Loved the teacher and the class... it is not easy by any means, but if you're not a serious student you shouldn't be in there in the first place. Read the chapters ahead of time and study for quizzes because it makes it easier to keep up with his lecturing. If you have questions, just ask... he's always willing to help!

He's spoiled me for the next professor! The class is so much fun that you'll be sad if you have to miss (which I don't recommend because you'll get behind). He makes the material bearable, even interesting, and you'll be hard pressed to find another like him. Read ahead, pay attention to what he emphasizes, study and you'll do fine. He's the best!

The class is not easy but he makes it fun. Very sorry he is not teaching A&P 2 next semester. Study and come to class and you will be fine.

Wow! What a great professor for an intensive class. He is wonderfully helpful and very informative. Attendance is not mandatory but if you miss class it is VERY easy to fall behind. A very fun class to go to. Makes getting up for an 8:00am class easy. His extra labs are also wonderful and great for face time. Would totally recommend.

I really can't say enough great things about Dr. Schrader. He is always willing to spend extra time with you and help you out. A VERY difficult class but well worth it. No matter who your prof is, this is a VERY TOUGH CLASS. Read ahead! Come to every class and try to make his extra labs. They are worth it! Loved him, loved him, loved him.

Go with Dr. Schrader! It's a tough class but he is very fair and it's worth it. I always feel like I'm learning a lot from him. Don't expect to be spoonfed but you totally get out of this what you put in. He is always willing to spend extra time with students and you can tell he loves teaching.

For an extremely difficult class, Dr Schrader made it enjoyable to learn. He uses powerpoint and many humerous anectdotes along with his regular lectures. A great guy to learn from that will go out of his way to help if you are struggling.

I grew to love him and would take him again. Know his note packets like the back of your hand and you'll do good on the tests. Great Guy! Very funny and entertaining. His tests can be a little trickey with the multiple choice. =)

Even though this was my most difficult course that I have ever taken, it was my favorite course. Dr. Schrader has a friendly personality and makes the class entertaining.

Great professor. Make sure you go to class and study his lecture slides! Don't waste your time studying his study guides. He rarely mentions them, just study the powerpoint slides. Willing to help if you ask for it. Very funny and just overall happy. Would definitely take him again. Go to class and pay attention and you'll be fine.

I really can't say enough good things about this teacher. This was the hardest class I've taken, but his personality during lectures kept it from getting overwhelming. The slides he makes are vial as that's how he gets makes the tests but the books are good for supplementation.

Super fun class. It is alot of work and if you are used to power points, outlines and reviews this class is not for you. Prof, Scharader always want you to take your own notes and only he only post the power points close to the exams.

One of the best teachers Ive had. Class is a bit challenging, but he made it fun. Make sure you actually study before hand, or test will be hard. Gave extra credit oppurtunities, and answered plenty of questions.

One of the best professors I've had at AACC. The way he teaches makes you want to learn the material. You'll find yourself talking about bodily functions to everyone you know. Had him for both A&P I and II. Second half is definitely a lot more interesting. Very helpful, but tends to be late on email responses.

Hands down one of the best teachers I've ever had! I would highly recommend taking him! His tests are challenging but he gives all the information you need to be successful. His lectures are so helpful and he is really easy to talk to! He made this class so much fun, his sense of humor is hilarious! I actually miss going to his class!

Dr. S was awsome!!! He was very helpful. His tests are very hard, and it's not easy to get a good grade. There is not many extra credit opportunities. I don't think I have ever had a more inteligent teacher, I for real want him to be my doctor. In the end I got a C in the class, but I've never been happier, nor did I ever fall asleep in class.

I took him a while ago but I haven't written a review until now. This is by far one of the best teachers I've had as of yet. He is hilarious and you can tell he sincerely enjoys teaching. The tests are challenging but the way he teaches makes the information easier to understand. And he must give great recommendations because I got into UMSON!

Very interactive professor, good guy, makes sense of everything and will do everything he can to explain what you dont get. Not much extra credit, tests make up the grade, and they are not very easy. Look over his slides, read the book and use that DVD! It's helpful.

No exaggeration- he is the best professor. He perfects his teaching technique so students are able to grasp high levels of learning. Standards are high. You will gain a lot- if you put in the time and effort, an A is possible. More than half of our class dropped because it was too difficult, but those that remained mostly got high B's and A's.

Anyone who gives this professor a bad review didn't put forth the effort to succeed. The material is not spoon fed to you, rather you learn to study & teach yourself. HIs lectures drive the material home. He's a fun guy to take class with and I am very grateful for his consistent push for me to be a better and more independent student.

One of the best teachers I've ever had! If you aren't up for a challenge this class isn't for you but I can say I've never learned so much in a class before his. He has so much knowledge and he has a great sense of humor so we were always laughing when we were learning. You must read his powerpoints ahead and put in many hours to study to survive!

His class was extremely hard. He wants to teach people on the PA level instead of the college level it is designed. I would not take him again ever!!! He does not give you his power points until a few days before the test but all his questions come from there; too late to study them by then.

This was the best class i have ever taken. I wasn't really into science that much until I took his class. I would definitely take his class again. This is the hardest class i've taken and i absolutely loved it. After taking this class i have decided that i want to teach A&P at a university too. You will have to study about 40 hours a week though

Gives out video lectures and powerpoint notes that you MUST watchread before class. He is not a typical lecturer; you must prepare for class and than he will help you with the info you are not understanding. 8 tests + final and everything else is extra credit. If you want an A, you will not have much of a life outside of school. Cares for students

Dr. Schrader is an amazing professor. Sadly I made the mistake at taking too many demanding classes in one semester and didn't end up doing well. But him as a teacher, totally fantastic. Not going to lie, you need to be able to prioritize and put the effort into it and expect there to be challenges. The class itself is a wealth of knowledge.

He is really funny. Read everything from lab manual and his PowerPoint. He is not hard. Just try to understand. He has lectures which gives you hope that it will be in the exam. Yes it will but a smidge of it. Don't count on his lectures because he will include other things that he won't cover but expect you to know. Definitely study. Pass!!!

Dr. Schrader loves both the subject and his students, which really comes across in his teaching. He will by no means hand you the material that will be on the test, but he will encourage and cultivate your understanding while helping you build good study skills so that you can master the subject rather than just memorize facts.

Schrader is amazing. This was the most intense college course I've ever taken (and I have a 4 year degree from a well-known university), but it's also the course I've gotten the most out of. You have to read and you have to prepare for class (by watching his videos) to get the full benefit of his teaching style. Great class.

Very difficult class, but he teaches it well. Personal conflicts infringed upon my study time which led to the grade I received. I Have yet to encounter another professor who cares so much about his students ACTUALLY LEARNING AND UNDERSTANDING the things he teaches rather than just their ability to regurgitate the information back onto a test.

Don't have to show to every class, but if you do, he makes you participate (answer questions, group work). Study around 2 hours a night. Begin with watching the lectures; they make life easier. Overall, a caring teacher who knows his stuff.

This is the best course I have ever taken and also the hardest one. You'll love Dr. Schrader. He uses a flipped classroom model. You dig, then he guides you into a deeper understanding. Youll learn in his class and he cares that you learn. Hes a master studier and will teach you how to master content even if youre on a time crunch. Outrageously funny, extremely knowledgeable, and the most caring professor Ive ever had. Hes the best and thats it.

One of my favorite professors, easily. Took this class prior and was so uninterested that I didn't do well and I was expecting the same outcome, but I was wrong. He made the class fun and I learned a lot from it. Very helpful and he's willing to help you learn. Recitation was very helpful. You do need to study and attend class to pass.

Dr. Schrader is one of the best professors I've had. The class is hard, but he wants his students to understand the material. His lectures were very helpful, and his powerpoints were thorough. If you put in the work, and ask questions during lectures, he will help you to succeed.

Dr. Schrader is sincere & caring. A lot of people like the extra effort he puts in to help students learn good study habits. Though I appreciate that, I found it added complicating elements to an already heavy workload that did not quite map onto the (sadly) utilitarian college context. I opted to switch to a professor who is more down to business.

This class is very difficult but Dr. Schrader tried to make it as interesting as possible. The class very lecture heavy and the study guides given to us were extremely broad, and the exams made by him were very tough, much harder than other professors. He is very nice though and really tries hard to make his students enjoy the class and understand.

A lot of challenging material to cover. Not an easy A. Informative, funny, and engaging lectures. If the class showed confusion, he paused and elaborated in ways that were easier to digest. He cares about his students & puts them first. Exams were many, lengthy, but not unnecessary. A professor I aspire all of my future professors to be. 5/5!

Definitely on my list of best professors. There is a LOT of information in this course and a lot of exams, but he provides so many resources for studying. He makes sure that the class time is used wisely and truly cares about students' education and their overall well-being.

I took A&P1 with Schrader last semester and went out of my way to make sure he was my professor for A&P2. He tailors his class to those entering the medical field, so he uses many clinical applications. His class is lecture and test-heavy. Truly the best professor I've had. He's prepared me for my future medical field, no doubt.

Dr. Schrader was one of the best professors I've had. It was not an easy class at all, but he made it very engaging and will explain things to you in different ways if you do not understand it. He tailors his teaching by letting the students be the teacher and it is such a helpful method! I would 100% recommend him to future students.
