Essentially, if you're going for a math degree, don't take his discrete math class. You'll take the most watered-down, easy, boring version of discrete math, but I don't know if this was his fault or not. Also, he teaches so many classes he's often disorganized and tired. While that's a critique of capitalism and not him, the class suffers from it.

Great math prof - clearly loves math & makes the lectures fun with his silly thoughts & jokes. At first, he had me worried on the first test because the questions weren't anything like the hw or lectures, but the rest of the tests matched so they ended up not being that bad. Took harder classes with this one which made it harder than it really was.

I took him for College algebra 1314, we reviewed for the test in class immediately before the actual test, this professor made me not have math anxiety anymore, and made me realize that I could in fact learn and pass my math classes, tests are also reasonable in difficulty and easy extra credit, if you put in effort it's an easy/moderate A

This is THE Professor for Statistics. You need to attend every class because his lectures are 10x better than trying to learn from the textbook. The vast majority of your grades comes from your 4 exams and there is a lot of extra credit to cushion your grades. He is easy-going and an incredible professor.

Gustavo is an amazing professor who genuinely loves math and teaching. He's very high-energy, so he can be hard to follow at times, but everything else about his teaching is excellent. Do some reading before class and you'll be fine. If you can get into the honors version, take it—there's a bit more material, but the projects can boost your grade.

Amazing and very caring professor. I've taken his online class and SI'ed for the in-person version with him. The online one is great, but in person is even better—mostly just by the nature of this kind of class. Either way, he makes the class as good as it can be. The material ramps up quickly, so stay on top of your homework and readings.

If you can take Professor Cepparo, DO IT! He was very nice and teached the class in a great manner. You can tell he really loves math, the way he wrote proofs were great. I will not lie, some parts where difficult to grasp, especially at the end, but he did his best and I am thankfull I took him. Very fun class, take him in person if you can.
