Very good profesor likes to joke around class is very laid back and is willing to help his student. I would not recomend taking any other professor for calculus.

By far best math teacher I've ever had. Very laid back and likes to have fun. Explains everything very well and only puts problems on the test which were gone over in class. Definetly take him if you get the chance.

Easy class as long as you attend.. but you will want to because he makes the class laid back and he relates problems to real life situations so that you don't have to ask yourself,"when am i ever going to use this" And he is extremely nice and helpful

Great professor. Cool ass guy, very laid back, and very helpful. However, if you're looking to breeze through the class, it won't happen. You have to be up to speed on what's going on. His tests make you think, but I think that's a good thing. If you can take him whenever possible.

I hate math, but he almost makes me love it. He is so fun and teaches in a way that makes it so easy to understand. I wish all of my old high school teachers had to take a class with him so they could see how math should be taught.

Greatest teacher ever! I'm terrible at math and I am got an A in his class. He teaches so well and will go over a problem until the whole class understands. The best part he never makes you stay the whole class time! Take him for any math class. Great guy!

BEST Math teacher EVER! Super easy, funny, helpful, and he lets you out of class early every single day! The quizzes are super short and simple, and the exams are really easy also! I recommend him to anyone!

Not a fan of math, but Wisloski made it easy to understand. Quizzes every Friday, which sucks cause you have to go to class. Lets out class early though most days!

Greg is the F'in man!!! His quizes are every friday but they are mad easy. He is a great teacher and explains things well. He is crazy too, he'll jump into a story in the middle of class and he owns like 200 pairs of shoes. Back to the class, he ALWAYS lets it out early and on fridays we just take the quiz and leave (10 min. tops) High Recomended

You will do well if you go to class. Always let the class out early. Take him!!

although i dropped the class because i hate math, i think he's a good professor. homework is given, but never collected. every friday a 20 point quiz. would recommend.

Awesome teacher. Answers all your questions. Makes you want to learn. Not going to overload you with work. I failed every Math class I took until I got to this guy and I am actually going to class and not hating it.

This class was awesome. Yes you learn math but its easy math. This guy is basically a rich professor who has to much money and doesnt know what to do with it. For god sakes the man owns 300 pairs of shoes! The class was fun and easy if you pay attention in class. Does not take attendance. Test are ok. Quizzes every friday but there easy.

awesome prof.! made math as easy as possible, hw wasn't madatory, tests and finals were very easy. attendance isn't mandatory but if you do go, it makes everything easier to deal with. lets you out early all the time. cool guy.

i hate math but he made it sort of interesting i guess. It wasn't hard at all. However, if i wouldnt have already known the info i prob would have sucked it up pretty bad. Greg is better than the other math teachers that i know of and he's fair. Go for it

this guy is the best math prof at iup... quiz every friday, test every couple weeks..uses a whole class to review for exams..gives some extra cred here and there.. real chill..and has NICE shoes! i wish i had him now :(

awesome prof, he goes a little fast sometimes but is always willing to slow down and go over things. Theres quizzes every friday that are easy as long as you go to class you will more than likely get 100% on the quizzes, tests every once in awhile. just make sure ur phone is off during class!! Great professor. Really laid back, could probably pass for a student. You have a quiz every Friday but they are easy as long as you look over the notes. Exams aren't really hard either. No attendance policy. I would recommend him.

Greg is an awesome professor! I am really bad at math, but he made it easy. He writes out EVERYTHING on the board- definitions to terms, etc. A great professor for anyone who doesn't like math. He will tell you everything that's on exams. 100% AWESOME

Greg is a laid back/cool teacher that is really funny and makes going to class worth it. If you have to take any math course and he is teaching it take him. He gives three exams and weekly quizes and if you have an "A" before the final you dont have to take it.

I detest math and I'm no good at it, but Greg was easily the best math teacher I have EVER had. He went over every topic with plenty of examples, and he reviewed before the tests. Very fair, very clear in his explanations, very helpful. I would definitely take another class from him.

Easy class, just be in class during all quizzes/exams. Someone in our class made a comment about him cancelling one class, therefore he didn't allow us to make up any exams or quizzes. I hate math, but he made everything easy and understandable: I'd reccomend him.

Dr. Wisloski was a great professor! He is very fair with grading and test difficulty. He is younger and can relate to students. I actually enjoyed going to his class. This was my second time taking this course, and I went from an F the first time with a bad professor to an A with him, plus I learned a lot. I would definitely take his class again.

I had him for math 101 he was hands down the best professor I had at IUP. I hated math but he explained everything hes funny and realistic. Quizzes are helpful for exams and he doesn't take attendance. He's funny! Take him!!

Calculus was awesome. Learned a ton. Everything was clear and expectations were given right up front. Lots of fun, very realistic and can relate to students. Take him.

Dr. Wisloski provided me with a great Introduction to Linear Algebra. He was extremely motivating, and he gave me my first taste of more theoretical math. A big point of this class: DEFINITIONS. Make SURE you know them, especially if you see Advanced Linear Algebra in your future. Knowing and understanding every definition is the key to an A.

If you have the chance to take Dr. Wisloski, do it! I am terrible at math but passed with an A. He gives quizzes just about every Friday, but they're simple and he prepares you for them in advance. The exams aren't too difficult either, as he reviews the class period before and is extremely helpful. He is hysterical. Definitely recommend him!

If you have the chance to take his class, do it. He's funny and chill but he also explains the content well and makes it easy to understand. An online homework every week and a quiz every Friday but if you do the homework, you'll do well on the quiz.

He moves quickly, but you can affirm the info by doing the homework that night before the concept quiz. If you do your homework and can get it down like a machine you will find the test easy. Though he moves fast, he will stop for HW questions or about the new material. Try to do HW without the fancy calculator functions first, makes tests easier.

Dr. Wisloski was a great professor for calculus. There's lots of HW to do, but he says that the only way to get good is to practice. Definitely taking him for calc 2.

Best math professor ever!

Despite Failing I feel I learned a lot about calculus. His Teaching style really brakes you down, but only to build you back up. My Biggest issue was That I I did not focus on the homework as much as i should, but that's me not him. My Advise is to do as much as he let's you do early so you have room to make mistakes and learn from them.

AWESOME professor. Dr. Wisloski is very straightforward and easy to listen to. He gives quizzes almost every Friday, but they're only about 5 questions and not tricky at all. You won't need the book but you definitely need the access code for Pearson mymath lab. Sometimes the homework has a lot of questions but you usually have like a week to do it

Best professor I've ever had. His style forces you to sink or swim. If you're a good worker, he'll give you all the help you need/want. Doesn't suffer fools and non-workers. Nice curve at the end of the class. Wears cool shoes, too. Only person I've seen around here that wears Yeezys. You won't regret taking his class. Calc 3 should be great!

I never liked math until I had Dr. Wisloski in class. He made learning the material easy and enjoyable. Also, we never were in class the entire time as he always let us out anywhere between ten and fifteen minutes early. All around he was a great professor and would take him again in a heart beat if given the opportunity.

Dr. Wisloski is absolutely amazing. His tests are fairly easy if you take the time and study. You have to do work online but you can complete it as many times as you want, honestly easy 100%. Honestly, take him if you can. He is a really nice guy and makes the lectures fun and easy to understand. He is accessible outside of class.

Super funny guy. Easiest class I've ever taken. I hate math but this was so easy. All the homework was online and you got unlimited tries. The tests were easy. He was real lenient because he wants us all to do well and pass. He doesn't want to fail anyone. Respect him and he will respect you.

Dr. Wisloski is soooo nice. He doesn't care if you show up to class or not. As long as you do the homework (that's online), he doesn't care. He just wants you to pass. He's very easy to talk to and can help you with any questions you have.

He was a great professor and well respected. You do not use a textbook but you do use Pearson and need an access code. The homework is done on there and it was very easy. Also if you needed help with test preparation you can review H.W. questions on the website. He gives test after every chapter and every once a while a quiz on what we learned.

Very nice and funny guy. Make sure you go to class because you will miss notes since he doesn't do powerpoint, he just writes everything on the white board. You get unlimited attempts on the homework which is really helpful for the exams. He lets you use a piece of paper with formulas on exams as well. I definitely recommend him.

Never interacted with the guy or even heard his voice so I cannot speak to his character. I course was online through Pearson and was completed at your own pace. It could get stressful at times but is definitely doable. He also curves the grades which really helps.

Dr. Wisloski is a brilliant person, and is able to compare mathematical examples to real-life scenarios. He is very willing to help students improve, and cares heavily about his students' grades. He is not professional, and reminds me somewhat of a student. Attendance isn't mandatory, but missing class results in missing loads of information.

This is the best math professor I've had. He is incredibly informal and direct in his teaching style which pairs well with learning math. Every concept is conveyed SO simply. It's also funny how blunt he is sometimes when dealing with particularly difficult subjects. I definitely hope to take another class with him at some point.

He was the best professor I've ever had, though the material was hard for me. He's informal but it works. Literally asked us if we wanted a final and when we said no he didn't give us one, just reopened all of the homework for the last 2 weeks of the semester so we could redo any we missed for more points. Dr. Wisloski's online MATH 217 gives you no real connection with Dr. Wisloski (although I have had him in person - would recommend). The class is all Pearson-guided, and it is a 'video, quiz, video, quiz, exam' style. Make sure you're on top of deadlines. The quizzes can be tricky.

Dr. W is awesome! He makes statistics concepts super easy to understand and he is super chill! It is almost impossible to fail his class as long as you put in the effort. He is a great professor, highly recommend!

Lots of homework worth 25%. Three 25% tests. Not too bad if you study outside of class, but you must study outside of class and do the homework. He expects you to be good at trig before taking.
