Professor Francis is an amazing teacher and a great person. He is very experienced while still being humble and kind (rare nowadays). He gives all the tools necessary to do well in the class. As long as you take advantage, you will do very well.
Professor Francis is one of the best professors I've ever had at BYU! I got to have him for his first semester teaching here for Fall 2023. He's humble, has a good sense of humor, and teaches in a very entertaining way. There were three homework assignments each week and you could reattempt most missed questions with no penalty for the first retry.
Great professor! Just get ready to work. This class is hard so make sure to use help from the TAs and have a study group.
Genuinely my favorite professor I have had in college. Super entertaining lectures, I actually enjoyed them, hilarious guy. He also will take as much time as you need outside of class if you need help on something. You can just tell he LOVES physics, and doesn't mind taking extra hours to help you learn. Made a usually hard class very doable.
Dr. Francis has been the best professor I've had at BYU. Physics can be a tough course but he made it both enjoyable and easy to understand. He includes lots of demos and example problems in his lectures that help prepare you for the exams.
One of the nicest guys ever! I did not do as well as I wanted on the tests but he made the class worth it with his kindness and humility. He is very accessible with office hours, email, and he even gave us his phone number! I wish the tests weren't online but whatever. I wish he were teaching PHSCS 106 next semester!!
If you have to take physics 105, take it from Greg. He cares so much about the students and makes himself as accessible to us as possible. He is fair in grading and makes sure that you understand the concepts. He also makes class very fun. I never thought I'd enjoy physcs. I could talk about how great he is forever but the word count won't let me.
69% C+ puts his life on the line for the demos has the greatest superpower known to man
His lectures are usually pretty good and entertaining. The problem is the assignments. Questions on homework and tutorials are often trick questions, are a lot more difficult than the ones in lecture, and sometimes expect you to know stuff that hasn't yet been covered in class. Tests are also extremely difficult and count for 56% of your grade.
Great sense of humor, and does a good job teaching difficult topics.
Incredible professor, very forgiving grading scale, amazing lectures.
His lectures are very enteraning and he tries to be super engaging. There is a decent amount of workload and the class make you spend time on complicated concepts but he teaches in a very straight forward way. He has taught these concepts for years and has worked hard to refien them so students can understand. I genuinely wish he was my father.
DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS WITH ANYONE OTHER THAN PROFESSOR FRANCIS! HE IS A GEM TO BE TREASURED! Only complaint I would have is the tutorial hour is a COMPLETE waste of time but all the professors have that. SIGN UP SIGN UP SIGN UP!
I cannot express how amazing of a professor Dr. Francis is. He truly is dedicated and very intelligent, but more so than that, he is an amazing teacher. He is able to explain topics so complex so simply and understandably. He is, by far, the best professor I have had in any university class.
If you just take the practice tests a few times before the exams and pay attention in lecture, you will do great. This was genuinely one of the easier classes I have taken so far, only because I took it from Francis. My friends took it from other professors at BYU and would skip their lectures and watch The Francis lectures on youtube instead.
I actually took PHSC 105 from Francis and that class was very good. However, it seems that something changed when it came to PHSC 106 and as a student, despite studying more and being more diligent when it came to phsyics ironically, the class has decreased signficantly in quality. Francis is a nice guy but his exams are poorly worded and prepared.
I have never had a professor more caring and reachable than Dr. Francis. A 90 is an A in his class, and he offers plenty of help prepping for his exams. It's not an easy class, but he's an expert at taking complex physics principles and breaking them down into simple patterns. He's a true friend to his students and will fight for you. He's awesome!
The first part of this class was great but the last unit was an absolute mess. It was disorganized and he jumped to a completely different topic every different lecture. I did not talk to one person who understood the last unit. Not even the TAs could help us with the homework problems. The lectures were also not helpful at all.
This class was so unnecessarily hard... The tests and homework were always confusing and impossible to do without a TA's help. The TAs wouldn't even know how to solve his questions sometimes... He quite literally butchered the whole last unit that was what our final was over. He was sloppy and disorganized because he had never taught it before. RUN
Greg's a great guy, but classwork didn't match the tough homework or sample exams. Questions were vague, solutions never posted, so I couldn't check my work. Some units were harder than needed; even TAs questioned his extra equations. Friends in other sections solved things more simply. Brilliant prof, but over‑complicates and under‑prepares.
there is no teacher at BYU or in the world that cares more about his students, Greg is an amazing person and teacher and I cant empasize that enough. I loved learning from prof Francis, but with that said, I dispise phisics. I dont think it's the professor, just the subject. Some thrive, some suffer. Study and go to the TA lab!
Prof Francis is kind, caring, funny, and an incredibly good teacher. I took both 105 and 106 from him and thought he taught clearly, had clear and fair expectations, and got good grades with a normal amount of effort. If you get above a 90%, you get an A. Seriously, take these classes from him.
I cannot emphasize more about how great Greg is. He really wants you to succeed. Yes, some topics are hard, but that does not mean it's not doable. His class structure is well organized, and it was such a pleasure to take both 105 and 106 from him. 100% recommended! He is the best physics professor.
I want to choose way more good tags than 3, becuase Professor Francis embodies all good things a professor should be. Yes physics 106 is difficult, but it would be regardless of who's teaching it. Greg is a wonderful teacher, person, and example. TA lab for homework, study with friends for tests/tutorials. Read the textbook. Very doable class.
Took 105 from Greg and now 106. 106 is definitely harder content. The final was brutal, but the online sample exams help. I would recommend him for 105 but not 106. The last unit just felt really condensed and confusing. Hw is hard, but TA lab helps...doesn't mean you will understand. He sets up grading to make sure you don't fail, but it is brutal
Don't listen to the previous reviews. Greg is one of the kindest, most understanding, engaging teachers I've had at BYU. Physics 106 has a few more difficult topics than Physics 105 but everyone I've talked to has said that Professor Francis taught it better than previous teachers. His grading system is so forgiving too. TAKE CLASSES GREG!
Greg is seriously the best professor I've had at BYU. He does his best to make a difficult subject as easy as it can be, and he's incredibly kind and caring to his students. Physics is difficult but Greg makes it enjoyable. People who left poor ratings obviously didn't put in the necessary work to understand the material, its not Greg's fault
I would die for Greg. I'm not sure why anyone would have issues with the class. Sure its tough, but no where near as difficult as other courses I've taken at BYU. As far as other people claiming that it is disorganized I have had far far worse and I'm not really sure what they are all talking about as it was fine for me. 90% is an A, 62% is passing
Greg is such an amazing professor. He truly knows how to teach physics at a level that is understandable to all. It was his first semester teachings some units and there were a few hiccups. But I know that he will continue to work to make it more clear. Can't imagine not taking his class. One of the best professors ever. Genuinely loved his classes
Greg is one of, if not, my favorite professor from BYU. I took 105 with him, and he's the absolute best chance you have at loving physics AND doing well. This class is harder compared to 105, but that's expected as it is a higher level class. Go to class, stay on top of your work, and you will do just fine. 1000% recommend!! He's so caring and nice
Others are saying this class was hard. It's not. He is a fantastic teacher, taught the principles we need to know and the homework used those same principles. Those saying it was hard either didn't pay attention in class or didn't watch the posted tutorials/lectures, it is ridiculous to think this class was hard. Pay attention and you'll get an A
Dr. Francis only cares about one thing more than what he teaches: who he teaches it to. He is deeply invested in our success as students AND our well-being. Physics is definitely hard, but I feel like I have a better gut understanding of the concepts because of him. I wouldn't take it from anyone else.
Dr. Francis is the best physics professor I've ever had. I've taken 105 and 106 from him, and I can truly say that no professor cares more about your success. Physics is not an easy material to learn, but if you're still confused, he has office hours and is more than happy to help one-on-one. He is truly the best, you won't find a better professor.
Awesome professor. Cares a ton about students and gives you a lot of opportunities to succeed. The lectures were clear, but you need to come to class having done the assigned reading. If you don't understand the concepts, get help in the TA lab or from Dr. Francis's office hours. Do the homework early so you have time to ask questions.
I have never met a professor who cares more than Greg. The material in this class is difficult and very complex at times, but for someone who is willing to put in the work Greg will be a great teacher. He is always willing to answer questions, be it before or after class or whenever. This class would have been so much harder without him.
He is incredibly caring and helpful. He is the best professor I have ever had at BYU. He is incredible at teaching the material, even when the concepts are tough. He is always willing to meet with students to help them get the grade they want. As long as you're willing to put in the work, you will do great in this class.
Dr Francis is one of my all-time favorites! I think this was his first semester teaching 106 at BYU, specifically optics. He made complicated topics easier to understand. He is willing to help his students who are struggling. It looks like an unhappy student made multiple bad reviews because they didn't do well. He is the best professor for 106
Professor Francis is amazing! He has been my favorite professor at BYU and teaches Physics extremely well. Lectures are very engaging and Greg makes it easy to learn. Homework is important and putting in the time is necessary to learn challenging physics topics, but Greg has so many resources and prepares students very well for exams.
I struggled, but Dr. Francis had everything there to help. I should have reached out more but I didn't. His lectures were great, and he always went out of his way to try to make sure we understood something. His grade scale made up for the toughness of physics, an A is a 90%! He had great demonstrations as well. He is one of the best prof I've had.
Dr. Francis made it so that PHSC106 was simple to me. That doesn't mean that it was easy, but his course and TAs helped me to understand physics in a way that my PHSC105 professor did not. He is a incredible guy and you can't help but enjoy his lectures. Also, the class is fair.
Dr. Greg Francis is the best lecturer I've ever had. He does tons of demos and he makes class a lot of fun. Every single thing he does is recorded as well so you can rewatch it if you are struggling with the difficulty of the material. He genuinely cares about his students and he works really hard to make it a good class. A is a 90Greg is the man.
It wasn't a tough class, but the concepts are tough regardless. He does a lot to help you, between extra reviews, additional topical videos, recording lectures, demonstrations, and open office hours. He also has a kind grade scale, with an A at 90%, much kinder than others. He was always willing to help students and seemed prepared for each lesson.
Professor Francis might be one of the three Nephites. This Montana beauty of a man makes physics fun and relatable. Honestly, such a good guy. It is a physics class and can have challenging topics, but he does his best to help every student out. If you put forth the effort to get TA help and go to his office hours, you will learn physics well.
One of the best professors at BYU. An incredible teacher, genuinely cares for students and the uniqueness of BYU. Always willing to answer questions, goes over more difficult homework in class and makes practice exams available to prep for tests. Not sure what the bad reviews are talking about... do yourself a favor and take this class from Greg!
Dr Francis is the best! He has to be one of the most dedicated, caring, knowledgeable, and clear professors at BYU. He loves teaching and does it quite well. I took both 105 and 106 from him, and he made me love physics (a subject I was not really looking forward to). If you can, take physics from this wonderful individual. You will not regret it!
Greg is amazing, highly recommend! You can tell when a professor knows what they are doing and especially knows how to teach it. Greg kept lectures entertaining and made sure that we understood the content before moving on. It's a hard class and obviously any physics class will be but Greg does an amazing job teaching tough material!
He literally researched how to teach more effectively and led trainings most of his career to help other Physics teachers improve! His teaching predicts the questions I'll have and answers them in a down to earth way. The concepts in Physics 105 and 106 are challenging but with Greg it's down to earth reasoning supplemented with suspenseful demos.
Greg is the best teacher. 106 has more abstract concepts, but Greg teaches them in the best way he knows how. It will take time to learn them for yourself, but he makes it as easy as possible. An A is a 90%, and it is very achievable if you put in effort. Greg cares about each student and is happy to help you if you ask him. There is no one better
This class always made my day. Greg is the most caring teacher I have had at BYU. You will never find a teacher more dedicated to his students, and who will do everything he can to help them succeed. I would recommend Greg to any student!
Dr. Francis's lectures are memorable and engaging, and he also RECORDS them and posts them on Youtube for you!! He is organized and experienced, and clearly loves his job. If you have a hard time with physics, you should expect to struggle regardless of which professor you have, but Dr. Francis is the move. Pay no heed to any negative reviews.
Dr. Francis is amazing! Had him for both 105 and 106 and did not disappoint. 90% is an A, and his expectations are always very clear. He tests what he teaches and never tries to trick you. Any negative reviews are just from people salty that they didn't do well in the class despite it being very manageable.
Greg is the best physics professor at BYU. Negative comments are inaccurate, probably from students who thought they deserved an "A" without effort. HWs are hard, but you can submit answers twice and still get 100%. Answers are shown for every assignment so you can check your work, and you can check all your answers with TAs. Easiest pre-med class
If you have to take Physics 106 you have to take it from Dr. Francis! I have never had a professor who cares so much about his students than Greg Francis. His lectures are interesting, spiritual, and easy to follow. His grading scale is goated too. 90% is an A. 85% A-, 80% B+, 75% B, 72% B-, 69% C+, 65% C. I'm not a good test taker and I got a B+!
Greg is great. That doesn't mean the class is easy, but he gives SO many resources and some attendance and hw drops to help you. You definitely still have to work hard especially if physics isn't your thing, but there's no way you wouldn't get a high grade if you actually use all the help Greg gives.
Dr. Francis is the best professor at BYU and probably the world. He is caring, intelligent, and just knows how to teach. He can teach in a variety of ways that allows every student to learn. Physics is hard in general, but not because of him. If you need to take physics, then wait for Dr. Francis. I would take a class from him over and over again.
Professor Francis is amazing! I've never taken a physics class I actually understood until his! He helped write the textbook and so it goes along really well with what he teaches. He is very clear in everything we need to know and his practice tests represent his actual exams well. Do the readings and homework and you will be ready for the tests.
Honestly if you are taking any physics class, I would take it from him. He teaches the material well and gives you every opportunity to succeed. It is a challenging class but I mean that is physics so take that as you will. He is one of the greats here at BYU. If I had one word to describe him, it would be DAWG. Enough said.
Dr. Francis is one of the best professors I have had. Amazing lectures, cares deeply for his students. Many of the concepts are difficult to grasp, but Dr. Francis offers many opportunities to practice the material in class. He takes time out of his day to record videos to review homework, tutorials, and midterms, which are extremely helpful.
Best professor I have every had at BYU. Yes its a hard class but that's just from the content. Dr. Francis makes it way easier than any other professor! He is super caring and literally makes himself always available to help out. Just pay attention in lecture and actually do the homeworks and you will do great! He is amazing and cares so much!
He is the best Physics professor teaching 105 and106. He really cared about his students, as he chose to teach an additional section just to accommodate students on the waitlist (which means that he got to teach 6h total every Tu and Th!!!) His test is tough, but HWs should prepare you well. It is a blessing that we have him at BYU.
Going into 105 was scary for me as I had never learned physics concepts and dreaded starting. As we got into it I was surprised how hard the problems were and how prepared I felt to do them because of Greg's explanations. He made the geek stuff I'm not good at normal talk and intuitive and I was never tested on something he didn't prepare me for.
I used to really hate physics. It was my least favorite of the sciences and I was dreading taking it. But then I took it from Professor Francis and everything changed. He is an amazing teacher. His lessons are both engaging, funny and educational. He made some super complex topics much clearer for me. My favorite professor. Wish I could write more.
See my review for his 106 class. If you don't want to go there just know that he is an amazing professor and really knows his stuff. He also does his abosulute best to make sure his students understand as well. If there's a topic that is notoriously more difficult, he'll spend more time on it to make sure everyone is where they need to be.
Greg makes physics easy, I played on my phone in every 105 and 106 lecture and got an A+ and A- respectively. If you do bad in his class… college may not be your thing because Greg provides some of the easiest courses you will see as a PreMed or PreDent student.
Class was more complicated that it needed to be. I like him but the information we got from class and reading wasn't really what we needed to know from the test. It just wasn't clear how to best succeed. This was agreed upon among classmates. He does a great job teaching and is brilliant, but it becomes hard to overcome his tests.
This is a tough course because the content is hard! Greg does such an amazing job teaching these challenging concepts as best as he can. Even though some parts were tough, putting in the work with the TAs and yourself out of class is enough to do well in this class. This is the only man that you should take any basic physics class from.
Dr. Francis is the goat. 106 was definitely more challenging than 105, but still very manageable. The grading scheme is set up for you to have success (A is 90%), but that being said the tests will cook you if you don't have a mature understanding of the concepts. Greg wants you to succeed and is an amazing teacher of very challenging topics.
Greg was by far the best person I could've taken both 105 and 106 from. Only reason the difficulty is 3 is because the content itself is difficult. However, it would've been a 5 hands down if I took physics from any other professor. He cares deeply about his students, provides ample resources, and is overall a great human being!
Greg is THE best professor at BYU. I am trying to tell you with all of the energy I can muster in my soul that you must take physics from him. Greg does a phenomenal job of teaching tough concepts. Again, he does an exemplary job of teaching really complex physics concepts and makes it easy. He is so kind and caring he feels like a beloved grandpa.
Dr. Francis asked students to stop writing bad reviews and everyone decided to come to his defense. Greg wants you to succeed. Please, reach out to him if you're failing he WILL help! Despite what some pretentious students say, 106 is anything but easy. Greg would frequently downplay the difficulty of test Qs. Get ready to study hard in this course
When we had a hard time understanding one unit, Greg set aside an extra class period and extra review sessions and pushed the test back and then about 60 something people aced it. He held three class sessions this semester to fit everyone and you could attend any section for points. 85 is an A-, practice tests mirror the real test. Dream prof.
One of, if not the best professor I have had at BYU, took 105 and 106 with him. He wants nothing more than his students success. Don't mistake 106 for an easy class, but Greg makes learning difficult concepts achievable. Only professor I would take physics from at BYU.
If you are taking Physics 106 or 105 at BYU you need to choose Greg Francis. This man is one of the best professors at BYU. He loves his students and wants them to succeed. He pushed back a midterm so we could review and study. 106 is harder than 105 but if you put forth college effort you will do well with the nice grade scale. Greg is the best!!!
Greg is hands down the best physics professor at BYU. I look 105 from a different professor and it was a night and day difference from 105 without him to 106 with him. This class is hard, but doable. Just don't go into it thinking it's going to be easy and be prepared to spend lots of time in the TA lab.
Gregory Francis is the best thing to happen to Physics at BYU. He is a stellar teacher and if he senses the class is not understanding he will take time in lecture to go over it in a simple and understandable way. He made physics simple. You'll still need to study, but you'll have a teacher that is on your side.
I am fortunate to have taken PHSCS 105/106 from Greg Francis. He is a MASTER teacher of physics and is truly singular in his ability to make introductory physics both intuitive and fascinating. THIS is the quality of education you'd expect from BYU. Do yourself a favor and experience Greg's class firsthand. The course is structured for success.
Dr. Francis is seriously a gem. His love for teaching makes learning enjoyable even when concepts are hard. he works SO hard to simplify hard concepts. He genuinely cares for his students, even postponing a midterm so we could better prepare. His kindness, warmth, and dedication make him not just an amazing professor, but an incredible human being.
Took him for 105 and 106. Amazing professor, I am so glad I waited for Greg to be at BYU before taking physics. Tests are straight reflections of homework and practice tests. People who say otherwise just don't know how to study, tbh. cannot recommend Greg enough, best physics prof. for someone who HATES physics.
Greg is an absolutely amazing professor! He is funny, kind, and explains topics in a very coherent manner. With his past career, he has a lot of experience on the subjects, and as such knows how to work with studies and help in an understandable format. Take physics 106 from Greg! His grading is reasonable, and he is just an amazing person :)
Greg is a great professor in a lot of ways, but this semester was a letdown. The exams didn't feel well put together, and there weren't any real chances to bounce back if you struggled early on. People often mention that his grading scale is low, but that's mostly because the class itself is really tough. He's great with 105, with 106, not so much.
I really like Professor Francis! I thought he really cared about me and wanted me to succeed. Physics is a hard class, you have to work hard and study. I would highly recommend taking this class from Professor Francis, he is the best in the business.
This is one of the only classes I have taken where rewatching the lectures is legitimately more useful than watching a random youtube video. Dr Francis has worked on how to teach students, not necessarily what to teach them. Lectures are amazing and I felt like I understood physics for the first time. Do the practice tests, attend the lectures.
I'd never taken a phsycis class before Dr. Francis's classes, but he is very good at explaining tricky topics, especially with fun demonstrations. He's patient and cares about his students. The class content is hard, no denying it, so take it from a good teacher. Go to the office hours he offers! He helped me through finals when he didn't have to.
Dr. Francis is probably the best physics professor in the United States. If you're like me, physics is really really hard and daunting. Dr. Francis dumbed it down for me and made the material make sense. If you want to learn physics take this class.
Dr. Francis is truly a heavensend. He makes hard concepts understandable and makes class incredibly interactive and is good at capturing your focus on what he is teaching. Truly would recommend anyone to take him.
Greg is an amazing teacher who makes difficult topics understandable. I would pick him over anyone else to teach me physics. I have actually found a new love for physics problem solving because of him. Great experience. Can be hard, but that's the nature of the topic.
Dr. Francis is one of the best teachers I have had at BYU. He really cares and you can see he is trying his best. Physics is a hard class but with Dr. Francis it is doable. I never did great on nay of the test and still ended with a B+. Make sure you go to him and the TA's for help and do your homework and you will do just fine in the class.
Greg teaches physics in a unique way where instead of just memorizing equations you get a glimpse conceptually into how the world actually works (particularly with building models for optics and circuits). He's also a great/kind person!! He makes physics very doable. (I would also recommend rewatching his old lectures before each test)
Professor Francis is an amazing professor and person. Physics is not my strongest suit, but his passion for the class is so apparent that it rubbed off on me as well. He is an incredible teacher, and I am so blessed to have taken it with him. If you don't understand something during lecture, don't panic, reach out for help. It will all work out.
Professor Francis is amazing! He explains difficult concepts well and really simplifies things so that they're easy to understand. 106 was a little harder than 105, but I just think it's because the course covers harder concepts. They had to open a whole new section because so many people wanted to take it from Professor Francis.
Physics was always interesting to me, but after deciding on a different major, I accepted that I would never learn complex physics like relativity. Then Professor Francis explained things simply enough to ruin my plans of ignorance. I highly recommend Professor Francis
Dr. Francis is one of my favorite people ever. I am not much of a fan of physics, but Dr. Francis made this class enjoyable and taught very clearly. He also made the cutoff for an A 90% and an A- 85%. Still a class that requires some effort, but it was very manageable with Dr. Francis.
Dr. Francis is an amazing teacher and such a kind man. He is rooting for the success of students and gives so many opportunities to do really well in the course. Sometimes the tests are challenging but there are lots of other assignments that can keep your grade up, especially since an A is a 90 or above! Would recommend him!
Dr. Francis is great as a person. He is very caring and very accessible outside of office hours. However, the way he taught many concepts were very unconventional so don't expect youtube to help if needed. The exams were sort of similar to the practice exams depending on the concepts. I really struggled in this class.
Greg has his own equations that he uses that are "easier". This makes it difficult because only people who took physics from him can help you. Youtube can't help you nor can the TA's because they didn't take physics from Greg. Greg will teach you one way and the TA's and the internet will teach you another. This made the class extremely difficult.
Great professor! He's taught physics for decades, so he knows how to clearly and simply teach concepts and answer questions. He's always kind and willing to help if you're confused. He also posts all of his lectures on YouTube as well as the homework helps. Definitely a good option!
One of the kindest professors at BYU and genuine. His first time teaching 106 at BYU. His 105 class was really well put together, so I was surprised for 106 to be so much harder. It has harder for me than O Chem 2. I spent hours in the TA lab and worked very hard in that class only to perform poorly on every exam. Exams were very difficult.
Super good professor, super clear and everything made sense, knows how to teach, class set up really well. I feel like it was a lot of hard work but worth it.
I took this class from one of Greg's graduate teaching assistants, but the course was set up by him. The class is very well organized, and the few time Greg did teach he was spectacular. An A is a 90% and about half the class got it. I'd recommend working on the homework in the TA help lab to make sure you don't lose too much points. Great class!!
Francis is the best! You have iclickers just for attendance. Homework is not that bad just go to the TA lab to check your answers before you submit. Lectures are awesome. Tests are not bad, just do the practice exams before and you should be just fine. I would love to take another class from Francis if I could.
GREAT CLASS!!!!!! HE IS A GOAT IN TERMS OF PROFESSORS AT BYU
Actually the best guy ever!
Greg is a great professor. His class is very fair. You can learn everything just from attending the lectures. Go to the TA lab if you need more help
Professor Francis is awesome. Genuinely the best lectures I've had at BYU. He teaches the concepts in an easy way to understand. The homework is good preparation for the exams and I never felt overwhelmed with the workload. He lets you take the exams twice and keeps the highest score. He doesn't move on to new material until the exam is over. Epic!
if you have to take physics take it from francis. He is so kind, passionate, and does a really good job of explaining hard concepts. His lectures are SO fun to listen to and he usually does cool demos. 2 chances at each exam with your higher score being your final score. I recommend reading the textbook before class! seriously one of the best profs
greg francis is the michael jordan on the 96' Bulls of physics. the goat.
