The material is easy if you take time to learn each process well (the first time). He is well rounded, straight forward, extremely understanding and very respectful! Homework/ attendance exists only to gage participation. Please do not take advantage of him, bc he is strongly committed to your success. We love him in stats!
This guy was always around for help. Emails work the best, he usually responds fast and it ready to help you! Really made me interested to come to class which is not like me:)
Receive participation for showing up to class. Test are extremely easy. He is there if you need the help. Tries making the class fun as possible. You do not need a text book. Two exams (peace of cake) and a page paper double space. Highly suggest!
A very helpful teacher who cares about the students opinions and success.
Awesome professor. He really cares about his students and the subject. Of all my college courses, his teaching method is the best I've come across. His lessons are actually fun and he puts a lot of effort into teaching. Love this class!
One of few best professors you may ever have. He is very involved, concerned, helpful well-rounded and highly considerate of the class's opinion (in other words, he treats you as a fellow adult and addresses concerns). I really enjoyed his class and class-driven discussions. He is entertaining and laid-back. HIGHLY-recommended.
Easily one of my favorite professors. He is so helpful and his lessons are VERY interesting. His methods are the best I've come across at ASU and its' a shame he isn't teaching more classes. He puts a lot of effort into lessons.
very easy and helpful teacher class was pretty easy one paper and one midterm is all you really have to do. You get a little points for showing up to class but attendance is not really mandatory
Very helpful professor who has a genuine interest in teaching his students. Greg took the time out to learn every person's name in a large class and went out of his way to make sure everyone received the assistance they needed to be successful in the course.
Greg is a great professor, he takes genuine interest in his students. He only wants to see us as students succeed, he has to assign projects but he makes sure they reflect your passions. Which is rare in college where we are just assigned topics. I wish he was teaching more classes.
Very helpful, made a 3 hour night class bearable. He tries to encourage students to follow their goals and dreams. Tests aren't terribly difficult and two projects were also easy but still learned alot about the court system.
Broberg is an awesome professor he keeps the class busy with work but he goes through each assignment and exam thoroughly with the class before anything! Attend class and do the work and you will get an A forsure! He gives extra credit as well.
Really good teacher. The class is easy if you're into it. He let us choose how we would like to be graded. We chose no exams and he let us.
Best teacher I've ever had in my life. The final was a movie critique! He let us choose if we wanted exams or not. Very relaxed teacher and very easy class especially if you're interested in it. Make sure you take one of his night classes though.
I FRIKKINGGGGGGG LOVE THIS PROFESSORRRRR HES SUCH A SWEETHEART!!!! This professor is hilarious and very clear! all his work in class is presented in very fun ways like cocktail parties and everything is straight forward. Even if you didnt prepare very well, he will give you more than enough times to prove that you understand whats going on.
Mr. Broberg is hands down my favorite professor at ASU for the 4 years I've been there. He makes subjects so interesting and fun! His teaching methods are fantastic and he is so laid back and passionate about what he does. Attendance isn't mandatory but his classes are so interesting you will want to go to class. He really should be teaching more!
Great professor! You'll definitely take him again.
I've taken two classes with him so far and wish he taught more. Even in a 'boring' class he makes it fun. He also understands that you have a life outside of the classroom, and as long as you communicate he will help you out.
Professor Broberg is an amazing teacher! I will go out of my way to take him again. I didn't dread going to class he always kept it interesting. He never wants to waste your time nor his. He is always there for you. He would make time during the class to make sure everyone is caught up. TAKE HIM. His tests are open note open book and online.
Take Professor Broberg ANY chance you get.
Broberg is one of the best professors I have had at ASU. He gives two 15 question quizzes online each one takes like 5 mins. The rest of the class revolves around 2 papers. He gives you time to work in class on them. He doesn't give a page count, he's looking for quality rather than quantity. Hands down would recommend him to anyone.
Professor Brobergs class was incredibly easy and enjoyable. There were two written assignments and two quizzes. He is a professor who is actually interesting, funny, and cares about the well-being of his students. He gives credit for attendance so it is vital you do not miss, but it is a guaranteed A if you do the work required.
Broberg is such a chill professor. He is very helpful throughout the class, if you need help ask and he will help. We had two papers, and him and his TA give really good feedback, and the first paper you can redo and resubmit if you do bad. There are 3 exams one in class open book, and two online. I would defiantly take his again.
Mr. Broberg is an amazing instructor. I took him for research methods and it was a very difficult class but he made it so much more easier. He is also very helpful all you have to do is ask and he will be there for you. Definitely take him if you can!
Great professor. He definitely wants his students to pass and will do anything to make that happen. I would definitely take him again.
Online summer course, loved the content, very interesting class. There are multiple videos open to watch about specific serial killers. He is a little tough on grading written assignments but other than that. Only an assignment a week and then 2 exams and a written final.
Best professor! I took him for Homicide and Serial killers class and he showed great interest in the class and material. I had it at 9am and its not attendance based but its that one class that is so interesting that I showed up to every lecture. He makes learning fun. Quizzes can be taken anymore, Very easy! Easy A!
Dr. Broberg is one of the best professor's I have ever had. He literally tailors the class and the schedule/grading criteria according to the student's needs. Attendance is not mandatory but I would recommend going to class as he provides really helpful advice on how to do well on the limited number of assignments in the class.
Very fun professor, entertaining, easy grader, minimal homework, interesting material. Would definitely take him again.
Professor Broberg is one of my favorite professors at ASU. He really cares about his student's success and makes the class super easy to pass. Show up and you'll get an A. Attendance isn't mandatory but its good to know what happens in lectures. Simple assignments make up the grades, one two page paper at the end is due. 10/10 recommend
He is very passionate about what he teaches and is very fun. He gives good feedback on assignments and interacts with his students. Very laid back. Do the work and you'll pass, but go to his class because his lectures are always very interesting.
The class itself is pretty tough, but the teacher was so caring and helpful that it made it easier. Broberg is extremely friendly and nice, cares about your grade, and will move assignments around if it is easier for us. 3 essay quizzes and a paper is the main grade. Haven't missed this class once because of him. Will definitely take him again.
Attendance wasn't mandatory, but almost everyone showed up to every class because lectures are always so fun, interesting, and engaging. There are so few homework assignments in this class, and we had one book we were supposed to read but no assignments/quizzes on it. We had one test and he gave us every answer in class before the test.
One of the best professors at ASU. Knows that students take this class as an easy A course and makes the class super fun and easy to pass. Lots of group work, but super easy work. Basically show up to class (or don't) and you'll pass. He's very understanding of the fact that we have more important classes to worry about. Highly recommend.
There's an understanding between the students and professor Broberg that this class is going to be easy. Although attendance isn't mandatory his lectures are great and interesting and the majority of students always showed up. It's a low effort course and he basically gives you the answers to the test. Short and easy writing assignments.
I took his JUS 207 Homicide and Serial Killers course and loved it! The course material itself was super interesting, and Broberg made learning in his class very enjoyable. Despite attendance was not mandatory for this course, the positive learning environment Broberg created made his students genuinely want to go to class.
One of the best professors I've ever had. If you come into class and participate you will pass with a good grade. If you don't understand something he will try his hardest to help you out. He grades fairly and based on very clear rubrics. Overall a great professor and I would recommend you take his classes.
This is one of the most interesting and fun classes Ive ever taken! You can tell Prof Broberg cares about the material he is teaching. He gives straight forward directions for assignments and all of the assignments are interesting. If you are able to, I definitely suggest taking this class.
Attendance is mandatory, but it's 100% worth going to. Broberg is REALLY awesome, hilarious, and engages the class. The class itself was definitely one of the most interesting classes I've ever taken. Engaging activities, very few quizzes, mystery assignments, and surveys to check if you're in class.
he seems like a nice, caring professor but this class was extremely boring and I really did not learn anything. He taught the class like a freshmen high school teacher would if that makes sense. But it was one of the easiest A's I have ever gotten in my life so if you don't care about Justice studies then I would suggest this class.
I had Broberg for Homicide and Serial Killers course and I learned so much! Easy A and he makes class so much fun!
One of the most understanding & helpful professors out there. Dr. Broberg designed JUS207 with busy students in mind, since his class consists of a lighter courseload for college students who need to focus on their difficult classes. Nonetheless, I learned a lot about criminal justice & social institutions from Dr. Broberg. Very interesting class!!
Dr. Broberg makes this class VERY simple to get an A! Most work will be done in class (barely any homework) & they're all easy to complete. You'll have a film review & final paper (both pretty easy, about 2-page double-spaced). Attendance is mandatory, but it's honestly cool and worth it! Take this class if you are in doubt - you won't regret it!!
Hes nice and funny
This class is great. If you have watched and enjoyed shows about serial killers, you'll like this class. Mr. Broberg is always in a good mood no matter how grim the subject is and the class is truly one of the more enjoyable electives offered at ASU. Don't expect it to be a class you can blow off though.
Nice guy, however for a level 300 class, teaches the course as if it's a high school class. Grades are pointless worksheets and MANY papers I've only had graded by his TA that have been harshly graded by a very vague "rubric" with little explanation of why points were taken off. Class is a waste of time and you learn nothing, but takes attendance.
It's a cool class if you're into crime. Professor Broberg is very clear on his expectations and his assignments are relevant to course readings. There are assignments that are due every week but that are easy to do. You do need to buy the textbook. You do have to put a lot of work into the class, but it is totally worth it.
Dr. Broberg is a great professor and cares about how his class impacts your life. This class was fun, because he applied the old-times theories to modern day justice-related issues so it's much easier to understand the theories he presents. He is accessible outside of class if you make the impact. He is lenient with grading, so you will pass!!
SUPER easy. Each week there are a few assignments that are quick questions and sometimes writing assignments for the final paper. There is a group video project due at the end of the semester which is super easy as well. He gives EC opportunities. Textbook is mandatory... I never used it, but you need it for the online code. Highly recommend!
Professor Broberg was one of the best teachers I've have so far. He genuinely cares about his students and wants them to succeed. You do need to put plenty of effort into your work and turn it in on time. It's definitely worth coming to class. Very inspirational. He provides his own reading material so you don't need to buy textbooks for the class.
Good points: VERY fast responses to emails. Course content is interesting. He seems like a nice and caring professor. No textbook! Bad points: Assignments were extremely unclear, I and other group members had to email for clarification several times. Lots of work each week. TAs provide no feedback as to why points were lost.
Take Professor Brobergs classes! He is caring and understanding. There may not be a clear rubric but whenever I asked for clarification, he was quick to respond through email. The lectures were interesting. 3 papers and a few short answer responses to DB, plus 2 debates. My final grade would have been an A if he didnt round it up to an A+. :)
Look for an online book for this course! Broberg is one of the most caring people I've ever met. He responds to emails quickly and is ready to help out. The reading are quite long but that's what happens when it's a half-semester class. Easy class since the homework and quizzes are just based on the book. Writing assignments were a bit repetitive.
Very easy to get an A in this class. Professor gives a lot of extra credit assignments and the quizzes are open book. The chapters are quite long and very in-depth so they take some time to get through. This class is more around the psychology behind serial killers verses just reading about cases. Overall I enjoyed the class.
Prof Broberg is probably the best prof I have had at ASU in the three years I've been in school. He responds quickly to any emails you send, especially if through Canvas. He gives detailed feedback and clarifies anything you ask him to. Grades quickly fairly. He genuinely cares about his students' success in his course and in life.
Dr. Broberg is definitely one of the better SST professors. He is very accomodating and genuinely cares about his students' successes. He makes all the assignments very clear. Even the final paper wasn't so bad because he made sure to provide tons of help leading up to the due date.
His a great professor and is very understanding.
He is amazing at being a teacher, he has like a ton of degrees in education. He keeps track of attendance but it doesn't count toward your grade but you should always attend class because there's lots of group work and you will really miss out if you don't. Also, only really take this class if you plan to go to law school it really helps you.
He's great! Class is super entertaining and he provides engaging material. Easy going and accommodating with lots of extra credit opportunities. He is passionate about criminology and makes the content easy to understand. Easy A and the class is actually enjoyable.
I loved this course so much. It was very textbook heavy, but as long as you do your readings the quizzes and assignments are so easy. The topic was interesting though, so it definitely wasn't hard to read the book, it was just a lot of reading. Professor Broberg is very knowledgeable about the topic, and that makes the class even better.
would take any class he teaches. it's clear he wants students to like what they're learning. you do have to read the material, but tests and quizzes are pretty straight forward. as long as you show up and do the work you'll pass and have fun at the same time.
Firstly, he really cares that you enjoy the course. Secondly, he gives you lots of opportunities for extra credit. There is reading involved, but the textbook is super engaging. Some writing is required for the class, but it's nothing too hard and overall the class is super enjoyable. Would take another with prof. Broberg
He is super kind, and he is really good about communicating. I had him for an online summer class and he was really nice to have as a professor. I also really loved the textbook that he chose -- it was like reading a nonfiction book rather than a textbook.
I have taken professor Broberg for 4 classes now. Although some courses might have more assignments than other (i.e. JUS301), the assignments are easy to manage. The assignments are not that difficult, and this class will be an easy A as long as you put in the work. Broberg is a very generous grader, and gives out plenty of Extra Credit!
Professor Broberg was a gem! He gave a lot of extra credit in the beginning of class which helps A TON for the final grade especially if you don't do so hot on the assignments. The work is just to prepare for the final research proposal that is considered the final and it makes it super easy to put it all in one paper. Great class, very recomended.
My favorite Professor so far. He cares so much about his students and gives us random days off. He does not assign much and as long as you do the assignments you should be fine. One big final assignment but it is done in a group. He really does want the best for you so just show up and you will be fine.
Professor Broberg is super kind and teaches interesting content. This class is pretty easy as long as you go to class and pay attention. One thing I disliked about the class was the pace of the final project because it felt sort of rushed. However, I do not think that is any reason to not take Broberg's class.
Dr. Broberg is a great professor and lecturer. He really cares about his students and respects that they have a life outside the classroom. However, do not skip class because it can severely affect your grade. In terms of the class itself, it was definitely manageable. There are several discussion boards, in-class assignments, and one final paper.
Super manageable class. Choose a good group for the final project. I never interacted with him much but he seems like a caring guy!
Dr. Broberg is a very warm person. He really cares about students inside and outside of the classroom. He tries hard to make his class manageable and everything we do has clear value for the future. Lectures are interesting and we had 3 incredible guest speakers. Go to class, do the work (most can be finished in class!) and it's an easy A!
Greg was super fun as a professor but his class sucks. It is sort of interesting in the beginning but the projects he had us do have nothing to do with justice IMO. you'd think it'd be about crime and the court system but we just did a group project on something in tempe like homelessness/drugs. Easy A, but not super interesting. Greg is a g tho
Broberg is my favorite professor this semester and so is his class. It’s mostly lectures, but we watch videos and his commentary is golden. It’s obvious he cares about his students and the course material, and he’s extremely understanding of different circumstances. There aren’t many assignments though, but it’s still a great class
Broberg is awesome! This is one of the easiest classes I've ever taken and the material is really interesting. I would recommend that anyone take this class as an elective.
I loved taking JUS 207 with Professor Broberg! He is such an awesome guy, and his lectures are always entertaining; plus, he is hilarious. Assignments are easy, and he is there if you need help with anything.
This was the best class I have ever taken. I seriously loved the professor and not only was the class so easy it was SO FUN. He makes it so nice for everyone. TAKE THIS!!
Professor Broberg is an amazing professor. He really cares about his students and what he teaches, he will show funny videos and tell you to be safe on the weekends. Honestly the best Professor Ive had by far and this is my second semester in one of his classes. He cares about what he teaches and it shows.
TAKE THIS PROFESSOR!!! I took his Homicide and Serial Killers class, and it was absolutely amazing! He really connects with his students, and this class is the easiest I have ever taken. There are only 2 quizzes for this class, and they are only 30 questions that are word-for-word from his lectures. The course material is also super fun :)
I would 100% take this class again. Professor Broberg is super laid back and nice. There's barely any homework assignments, 3 quizzes, and a film review. Best class I've taken so far.
His classes use to be easy but now theres so much work. The assignments arent really hard but they are too much & multiple are assigned on the same day. His late policy is cool but really sucks he wont budge on it even if you request an extension beforehand due to an emergency out of your control, he will still drop however many letter grades :(
ABSOLUTELY LOVED HIM! His class is interesting but he makes it better. He's very on trend and extremely funny. His exams were open note and online, all multiple choice. It's such an easy class, take it right now. He's so caring that he gave us mental health days where class would be canceled. Great class, and amazing teacher!
Took him for JUS207 as well. My favorite professor of my entire undergraduate degree (just graduated today). Amazing human being and great professor. Will certainly use his background in education to influence his lectures. Remaining in touch with him as I enter post-college world.
I had Dr. Broberg for my JUS 207 class, and I took it not because it related to my major but just because it sounded interesting at the time. Because of his class, I have switched my major to Criminology and Criminal Justice Studies. He is seriously the sweetest and most encouraging professor, always sent us congratulatory messages for good grades!
Excellent professor! Will respond promptly to concerns. Easy reading recitations and grading style. Definitely recommend!
Easily one of the best professors. Funny, understanding and actually cares about his students by providing outside resources especially after graduation. As long as you come to class you'll do just good. Grade is basically based on attendance and a group mediation project.
Broberg does a great job of facilitating an interesting online class. Although the assignments can get a little repetitive, his criteria are very clear and the work is never too difficult. overall great professor and I would recommend you take his classes any chance you get!
Broberg does a great job of creating engaging lectures and setting you up with everything you need to be successful. I really enjoy how he structures this class. I would highly recommend Broberg to anyone interested in taking a justice studies class!
I liked this class and the professor a lot!! He is very engaging and is very open to questions. You also do a lot of group work which is fun and keeps you engaged. As long as you show up and take his notes, it's pretty much impossible to fail.
This is the second class I have taken with professor Broberg and it was another one of the greatest. This class does include a lot of discussion board posts, a midterm, and a huge final group project that requires a lot of attention but no final. Readings are very simple and do not take a lot of time to go through. Would take this class again.
Easy A
Dr. Greg is an amazing professor. I took JUS105 as an elective, and this class alone made me consider switching majors. He is funny, respectful, cares deeply about his students and their grades, and his passion for and knowledge of the subject is clear. Everyone take his classes!
as long as u do good on the test, show up to class, and do all the requirements on the assignment, you should be good. Overall a very interesting class, he cancels class for Halloween and close to break, he also gives lots of time for assignment just dont procrastinate
The professor had good lectures. The assignments were relevant and were always well explained. I thought his canvas page was confusing. The class is definitely more left leaning but it was not too bad.
I recommend sitting in the front if you cannot concentrate well. Attendance is important. if you miss more than 3 classes your grade drops down. If you follow the rubric to a T you will most likely get an A. I missed 3 classes, missed 2 assignments, and did "ok" on my quiz and still passed with a A. THE FINAL is very important! extra credit avail.
was a little too easy.
His lectures/assignments were clear and straight to the point. The textbook purchased was very interesting. Overall great class and great professor!
Such a fun class. Great for anyone who is interested in the law or true crime. Inspired me to add a minor in justice studies. I looked forward to attending this class.
Super cool professor, I looked forward to his classes every week. Very hands-on in the lecture so you will not get bored. He also is so kind and puts so much personality into his lectures it is hard to not be involved.
If you have a chance to have have Professor Broberg, TAKE THE CLASS!! This is only my first year at ASU but he is by far one of my favorite professors. He is highly engaging and so sweet. He throws in jokes from time to time and makes sure everyone is understanding the material. We even spent a couple of classes just watching movies.
Take this class. Prof Broberg is a really sweet guy. He really cares about his students which is why he does not make his Serial Killers class too hard. He knows people are likely not taking it as a major-related course so he is easy on grading and offers lots of extra credit. Quick lectures but incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about subject
This was definitely my favorite class. The class is very interesting and fairly easy. Attendance is mandatory, but the lectures are very interesting and he even provides notetaking guides. There a few writing assignments and tests, but everything you need is in the notes.
Nothing but amazing things to say about Broberg! Take his classes, he cares so much about his students and is so passionate about what he teaches, taking another class with him next semester!
The best professor I've taken. Class is fun and he really cares about his students
Broberg is a super cool guy and I really thought the way he lectured was fun. There are some point heavy writing assignments that come with a struggle but overall, I really liked him and I am taking some of his classes in the future.
I thought this class was interesting and it would have been an easy A if I attended class. The assignments were very straightforward and he tied in the coursework with current events.
Provided good feedback and resources
really chill dude with interesting lectures. you can tell he cares about his students. not too much work aside from the public policy briefs and readings
if you're looking for a course and see this professors name, take it! Super caring guy, his lectures are easy and so are the assignments. The only negative would be attendance is required and you can miss more than a certain number of days, but honestly it isn't much of an issue. Take this professor whenever you can, you won't regret it
Took JUS207, the easiest and funnest class of my entire college experience (I'm about to graduate). Clear grading criteria, the assignments are so fun and interesting. Easiest A of my life. Also, I emailed him on a Sunday at like 6pm and he responded within 10 minutes. Amazing professor, amazing class.
Fantastic professor. The class was very enjoyable and I learned a lot. Dr. Broberg is extremely caring, passionate, and kind. I would definitely recommend anyone taking JUS classes to take Broberg.
Great professor. Class was reading heavy, but as this was an online class, that is to be expected. Well structured materials and coursework and as long as you show participation and engagement, you will do well. Would definitely be interested in taking his class again.
Best Professor at ASU in my opinion. He is a super easy grader, gives clear instructions on his expectation of the class, always communicates with us, and trys to build personal connections. I have taken Jus 105, Jus 207, and jus 360 with him!
Broberg is one of the best professors I've ever had. I love taking any of his classes, no matter the course material. This class has a lot of reading and activities but they're easy to complete and get 100s on. There's a socratic seminar basically every week in this class but they're graded by peers and as long as you talk once you're good.
Weekly readings with short unlocked quizzes. Had a speaker come in each unit to relate to real world. (Good networking, got an internship) Wrote several papers, but they were fairly short. Reflection on 4 speakers, data analysis papers, reflection on an interview with a professional. Fairly easy if you put in some effort. Light lectures.
If you pay attention in class, he gives a good understanding of what he is asking for in assignments. Overall, one of the best professors I have had.
I really liked this class! Professor Broberg is so nice and willing to work with students if anything goes wrong. We had a couple of essays/assignments but all were manageable and he gives a lot of time to finish them. Only had a couple of quizzes but they were pretty easy! Would definitely recommend taking his class!
This class with Professor Broberg was a blast! The lectures were engaging, the assignments fun, and the grading fair. Unstuck AI was a lifesaver for prepping. Even with mandatory attendance, I looked forward to every class.
One of my favorite courses. I loved how most of the assignments were interactive, so there's always case studies, which were very fun. Working ahead helped me so much and the material is easy to understand.
His classes are really enjoyable and hardly any work. He kind of just yaps and has you do a 10 minute assignment once every two weeks.
This is an amazing class that's really entertaining, and hardly any work. The professor obviously just cares about the students having a good time and being happy, so we're assigned a 5-10 minute assignment once every two weeks.
Such an interesting class and a great guy. You learn so much about interesting topics and he is so genuine and passionate about what he's teaching. 100% will be taking his classes in the future
Dr. broberg is the best teacher ever.
Literally such a fantastic teacher! Questions track attendance, but you do have 3 absences for whatever. He posts the slides after class, which makes reviewing or catching up easy. While you have to read and do papers, they are not that difficult to get good scores on as he gives you a layout of exactly what he wants in the documents.
Group work on projects, required discussion boards, required attendance, and extra credit opportunity. Definitely recommend Broberg; super understanding and caring professor. Not easy-A, but super doable A.
He is the best!! He is engaging while he lectures and the course itself is super interesting. I definitely recommend taking it and there is only two exams and a few bigger assignments. He has several extra credit opportunities that bump your grade tremendously.
Took this class as a session A, and it was a little harder than usual, but not bad at all! Broberg is so caring and is one of my favorite professors. There was an essay/project at the end of every module, plus a couple of other assignments each week, but as long as you stay on top of it, it's no problem.,
JUS 207 is the perfect GPA booster. Super easy class. We mostly just take notes and watch movies. Mr. Broberg is hilarious and makes lectures actually fun. Just a heads up: attendance is a big part of your grade, so don't take this class if you're a chronic class-skipper. Show up, vibe, and enjoy the easy A.
Pretty easy class, just make sure to show up and listen to him explain his grading criteria for assignments. Broberg is pretty chill and clearly passionate about what he is teaching. He will send you like 80 reminders if there is an assignment due in like a week tho. I learned a lot and the subject matter is pretty interesting. Highly recommend.
Amazing class—easy, engaging, and interesting. Plenty of extra credit opportunities. Some heavier readings with quizzes or discussion posts. Highly recommend—professor is caring and funny.
Attendance is mandatory but the lectures are very interesting and you always get out early. There are a few assignments and tests but you get a large amount of time to work on them with clear grading criteria. The professor is very kind and always answers emails.
Broberg is a funny and understanding guy. JUS 207 is an elective for most people and he clearly understands that in the amount of work he gives you. Assignments are short and you get out of lecture early. If you are in Barrett ask about doing an honors contract, it is just a flexible side project.
He acknowledges that most people are just taking the class as an elective, so the course load is super light and easy assignments. Most reading you had to do was 30 pages. Easy grader, lots of extra credit opportunities, and class always ended early. Attendance was taken off a one question quiz at the end of class, you need a code to take it.
interesting class! However, he is a hard grader and attendance is mandatory...
