he is without a doubt the best teacher i have ever had. he will make you love learning and want to keep coming back every day.
Mr. Habib's accent was very difficult to understand. He speeds through the material. I gave up listening and taught myself from the book. It seemed the test questions were nothing like the material in the book. BEWARE!
His accent makes keeping up in class difficult. Goes through the material way too fast, doesnt teach by the book so it is hard to learn the math from the book. But people say you either love him or hate him as a teacher.
He has a strong accent and goes over the material way to fast. If you ask a question he treats you like you are dumb and that you should always understand what he is saying.
Mr. Habib is a very nice prof. If you ask for help he will give it to you and his classes are never boring he always has something funny to say. He's a cool teacher.

Online class.. 100 on class quizzes then failed his test.. material did not match. Changed to another teacher to pass. Might have been ME, or the fact that it was an ONLINE class and I needed to see the material worked.
I really enjoyed his class. He keeps it interesting.

Love this man!! I took him for as many math classes as i could! He has a big personality and you cannot take him seriously! He makes you do your work but he also makes it interesting! Go for it!

I took Mr. Habib for Mat 101 online, which was one of my first online classes. I ended up with an A. I think he was as good as any online teacher can be. I hope to take Mat 120 on campus with Mr. Habib. I would definitely recommend him to anyone.
BEST.MATH.PROF.EVER. I have had some really bad math profs, and Habib is not one of them. He has very clear boundaries and expectations. If you give 100% you should have no problems.
Bad as a teacher, seemed like a good person. told too many stories, and we stayed over every class. I could barely understand him, and his test are crazy!!! wouldn't recommend him, and will not take him again.
He is a very nice guy, and a good teacher. He offers help outside of class and wants everybody to do their best. Attendance is mandatory, and he will call you out if you come in late.
You have to be joking..it was not a pleasant experience for me. tests were extremely hard and i could not understand him

Probably the best Math teacher i've ever had made the class interesting and tests weren't a joke nor too hard. He is somewhat hard to understand but still an awesome teacher.
He does not stay on topic long and it is often hard to follow what he is talking about. Prob n Stats is a subject that you need to stay on top of and Mr. Habib is not the teacher for that, he may be okay for algebra but Stats was difficult. Overall, show up for class and you will still feel like you are not there. GOod luck to who ever takes this
He was hard to understand at times and didn't follow the book at all in lectures.He made it clear he didn't like the book. When i was in class I understood what he was saying but when I got home and looked at the book's homework problemsm, I was lost. He often gets off topic and goes on tangents about cherios or wheaties. He's a nice guy though.

I loved this class. He is a bit fast and hard to understand sometimes, but he is funny and friendly. I did well in this class and had to do little homework to understand the concepts since he broke them down really well during class. Make sure you show up for class and pay attention and you will do fine. One missed class can make the difference, th
awesome teacher just dont get him on cold night and a whopper excellent teacher if student knows good math background. Do not expect a free A. 2-3 hrs homework needed to get the grade. I did it in a summer with 1.5 hr classes 3 days a week. This guy really knows his math.
I'm pretty good at math, but I really understood statistics with mr. habib, even though it was my first stat class. Plus, he's hilarious.
I absolutely love his class!! I had him for Algebra 101 & 102 & hope to be in his mat 120 class next semester. He makes learning math so easy & his humor has me laughing every day in class. I actually look forward to his class & never miss even one day! I highly recommend him to anyone that wants to learn in a fun environment.

Loved Mr. Habib. I was SOOO bad at math in high school and he explained things in a way where I totally got it! Fantastic teacher! Would recommend him to anyone!!!
Very good guy! Can be a little hard to understand because of his accent. This is definitely a class you need to do quite a bit of work outside of class to understand the material. The book isn't super helpful as it teaches through examples rather than teaches the concepts directly. Overall would recommend but understand the workload outside class.

Best Math professor EVER!!!If you don't ace, and love this prof then the problem is you, not this guy. He's so friendly, clear and wonderful curriculum. Goes out of his way to be there for his students. Hands down great man.

mat120 is much more challenging than algebra but Mr. Habib made it so clear and easy to understand. class attendance is crucial to follow along. if you do the book exercises for each chapter and come to class daily you will excel! he is willing to help with any questions. he rewards those who do their share of hardwork! entertaining along the way!
Awesome teacher!!I recommend him to everyone. He made confusing math seem easy and now that i am in 109 i realize how good he teaches and how much i really learned from him. If he taught 109, he would have been my instructer. hes really funny too.

Mr. Habib is the best math teacher Tech has; he's hilarious, caring, and never has too little time to see to his student's needs. I never made above a D in any math class until I took his course. If you're not a math whiz, he is for you! He puts things in a perspective you can understand and he makes things interesting. He ROCKS.
Mr. Habib was Great! He really do want you to learn. He knows what he's talking about. He's a really great teacher but it really helped to get a tutor. The quiz are take home and his test questions come from the quizzes. I definitely recommend him!

Mr. Habib is awesome! He is very lenient and easy going. He doesn't seem to be the technically savvy person so if you take his course online it may prove a little more difficult because it takes him a little longer to set up everything and you'll have virtually zero information available in blackboard. BUT HE IS STILL THE GREATEST ALGEBRA TEACHER!
Mr. Habib is a very nice and silly man, but he just wasn't the teacher for me. I had a very hard time catching on to what he would be teaching and he always went way to fast for you to understand him. He also only gives you tests and homework and that's it... no filler grades to help you out in the long run and that really took it's toll on me.

As a person he is awesome. I loved being in his class. Everything went by so fast. I had a hard time keeping up. I'm not much of a math person. It has always been hard for me. I need more step by step detailed instruction.
Mr Habib funny great person, But not a good teacher, he tells you something about doing it, then we move onto the next thing, no examples on how to do it or anything, he'll go over one thing and that's it. And it seems like half of the stuff on the test he never even went over.
Mr. Habib is hilarious!! Sometimes he's hard to follow and a lot of things on the test, I swear he never when over in class. I enjoyed his class, but sometimes I had to teach myself. By the end, I realized you NEED to take notes to keep his train of thought clear or else you'll get lost. :)

Don't take this class if you're not a prep or good looking girl. Mr.Habib told a guy he needed to lose weight. And he doesn't curve grades at all. Even if the whole class fails. If you're looking for good explanations, you have to beg him to re-do a problem. Also his heckling seems funny at first, but at the end of the semester its just annoying.

He is a very devoted teacher but sometimes he can get behind and then move extremely fast. He is known to give take home tests on occasion, but even with these tests people will fail...overall he is a very sweet teacher and cares for his students.
At first he seems likehe will bea good teacer but as the class goes on you find that he doesn't like to repeat himself and gets very upset if you infer that he will be mad at you for asking him to repeat himself. Then he will get very mad and tell you he doesn't have time to go over the material again even if you didn't understand it the first time
He is so funny and he always made my day. You can tell that he really does care about his students and his job. He never forgets your face and will always say hello to you in the hallway. Stay focused in his class and you will do just fine!
Sure he seems great at first. Very engaging and kind. But as the semester goes on he seems to be more interested in flirting with students than helping them. Very confusing and gets off topic too much.
I was not excited to be taking Algebra early morning, but Mr. Habib is so good at what he does I ended up loving it.He really cares about his students learning. Mr. Habib is a great teacher, he makes jokes and keeps things light but he also shows you easier ways to do some problems, he always answers questions and reviews before tests. If you take notes and do the homework you will be golden if you need extra help he is always willing to help or get you set up with the right turor!
Habib is by far the worst teacher I've ever had. He does not explain the process of finding answers, but goes on rants about specific kind of problems and then gives you something completely different on the test. Be prepared to teach yourself or fail. He also loves interrupting tests and exams with stupid jokes, distracting the whole class.
He mostly jokes around. Do not ask questions because you will not get answers, he will just make you feel dumb. Plan on getting tutoring during the whole semester.
I actually enjoyed math before I had this class, he is so unclear. He is very smart but he cannot teach at all! I ended failing his class. If you ask questions be prepared to be insulted. Do not take his class!

For real the worst teacher I have ever had in my life. He is so annoying, and tries to pick on you for no reason! Hated that class. I did get a B in it only because I taught myself everything. DO NOT CHOOSE THIS TEACHER.
If you skip a class, you'll be way behind. He takes homework very seriously, it is a major part of your grade. Nice man but he often gets sidetracked with jokes or picking on a student. Moves very fast SO ASK QUESTIONS!!! Always available for office hours.

I recommend Mr. Habib to anyone needing MAT031/032. He is very thorough and adds just enough humor to be funny but not distracting. He makes sure you have the tools you need to succeed.
I absolutely hate math, but Mr. Habib made it interesting. He used real life scenarios to show where the math we were studying would be implemented. He likes to tell jokes and pick on people. If it happens to be you he's picking on, just throw it back at him and get in on it, he loves it.
This professor outside of teaching is humorous, compassionate and gives tutoring help to any in need. However, when in lecture and test mode, very lecture heavy and sometimes hard to understand. Tests are not similar to test reviews and added with harder equations and grading is very strict. It's his way or no way. Math strong point a must w/him!

Mr Habib is a excellent professor and gentlemen but if you dont learn MATH fast & math isnt one of your greatest subjects I wouldnt recommend you to him. You wouldnt learn problems the way you should b/c he goes on to something new everyday & he goes over problems fast. If you dont understand you would have to teach yourself or go to tutoring
