Excellent Math Professor! Explains material in detail. Assigns homework and gives quizzes, which account for points toward your final grade. My only regret is that she is not teaching MAT1033 I would have taken her again in a heartbeat. To sum it up I highly recommend her.

she is a very good teacher if u get to know her. you have to pay attention and attend every class. but shes very helpful and she is always in the lab.

I believe Halina is a Great Professor. She really cares about the students; gives homework, which she later corrects, gives you tests, which you can also correct and get additional points for. In addition, she spends a lot of time in the lab, if you need additional help. She has a charming accent and a great smile!

She doesnt seem like the easiest teacher, but is. if you do the homework, the quiz is the exact same thing, so is the test.she reviews everything, so you should have no problem passing.and btw, dont judge on appearances,she is very nice!

She is a good teacher...she explains really good and clear...she explains step by step...i never studied for her exams and i got an A...the trick is in taking atention to the class...but for what ive seen in her class...the students want everything easy and just want to pass the course...they dont want to learn anything thats why they hate the prof

Excellent teacher. Personally I don't care what a teacher looks like. She is very patient and has lots of office hours and some lab. If you work hard she will work hard but she won't baby adults. I have difficulty in math and have done very well in both of her classes. Best math teacher I've ever had.

I'm shocked at all the nasty stuff written about this professor. I had no difficulty understanding her language. I'm not too concerned with my professor's appearance. I found her to be a very effective and clear professor. The class does involve a lot of work, but it's math, what would you expect?

Math is a tough subject but she's not as bad as a lot of these reviews sound. I'm not a good math student AT ALL but she was helpful! Not an easy class to sail through

She is an excellent teacher. You will have to do the HW and you need to study in order to pass. The retarded students are the ones who had to resort to her accent and appearance as their excuse for a failing grade. You have to EARN your grade in the class. Other than that, she's a very nice professor who HELPS you and she speaks proper english.

As a person starting at beginning algebra she is an ok teacher. Her accent is fairly heavy but understandable. She sometimes speeds through a section leaving many people cluless

A 6-wk stats class is NOT easy. She was always available to help during office hours and on Saturdays. The negative comments below are from students who do not want to work for their grade.

She apparently has a tendency to scare people away, we started with like 21 people and are down to 4. I think she is a good teacher and as far as math goes, fun. She will always stop the class to help people out and is very playful and nice to everybody. I have absolutely no problems with her.

I had her at NOVA. When I had her I complained like crazy. But not that I moved on to other math teachers, I wish I could have her back. She was always open for help and made sure her point was across. Very good :)

She will stop the class to make sure you understand the material. Simplifies everything, somethings a bit too much. She's great.

I'm currently a tutor . What I love what I learned from her . She is great!!!. She proved everything for us to make the formular easy to understand ! If you love math and love to challenges yourself , take her . She is very helpful to explain things you don't understand .

she has a very heavy polish accent; sit in the front of the class and you should be fine. She explaines alot, will stop just to make sure that you understand. very nice person.

Ms.Adamska is the absolute best math professor I've ever had. Even though her quizzes can be a bit challenging, she explains EVERYTHING in detail through out the class. If you want to pass, pay attention and learn the concepts, don't just expect to breeze through. It's your responsibility.

Perfect teacher for graduate, students. Yeah, she knows a lot, but college students don't have all the knowledge she expect us to have. You will have an overload of homework, basically all chapters exercides plus webassign which is extracredit. You will have lots of proofs in the tests and no calculators allowed. Good luck. She is hardcore.

She was a gret prof. I found it easy to learn the subject matter from her. She was very fair and worked with you if eeded. As long s you show true effort and willingness to learn she will be happy to help you out. Showing up for each class and participating was key for me and should be for someone taking her class. Overall, an excelent teacher.

350 words can't begin to describe the benefit of taking Dr. Adamska for math. She teaches you to think plain and simple. Passing Broward college is one thing, but surviving a University is another and the problem solving skills I gained from her teaching have been invaluable in any mathematic or scientific endeavor since.

Halina is the best math teacher I've ever had. Everyone who rates her poorly here does her a disservice. She painstakingly goes through every concept and answers every question. All you have to do is pay attention and practice and you will do well. If you're an idiot, don't take her. But if you don't love math in the first place, why take calculus?

I took her for calc 2 and differential equations, She has always been straight to the point, an interesting about her is that she doesn't use calculators. She'll put just as much work as you do to help you pass . At the end of her class take what she says seriously and you will be more disciplined in mathematics and life.

She is the hardest professor I have ever taken. I remember solving almost every problem in the book just to get an 80% on my test. The good part is that she let us take each test home after being graded to re do them and turn them in for extra credit. I am so grateful for having the chance to have her as my professor, made me disciplined in math.
