Easy teacher. She repeats a lot of the material over and over. Course is graded on 2 exams, which are not that hard, and a 10-pg. research paper. Ok class, but may get boring towards the end.

First class I ever took at Northridge dsuring the evening,that was in 2002! Still today I use her reader. I loved that class.

She is the ONLY teacher I've EVER had who does NOT try to trick students on tests! Her tests are based 100% on material covered. She gives study guides for each test and curves grades. I LOVE HER SO MUCH I TOOK 2 CLASSES WITH HER! SHE'S EASY GOING, VERY HELPFUL AND EXTREMELY UNDERSTADING! SHE ROCKS!

One of the easiest upper division classes i've taken. Teacher is real nice, you get out early all the time, tests are easy especially because she gives YOU an outline of the test. Very nice teacher overall.

VERY easy professor. She is straighforward; exams are based solely on the material in class. I don't think she ever kept us until the time the class was supposed to be over. We were always dismissed early.

if you want an easy a, b, or c take her she is easy. don't even have to go to class. she is late pretty frequently. i took her way back in 2001 when i first came to csun. i received a b in the course. if i received a b you can definitely receive an a.

This class is sort of boring, but really easy. She's nice, she gives study guides which are really helpful and it's really easy there's only 2 test and a research paper but it's not hard.

She's got such a nice personality that you can easily fall in love with her! There's one multiple choice exam and one 7-10 pages research paper and one easy multiple choice final. I rarely attended the class and I got an A ;)

Really easy going professor and makes the subject matter more interesting. Tests are not hard, just study and you should get an A.

I love all of the classes she taught. She is a great professor and really cares about her students. I learned a lot in all her hsci. classes. Do the work and you'll get an "A"!! Her classes are good to take as electives if you are HSCi major.

If anyone has anything bad to say about Professor Gretta, you are one stupid person. I probably annoyed the heck out of her with all my questions after classes and before exams, even during exams! Yet, she was always more than glad to help with a smile on her face. Exudes great teaching skills and has the abilility to make the class fun!!!!!

She is a great teacher and loves her students. She will help you in any way possible. Just show up and then do your paper. Its not difficutl and you will love her energy.

EASY A!!!! 1 midterm and 1 final only, great teacher. takes attendance sometimes but you don't need to show up because all the material is either in the book or the course reader she makes for the class. 1 research paper, but nothing too hard. she reviews before each test. shes so cool and nice, VERY in tune with her students!

This is an easy class and she is pretty cool BUT her class was very boring, she does not have high energy at least not in hsci 337. More than half the class was always missing, so that says alot.I always attended but you don't have to, and can still get an A.Let's class out early too.

I took Gretta for both 440 and 345. Both classes have 2 exams which are easy,a paper, and a powerpoint presentation with a partner or group. You dont have to go to class to pass with an A but she is awesome so go anyway. The book is only needed for the powerpoint presentation (just borrow it from a groupmate) in 345 and not needed in 440.

Very helpful. Test comes from student presentations. get started early on your papers and get them out of the way so you can have more time for finals.

AWESOME TEACHER!! Attendance not mandatory but you have opportunity for Extra Credit when you do. Goes over exactly whats on final exam. Very helpful, & kind. Only 1 group project based on presenting a chp of the textbook to class (class will grade you) & a final. You'll either get an A or not. Show up, bring in articles, and take notes for final

She is straightforward. Group project [worth a lot]. A paper [8 pages]. One exam [she goes over the exact questions that will be on the exam]. She's quirky & seems to be very strict but she's not. Make sure to attend EVERY class [EXAM and EXTRA CREDIT is based on this]. She doesn't use the book [except group project]. TAKE HER IF YOU CAN. OMG.

This class is interesting and helpful. I didn't get the book and had not problems getting by. Professor Gretta doesn't take attendance but recognizes those who miss, so don't miss too much. Gives extra credit opportunities. There will be group assignments, and two papers that are not hard at all. Take her she's awesome. I recommend !!

Great class. I really enjoyed taking it. She's a bit easy, but still worth taking. She has a lot of heart, and definitely knows what she is talking about. Take her even if you are not a health related major. She can related what you are learning to any major. You'll never be bored. There's a group project, a midterm paper, a final & a final paper.

She's cool, easy grade but not the greatest instructor, felt class was too easy.

A very nice teacher. She is down to earth and super chill. She cares for her students. Highly recommend. She is easy. Book is not required. I would defiantly take her again.

This professor is very easy going and a sweetheart. only have 1 test in the class which she provides the study guide before hand. Book is not mandatory at all. attendance is not mandatory but she is aware who comes to class or not. just do the assignments assigned and you will pass with A. gives extra credit. definitely will take again.

Prof Gretta is awesome. Her class is really easy. There's only one exam, two papers (final paper is your FINAL), and a presentation! She gives extra credit as well. You don't need to show up for class.

Intertwines text and lecture of given course with the reality in the field. Concepts that may be new are very clearly expressed (easy to understand).

Professor Greta is great she relates to her students and is always in a great mood. Assignments are easy and exam is a piece of cake! Her class is very interactive and you get to share news articles with other students which is interesting. New material every day. No final only a very long paper but relatively simple to do. Would take again :)

I had her for the Friday once a week class 2pm-4:45pm, and I missed class only twice. I completed all the assignments which were a total of 1 paper 1 group presentation and 1 group lesson plan as well as the final. she gives many resources as long as you make an effort you will get an A. Through moodle her class looks overwhelming but it is not.

I really recommend you to take this professor if you have the chance to she was very straight forward in what needed to be done grades depend on a group presentation and 2 papers and the final so very straight forward. You wont really need the book

Dr. Madjzoob is amazing. She's the sweetest professor and truly wants all her students to pass. She's the best. She calls her students her children. Only 2 papers, one final, and one presentation. She gives you the answers to the exam. TAKE HER IF YOU CAN; you will not regret it.

Great teacher many assignments but all have a guide and she will take you through them all you will learn writings research papers and to reference in a smooth way she will always answer any questions. I was lucky to pick the class.

Professor Gretta is super friendly and cares about her students. She will be there for you and help you through the process of what is expected from her assignments. Really understanding and the assignments really weren't too difficult. Would really recommend her for any upper elective course!

Good professor but to me this class was so easy for a 300s course I say take this class.

Honestly, she is the nicest professor I have had, so the people giving bad reviews must have something against women professors. She really tries to help you on your assignments, and projects . She lets students give grade and try to teach them to be fair and respectful. Take her class You can Get an A .

Easiest A ever. An interview paper, lesson plan + group presentation, and final. She was very nice & understanding. Lectures were pretty boring though, felt like I didn't really learn anything new. Don't buy the book, you don't need it.

Easiest A i have ever gotten, canvas is extremely unorganized, easy grader, minimal participation to pass the class, not the greatest when it comes to technology & pushover. The only time I saw the whole class full what on the first day of class & on the day of the test, which was more like a group test.

She is a nice professor and it is a super easy class. There are only 2 papers due the entire semester, 1 group project and 1 "test". The only time I saw the classroom filled was the first day and "test" day.

Really easy class and Gretta is a very caring person, but class through zoom with her can be a bit of a mess. She's not very tech-savvy so it took a while to get started for class and most class sessions after the first few weeks were just us listening to other students' presentations. She doesn't lecture much, but we barely have any assignments.

Professor Gretta was a great professor to have. She went above and beyond to make sure her students were understand off all the assignments and was always available to answer questions.

Ok so zoom was a mess and I didnt really learn anything very unorganized but on the bright side its a super easy class. We did a group presentation (easy PowerPoint), an easy short paper on a current health issue, a final research paper, also very easy stuff to research. You dont learn much but its so easy and she extends deadlines. Take Her.

Professor Madjzoob is literally one of the best professors I've had at CSUN. She is so understanding of her students' situations and is the sweetest professor! There's only a group project and a couple essays, but she was not difficult at all! She's an easy grader and very lenient! Please take her if you have the chance!

Gretta was the nicest, easiest Prof I've ever taken. There were only two papers, an easy final, a presentation, and a news article discussion post. All of the topics you choose are entirely up to you. She's super sweet and understanding and knows a lot about the subject!

She's the best!! Those who complain about "not learning anything", either did not attend the lectures or did not care enough to read the textbook. The class itself is only graded by a few things such as a final paper, group presentation, a discussion, and so on. Take her for HSCI345, you won't regret it.

Gretta was one of my favorite professors this semester. She engages with students and gives us a lot of great education. You will have one paper, news article, powerpoint project and a final throughout the semester. Her class is always fun and you will feel comfortable talking to her. She is very understandable. Everyone should take her!

By far one of the easiest classes I've taken at CSUN, there was only about 5 assignments, one in which we worked on the whole semester(group project). Overall the class was easy, only went to about two classes,and final exam was online. TAKE THIS CLASS

The easiest class I have ever taken. 2 writing assignments ( one of them is the final) very easy, 50 question exam, 1 group project ( all super super easy) . No homework, no quizzes, open note exam which is extremely easy. She is understanding and caring and accommodates her students needs. 100% recommend taking her. You don't need the book

She's very understanding and wants the best for you. We had like 4 assignments that make or break your grade, but luckily she's an easy grader. We learn from her but most of it is from the group projects presented in class. You just need the textbook for the group project. 8-10 page apa paper about public health law and mult choice exam at end

She cares so much about every student, a lot of the topics in class are common sense but it's still super interesting. If you can take her class for 345 do it; she's the best!

Professor Madjzoob is such a caring prof. Her class is simple and straightforward. There are a couple of longer projects at the end of the course but the criteria is very clear. She knows a lot about the subject and cares about her students. I would recommend this class time and time again. Great prof!

Professor Madjzoob is great! She's very understanding(like very very) and always tries to accommodate to her students needs. The final paper in this class may seem a little challenging, but as long as you start early you will be fine(don't wait till the last day!) She's also really good with her grading.

i loved prof madjzoob's class! she is very lenient with grading and basically just looks for effort. weekly discussion + final presentation and paper (can do in groups). she gives good feedback and is always available if you have questions or need clarification. she's very sweet and caring, and she clearly wants her students to succeed and do well!

Probably the most open-minded professort I had at CSUN. Very lenient. Participation matters! There were only a few graded assignments.

I would recommend you to take this course with her! She's amazing and caring! There is one discussion posted weekly and the instructions are well detailed and easy to follow, there are multiple prompts to choose from in a discussion! There is a group project, very easy! If you do all the discussions and you'll be fine!
