He is an excellent professor. I would strongly recommend him. There is a lot of reading and quiz every week almost, but not hard at all. If you read the chapters for the tests, you do fine. Overall, I would strongly recommend him!!
Great teacher to have and not a bad class to take if your interested in business. Quizzes are not hard and worth good points.
Get ready to do a grip of reading. But he has a generous curve on exams. Exams can be challenging but if you go to class and read the text, you can do well exams.
He is boring, but a very easy teacher. Exams are ok, but the curves is huge! Take him if you can!
Teacher is good. Lectures are boring. Tests are HARD! Take him as a last choice.
Quizes and tests are very tricky. Does not lecture and teach very well either.
He's a wonderful person, but his tests are really difficult. Read or at the very least SKIM the chapters before each class because the quizzes are only easy if you've looked over the readings. the tests aren't so bad if you follow his outlines and study!
Terrible professor. He speaks with a strong accent and is a bit arrogant. His tests are very tricky. You practically have to memorize the book from back to back in order to do well. I would not reccommend this guy.
You definately need to go over the powerpoints. His tests are very very hard and the wording makes it look tricky. He is very helpful and does curve generously. I had him over summer, and I thought I was going to fail, but luckily he passed me with a C
Probably the BEST prof I've ever had in school. Classes are awsome, tests are challenging but very FAIR. Definitely made me a stronger person by taking his class. I suggest that you take take if you can.
gus is very nice and extremely knowledgeable....but the bottom line is that his h. mgmt 339 class was harder than hell. im a 4.0 business student and i was crying every day in that class. THE MOST HARD FREAKING CLASS EVER. tests impossible, five huge reports to do, plus readings, articles...DONT.
hard to understand. Exams are very hard.Boring class. Very busy. Have no time to help.
difficult to understand
RUN! Run the hell away! Get the hell out while you can! Hard as hell :(
He is an average-good teacher. His speaches are a bit boring but he gets the necessary material accross. His tests are fairly difficult but not too bad if you READ!!. For slackers, you should probably avoid this class, infact avoid college, you dont belong here. For real students, I wouldnt worry.
Great teacher. Good lectures. A bit hard... but that's what we are here for... to be challenged, right!?
lots of work for nothing. Hard to understand. Robot type teacher, does not interact with students and too busy.he wander a lot.Exams are hard.
Without a doubt, the hardest freakin' class I have taken at the school. Test are VERY difficult. He went over class percentage before the final,,, no A's,, a few B's,,, a couple C's and the rest were D's and F's!!! I am a B student and I am getting a D in this class along with over 75% of the class. AVOID IF YOU CAN!!!
Not as hard as everyone says. Nice guy and uses lots of real life examples to explain concepts. Straight forward from the two books and lectures, extra credit is offered, regular quizes are straight from the assigned chapters, tests some what hard but they are curved.
Study his outlines for each chapter!!!!!
Great professor. Very helpful and knowledgable. Exams are based on his lectures and not difficult. Also curves generously.
Not bad at all! Just a lot of reading and concepts....his tests are hard but directly out of what you read and his lectures
yOU RWEALLY HAVE TO STUDY OR ELSE YOUR DEFINITELY GOING TO FALL BEHIND. jUST FOLLOW HIS CHAPTER OUTLINE AND YOU WILL BE ALREADY AHEAD.
This guy is great! His tests are hard, but he curves them and offers extra credit. Very funny and entertaining, I would recommend to take this class. He is not bad at all, he actually makes the class interesting.
This teacher is sooo hard. He expects you to know the book by heart. His tests are extremely difficult. And he is a robotic prof. he is so very borring. This class was dreadfull i am lucky i was able to successfully withdraw.
very hard/not clear. Plan to get C or lower in his class. He curves and fix the grades so the average grade is 2.5 or lower. Avoid him if you can.
His teaching is good. Exams are fair. Questions are based on what he discussed in class. Not too hard to get an A if you took good notes on his lectures.

This guy is the department head for the Management Department, its not easy although it is for other 339 classes. Generous curve because CLASS AVERAGE on tests are 60% or lower. Most will get a C. To do well in the class you must read the chapters covered thoroughly. He knows this stuff inside and out. I did learn a lot from this class.
his the worst teacher i ever had, very hard test, very unhelpfull. my advice is to not take his class....
I don't see how people can say that his exams are hard. I hate MGMT courses but enjoyed every bit of his informative, clear, easy to understand lectures. he knows his stuff-you'l learn a lot. read textbook-focus on his outline, understand, memorize definition, and you'll be fine. he curves - adds points to the exam depending how the class did
He is really a good teacher, but his exams are a little dificult. Exams are curved though and he offers extra credit. Quizes are somewhat dificult, especially if you don't keep up on your reading. But if you read and really study his outlines and powerpoints you should do well. He is interested in helping you at least pass, if not succeed.
tests are tough, quizzes are cake, explains everything very clearly with world examples, very helpful, always wants feedback on how to make his class better, obsessed with toyota!
He is a good professor. The material was actually kinda interesting. He offers extra credit, curves his exams based on how the class did, and reviews for all tests using the chapter outlines. There are quizzes about every 2 weeks that u should read for, they really help with points! Not too hard of a class, its alright.
the quizzes are based directly from the outlines that he posts online!
Go to class and skim/ read chapters before class and you can get an A. In class examples help out big on tests. Some effort involved but not difficult if you care at all.
He is a very good professor, but this is not an easy "C" class. You NEED the book to read it prior to class, for the quizzes. I dropped the class; however, NOT because of the professor. His lectures were usually very clear and organized. He is always willing to help his students. He's realistic!!! TAKE HIM ONLY IF YOU REALLY WANT TO LEARN.
Do not take him...he can't teach and the tests are really hard.
Extremely organized and clear on what he will test you on, however, DO NOT let that fool you into thinking the test is easy. He limits what you need to know, however, you really need to know your stuff well. Get an A on the first test b/c the second is tough. Chapter 5 is the biggie for his class. Highly reccomend!
Good lectures and interesting class - but his tests are made to be difficult when the material is not. I would give his class a solid 3.
Do not take this professor...you will hardly not get a grade beyound C . Avoid him if you can.
He teaches 4 sections of the same class. His notes are old from year 2000. Try to get his past exams. He fix the grades so the majority of the students get an average of final c grade in his class. The class is hard and the clarity is bad. If you like to get a c or lower , then take his class
This teacher covered every section of the book and made the material harder than it is. The quizes are worth a huge percentage of you r grade and the exam reviews are useless. Do no take this teacher he does not make sense.
OMG a class that I ACTUALLY like had to open the book for! NO WAY! its like i'm in college.
He is very business like in his approach. He expects the students to do their part and study. He tells you what you need to know for the test. If you study until you know the material well, you will do well. If you want to learn, and succeed in the future, take him and learn. I would take him again.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!
He is nice, but the lecture is just nothing. By that I mean, you have to read and memorize every section of each chapter by yourself. Not recommended. Good luck if you decide to take this class.
He is a very nice guy, but fails to make a boring topic more interesting. Tests are difficult & have work problems on them.
Very tough classes, must go to class if you want to do well. He tries very hard to make the class interesting but does not do well at it. He is a nice guy but he makes the tests very difficult.
Just waste of time. The learning experience is zero. You could surely learn on your own. He claims he has industry and mamagement experiece but you get nothing.
Great professor. He usually does not take roll, but he knows everyone's name when passing back exams
one of the best teacher ever. his exams are tough but curve, pop quizzes, extra credit, and bonus pts would bring ur grade up.
Took as a summer course. This is the best way to take it. His study guides work wonders just memorize for tests. This instructor uses many real life examples and makes the subject interesting.
Avoid if you can
He's a good teacher, but the material is SO BORING!! Pop quizzes, so review the chapter outlines before class and exams are right from power point & lectures, with a little from the text. Some extra credit and he curves the exams, so all in all, I would recommend him. *No group project either!!!
He is okay...I missed a lot of classes (and he grades you on attendance) and I basically failed every test but he gives you a lot of extra credit points so that you'll be fine. And I didn't see the point of this class, but that's just me.
Remember people! This is rate my professor! Not rate the difficulty of the class! This class is pretty hard, but he makes everything sooo much easier. He is patient and is very good when it comes to explaining things. You need to make sure you read the material! He's one of the best professors I ever had.
Took this teacher for summer session. I actually took some concepts away from his class, and I'm glad i took it. You do have to study for a bit for the tests, but hey isn't that standard for any college course? I would take another class taught by Prof. Manoochehri.
Very good teacher. Explains all the information clearly and really tries hard to answer questions and encourage student participation. Quizzes are difficult, even if you have read the material. Does curve test scores.
This guy is so boring I wanted to bang my head on the wall thank god it was a summer class. Makes class harder than it should be with pop quizzes so read the chapters. Only bright spot was the HUGE curve I got a B+ but the class was a lot of memorization work. Do extra credit he penalizes you if you don?t do it, and helps your grade A lot. Easy C
Boring. What a waste of time.Count on unrelated exams questions?. His final grade are fixed and curved so almost every one gets average C. The max-only 1 or 2 students get A in his class.
Boring subject, but amazing professor. Extremely helpful and easy-going!! All based on powerpoint slides, but must study! Follow study guide outlines and study for quizzes. Class participation and attendance for easy points! He curves! One group project..lengthy but not hard. Put time into class and good grades will be achieved.
Friendly and helpful. However, he's a very strict grader on exams. The written portions on them are ridiculous. Don't be absent or come late to class! You will lose valuable attendance points. Also, he does lots of pop quizzes which are much easier than the exams he administers. Another reason to never miss class!
Very Knowledgeable. Very hard exams. He gives you a guide so study the lists of requirements off powerpoints first, then study the book. Take this class if you want to be rewarded for good attendence and participation. Memorizing lists and concepts are key to passing this class.
Took in 5 week summer session. All three midterms consist primarily of multi choice questions. Curves the test a lot. Second test had 7% curve. Gives lots of EASY extra credit. Dropped our lowest quiz score out the the 6 taken. Read, show up to class, and you will get an easy B. Tells you exactly what will be on test, and its true. Good Professor!
He is a very knowledgeable professor. Gives real-world examples. Study from the study guide. If you study the powerpoint n briefly read the textbook, u'll do excellent. Very nice guy. Highly recommended!!
Great professor. Very knowledgeable! Study from the study guide and powerpoints and you'll do fine. Periodic quizzes on chapters, but he'll give you hints about when they'll be. Very generous curve. Super nice guy!! Totally recommend!
Are you guys kidding me? This is the WORST professor I have EVER taken! AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Quizzes weekly. Exams were HARD! Essay portion was ridiculous..class was SO boring...I passed with a C, as did most of the class.
His test are hard, be sure to study off the powerpoints and book. His test questions are tricky, so take your time. There are pop quizzes so show up. He's super nice with extra credit, allows you to earn up to 10 extra points. Nice professor overall.
Tests were difficult but to be expected for a higher level class. Extra credit was offered throughout semester. Quizzes weekly to ensure reading was done. Group project graded individually for presentation and as a group for paper. Very nice and caring professor. Answers email too! Gives out grade to check periodically. Would take again.
He knows management inside and out. He is very helpful and knowledgeable, but he does not put up with slackers. If you show up, study, and do your assignments you will pass without a problem. Class participation is also something he looks for so speak up.
He definitely knows his stuff. Tests can be sort of hard, but if you actually read the book you'll do fine. Not an easy class per se, but you will learn a lot and you shouldn't have trouble at least getting a decent grade as long as you try.
He's a GREAT professor. He knows management in, out and sideways, gives great examples which helps you understand the theories he's presenting in class. You NEED to recite in class and attend coz it counts for 40pts plus there are pop quizzes. But my advice is BUY THE BOOK and READ it. He curves. I'm getting an A coz of that and I read the book.
Weekly quizzes pretty easy, didnt buy the book, he gives you chapter outlines with main points that will be on the test which can be answered on power point and paying attention in class. Gave extra credit periodically. Group project at the end fairly easy grades individually on presentation and as a group for paper.
Very easy if you do all the required work! There are easy "pop" quizzes, but he gives you hints when there is one. For the exams, read and understand his ppt! If you need more clarification, then refer to the book. Some ppl passed without the book. So it depends on you. He gives a max of up to 10 extra credit points! Very nice professor!
This guy is the worst teacher. Most student are curved to get C because he fix the grades to meet the University policy of class AVERAGE.Hardly any one in this class gets top grade, C grade is the best you can get. He read his lecture notes which are very old notes. I did not learn any useful or practical knowledge from from this class.
VERY difficult class. This is the first class I failed and it's my 4th year here. His lectures are really boring. You'd probably have to study the textbook to pass the class because the powerpoints weren't too helpful for me. There are a few pop quizzes and participation grade. He somehow knows everyone by their names even though it's a fairly larg
Tough class. Theres usually a pop quiz every week on the next chapter. To stay ahead, look over his slides on the next chapter as he lectures the current ones. His short answer questions are subjective and MC questions are often tricky. He offers a lot of extra credit opportunities; take them!
His class was excellent! He is very helpful and nice ... explaining the material really good! The quizzes are not that challanging, if your looking into the slides of last week... Exam is also fair! Best class ever!
not the best of professors. pop quizzes and ungraded hw. Exams are tough. he has study guides but you basically have to make it all on your own. i think 3 midterms, 1 final, and about 6/7 quizzes. Offers a lot of extra credit paper though. Overall not too bad. I reccommend
Honestly, this class requires a lot of reading. Although some of the things are common sense, his quizzes do have some specific details from the book. My advice is to TAKE NOTES and be in class. If you're the type of person to ditch class once every month, this class isn't for you. He has pop quizzes and alot of the things on tests are from lecture
I didn't even read the textbook and got an A. Just study the powerpoints really well for the weekly quiz, and use those to study for the exams as well. Also, know how to do the few calculation problems in the homework very well because they are on the exam.
Very good Professor in my opinion. The class is not difficult if you're willing to learn, because his lectures are extremely thorough. He gives excellent real world examples, and you could probably get by without the book if you come to every class and pay attention to his lectures. His exams are very hard if you don't know the material.
Professor Gus is a great professor he makes you interested in the class by talking about relative events and getting the class involved. There are pop quizzes so do read the book he also gives you chapter outlines! use those! they helped me so much he overs xtra credit and he curves exams! He is one of my fav professors at CSUF thanks professor!
He is easy but a waste of time. He teaches old outdated material. If there is an option take someone else. I do not recommend Dr. "C". We refer to him as Dr. C because that is the highest grade he gives out.
He teaches everything you need to know for the exam. Attendance is not mandatory but there are pop quizzes-at least 2 per exam. They are not hard though; just need to study the PowerPoint. There were two exams & a final. Gives a lot of extra credit. Exams consist of multiple choice & a written portion.
This class is easy if you just put in a little effort. The exam's aren't too hard if you take notes during class. Read the book or go through the slides of the next week to prepare for his quizzes. I bought the book and got an A, but you can easily pass without it. Just go to class, listen and participate. Gives up to 10 points extra credit.
Worst professor at CSUF. Do not take him. His lecture is great for your "bed time" story...*yawn"
He was relatively easy but I did not learn much either. his voice was so monotone that it use to put me to sleep. He tried to teach but the material was very basic. O the scale of 1 to ten I rate him a 2 out of 10. If you want to learn then find another instructor.
Took it in summer 2017, there are six pop quizzes, and three exams challenging. It was fast paced. There is multiple choice and fill in the blank. There are extra credit. I wish I could have put more time studying.
Just took the final and I have to say It was one of the Hardest Test I've beeen taken, only because he DIDNT PREPARE us at all! He curves a lot because average is terrible. I am a Deans List honor student and I spent hours self studying and it didn't do anything
Take a drink every time he says "basically." Good guy, but he reads off the powerpoints. Gives random pop quizzes, so be sure to read the chapter before going to class. Tough grader for sure. His excuse is he wants you to work for it and learn the material.
Pretty hard class. Quizzes almost every week *FOLLOW THE SYLLABUS AND READ EVERY CHAPTER BEFORE COMING TO CLASS* and don't skip class, attendance counts for a big chunk of the grade. Read VERY carefully for midterms bc the MC are super tricky. Good thing is he offers a giant curve and a lot of EC assignments.
Dont do this to yourself! Says basically at least 15 times per class. The kind of teacher that has book knowledge but no life experience in the field he teaches. VERY old fashion teaching. Accent is heavy so his lectures are not clear. Insultive toward students and blames student if they do no succeed in the course not his fault if we fail.
Avoid taking him at all costs. His chapter outlines are nothing like the test or quizzes. He reads the powerpoint word for word. If you want extreme anxiety and stress then I recommend this class.
You will want to rip your hair how over how many times he says basically in each sentence.
He makes you want to pull out your hair. He has to be the worst professor on CSUF campus. He reads off the power point and says basically/ sure every other sentence. Tests are extremely difficult and the class average is usually around 50-60 percent. AVOID AT ALL COST!
He is awful! Uses published provided PowerPoint slides that can range from 80-100 slides. Then he will give pop quizzes throughout the semester. His test are extremely difficult and you pretty much have to know everything. When the average is very low, he will blame the students. Avoid him and save yourself a lot of stress, anxiety, and emotions.
Out of about 40 students in our class 21 of them failed the final. Consider that before you register for him. He is the absolute worst.
I studied for probably 2 hours a week, some weeks longer for the chapters with problems. This is an upper division business class, if you aren't willing to put in the work, you're not going to do well in it. He curves the test, offers extra credit, provides study guides. The concepts are super easy if you just put the effort in to learn them :)
1st average exam score was 55%, more than half the class failed the final. He did a huge curve for everyone as the final grade, but just don't take him. He makes simple concepts hard and exam questions hard, only reads off of power points.
Difficult class. half the class fail the final exams.
Really difficult class!! A lot of people fail the exams, but he does curve. After the second exam literally half of the class had "C" as their total grade, and this was after huge curves he would give.
He expects you to read hundreds of pages a week. Then on his insanely hard exams with fill in the blank, 25 M/C questions, and then two essay questions. He grades insanely hard and gives zero feedback and fails more then half the class. He blames the students and is beyond terrible. Lectures suck and if you have him, then get out!
Took the summer 30 day course. Speaks in a voice barely audible and monotone, We asked if he can speak up he got upset (we were in a small classroom). Makes the test unnecessarily hard (he will tell you that).Terrible at explaining anything. READ THE BOOK! When asked to go over example problems, he said NO! Had to teach self, Garbage DoNotTake!
Old-fashion. His lecture style is not useful nowadays.
I think he is a terrible teacher. Do yourself a favor and never take this professor! Class is super boring, his lectures are straight verbatum his powerpoints. He enjoys making tests and quizzes extremely hard. I wouldn't reccommend him to anyone. Terrible teacher, shouldn't be allowed to teach. Also it is difficult to understand him bc accent
He makes his test questions intentionally to trick students, which he has said in class. He does not value actual education. He seems proud that his test average is around 50%. Avoid him at all costs. His lectures are dry. He is a horrible professor.
I absolutely hate this class. Accent is hard to understand, and he takes attendance. I normally don't mind going to class but he literally just reads the powerpoint. He should never be able to teach math, confused everyone. class is super boring and dont recommend it to anyone. the tests are really hard
Professor Man is a nice guy and cares about his students. His exams are difficult because they are fill in the blank, some MC and then some short answer. There is a curve and he is understanding if you talk with him one or one or go to office hours. I passed with the curve and never missed a class.
Professor Manoochehri is so nice. I had his class once a week, and yes his lectures are a bit boring but you always see him with a smile; which made me feel kind of bad that the majority of the class were always on their phones or laptops doing something else. His exams are kind of hard, but if you study the outlines and then some you will pass.
This professor is a great person and is very knowledgeable. However, the class is just not very interesting. His lectures are super boring and dry (Half my class was doing other things during lectures). His tests are difficult if you don't study so make sure you really make an effort to study.
Professor has only two words in his vocabulary: "OKey , Sure ". He basically reads off the powerslides most of the time, be ready to know every single definition for the exam. When receiving your first grade, don't be surprised anybody got an A. he will curve if the class average is bad. Be ready to study before every chapter as well.
Prof Manoochehri is nice and approachable. He comes to class with a smile asking how everyone is. However, he was unable to make the subject interesting and the tests were insane. Tons of material for every test and he expects that you know definitions on the 65th slide of chapter X and math that he did not teach for the final. Try to avoid :)
Reads almost verbatim off of the power points. Doesn't really explain concepts clearly especially ones that require math calculations. Exams are a mix of half multiple choice and half fill in the blank. Exams are almost always curved based on the class averages. Offers 10 Points extra credit for article summaries. Avoid if you can, not really good.
My least stressful class of the covid semester. 2 midterms, 1 final, and optional EC 1 page papers. Curves tests based on class averages (usually about 7 points per test). All info is on live zooms (he records and posts them too). Timed exams, no proctorio. Take good notes from the lecture and you'll be set.
I enjoyed Professor Manoochehri's class because it was straight forward in terms of expectations and grading criteria. Many people complain that he simply reads off the PowerPoints, however it makes sense since his exams are derived from the slides and book. If you want an A all you need to do is study from those two sources and you'll be good.
Very sweet professor, but his lectures are boring, no student engagement, Death by PowerPoint, he sticks to his PowerPoint lectures and does not deviate from it regardless if the PP is incorrect. His tests are super difficult, especially the written ones, you may get the answer right, but he may still mark you wrong by not explaining it his way.
Doesnt teach anything, reads everything off the PowerPoint, its word for word whats in the textbook, which we only used once for problems and for a graph on the final, no hw so your grade only comes from exams and extra credit, do the extra credit for sure, easy reports, one page double spaced, avoid if you can, boring zooms but all are recorded
Only graded on exams which are open note, open book, not proctored. If youre handy with command F its impossible to get below a B on the tests. The average on most of them were Ds/Fs. Pretty sure most of the kids just dont understand how to utilize open notes. He sucks as a teacher, didnt learn anything. Never studied for a test either.
He will say textbook is mandatory but only used it once to look at practice problems. Waste of $$. Failed to inform the class tests were open note until 2/3 tests were taken then blamed us for low grades. Not happy about that. Use the powerpoint info. Tests very detailed oriented and entire grade is 3 tests + 10 EC points.
He sincerely cares about his students and it shows! The content isn't the most exciting and it is a lot to cover so it's not easy, but as long as you read the chapters and follow his study guide for the exams you should be good. Curves based on avg and offers plenty of extra credit, he is super generous and I enjoyed his class!! Wants you to suceed
Isn't very involved. Expects you to have already read the chapter that will be covered in class and occasionally give a quiz at the beginning of class to prove it. Lectures are based on powerpoints, exams are based on textbooks. Will also spend a lot of time complaining about bad test grades rather than teaching and offering other resources.
DON'T TAKE HIM! He wants you to read chapters before teaching them in class and does SURPRISE quizzes. He can't teach and just reads off the powerpoint, super boring. Exam average is below 50%, that's why the department makes him do grade curves of two letter grades. 3 exams, about 5-6 surprise quizzes, no hw. Worst professor I had at CSUF.
It was difficult to pay attention to this class; he speaks so softly and doesn't make the lectures interesting enough. Reading textbook is a must he can give you pop quizzes on any chapter; the exams where also difficult. He offers extra credit. There's a bit of math but he refused to go over the practice problems in class even though he we asked.
Beware! Reading is mandatory as he assigns pop quizzes before chapter lectures. His ego is boosted at the fact that his exams are extremely tough. Lectures are boring as he reads directly off them & teaches at a slow, boring pace. Doesn't go over math problems if he is asked as "he provides the answers so it would be a waste of time to go over it."
If you're a woman, identify as one, or look like one, be aware of taking this professor since he will shut you down if you ask a question. Gus also shuts you down if you are not one of his favorites in the class. Additionally, he has pop quizzes that you have before you review the chapter in class, so you have to read the chapters beforehand.
It is strongly advised to steer clear of this individual. His suitability as a faculty member is highly questionable, making him unequivocally the least effective professor at CSUF. It is recommended that he seriously contemplate retirement in the near future.
Extremely overwhelming. Has pop quizzes and will purposely inconvenience students to stress the fact that the class is hard. He does not go over math problems because "he already provided the answers." Exams were extremely difficult & lectures were so hard to follow along.
Despite commendable credentials, the course lacks necessary dynamism for optimal comprehension. A more interactive teaching approach is crucial for improvement, benefiting all seeking an engaging educational experience. As long as you can read and remember terms, you will pass.
Professor is knowledgable but he goes off on a tangent during lectures. When you have a question he assumes you should know it bc it's in the textbook that he expects you to read daily. Quizzes before going over a chapter so know chapter before going to class. Decent grade curving. 2 exams and a final!
Hes slow at teaching and slows down at the really easy stuff and skips past the hard stuff. The tests aren't terrible, but they are if you don't look over the slides and study. He curves a lot. He says, ok, sure, and certainly 1000 times a day. it gets annoying. He's a good guy, but he shouldn't be teaching. He is the worst professor I've had.
Be prepared to teach yourself pretty much. There are 7 pop quizzes and 3 exams he has through mgmt339 class. You never know when he will give a quiz really or attendance so showing up is important. His lecturers are really boring and he goes slow. Do recommend to steer away from him, unless you are fine with curve of 15% with majority having C,D.
Dont buy the textbook just take notes off the lecture slides and study that. He gives random pop quizzes, make sure that to study the next chapter for the pop quiz. just study the slides and remember the examples he gives in class because they will appear on the test. Come to class and try to focus.
im not one to complain about professors but this professor is probably one of the hardest professor ive taken so far as a junior. His tests are tough with the medians of the two exams being 57% and 47%. im literally not kidding lmao. try to avoid him if possible . no clue how some students rated him 4-5
Prof. Manoochehri is a textbook traditional professor. He stands in front of the class and lectures about topics you're expected to know about by reading the chapter before class. If you don't read the chapter, everything is gibberish and he speaks another language. Gus is an understanding professor who holds you accountable.
Many people didn't like the professor's style of teaching, but I didn't understand why. It was very simple: he expected you to read the textbook before class, and then he lectured. I rarely read the textbook before class, and I received an A, so it's not even a requirement. Exams are heavily curved, around 15%
dont take this professor. professor makes this class more difficult than it ever should be. assigns pop quizzes on readings that we havent gone over and the exams are extremely difficult. the average for exams have been 55% or less and thats all you need to know
While Gus' teaching style takes some adjustment, the workload is manageable if you stay on top of the readings. unstuck AI was a lifesaver for exam prep, complementing the textbook and lecture slides.
This professor knew he was making the exams a lot harder than others. Lectures were really boring , he would just read over the slides. The exams include multiple choice questions plus fill in the blanks or solving problems. He was just a hard professor. I would recommend taking someone else
I would not recommend this class if you actually want to learn. The professor reads his slides word for word every week and once in a while teaches something. He is a nice guy and offers extra credit and curves every exam, but you will suffer. Read the textbook because otherwise, you won't understand.
Early class and he's always late. No practice exams, no study guide and isn't accessible outside of class. Surprise quizzes on chapters u've not learnt & does not drop. Self taught everything as he only reads word for word off the slides. Always behind schedule making it difficult to learn the material last minute before exams. Go for others.
Gives pop quizzes but you cant keep them to study. same with the exams. VERY DULL lecture. reads off of slides and his slides are vague compared to concepts of exams. Not tech-savvy at all so the lecture has been delayed many times. The concepts of the course themselves arent too bad just consider someone else his age is starting to show. gives EC
Tbh I think he has dementia. Don't take.
