One of the funniest teacher's I've ever had. His class is actually fun and you get to interact throughout class. One class a week is gameday. Test are easy too.

This "GUY" is a stud!!!!! His class is fun because the students do the teaching and if they miss anything he adds his two cents. He makes learning fun and he makes you learn without a lot of work. GOOOOOOOOD CLASSS!!!!!! On Thursdays you play games and have an opportunity to earn extra credit (that's the learning part!)

Guy might seen a little unorganized at times, but you can tell he really cares about his students and real want you to do well. Awesome teacher, keeps the class interesting. If you enjoy projects and presentations, this is the perfect class for you! Hi GUY~!!! Oh! and he is HOT too~!!

Great professor. Easy to talk to and willing to help whenever. Its the students responsibility to read the chapter material, and if you do that you should have no problem passing the class. Highly Recommended!!!

Dr. B is super in all ways: he’s smart, funny, and makes the material fun to learn. Do the reading, come to class, study and you should do well, not difficult to get a B. The last idiot who put this teacher down obviously has no life nor is honest. If you want a teacher who really cares about students and loves teaching take him.

Dr. B is a fantastic professor. He takes interest in his students and wants them to succeed. He is always willing to help and meet with students, so they know exactly what is expected. If you do the reading, come to class, study for exams, you should succeed in the class. I've had him for three classes, and Iam very happy with his teaching skill

Take my advice - take Bachman for 307! He knows we are comm majors and math is a little scary - so he explains everything so well and reminds us not to stress. He is VERY helpful and he encourages you to go to his office hours....I'm so glad I took him for 307 - I managed an A! Great teacher, good overall class.

Bachman is a good professor!.. this class is very interesting and you learn alot of relatioships and conflicts in relationships.. Make sure you guys go on exam review day becuase it is very helpful... Take him, wounderful professor!

I recommend this class to anyone who likes to date! :-) I took it during the summer so it was short and sweet (but I think it would be better to take it during the fall semester to get the full effect) Tests can be tricky - so go to review day! Bachman was fun as always- good guy, really enjoyed his stories.

Take the calss and enjoy. You'll learn a lot about relationships and how to be a better partner.

comm 410 was easy just because he made the class easy for his students. i highly recommend dr. bachman for this class.

Tha class was a little disorganized, but overall pretty cool. He made sure that we all understood what to do before we moved onto the next thing. He let us know everything we needed to for the exams. Projects weren't too difficult. He can be a little off the wall sometimes, but he's overal really cool and easy to get a hold of through e-mai!

Fun class but too many students to deal with at one time. I think Bachman did a fantastic job teaching. Yes he is a bit off the wall but he makes things really fun and is very easy to talk with, supportive and helpful. I worked hard in the class to earn A. Happy New Years.

Guy is the man! At first I was a little intimidated, but he made this class fun and proved to be a good and fair teacher. I loved that he would incorporate interesting recent research into his lectures that are not in the book. Guy may be a little out there sometimes, but he is really a good man, so take him if you know what's good for you.

This was fun class. people complain but many of got an A and all because we paid attention. Not simple material for comm majors , but bachman makes it easy to undertand. I for one will take more classes from him.

Mixed feelings. Knowledgeable and good PowerPoint presentations. Friendly and VERY flexible. Makes material enjoyable; doesn't stray much beyond the textbook. Some student interaction but not much on the Socratic method (asking students to defend their positions). You get as much out of the course as you put in. Easy to glide by with A or B.

he's very flexible and clear in his expectations! his class was full, but he ended up letting about 20 students in regardless! he cares about his students and is fun to listen to!:)

He can be a little loopy at times but this class was pretty easy. Just make sure you study for the exams--he posts all the notes on beachboard. No HW, just a group assignment and a final paper. As a person with major senioritus, this class was a no brainer.

Bachman is a great guy. He's funny, outspoken and very approachable. He truly cares about his students and makes his classes enjoyable, even though there's some math involved. The class is not difficult to sit through and the project is pretty fun. As a statistics for comm majors course, his class is straight-forward and easy. Recommended!

What lies, Dr. Bachman treats all students equal & with respect. That student screwed up, never came to class or something. This class rocks.

He's as easy as it gets for a 307 class. Sometimes he rambles on and I haven't a clue of what he said. At the end though he's easy. Just know the basic stuff and you will be fine. He's a cool guy. He's funny too.

We know who you are and why you cut down bachman - go to class and pay attention instead of simply expecting good grades. Dr B is a good teacher.

Dr. Bachman is a fantastic teacher! He gives a great lecture, and the pace of the class adjusts to the learning level of the students. He is extremely understanding, and helpful. Take for 307.

contours his class to his students. only 11 people in my winter class & i really enjoyed going. it felt like i was just hangin out cuz he created such a fun, interpersonal, learning environment...games, speeches, no tests, easy final paper, great guy, great class, got an A, & i actually gained public speaking confidence & persuassive knowledge :)

He's a good prof but a little scatterbrained/disorganized. He's pretty casual and the class is really easy. For 307 there really wasn't a lot of hardcore math at all, so if you're terrible @ math you might wanna take him! 2 tests, 2 quizzes, and 1 group project (which is really easy).

Comm majors - take this guy for your 307 req! Even if you are horrible at math, you will still get AT LEAST a B, if not an A.

My favorite professors. Very laid back and funny. I had him for both 307 and 410, got A's in both of them. He brings the actual test in and asks you questions the day before. Just write them down and study the answers and you should get A's on everything. 1 group project that is simple. If you don't get an A, somethings wrong with you.

He's HILARIOUS! He totally goes off-topic all the time, but he's funny and the class is entertaining. Class is easy, we only needed the book for the project. Attendance isn't "mandatory" but he takes attendance randomly. He's also super nice if you go talk to him. Take him for any class, he's the best!

Very Friendly Teacher. Dr B. Did a fabulous job teaching basic stats and research methods. Two exams, one quiz, and group projects. The final is all math so pay attention. Easy to get a B in the class if you do all the work and learn the material.

Dr B is the master of teaching. He makes class really really fun. His lectures take my breath away, so much useful information to take in. His only flaw is his good looks, super hott which made me a little distracted during exams.

I don't think a class has to to be difficult to be good. Any person who has, or cares about being in relationships should take this course. Three exams, short paper, and final group presentation not what I call super easy! good job Dr B

Dr.Bachman is an excellent professor, it's great to be a student in his class but not his T.A. Beware if you're his T.A because he will give you tons & tons of work; you will spend hours on boring reasearch!

I agree, being Dr Bachman's TA is very stressful, time consuming, and hard. He had be doing so much boring research! BUT just his regular classes are super fun :) I recommend being a student in his class but not a TA.

I took Dr.Bachman's class last Winter Intersession and it was great! I learned so much because he made it easy to understand. I was able to graduate on time because I took the class in the Winter.

Taking Dr. Bachman's class in the summer is the best! I highly recommend it, he makes learning fun :)

Super funny, chill, straight-forward and fair class. Lectures can be long but he lets you take notes on electronics + he posts the powerpoints online. 3 exams all multiple choice, semester long workbook assignment only due twice. One of my favorite professors. Would definitely take again. Do not miss review days. If you want an A, don't miss any.

I was really nervous to take this class due to my shyness, however, I loved this class. It helped me a great deal! The speeches are easy and the teacher was really laid back. Class was often cancelled which was a plus. I would definitely take this class again.

Guy is amazing. Sometimes his assignments are a little difficult but he's very open to helping students out. Im thinking the last few reviews on here were from people who skipped class. If you just go and listen he clearly reviews for whats on exams and loves to talk during office hours. Pay attention to the lecture and don't miss review days!

I took Guy for Comm 306 and 410. He's straight forward when it comes to exams, and what he expects on papers/ projects. Super nice and caring, I'm sad that he's not teaching this Spring. I don't understand why he even has negative reviews, whoever wrote them is probably a salty student who never showed up to class, definitely chilly pepper worthy!

Take him. You will not be disappointed. Annoyed with group projects but happy at the end of the semester. 2 tests max, no attendance tracked, no book required.

Bachman has a different way of teaching compared to other professors. He teaches using powerpoints and posts them online after class. In total, we only had one final group project which also came with a paper and three tests, including the final ( all multiple choice). I would recommend this class if you are looking for an easy, fun course.

He lectured on chapters but you need to read. He likes to let groups teach and that worked. Pretty easy class. Hard class and he help you pass

He is an amazing professor. I took his COMM110 Summer class and it was very interesting. He makes the long lectures seem so short. I recommend taking notes during lectures as they will be your only way to study. Choose him for an easygoing class especially for summer.
