Prof. McCann is extremely competent. He is highly energetic. Treats students with respect. Gives fair exams, but you need to work. Reviews everything. recommend him to anyone.

Professor McCann is a fantastic instructor with a variety of University credential's. Of the many, my favorite is Berkley. He is exciting, humorous, informative and enthusiastic in lecture. Never will board um be an issue. I highly recommend any class with Professor McCann especially the Physical Science's.

Professor McCann says that time travel isn't possible under today's circumstances--I think he's an alien that ages very slowly, who has traveled very far and is trying to cover it up! Take his class, you'll love it.

Good professor, I definitely recommend him. Classes consisted of lectures and powerpoint presentations and grade is based on the five or so exams given. Material is difficult, but he explains it well. Exams are challenging, but not impossible as long as you study. Lecture notes are posted online and reviews are given prior to exams.

Geology. Great class. You learned if you wanted to and if you didnt you could still get an A.

Professor McCann is amazing! The best teacher I've ever had, I recommend him to everyone. In his astronomy class there is only 4 assignments, which are all multiple choice quizzes. He has a full review day before each test and provides a study sheet. He provides notes, no homework ever. The hardest math problem is D= 1/P.

Answers all questions you have and makes the class a fun one! Just a quick warning though: the first few tests do have trick questions, but if you study the study sheet and review you'll be fine! All and all I loved this class and would take over!

Super EASY class! The teacher is so funny! He gives you study sheets for each test, as long as you study that you will pass. There are a few trick questions on the first 3 tests, but if you just think you will get them.

Professor McCann is a great teacher. Very loud and likes to crack jokes. I was hoping to get much more out of the class since I was looking into minoring in meteorology. But, its a very basic class. Doesn't require you to show up all the time. You really only need to show up to get a review sheet and the test days. Only have four grades/tests.

He was great. I didn't care to take his class at first but after just one class I knew I would love it. I looked forward to his class every week. You do not have to attend but you will want to. Hes a lot of fun and he knows his stuff. 4 tests make up your grade and he gives you the answers on the review that are almost identical. :)

Professor McCann is great! This is my second class with him and I wish a lot of my previous professors were like him. My class was 1x week, which is good and bad. 4 tests are your grade and he gives you reviews with the answers the class before the tests. You don't need to attend the lectures often to get a good grade. Just study the reviews!

This is an extremely enjoyable instructor! Mr. McCann has a great personality, and knowledgeexperience beyond school budget! The book isn't required, lectures are off the notes he prints and hands out, and his at home reviews are very similar to the exams. If your semester is looking packed with suck?... take this Guy for some relief!

MET2010 When he says "the test is 12 pictures of clouds & spell the names correctly" study the names & spelling. Some didn't pass thinking clouds were too easy to study. GLY2010 When he says "the test is only 4 questions," please study the open ended answers. Once again some students didn't pass thinking 4 questions must be simple. Very easy A.

I took the once a week class for Intro to Astronomy by McCann and I loved his teaching style! He really dumbed it down for us college students in a way that we can easily comprehend. He's hilarious and approachable; he will make sure that you understand what he's teaching before moving on. I plan on taking future courses by the same professor. :)

This professors class is pretty straight forward. Its a matter of passing four tests and keeping attendance and the student is guaranteed an A or a well earned B. He is extremely entertaining as well as insightful in regards to both the topic material being discussed, as well as loads of extra knowledge on the subject. Awesome professor!

Professor McCann is AMAZING. He does not grade attendance, but that won't matter because his lectures are so cool you'll WANT to show up to class. He's animated on his subject matter and it made me (a person who dislikes sciences in general) completely enthralled. He gives great study guides and spends a class reviewing for the tests. This dude is awesome & hilarious. He marks everyone present everyday. You don't have to buy the bk because he has one in class for you to use & take pics of QsAs. Tests are all memorization, but he will stump you on a few Qs. Theres a review day right before test. he does cool experiments in class if you're there. 4 grades, all tests. I got a 92.

He's so funny, This is one of my favorite teachers! I'm taking every class taught by him they are too easy! Don't need books gives you a "study sheet" before test and it's impossible to fail!

Took Intro to Astronomy and had a great experience with Professor McCann. He's eager to share the knowledge he has and is level with his students. Lectures are usually interesting and he always provided lecture notes and study guides for exams. There were only 4 grades for the semester based on the exams so do your best to study for those.

Mr. McCann is great! He makes it clear from the start that he is not out to make your learning difficult. He wants everyone to pass and if you don't while taking this class you didn't put any effort. This class is mainly reading and posting discussions. He gives practice exam questions and most are on the exam maybe worded differently.

One of the best professors I've ever had and one of the best classes I've taken!! Took class online only had about five discussion posts, two quizzes, and 3 tests all semester. He has a practice test before the actual test and 40 questions from the practice test are on the test so basically gives you answers for the test, very easy A!!

I took astronomy online and I loved the class. He gives you practice exams, which if you do them then you simply cannot fail his exams. Make sure you do all of his group discussions because those are heavily weighed in your grade. I learned a lot while also enjoying the class.

great teacher, you have to do a weekly discussion about a website that posts space stuff around 300 words and then a reply to a student like 175. all of his exams have a practice. TAKE THE PRACTICE EXAM all of the answers on the exam will be in practice one. a great simple class to take if you wanna squeeze in another class.

I've taken two classes from this professor and loved both. The syllabus is clear and very easy to follow when you have a full work load. You do 7 discussions about 150 words each, 75 word reply. 2 quizzes and 4 exams total.

Every week, there is a quick writing assignment which is kind of hard to do without getting the answers from the book. There is also a quick weekly quiz and a discussion or video quiz every other week. The assignments aren't hard, you just gotta do them. There are two midterms and a final, which you basically get the answers from practice quizzes.

Mr. McCann is a great teacher. He makes class fun. If you show up to class and review your notes and study guides there is no reason to get anything below a A+ I would def take his class again.

I really enjoyed his Astronomy class, he was a very funny and energetic professor and I would take his class again. He only graded by his 4 exams but he gave out study guides with the answers, so it is an easy A if you come to class and pay attention.

Proffesor Mccan was great, I took him for both Intro to Geology and Intro to Astronomy. Super easy class if you need simple classes to boost your GPA take one with him. The class consists of 5 exams that are the exact replica of the study guide they're open note tests, discussions that there are no right answer to & mini quizzes in between.

I took 2 classes with him and he is so easy! Online courses make my life easier in general-but honestly we don't need a text book, internet resources and the info he provides is more than enough to get the class done quick. I worked ahead and got the classes completed early.

So easy. TAKE HIM. Gives study guides for every test which is the exact test. Had very few assignments, and I never used the textbook. Fun discussion posts about NASA pictures of the day. Professor was so sweet and such an easy grader.

This is the easiest class you will ever take at PHSC Not sure how you get anything below an A. If you trying to rack up some credits take every class Professor McCann has to offer.

A lot of discussions. but they're easy. You write about a picture from EPOD and give additional information (questions provided in the assignment). Exams have the same questions and answers as the practice. Some are not found in the practice, but they can be found online.

Honestly recommend this teacher to everyone! He's so funny and I've taken every science class and elective I could with him. Because he is just that awesome and very understanding if something comes up. He's a MUST HAVE teacher!

He is simply the smartest person I've ever met and the best professor I had while going to school. Smart and caring, nerdy and cool, bro is simply impressive.
