Awesome teacher!! loved him.

He is a wonderful teacher. I loved his lessons and the way he teaches. It's like learning common people's history. However, tests are very hard. Every test is a 25 multiple-choice question test, but at the same time you have to write an essay of at least 2 pages! There are 3 extra-credit questions for each test. He is young and hot!

Cool guy. Friendly and understanding. Loves what he's teaching. I don't advise missing a single class because his tests are based 100% on his lecture notes. Take notes, you're ok..no notes = fail. You're NEVER going to use the book so dont buy it. AWESOME thing about this teacher is that he eats up BS essays like candy.

He is a great professor, although he doesn't just hand over the lecture notes.. you have to actually show up to class and pay attention. His class was extremely fun and he has the BEST stories. I would take him again if it were possible I strongly recommend Kosc if you don't understand history! His tests are really hard too just show up, youll be o

Difficult Class. Attendance is required. Primarily lectures, doesn't follow the book. He provides no study material. No use of the book all semester except 18 pages of a chapter we didn't cover in class, he provides PowerPoints. He's an excellent orator and makes the subject matter interesting to listen to. Prepare to study a lot!

Demanding Prof. but fair. Know his material well.

If you are serious about college then he is a very good prof. He has a lot of info so class attendance is very important but overall just pay attention go to class and youll pass:) not that bad!

I had him for a summer term. Excellent teacher who tried to get his students interested in history.

Gregory Kosc is an interesting and extremely energetic professor from Madsfield(some same Med Vegas), Ma. He really understands History, right down to how the Erie Canal helped NY and how the British Ambassador to US insulted Monroe's wife before the start of the War. I recomend him if. However, do not miss a single class.

Professor Kosc's test are hard but his classes are really good. He is an awesome speaker, teacher, and he really keeps you interested. I recommend taking his history classes.

Great leaturer, but test are hard to take. As long students pay attention to his leature, take notes and do his assignments passing the class should be fairly possible.

Dr Kosc. is eccentric but he is a good professor. He keeps his class interested and is pretty funny. Quizzes are pretty easy if you do your reading. Problem is there is no extra credit and the tests, tho he gives tips aren't very easy. Also, YOU CANNOT READ WIKIPEDIA FOR HIS TESTS. AUTOMATIC FAIL!!! If you're able to do the reading. He's alright.

Took him during Spring semester. One of the most lively classes I've had in awhile, but his tests are difficult! I'd recommend him to everyone who likes a challenge!

Overall, a challenging class, but a passable one. A good teacher, but mostly lecture based with little to no use of the textbook.

Very clear in giving directions and on explaining what is expected on assignments and tests. No need for the book; he’s a great lecturer and provides his power points. His exams are more in line with 3rd & 4th year than 1st & 2nd college level but, he helps you prepare for exams if you ask. He’s fair and cares about his students. I recommend him.

AWESOME professor, full of energy and funny. Tests are hard but allows voice recorders for lecture (highly recommended) study before all tests and quizzes and you'll pass. Willing to help anyone prepare for tests but you have to show up!!! Highly Recommended!!! Can't wait to take again :D

SE Campus: Amazing professor! very helpful and clear! always shows up to class with a positive attitude. You will not need the Text Book, all test come from PPTs and readings from hand-outs. You will pass if you show up and take notes.

Dr. Kosc is an great lecturer. MUST attend class, tests are pulled from lecture notes. He's definitely a Liberal Democrat and doesn't hide it. He has to tackle some tough subjects, and he does so very well. Essay questions on all exams but the final (I took class during summer I). 3 exams and 4 quizzes total. I learned a lot and loved his class.

Great teacher, will make you ready to tackle any Tough University classes. This class is for serious students who want to improve themselves. (Take Notes!)

Amazing teacher ! Hands down the best history teacher I have ever had. He's a little difficult, but the class is completely worth it. He's a passionate teacher and you can tell he loves what he does. Definitely recommend him to everyone. One thing: make sure to take notes !

Great teacher!! At first I thought I was going to hate it, I ended up loving his class! I recommend anyone taking his class. He honestly opened up my mind to a new perspective in history and politics.

Kosc was my first college prof and he inspired me to major in history. He's alert and kinetic and grabs your attention with wit and vigor. His powerpoints well supplemented the learning experience, and he is not afraid to reiterate to make his point clear. Most of all, he got to know me... bringing out my best and leaving me with a high standard.

Teaches well & lectures interesting if u stay concentrated, & to follow them, print out the available ppt. slides & add ur notes. 3 grades for 3 exams (50% m.c. & 50% essay, which he gives you 3 prompts in advance to prepare for, & u simply make outlines to study for them). He is not a tough grader IMO; can get hot-headed if u piss him off!

He is an awesome professor, his lectures are long but he tries to keep your attention with relating to real life, and his is pretty hilarious when doing so. He is usually always there for office hours, and is always willing to help, but it is in the syllabus read it before asking a question.

This class is pretty easy to take. The professor explains everything so you will not need a text book to study. His lecture is long, but everything he says is always going to be related to the real world. His test are pretty easy to take, but you will have to listen to his lectures again to take if not you will fail. Plus his quiz are hard.

Dr. Kosc was interesting and inspirational. I want to become a better global citizen because of what I learned in his history class. He is very liberal and I was totally okay with that while others may not be.

Amazing teacher. Just amazing. I learned so much about history; things I never knew before attending his class. Lectures are long so be prepared to take a copious amount of notes. You will not pass if you skip, he has loads of new info everyday. He will call You at random to answer questions so be sure you are understanding the lecture.

Gives great lectures, and is very passionate about what he's talking about. Gives opportunity for extra credit. Pretty tough grader, wants you to think outside of the box.

Fantastic lectures! Great professor! He will open your eyes about the world, past and present. Tests are part essay. Pay attention and take notes and you'll do fine. There are films and additional reading material. Some were optional and some were not, but each added value to the course. They were all interesting. I highly recommend Dr. Kosc.

Don't buy history book, but you will read a book. Very passionate, calls on to students to answer questions so pay attention! Not many tests or quizzes, so if you do bad on one, it can really affect your overall grade. Gives extra credit, but it requires doing a book review. Overall, good class. Not too hard if you pay attention. Take good notes!!

This dude is a great professor. Great lectures and has a lot to say on what you're learning. Take really good notes for the tests.

He a great professor at first he seem a bit hard and the class seem terrible but his attitude and made this class my favorite class of all time I would take him again just to take but I gotta finish I love this professor he is so sweet and helpful get to know him if your curious with the economy he will definitely be the guy to chat with he amazin

Great Professor to actually learn from. If you need help just go to him no matter what. He's understanding if you have other stuff going on and he's always willing to help. I would suggest a 3 subject notebook to take notes and SLEEP. If you don't take good notes you will not make good grades on the test. Overall 2-3 test and quizzes. 1 Essay.

Love this guy. If you take him, the lectures will stick to you. He makes learning an experience. More professors like him are needed. I'm so glad I took him.

Key to passing his test is by doing the review and ALL OF THE EXTRA CREDIT. Awesome teachers who will make non history majors love history. It's not an easy A but also not a hard class, just pay attention and take notes. Great teaching style. Outgoing & easy to approach. NOT the type to judge you if you get low grades but encourage you to do better

I took Prof Kosc for both 1301 and 1302, and I really enjoyed his class. His exams are easy if you study his study guide that he provides, and his quizzes are also easy if you read the assignments. I recommend printing out all the power points because most of the exam is from his lectures, but on the plus side you don't have to buy a text book.

He is cool but a bit hard and expresses his views.

Professor Kosc is unparalleled with his detailed knowledge and eidetic memory. If you choose this professor, then prepare for extreme note-taking and tons of reading. He has invested interest in allotting his passion for history to the class, and cares for each individual student. Work hard, read regularly, study well.

Great professor who knows so much about what he's teaching. Loves to have class discussion on the topics (or off) and is always down to discuss current events. Go to class to take notes which will be extremely helpful on tests. Take him to actually learn (especially what you didn't in high school).

Watch everything he tells you to watch. Tae notes on what he says and what he tells you to watch. He'll let you use notes on quizzes. Don't skip. In general, all the history professors here in TCC Southeast are solid. Pay close attention to lectures and read the other readings on blackboard. There are videos too. Lectures are funny. Extra Credit.

Lectures are interesting and he speaks with enthusiasm. There is outside reading but it is well worth the read.

Very knowledgeable and passionate about his area of study. If you pay attention to the lectures and actually read his materials that he gives you, you will pass. We need more instructors like him.

I LOVE THIS CLASs. His lectures are captivating. I'm so much more knowledgeable of U.S. History. Advise: take very good notes, every details, also listen very careful at what he's saying they're all important. Best to not use your phone in class, he will call you out in a very embarrassing way. You will love this class.

I always hated history until I took his class. His lectures kept me engaged and you can tell he is really passionate about what he teaches. He made history interesting for once. You don't want to miss class because his test come straight from the lecture. He is very clear about what he expects and if you do what he says, you should make an A

Professor Kosc is excellent. He takes a dry subject like history and makes it interesting and draws you into the lecture. He makes you think about what's happened in history and apply that to the world today. He does speak a little quick so some points can be hard to catch, otherwise I highly recommend, also enjoy doesn't kill you with powerpoints.

AMAZING class! Truly made history very enjoyable and interesting. One of the best classes I have taken period. Take lots of notes because he talks fast. Most challenging part was reading Attica book even though it was very intriguing and taking notes on it. Take him plain and simple, I wish everybody had the learning experience I had!

I LOVE KOSC, but then again, I love History. finishing up the semester of 1301 with an A. THERE'S NO WAY YOU'LL PASS IF 1. YOU DONT READ THE MATERIALS HE UPLOADS. 2. DONT SHOW UP TO CLASS, HE'LL MAKE YOU PAY. 3. IF YOU DON'T PARTICIPATE IN CLASS DISCUSSION ..... 4. READ AT LEAST A CHAPTER AHEAD, HE EXPECTS YOU TO GO ABOVE AND BEYOND. HE'S GREAT

Dr. Kosc is very passionate about history and has very intriguing lectures. He's honestly a very amazing professor; however, there is a lot of material to cover, so he does talk a little fast, so prepare to record his lectures. He also has a few extra credit opportunities, but not many actual assignments/grades. Overall, he's truly a jem! :)

Kosc Gregory is a good professor, and I would prefer anybody to take his class. Main key to passing his classes very easy. You need to take very good notes, you need to create a study group, you need to try to ask for extra credit from him every time as much as you can, you need to study as much as possible, and do the assignment that he gives you.

You can tell when someone actually cares about their job like he does. Probably the best history teacher Ive ever had. You have one book report thats really easy, like 2 quizzes and 3 tests that are easy as well if you study a bit and pay attention during lectures. Definitely recommend this guy.

This teacher is VERY passionate about his class. I learned more from this teacher then my whole history high school career. He has a quiz every week. 2 in class quizzes, 2 "midterm" 1 final and an essay over a book. While this sounds like a lot and it is. It is totally doable.

You will remember this man until the day you die. I have never encountered a professor with as much passion, enthusiasm, knowledge, or respect as Dr. Kosc. He makes you enjoy learning about history and corrects its ignorance. I took him twice for two different courses. He respects each student, gives extra credit, and grades leniently.

Dr. Kosc is by far the best Professor I've ever had. He is very inspiring, very committed to what he teaches, caring, and approachable. If you want to learn about history and find a great mentor this is the professor.

My favorite professor at this campus. PLEASE TAKE HIS CLASS. I have never met a professor who is so enthusiastic and passionate about his class. His number one goal isnt just to help you get a good grade, but ACTUALLY help you learn history. His class isnt easy, but if put in the effort, an A wont be hard. Especially since his extra credit.

Honestly changed my way of thinking. I keep all his lectures in a folder at home. His class will not only help you grow intellectually but as a person. If I could take this class all over again I would I love him. No textbook is needed he gives you readings. His passion is incredible. Prof Kosc is the reason I fell in love with history

Professor Kosc is extremely passionate about history. His goal is to teach you history well enough to be applicable in day to day life. He does not care about your grade, but your understanding of course content. Allows you to record lectures/share recordings as missing lecture can be detrimental to your grade. Offers plenty extra credit.

Professor Kosc is the best professor I've ever had. History is not my favorite subject at all but he made it so interesting and made you want to learn. If you pay attention in class and take good notes you will do well on the exams. He is very enthusiastic and educated about history. I took both of his history classes.

Mr. Kosc definitely makes you work for that A. He is so well educated on history and economics it's crazy and also a little overwhelming. If you take his class you will learn so so much! We had 3 quizzes, 3 mid terms, and one essay. You NEED to put effort into learning to pass them. His class is definitely worth the tuition and you can do it!

I used to not like history but the way he teaches is amazing. I actually enjoy history now. He only gives 3 tests and 3 quizzes so study hard for them or you wont pass. Theres a research paper as well that you cant leave to do last minute. I recommend you record his lectures.

Dr. Kosc is one of the most passionate professors I have had. He makes the lectures/PowerPoint slides so that you wont pass unless you are attending lecture. Recording devices are allowed. There are 3 tests, 3 reading quizzes (notes allowed,) and an essay project. Extra credit and study guides for all tests. He actually cares about his students.

I love the way he lecture because he tries to engage us into his lectures. He's lectures are heavy so be prepare to take notes and record too so you can review back on it. Only one research paper and one book quiz that you have to read.

Anyone and everyone should take a class taught by Prof Kosc in their lifetime. He does not care about your grade but cares more of your comprehension of history. He is an economist, researcher and humanist. Our in class ended up finishing on line and he provided recorded lectures and HUMANIST. Recording in class allowed. TRULY AMAZING EXPERIENCE!
