Really good teaching style keeps you involved and is very helpful. He also takes IMS 5200.
Very nice person; takes attendance every class. there is an assigned group presentation, only requires 1 or 2 speakers from each group to speak. Exams are not hard , he sends out answer keys along with questions to sample tests. Final is along the same lines...
He's very intelligent, but he's also very disorganized. His class lectures are somewhat interesting, and they're also kind of relevant to the exams. He gives reviews which cover about half the exam material. Overall he's pretty good.
He is the most unorganized instructor I have ever had.He assigned us with a newer version of the book and was using powerpoint from older edition this is how unorganized he is. He is not helpful at all takes him a week or more to reply back to e-mail or question. He has zero knowledge with WebCT so do not hope to get any reply back through WebCT.
I agree he is a little disorganize, But I learned a lot in his class. He has a very good teaching strategy. Also the guy is very Knowlegeable. I highly recomend him. By the way if you can find a better teacher for international business good luck because there are much worst ask your classmates.
Nice teacher with lots of stories to tell and good attitude. Really just wants students to participate in discussions. He is really unorganized and not very computer literate. The tests would be easy except he isn't good at making the mult choice. He tells you in advance which topics may be on the essays. 1 mini and 1 major group project
Very unorganized. If you take him, make sure that you check that all of your grades are correct. My final grade and project grade were incorrect. He will change them. Projects are easy and exams are not too bad. Just stay on top of your grades or he'll screw u over!
the best prof i have ever had, really knows his stuff and has great stories to tell. everyone at UTD should take a course with him!
made pretty dull material very interesting, also a really really nice guy. you should go check out his office hrs and he will crack you up with very funny and relevant stories
take this guy's class! you will not regret it. he is hilarious and a wonderful teacher. i don't get what other ppl were talking about on this site. they must just be disgruntled at a bad grade...
He is really easy but very unorganized. If you study his slides, you should be good for his tests. You don't really need the book. You have one group project, midterm, final, participation. Come to class when groups are presenting their case because he usually takes attendance. Pretty easy teacher overall. Interesting class.
Was very interesting and had so much knowledge about the world.
He is not easy and not hard just in the middle. If you go to class daily and allow him to know who you are by face you will do good on participation. There are lots of SURPRISES in his class you wont know where your quizzes will count but they aren't that bad. Study the slides for the exams. Do really well on the project and u should make an A.
I took this class with hope of understanding international business. The professor does not give a clear direction of what he wants us to do for homework and assignment and often does not have time to explain about slides and homework not covered in the textbook.
Habte Woldu used **** comments in class and decides on grades based on his impression of one and not effort or exams. He hid my test paper from me and kept reducing my grade on another paper to get me where he thought I should be. Classes were just story telling forums and he always deviated from the subject at hand.
I have to say..the professor is interesting and has a lot of experience in traveling around the world. Gets boring at times. Test and quizes do not really go along with class session. Professor is unorganized. Sometimes forgets to come to class and even forgets when the semester ends. Overall, not too bad and not too good.
Professor made the subject (Global Business) really interesting. NAFTA, CAFTA, European Union ..how they work what are the business strategies...He teach these things in a excellent way. I wished that this course should be of 3 credit hours. Somebody said that professor encourage lots of discussion in the class. Discussions are the soul of this cla
This is the teacher to take for Int'l Bus. There are pop quizzes, but he's flexible. Only one group project. Just read the chapters and you'll do fine on the tests. Great teacher!
If you are the type of student that expects the professor to spoon-feed you every topic on the powerpoint, he is not for you. His class is not hard but I think he values true intellect. The people that complain are those that have no interest in learning anything beyond what they need on an exam. People that have no original thought will struggle.
Fairly easy to understand, sometimes goes on tangents. Seems like the questions on exams are derived out of nothing. I attended every lecture, took notes during slides, highlighted in my book, and still did not do better than a C+ on exams. Did have fair grading/curve policies, though. Also, homework is reasonable.
Dr. Woldu was simply the best. He has been around the world and knows the suject. Tests are mostly straight forward... from slides. Text book is not needed, but I would get it to get a good grade. xxxxxx Also do not forget to take hs international trips. They are fun.... Africa and South America comming up!!!
IMS6365 - Cross Cultural Communications and Management is an awsome class! You will not look at the world in the same way after taking this class. And with Dr. Woldu teaching this class, it could not get any better! Dont miss any classes, follow his slides, and you will sure get an A. Dont forget his foreign study trips. They are educative and fun!
This class is hard and stupid. He doesnt require book in class, but u need to have one for preparing tests. All the questions in the exam are hard, and it seems u need to remember all everything in the book. His review for test is not helpful AT ALL. Questions are "everywhere" in the world. He didnt put all ur grade up, just the final grade.
Exams were a little challenging that were thought. You must read the chapters in order to do well on the exams. Project guidlines were very unclear
This was one of the hardest classes I have taken at UTD so far. The tests were very difficult and the project guidelines were very clear. You must read the textbook in order to pass the exams.
He is a nice professor. However, I was really confused on the grading. He never put up the project, attendance, or class work grades online. Tests were hard. The syllabus is confusing.
Must read the textbook to do good on the exams. questions on the exam are off the wall questions. one group project. our group had 11 people! allowed us to do a take home essay for the last two test after most people did horrible on the first test! made a b though somehow!
The topic is structure, he always ask students discuss the a lot, but it take the lecture time. So most of the lecture is in a rush and not really explain well. the 2 test is difficult to pass, plus too much group assignments and paper! Time consuming.
Easy class and sweet man. He works to make sure the students enjoy the class. You have to read the book to do well though.
I like his teaching skills and the real world experience.
Very unorganized, test questions cover almost none of the material discussed in class. They tend to be obscure questions that require memorizing the book. Extensive take-home "short" essays with at least 5 references... Do your grade a favor and please avoid.
He is a knowledgable person in his field, but unfavorable for a professor. He uploads things on eLearning in a very scattered format and changes the dates to all his assignments and tests because he does not go through the material fast enough. His class is easy, but be warned that he is very unorganized, and he doesn't post grades to eLearning.
Awesome course! Great guy! Smart Professor. Excellent slides! Uses textbook appropriately. Relevant projects. Grading very fair! Learned a lot! He has real world experience. I would recommend this course for anyone looking to become knowledgeable in worldly affairs! You have to do a lot of reading and work diligently on group projects! Enjoy!
Nice, very smart person in general. Can't teach effectively but he thinks he can. Disorganized.
Decent class although the tests were long and can be difficult if you don't use the right tools. Tests are based primarily if not entirely on the textbook material. Grade composition is a couple tests, group project, and some discussion. Group project wasn't bad at all.
Very knowledgeable
Vary unorganized professor. He did not lecture in class, all he did was story-telling. Tests are difficult and have nothing to do with the lecture. Please avoid taking this teacher if you really wanna learn something. It was totally a waste of time.
Extremely disorganized, he thinks he can teach but he really can't. He goes off on tangents every class and never talks about the actual material. He treats class like his personal story time. The wording on his assignments are confusing and vague. Do not take.
Good teacher. tests are purely from the textbooks -multiple choice (all of the above, two of the above, etc, so it's a little tricky) half of the test is a take home easy essay and a simple math question dealing with trade/ specialization. Offers tons of easy extra credit. And the avg of the quizzes over the CHs can be used in place of the final
You should have the textbook, and read thoroughly for midterm& final& 3quizes/A lot of homework/ overall not recommend
LOL love this guy! but hes hard and unclear when it comes to grades. I have no idea what I'm making in the class and I have already taken the final. When it comes to grades, he is very confusing.
He inspires students after they have failed Carraher's class. His class is easier to earn an A and as long as you read the book you'll be fine. I've heard that Carraher is easier to take a second time but with this class you won't need to do a research paper.
Type of professor that tests you on stuff in the book that you wouldn't think stands out. Roughly 4 chapters a test. YOU NEED THE BOOK. You have to read and make sure you read detailed stuff, the non bold stuff, is what he tests and quizzes on. HIs quiz questions do show up on his test though. Gives essays on top of exams as a part of the grade.
Habte is one of the laziest professors I've ever had. He doesn't communicate well with students and won't go out of his way to help anyone. He only teaches by reading the slides that come from the book, going to class is a waste of time. He also comes up with presentation grades arbitrarily. For someone making $230k a year he doesn't earn it.
Tests are entirely out of the book. Class time is mostly spent telling stories about his trips to foreign countries. Lectures are interesting but are not particularly helpful when studying for the tests. Interesting man, but is really not a good teacher. I would recommend taking this course with a different professor who has a better grade system.
If you read the chapters you should be fine. I feel like the tests were straight out of the book. He also assigns a group paper/project that isn't too bad as long as you get assigned to a decent group.
This guy is great! His lectures are interesting as he relates it to what is going on around us now. He really knows what he is talking about! His "quizzes" are hard so pay attention! Would recommend him!
Dr. Woldu makes an active effort to engage the class in discussions and ensure we understand why good cross-cultural communication matters. The exams are split 50/50 with an essay and multiple choice questions. Textbook isn't required to pass the class, but you might want to borrow someone's copy to read the short story for the "mini-case study"
He issues a lot of reading that has no bearing on exams or lectures, so don't bother. He outsources lots to his TA. Fails to answer questions in a timely way. Often has mistakes in schedule. Fails to appropriately grade group papers or respond to discussions and questions in a timely way.
Professor Woldu is a good choice for a professor. He is very knowledgeable and expects you to listen in class. He will call on you if you seem to be losing focus. Tests are difficult, you must read the book. His grading is very fair and he cares about students passing. If you fail his class, you just didn't try.
Ok professor. Be prepared for the test essays, they were not easy. Its an easy B if you put in some effort. Getting an A requires some work.
Professor Woldu is a great professor who cares deeply about students. If you take his class expect to learn a lot about Poland & Africa. He is one of 3 OSIM undergraduate faculty who is an active researcher and has a good Age Weighted Citation Rate. The higher the AWCR the greater value a prof can provide to students. Great Study Abroad leader
Study the PP's; knowledge from other classes (economics)makes the material easier. Tests not hard - try and master the concepts. Prof offers a different and interesting perspective on diff subjects. His communications can be confusing.
Participation in the discussion board matters. Usually has an extra credit discussion (+2 attendance points) over webinar. Two group projects that are fairly easy. Exams are almost straight from the textbook. Gives you 7-10 essay prompts before the exams, 2-3 will show up on the exam. Requires 3 outside sources on these essays.
He gives a lot of extra credit but does not explain what exactly he wants us to do. the lecture is ok. quiz and exam are hard. You need to read in order to pass his class. I will not recommend him.
Good lectures, but tends to explain extra details that are not relevant to the exams. needs to assign more homework. He's truly a life long expert in his field and its good to here from his perspective. It takes a deep curiosity in the subject and strong performances on the group projects/exams to make an A
Prof loves to lecture but beware exams are 85% textbook material & 15% lecture material. I made the mistake of not participating/answering questions in class and he took away a few participation points (class participation + attendance). Don't skip class - attendance matters and he remembers names/faces.
Love Prof Woldu's passion. He also really wants to interact w/ students & holds an optional extra credit call for discussion, which was fun. The material is not technical. Great course if you have a semester with heavy classes (like finance). Be mindful of the grading though- a smidge tougher than I thought. But overall I really enjoyed the class.
His tests are hard but he gives lots and lots of extra credit. This class is about memorizing and understanding so it doesnt matter which teacher you pick
Communication between him and the TA is terrible, never on the same page when it comes to announcements. You'll never know your actual grade til the end of the semester. Goes off topic a lot. lectures are boring. Gives lots of extra credit but unclear of the directions. The work isn't too bad I guess: group project, 2 exams, 2 graded quizzes
Prof Woldu is totally depended on his TA for grading. His TA is rude and not easily accessible. He will not post grades until the end of the semester and you will be clueless where you stand in class. He gives bonuses, but doesnt give clear instructions as to where the bonus points are allocated so extra credit is of no avail. STAY AWAY!
Professor Woldu's class consisted of 2 Tests, 2 Quizzes, 2 Homework's and a Group Project. His class was really interesting to me, just study the PowerPoint Slides and you should be fine for the Midterm and Final. In addition, he offers Extra Credit opportunities which were nice and they help out your grade a bit. He's a good professor.
There are a few discussion questions, 1 group paper and 2 exams. Exams are purely textbook based so you NEED to read. Final exams are 30 MC questions with essays. The essay topics are given beforehand--you have to write ALL 10 prompts although only 2 randomly generated ones show up on the exams. Making an A is achievable, just put in the work.
Very boring lectures that rarely related to the class itself. I didnt sign up for him but half way through, he came to take over the class and his criteria was confusing. Took points off from class work without clear reason why. Attempted to use all of class time but with unnecessary lectures.
He is the worst professor that ive had at utd. I emailed him 3 times because he messed up on my grade and he never changed it. He doesn't care about his students. DONT TAKE HIMMMMM
I enjoyed this class thoroughly. It was interesting to read about management in other countries and ways to lessen the cross cultural divide between nations. The grading criteria was clear and as long as you keep up with the work and offer good insight in the discussions, you will be fine. I would recommend taking this course with this professor.
He spent most of his time lecturing on his personal life rather than course content. A week before the final he decided to change the syllabus and give us an essay that was 30% of our final. He is a terrible professor. Easy class but take anyone else. He does not need to be teaching anymore.
He's definitely an interesting and cultured person, but the lectures were the complete opposite and kind of directionless. Attendance is a part of your grade, you get a group project, 2 multiple choice exams (midterm and final), 2 homeworks (1 is an essay), and another essay that's 30% of your final exam grade. Not horrible but take someone else.
I do not recommend taking Professor Woldu. He goes on tangents during his lectures making it hard to focus in class. In addition, he grades unreasonably- when the class had more students signed in than present, he stated that he would be stricter next time this happens and that he will deduct a point from everyone's grade.
He makes everything unnecessarily difficult. He cares more about attendance than actually teaching the class in a way that is interesting. He makes essays due the day of the exam- which was not even included in the syllabus, meaning he told us the prompts for the essays a few days before. So in addition to studying you also have to write essays.
DO NOT TAKE. His lectures are extremely hard to focus in, and he is completely unreasonable. We have two essays due on the day of our exam and were just recently told the prompts with little notice. He also decided to make the extra credit due the same day as the exam and essay- while saying he "doesn't want to put too much pressure on us".
Extremely terrible. Take someone else if you care about your GPA.
Everthing negative said about this man is an understatment. An example of this mans shenanigans is he makes you read 24 page analysis on currency devaluation for an attendace assignment.
Not as bad of a prof. as previous reviews are making him out to be. Lectures are boring but the syllabus is laid out well and you know when the due dates will be. Not many assignments either. 2 HWs, 2 Quizzes, 2 Tests, and a Group Project & Presentation. Decent class. Easy to pass with a solid grade.
Overall a nice dude & his class is not bad as the reviews make him seem. He gives you opportunities for extra credit, the syllabus is pretty clear & the TA responds quickly. 2 HWs, 2 Quizzes, 2 Tests and a Group Project. Just make sure to stay on top of your stuff bc the lectures are boring so its self study for tests (reccomend reading the book).
I wasn't a fan of his class as his lectures are irrelevant and do not prepare you for the exam. He doesn't cover the material in class so you have go to home and teach yourself 50+ slides per chapter to pass. Difficult class and he can be a tough grader. Nice professor but I felt ill-equipped for the exams. Take someone else if you can.
Mr Woldu is a guy you can learn a lot from. Don't lack in the class if you want to pass!!! Make sure you get a good group for your project and be prepared for long, hard exams.
To be fair, this was an online class for COVID. That said, he barely taught the material. Half of each class MINIMUM was spent going over case studies we aren't tested or graded on, so we only got through about half the real material. Plus, we don't get feedback on homework or quizzes, so if you miss stuff you're on your own guessing what happened.
If you want to have the opportunity to gain actual experience and get involved in international opportunities, this is the professor for you. Ask him about project initiatives and what you can do currently as a student. Class-wise, the exams were easy as long as you go over the slides/book. Group project, paper, pretty easy overall.
He's an okay professor. He's nice and definitely knows his stuff, but the content can get dry especially if you're not a global business major. I found his tests to be very difficult (he uses HonorLock too). He does give extra credit though, and that's what saved my grade. You definitely have to study and put in effort if you want to pass the exams
You can definitely get an A in this class if you put in the effort. Don't take the exams lightly. Study from the slides/notes and you should be good. Make sure to participate in class (you could get extra points). Overall, he does give a lot of extra credit, so that helps a lot. The quizzes, HW, and group project are not too bad.
I felt the syllabus could've been clearer. There's weekly discussions however you only have to participate in certain weeks, which was confusing to understand. There also were random discussions throughout the semester which counted for a grade but weren't mentioned in syllabus. I did like extra credit opportunities and felt exams were fair.
seriously dont listen to the other ratings. if you want ims to be the easiest it can be then take this dude. very lax and very nice guy
Professor Woldu is an amazing professor. My first year at UTD and this is the best IMS class ever. His lectures are fun and he's extremely funny. Group assignments are well explained and simple. You can follow lectures in class or online, attendance is taken with the Discussion board. Exams are online. Take his class, Don't Think Twice! Easy A
Talk with him about Ethiopia and how great it is and you can get an easy A. There is a world outside of Ethiopia and the class wasn't supposed to be about International Economics but International BUSINESS. There is a large difference.
Did not appreciate this class at all, the instructor puts very minimal effort into teaching. All the material is old and out-dated. He is not responsive to emails, when he does get back, it's a very short sentence. Shame is on UTD that they only offer this "core" class with this guy and no other options. You are stuck with having to take him anyway
I don't believe this man has put any effort into updating his teaching material since the turn of the century. His lecture slides are old as the founding fathers days. His tests are repugnant too, not a good instructor. This is was an online class so I can't speak for his personality, but teaching method in the online setting is old and dry.
Honestly dont take him, hes a nice guy but lectures are all over the place and makes it sound so boring. My entire class was confused during lectures and he noticed we were bored and threatened us by trying to assign an essay. Mans just petty tbh - literally dont take his class and dont listen to the good reviews.
AVOID HIM if not an IMS major. His lectures are all over the place, he puts 90% of the class to sleep. extremely petty and uncaring for students. Excessive readings, essay due ON exam day ("Extra credit" but actually 10% of exam??) Random attendance - threatens to assign those present more work if others don't show up like?? Save yourself and run.
2 quizzes,1 group project,& 2 exams which are taken in class(No lockdown browser/honor lock required but can only be taken in class due to password and sign-in/out sheet. Attendance isn't mandatory, but hedoes have a sign-in sheet for each class. I only attended a few classes all semester & got a C+ that could've been higher, but didn't care to tbh
1 big group project presentation and paper its lots of work but he graded VERY easy for everyone, his lectures are very boring but both midterm & final were no honor lock & in classroom, he wasn't clear on what was extra credit essay vs. exam essay but if u do everything he grades VERY easy, checks attendance daily, confusing but again EASY GRADER
We are just starting the semester, and I already dislike this professor. As another student mentioned, the exams are in the testing center despite the syllabus saying otherwise. He is NOT clear in communicating when assignments are due. His lecture is insanely BORING and not engaging at all. Do not take him if you like engagement.
Be sure to attend class and take advantage of any extra credit. He is an amazing professor with lots of knowledge on the subject. Lectures were always engaging, pay attention as he would often ask questions to those who got distracted. He says the textbook is required but going through his slides and attending class is all I would recommend.
Professor Woldu is extremely knowledgeable in this field, and even integrates some of his research findings into the course material. For me, reading the textbook and watching his lectures were key to my success in this course. In addition, participation in the discussions and group project are vital to receiving a good grade.
If you ever need to email this professor or even TA, be prepared for them NEVER to respond. The exams were okay, based mainly on the textbook and a few lectures. Graded by a few discussions and a group paper. Wish the material was updated to more recent times because the topic is very interesting. The exams are mostly T/F, MC, and two essay q's.
His lectures have little direction and he will often talk about whatever he wants. However, he grades somewhat nicely and offers tons of extra credit in the form of papers or reading books and presenting them to the class. There are group projects that basically get the students to teach the material to the class. Talk to him about study abroad!
He is OK. His lectures are not based on the material, so read the textbook and slides. There are 2 quizzes, 1 HW assignment, 1 group project, 2 exams, and other assignments. The project is rather large with a paper and a presentation, and the exams also require papers. He does provide a lot of extra credit. Attendance and participation are graded.
His lectures don't follow the material correctly. He tends to go off-subject very often and skips around his slides. If you want to do well in the class, read the textbook. His lecture slides are also confusing. Wouldn't recommend taking him.
Prof Woldu is a very interesting person, but I would never take him for a class again. Some days he will go over the material. Other days, he goes off on random tangents and we never get back to subject. He will also always go over time and get annoyed when you tell him. Do not reccomend it.
I took this professor, my experience with him wasn't so great reason being he is a tough grader, even on the easy assignments, he grades hard on them. He kinda shows favoritism towards few students. Has 2 quizzes, which he takes in class with a TA.
Disorganized, boring, and no direction to the class. The slides are filled with grammatical mistakes and completely nonsensical things (specific dimensions for packages in an exporting and importing unit?) and are better than being in lectures. The lectures will have 5 min of direction and go off the rails. Bad bad class, do not take it.
His lectures rarely pertain to the topic at hand and if they do, it's probably more fun watching paint dry. Attendance is mandatory, so you have to go to class.
The class has very little direction and structure. The slides are lengthy & filled with information that is not useful at all for tests, quizzes, & papers. I gather that he just loves the sound of his voice because nothing he says actually matters in class, but he'll force you to go by making attendance mandatory. Take another professor if you can.
Runaway from this class, all the bad reviews are bad for a reason please listen unlike me who decided to take this class since everything else was full. now my gpa is ruined and when asked for explanation for my grade it was just silence. would rather walk through Antarctica with no clothes on then take this class again.
I enjoyed the class, wasnt my favorite ever at UTD, but i enjoyed listening to Professor Woldu's lectures. He does try and engage with the class by asking questions. For the midterms its a test and an essay, i feel like with very minimal effort I was able to get a perfect score on the essays, the multiple choice sections were a bit tough.
He is okay; he is just not very concise. Luckily, the course material is mostly common sense; you can reason through most of it. His slides have a lot of irrelevant info, and he goes off on tangents, so it is hard to decipher what to study for tests. Attendance is mandatory, but I never went as it felt like a waste of time, and just self-taught.
He's nice. However, I do not recommend him for this course. His lectures are all over the place, and he may go off on tangents unrelated to the material. It could take a few lectures to finish one chapter. You need to read the textbook to understand the material, otherwise it's hard to pass. He does offer extra credit opportunities.
WORST at UTD, His TA tries to help , and his exams are so trash allows one HANDWRITTEN CHEAT SHEET TO THE TESTING CENTER and his lectures are just nonsense he does offer extra credit for somethings and requires attendance one group project and 2 exams which are super hard.
Despite Woldu being a nice guy and offering extra credit, please avoid him. His slides are disorganized and confusing, he goes off on tangets in class, he randomly changes the syllabus when he wants to, and he lacks communication with his students. Students are constantly confused in class. This class is incredibly frustrating and not worth it!
Sign up for Woldu and you'll see what everyone is talking about by the end of syllabus week (if he even explains it). He couldn't make it one slide before going off on a tangent that was COMPLETELY unrelated to *learning* chapter material. He makes real world connections from the sounds of it, but not concise at all.
Woldu is a nice guy but he barely teaches anything that pertains to the exams/quizzes. The exams are pretty hard with questions about random facts from the textbook. Thankfully, he gives lots of extra credit. Attendance is 5% if grade so you kinda have to go to class. Overall not a great professor.
First time having to write a review for a professor. AVOID this professor if you're able to. Nice guy and does offer extra credit but he CANNOT teach at all. He'll start a lecture and then 5 minutes later go on a tangent about some personal experience or how we should all go overseas. Tests are somewhat hard allowed cheat sheet, but HAND WRITTEN
all of the good ratings are fake
This guy is just not focused on teaching. He goes on long rants about why you should study abroad and desperately tries to promote his failing international business program. His class consists of projects on which he gives zero guidance. His lectures are nearly impossible to understand, and quite frankly, he needs to have his contract terminated.
Good professor. Lectures may be a bit boring but the material is what matters the most and International Marketing is an incredible course to take. Highly recommend if you want to learn more or you are majoring in a related field.
Woldu is a nice professor, but his teaching style can be hit-or-miss. Lectures often veer off-topic, making it hard to focus on the material. Fortunately, the textbook and Unstuckstudy were helpful for prep and understanding the concepts.
Definitely overhated as a professor, lecture was boring but he's super understanding and genuinely cares for his students and has a passion in for this. Class really isn't that hard and everything you need to know is in the slides he provides. He also curves the exam scores and tells us a bunch of stories and is funny imo
This guy wont stop talking. There's one group project that's a big part of your grade, so try to get it done early because he starts grading harsher and harsher as time goes on. Get ready for him to interrupt you after he asks you a question. Slides are also misorganized.
attendance hit mandatory for not reason cuz he just yapps on irrelevant topic, there will always be 1 student who wants do an seminar and show interest and this is basically a whole 3 h lecture ends up being. and SO harsh at grading ?? extra credit is only if u wanna do additional presentation other than the group project. dont take him
Overhated. He's a professional yapper for sure cuz most of his lectures are irrelevant topics to the syllabus. Eventually, you need to read the book yourself to pass in the exams. Really boring lectures but he's like an old wise man. So he cares for you, will help you out and is genuinely knowledgeable and interested, just you WILL sleep in class
He is very sweet. He allows cheat sheets for the exams so that helps a lot even though I have no idea what he is talking about in class:)) The class was boring but I didn't mind honestly. Just go to class and you'll be fine.
He's fine lectures are long winded doesn't go over necessary information. TA does a lot of the work. Attendance is mandatory he will count number of students in each row, how many signed in. Exams are in class on learning very easy One mandatory group project Does not allow talking Pop quizzes only allows credit received if you have your own paper
Overall not a bad professor. Goes on a lot of tangents so it's hard to focus on lecture material. Also isn't the best at responding to emails. Also very late on grading a lot of assignments.
