gives a lot of extra credit only if he feels like it. Gives terrible notes...and i couldn't understand what was going to be on the tests. He just blows threw class just to get it done with.

I took Greg for A&P I and when I was done, I was so impressed I signed for his Summer A&P II. Even though we had to cover this entire subject during Summer,I was really prepared me for my Nursing classes that I am doing well in now. He is not easy at all, but he is fair!
Greg is a fantastic instructor! He inspired me to go into a healthcare profession because of all of the amazing things the human body can do! I would love to take him again! Challenging but impressive!
I thought Greg was a great professor, and I would take him again. He's entertaining, but structured and organized. I would absolutely take him again.
RUN THE OTHER WAY! IF YOU ARE GOOD AT TAKING TEST THEN TAKE HIM. BUT IF NOT DONT. EVERYTIME YOU COME IN YOU HAVE A TEST IN HIS CLASS. AND HE WILL EVEN TELL YOU HE DOESNT HAVE ANY PASSION FOR TEACHING THIS SUBJECT. SO ITS NOT WORTH WASTING YOUR MONEY. HIS VOICE WILL PUT YOU RIGHT TO SLEEP. TAKE MY ADVICE AND SIGN UP FOR SOMEONE ELSE!
Quite possibly the BEST instructor I've ever had. The class was not easy and it's not supposed to be. Greg is very good at weeding out those that dont want to put in the work- he even says as much. He was always helpful and fair. The final will be cumualitive so take good notes and review them throughout the semester. Unfortunately he's gone to NM!
good teacher but very very hard! he is very thorough and i learned a lot from him...just be sure NOT to take his class for the summer. everything is crunched and you barely have time to study...there is a quiz every class!
One of the worst teachers Ive had, and I am an A student. Doesn't field questions well. Seems to think he knows more than books. Spends more time talking about how he dislikes administrators than teaching. Goes on and on about what he knows. Spends too much time not making eye contact with females.
Great teacher, very intellectual and helpful! Made all classes very interesting :)
don't bother. find someone eles. anybody!
The BEST teacher I ever have had!!!!! For those that don't like him its because you don't want to put in the studying to earn your grade!
boring. drones on and on. little to impressed with himself for most tastes
wouldn't take again
He talks super low so you can barely hear him, and he says he does it on purpose. Anatomy reguardless is going to be a hard class. He gave us test every class, but i eventually got used to it. I passed with an A. You just have to do your part.
I passed his classes with an A, yes it was very hard and required a lot of work but I am glad I took him! This class is not for those who don't like or have a lot of time to study. Study group is very helpful in this class, I loved his class!
Talks low yes. Don't know why. But makes you pay more attention I guess. Great professor though.
Greg Bohm has academic standards and wants the absolute best. He is different in that he challenges you to dig deeper than the book and learn. In regards so some previous comments, yes we did have 3 hours of lecture on STDs and the female reproductive system. We all learned a lot. Thank you, Greg, for preparing us for our clinical programs.
His lab isn't easy. Tests every lab. But what is superb is that it makes the lecture go a lot easier. If you are used to getting the easy A, forget it here. Very fair and knowledgeable; fields questions easily. Just don't expect a free ride. If you want to slack, he wants you out of the class. Outstanding professor; best I've had.
He's not thilled with the text, and wants to work past it. If you are prepared to work hard, you'll get the grade and learn a lot. Otherwise, do like the others and run. Or he'll ask you to get out of his class. Its in all the way, or nothing. If you work the system and want the easy "A," yes, you sould run away. Best professor I've known.
Probably one of the most difficult classes I've ever taken. Greg Bohm is definitely one of the best professors I've ever had! He makes you work hard and gives you real life scenarios to work with. I recommend him if you to people who want truly want to apply themselves and take learning to a new level. Best A I've ever made :)
Had Dr. Bohm for BSC 1086 Lab. He is a great professor. He comes off tough at first, but he eventually lightened up as the class progressed. He wants you to understand the fundamentals of anatomy and apply them to every day situations. Gives tests every lab which are graded immediately. Wished I had him for the lecture. Lab was easy A.
Without reservation, the best professor. He wanted us to work together and succeed. Don't look for a free ride; Greg doesn't tolerate slackers. With him, you have to commit to learning.

The only reason I'm kicking *** in the USF nursing program is because I took his classes. Last semester all A's. He prepares you, but only if you give the extra effort. Hard but fair. Go for it.
wish i had taken someone else. am this semester
dropped. want to learn went somewhere else
wasted time.
DO NOT take him unless you HAVE to. Completely skips the basics and jumps to minute clinical details. Test questions that aren't in either powerpoints OR textbook, nearly impossible to study for. 100% student from AP 1 struggling to maintain my 90% in this class... Extremely frustating
He is one of the most passionate teachers I have every met. I learned a lot from him. If you are serious about nursing this is your man. The lecture is hard as hell you feel like you are in medical school. His lab is awesome like no other. I highly reccomend him. Requires a lot, fair a little creey and inappropriate, but I liked the class.
As stated before, if you are serious about Nursing, he will take notice and help you through. Be prepared to not have a life when you're in here with him, because A&PII is an incredibly difficult class, and he is an incredibly difficult teacher. Once you get into your nursing program, however, you'll be glad you took him! :)
I learned more in one week in his class than in whole semesters in other ones. Stay away if you want the easy A; take him if you have the extra hours and want to kick in Nursing. A lot of us are going to keep the tradition and thank him in our pinning ceremony.
Prof Bohm is the best there is when it comes to AP II. If you are serious about nursing this is your guy. The lab is a must. The class is not easy. He is passionate about nursing and can tell if you are NOT. Work hard apply yourself. Talks about sex alot if you are easily offended be aware. I thought he was funny. Best class for your nursing career
Decent instructor but way to inappropriate. Insults to many things he dont like. to forward. to much sex innuendo
The hardest class I ever took but the best. How can you explain STI's and not mention sex? Losers who don't cut it have to look for some excuse. Ask the top students in the nursing program who to take.
Professor Bohn is a great teacher. The class is hard but he makes it fun. Explains everything cleraly. Attendance is mandatory and there is a quiz every class, ut if you pay attention you will pass them. He drops the five lowest scores. He made Biology interesting!! I got a B and I hated science before this class.
Awesome. A lot of work, but his classes get in your blood. If you take his lecture, take his lab. He works them together like one. Goes way beyond the book.
Highly recommend Dr. Bohm! If you are looking to get an easy A, this is not the professor for you. Hes tests are hard and yes you'll have to study, but hes fair and more than willing to help you learn and grasp the concepts.Hes not your typical teacher and is very clinical. If nursing is in your future then hes your guy.
If clinical is what you want, he's your professor. No work sheets or study guides for tests. Greg changes your way of learning. The best ever. Thank you.
If nursing is where you want to go, take him. The doctors I work for went through his take-home tests with me and say the same. I even taught them some things. Stay away from if you like the easy A. You have to work hard. Take lecture and lab from him because he puts them together. Great sense of humor and has some Gothic in him.
Took Greg for AP Lab2, wish I would have taken him for lecture as well. He is fair, interesting and REALLY wants his students to learn. He is one of the best professors I have had. He is brilliant!
Not a professor not a doctor just an adjunct. Ego feeding is main goal. If students learn great but him feeding his own Ego is his plan. Those with self esteem and eyes see it. Those who dont follow pied piper and stories without merit. Jus
Professor B is one of the best teachers I have ever worked with. The class is not easy, but he is very fair and very willing to work with you. Get ready to learn :) !
One of the best instructors I have ever had! Very knowledgeable! He definitely knows what he is talking about! He does not use the text very often but neither did my ap 1 instructor. I highly recommend Bohm! He is very helpful and understanding! Bohm makes the class interesting, enjoyable, and exciting! I always looked forward to class!
The best. Intense classes. Fun and very, very clinical. A must if Nursing is where you're headed. You can get an "A", but you have to work for it. I learned so much and will always remember the spontaneity.
Fields all questions with ease. Most challenging class imaginable. Learned more with Professor Bohm than all others combined. You won't have a life for a semester. This is the one class you will never forget. A must if you are going into Nursing. Awesome, funny, and down to earth. Beware if want the easy A because it won't happen.
Take Sciali. I should have.
Most everyone thought he was awesome. Don't take him if you want the easy "A" because it won't happen. Definitely the class if you want to go into Nursing. Best class ever. Thanks.
Hard but very fair. Sit in on one of his classes before taking him and decide for yourself. He gives you the opportunity to get the "A" but you have to work for it. He doesn't give work sheets and you have to apply what you learn for tests. Toughest class I've taken but the best.
Dont bother.
Amazing! Still teaching.
Anyone who comments this is an easy class didn't take it. But its the best. I am finishing the USF nursing with all A grades. Because of his class. I share notes with others. Best lab and lecture in Tampa. If you have the time to put into learning what he gives, the payoff is big.
Dropped his class because of personsal problems, but he had a way of connecting with all of of us in the class. Lectures are very clinical and expect it in tests. Really wish I didn't have to drop the class.
Wish I took him for AP1. How else to describe him? The bad comments are from students who want to be told what to memorize. You will learn a lot. Take him if you are serious. Stay away if you expect the easy A.
Learned a lot in lab but had to drop. Professor Bohm turns labs into clinical experiences. Tests every week. Hard but fair. Wish I took him for lecture.
Be prepared to work hard and learn. Easy going and fun, but you have to do your part. The best!
His labs kick!
I really enjoyed this class. He made it fun and engaging, and he greatly encouraged the class to get to know one another. There was a test every week, but if you paid attention to the lecture, you didn't have a problem. I would highly recommend taking any of his classes!
I work in the ER and got help from the doctors and nurses. They all said the class and lab will pay off later. Definitely not the easy "A" if that's what you want. Very fair but you won't have a life.
This was a very difficult class for me, I am not very good at Science to begin with, but he definitely challenges you and you have to put the work in. I got an "A" but I read a lot and studied a ton! He is very helpful, especially if he sees you are making an effort. If you put the work in, you can get a good grade!
This class was definitely NOT easy, however, I HIGHLY recommend it if you are going into any of the Allied Health fields. The depth of material covered in this class will surely prepare you for a career in any health field!! I urge those 'medical folks' out there at HCC to take him for A&P 2 and if he is teaching A&P 1, grab that one, too!!!
Best teacher I have ever had in my entire life. He will take hours out of his day just to help you understand topics you may have problems with. I recommend him for AP LAB over anyone else.
I took him for Anatomy II lecture and lab also. For lecture he is not the best but explains everything and I mean every detail. His labs are the best he gives you a presentation then you do the cilinicals, attendance in lab is mandatory sine he gives a quiz every time . He curves and also drop the lowest scores. If you going into medical take him!!
had him for lecture and lab to. lectures are boring and drone on an on. labs are childish. grades on a curve so an easy A. not worth it for serious students.
Had him for lab, he is one of those teachers that goes above and beyond any expectations. He makes you think clinically rather than just boring memorization. He is hilarious and will help you any time he can.
His class changed how I study; he gave us the direction to stop memorizing facts. Best ever if your willing to work.
Great teacher! Learned a lot had fun too!
AWESOME PROFESSOR explains everuthing in detail cares about the student and very funny. It was a pleasure to take his class.
He's crazy in a good way...lot of fun but intense and really knows what he's talking about. I was accepted into medical school because he showed me the way. If you get the opportunity, take him.
Just finished the most difficult and rewarding class ever. Already I miss the intensity. He is like a drug that you don't want to let go of. Highly recommended.
Changed my life. Others too. Take him if you get the chance. Very best ever. But you have to be ready for change; wont be easy.
it got old listening to how great he thinks he is all the time. also says he is hard and yet A's were handed out like crazy. he grades on a curve so pretty easy to get a good grade. would i take him again? no. listening to his ego trip all the time grew old but i did see many who fell for it.
Bohm is an amazing teacher! This class was enjoyable but difficult. If you're looking for an easy A,you won't get it. He is very helpful and prepares you greatly for nursing school. I recommend taking him if you plan on being a nurse but plan on working for your grade. He's Amazing and so knowledgeable!
Hardest 2 As I have ever earned, but WOW you LEARN A TON! He is no joke with the amount of work and "no life" for his class, but if you are SERIOUS about nursing/health field, TAKE HIM! If not, find another prof b/c you will want to die. FORMING A GREAT STUDY GROUP IS A MUST OR YOU WILL NOT PASS! Not "fun" but VERY INFORMATIVE and gives XC.
The people on here who are bashing him obviously could not handle him. I have never learned so much in any class. Take him if you are serious about getting in & staying in a nursing program. He is an awesome teacher. POINT BLANK! He's tough, but amazing.
Awesome. You have to work, but it's worth it. I've been an LPN for ten years, and he doesn't miss. Plus a lot of us had physicians working with us. The best; take him while you can.
I read all the comments on how everyone says he is so hard yet everybody got an "A"?? He isn't hard he just says he is. He is as easy as any adjunct. An how come all these people supposedly had doctors working with them? Really that many bored doctors? I hardly studied an got an A, everybody gets one and dont know anyone who even knew a doctor!!
Greg, is very knowledgeable and comes across to be difficult but he's a big teddy bear. He gives a ton of work but is fair in grading. I received an A but had to work very hard for it in six weeks summer course. The lab is just as intense, and can be very difficult at times. He tries to make fun but keep him on the task at hand. Take him...
take him. he is so great. learned a lot. it was not an easy A but worth it.
Didn't follow conventional memorize-details curriculum. Looking back, I now have my PhD because he encouraged students to stray out of that academic memorization box. And think! I got an A but only because his lectures and labs were intriguing.
Of all professors in undergraduate and graduate courses, hands-down the best. Answers questions with ease. I will receive my PhD in a few weeks, all because he taught me how to research, read, study, and read. Come to class prepared and awake. He focuses on preparing students for entry into clinical programs.
Great Instructor! You will learn alot because he makes it easier to understand
I am getting my PhD at the end of the year and he didn't abandon me for even one moment. Lots of internet discussion, but worth every minute. Vitality, great for good students, and always got rid of the rotten apples quickly.
His classes usually have no seats left within a few hours of the college opening classes for registration. If you expect a passing grade because of minority status, not going to happen. His lecture material is difficult, but there are ample handouts plus they can be accessed online. Always has extended office hours to answer questions. The best
I hear he's going to instruct a few more classes. If he does, jump at the opportunity. You will learn more in his classes than most others and walk away with real-life knowledge instead of book-memorizing. Greg encourages students to work together as teams and will spend whatever time is needed to be sure you understand. Solid reputation,
Only professor that demanded academic excellence. Memorization was discouraged, and his test questions required integration of several topics. Am writing this because am now a practitioner and educator at one of the best medical universities in the US. Only because he challenged me and insisted on excellence. The best.
Classes were full within hours of registration. He opened them to 10 more students. Those from other classes would sit in. You may not have a "life," but worth every minute. He does not tolerate students who slack and insists they help one another. I'm a physician now, but only because he showed me the direction.
He substituted for another professor who was in a hospital. Best ever and insists on active student participation. Lot of reading, but everything was posted online. Most memorable moment was when everyone in the class had to listen to my child's heartbeat and lung sounds. He detected a slight arrhythmia and insisted/payed for annual checks.
He encouraged me to continue education and get into medical school. Introduced me to a medical facility where I could observe. Got a part-time job there and will be getting my MD soon, only because he worked his you know what off to get a group of us into graduate school. Demands a lot academically, but if you do your part, the best "A" ever.
He donated a few weeks of lectures. No one looked at a watch. He wanders through isles of students and unexpectedly spends a moment reviewing your notes. If a key point is missing, more lecture to talk about it. He addresses students by their first names, which most professors can't do after after an entire semester.
He was "behind the scenes" for a class and presented some lectures. Every question answered with piercing depth. He also welcomed parents into classes and labs. Yes, as most others say, a lot of work. But a class that prepared me and many others for advanced sources in health professions.
The best. Encourages group participation. Be ready to work, because not the easy A.
As most others say: absolute best. I liked how if he was asked a good question, would take the time to explain everything. He never looked at the clock, and would make sure we all understood. No one cared if he got off-topic because we'd learn. Wrote some excellent textbooks that would help anyone in anatomy and physiology. Also microbiology.
Word is he's considering teaching another AP class. If he does, 95% of students agree not an "Easy A", but in my opinion you can't get better. Very clinical, but put in words we all understood. Look Greg up and ignore the few who bash him; he didn't tolerate "free-riders."
None better! Ask a good question and he integrates details not found in textbooks or on the internet. Knows every student's name after the first class. Encourages students to form study groups and always available to help. Solid reputation as the best.
Amazing lectures with accompanying hands-on labs. Outstanding reputation. Parents,, other faculty, and administrators would also sit-in during classes. Very clinical and half-day visits to hospitals. After eight years of academics, he was the best.
Makes complex topics easy to understand and in real-life terms. The best!
