Get ready to do lots of outside homework in Aleks. But if you do it, you're guaranteed to pass the class. A lot of people never showed up to his lecture and wondered why they did poorly. If you go, he basically shows you how to do the problems and the format of the tests come basically from his lectures and Aleks. It's hard, but doable.

Dr. Ferrence was an interesting guy if you didn't have him as a teacher, his lectures were incredibly confusing and he spent more than half the lecture talking about his homework program ALEKS. Whenever I went to class, I left more confused than when I got there. If you don't show up, it's not a big deal.
