he drops the lowest test score. The final is simple if you have the answers to previous tests. Definetly have to study a lot for the tests. Awesome teacher.

The only people who find him boring are those with the attention span the size of paperclip. Of the 100+ credits that I've taken, he is easily one of the greatest lecturers I've ever had. Take as many courses as you can with him.

He's a cool guy. His tests are not that bad. He will go over what will be on the test the class time before the test, and if you don't understand something, he will go over it again and again until it is clear. His class is really interesting too. It's obvious that he tries to make it interesting.

He is a very knowledgeable man, and can teach you a lot. I would recommend him to anyone who is interested in this class, the tests aren't that hard if you just study!

The material is difficult, but it would be with any professor. Study for the tests a lot and you'll be fine. If you have any trouble, he's willing to help you out.

For me, it's been semi-easy, but I also have a background in this kind of stuff. Like everyone else said, just study the book and notes for tests and you should be fine. I would definitely recommend him for this class though.

I really liked this class, but that may be because it is in my major. Krumme really took time to explain something to you if you got lost. I would suggest him to anyone.

Take Krumme, not Gordon. He really overloaded with work so he can come off as rude. He's just all business and does show a lot of fun until you get to know him. Stop by the office and you will see what I mean. He's a great guy I would love to take again. Good for anyone considering medicine.

Krumme made things understandable and easy to remember. He was also funny at times.

If you study for this class than you are fine! But if you don't like to study than don't take it! OVerall it is pretty easy!

He can come off as very rude at times, but if you have a sense of humor you know that he is only kidding. He makes a very difficult topic clear and very fun at times. Great sense of humor! Be willing to work, though-this isn't high school anymore!

When it comes to teaching the material and really making good points, he is by far one of the best teachers I've had. Sure his tests are hard and he moves quickly, but you learn SO much! If you are interested in medicine at all, his class will always keep you interested and paying attention!

Krumme was a great teacher. His tests are hard but if you study they really weren't that bad. If he was moving too fast he was always willing to answer any question a student had. The final was exactly his previous tests. I definitely recommend this class to anyone interested in human biology and not plant/animal biology.

Great teacher. Gives great examples to remember on. Very hard tests but if you put in the time needed to study for them you will be fine. Quizzes occur at least once a week. A few huge quizzes pop up quite often too. Overall, great teacher.

Good teacher. He inspires you to learn the material. Plan on studying though, lots of work. If you do the work and you're of average intelligence you'll pass.

Great Teacher. He moves through material really fast but is very clear about the subject he is teaching. The best science teacher i've had. Tests take effort but are not all that bad if you take notes and pay attention in class.

If you go to class the day before a test he'll give a review that goes over almost everything on the test. half of the semester's in class grades and papers are dropped at the end of the semester, final is previous tests put together in one. very interesting class, krumme is a very good teacher.

Krumme is a great teacher; he is one of the best science teachers I have ever had. He makes everything he lectures about interesting. Most of his homework assignments and short quizes are for a completion grade, so your grade can be easily raised that way. His class isn't the easiest, but if you study you will do fine.

He's great! If you have to take this class, I would certainly recommend him. The class isn't easy for a gen/ed so ya gotta study a lot. He wants to help his students learn the material and goes about it in a fun way. The class is large, so you may get overlooked, but dont get discouraged- show up for class and you get easy points!

Krumme is an awesome teacher! he makes everything raelly interesting in his lectures. the test are pretty long, and can be tricky, and you will have to study, but he makes it fun. if yuo have to take tihs class, definitly make sure to get krumme!

Krumme is great. I have had some awful teachers and he's great. He makes lectures as intersting as possible. He has some funny stories to add in all the time. His tests are hard but not so bad if you study. Lots of quizes but he doesn't really grade them and very little homework. If you have to take thins class deffinatly take him.

I highly recommend Krumme for this course. He is a very good teacher in that he makes the material easy to learn by making it interesting. The tests and quizzes are hard, but as long as you study, you'll have no problem getting at least a B. Krumme comes off as a little harsh at times in his teaching methods, but that's just his style. good professor, knows what he is talking about. final exam is easy, right from old tests. take good notes, go to every class (especially the ones right before breaks), he'll throw pop quizzes out but for participation points only. tests not too bad if you study the lecture notes and read book.

Excellent instructor.This course is difficult and it's that way for a reason.He's trying to weed out those who want to take this field of study lightly and I say bravo!This field of interest has no room for error and therefore should be difficult.This is a great class to measure your knowledge and drive in the medical field.

Krumme is a very good professor. He keeps it very intersting. You must study pretty much everything for the tests, and that is a lot. If you are going to be a BMS major or minor, take it with him. If you just need a science credit, this may be a little too difficult.

All around, this is a good course. There were 3 tests in lecture and 3 in lab, with one final lecture test. The tests were hard, but not impossible. Sometimes the lectures were not helpful, but most of the time he did a good job. Recommend this prof to anyone interested in science.

This is a very interesting class. I would not suggest taking it if you are not majoring in the science area; however, if you are then he is a very intelligent professor. Tests aren't too bad as long as you study ALL of the notes. He makes it very relevant to everyday life. Take him!

Very good teacher...he really knows what he is talking about and relates the information to every day life which is very helpful. I DO NOT recommend taking this class unless you are interested in science because I did TERRIBLE! However, if you are looking for a professor for the class he is deff. the one to pick!

If you are going to major in BMS you will love this class. If you are taking it as a Gen Ed, make sure you take 100 and not 110. The class itself is very interesting and enjoyable to go to. Tests however are rather difficult. My advice, try to find someone who has last semesters tests and use the book too to study. Overall, interesting/challenging

VERY good teacher. The class itself is challenging but most people should know that going in. He knows his stuff. Sort of arrogant, but funny, too. Lab tests can be pretty hard, but lecture tests usually aren't too bad. I recommend him.

Krumme was an excellent teacher! He has a great sense of humor, is slightly arrogant, but he did make the class worth showing up for. I would recommend him over Gordon from what I've heard from people in my lab. Find someone who had the class last semester and get their tests~ they are pretty much the same from semester to semester.

At the beginning, Krumme made me really nervous, seemed to have a foul attitude, the material was overwhelming, and I was hoping to just past with a C. HOWEVER - I realized Krumme just has an offbeat personality, actually a cool guy. I studied a lot, but the material is not impossible! You're SUPPOSSED to study! Wound up with an A.

I absolutely loved Mr. Krumme's class. His sense of humor is great, and he makes class so interesting. Also, he only slightly changes his exams from year to year so find someone who has had the class, and study their tests and you will get a great grade! I HIGHLY recommend Krumme for this class.

Krumme is a WONDERFUL teacher! I knew nothing about BMS coming into this class but still got an A. Most of his test questions are the same as previous semesters, so all you have to do is study those. You do have to study and go to class, but Krumme keeps it intersting and really knows what he is talking about. My best teacher this semester!

Coming into this class, I knew nothing about biology and no one with copies of his old tests. I pulled off an A by studying A LOT before every test and acing the final. (The final was word-for-word from the previous tests.) Go to class everyday because he gives attendance points. If you're a good, dedicated student, you'll be fine.

If you want to learn interesting things and stuff that you thought were not interesting, he makes interesting! he has a lot of quizzes but after the quiz he gives the answers before picking up the quizzes!! only 4 test and if you know the stuff you will know it! DONT THROW TEST AWAY, THE FINAL EXAM IS CUT AND PASTE FROM PREVIOUS TESTS!!!

Krumme is awesome! He makes the information intersting. The class requires studying, it is not an easy A, but i think his test are fairly simple. He gives answers to quizzes before you turn them in! Everything he gives will only help you. I really enjoy his lecture!Take him for lab if you can as well!!

The lectures are usually interesting and the tests are pretty tough.

He's fast in his lectures, but if you pay attention and actually write things down you can do fine on the tests. They are tough, but he drops the lowest score. He makes the lectures enjoyable to say the least. Don't take if you aren't going to try.

Krumme is simply a genius. Some people found this class difficult, but I loved it and I didn't think it was that tough. Just do your work, DO YOUR PART IN LAB, and you will get at least a B. I got an A by studying, attending every class (you get points just for showing up), and applying myself in lab (even if it is only worth 1 credit). Yay Krumme!

Great class and teacher. He's a very smart guy who makes class enjoyable. I had to study a lot for the 3 lecture tests, but the final is copy and pasted from the 3 tests, and he posts the answers by his office. The lab is difficult, so be prepared to study and work a little bit. As long as you find the material at least a bit interesting you're ok.

I'm just a freshman, but it's quite possible he'll be the best professor I'll ever have. Very clear, very funny, very smart, very personal. Take his classes. Seriously.

If you're taking this class for Gen. Ed, I recomend that you take something else. It's a challenging class, but Krumme is a good lecturer. The tests are difficult and fairly long (103 questions). You just have to study ALOT.

Excellent professor. Always made things interesting and was always willing to help. Tests were tough but easily managable if you study and don't fall behind.
