She's the best physics professor in the whole university!! She explains well, and people understand well what's going on.

She has a thick accent, but that is her only fault. Otherwise she is the nicest most helpful teacher you could ask for. If you get stuck, she will even do the problem for you. You cannot ask for a better professor.

The accent is thick but if you really make an effort in 1 week you will understand. She is my favorite and in my opinion the best teacher at njit, she would look at me in recitation and know that i don't understand and teach it to me right on the spot. A+

I am actually a student taking her husband's course right now. However, There are much more reasons I love Mrs Ophycal..She helps you a lot. Even if you are a dumb who needs a lot of help, She will be always there for you.. I love her workshop class.

Great teacher. Once you get over the accent and focus for a bit, you'll understand what she's saying. She knows her stuff and she'll explain whatever is needed. Highly recommended!

Halina is the PHYSICS machine, she knows what she is talking about, gives you the information that you need and helps you out even outside a classroom setting. Go to her review sessions...she basically talks about what's on the exam. EXCELLENT PROFESSOR.

Halina is a great Physics professor. She might be a little hard to understand at times, but it's nothing you can't deal with. Go to her review sessions (they tell you what to expect), do your homework, study and you'll receive a good grade.

Halina is a very good professor. She's very helpful, and she doesn't hesitate to answer your questions. She reviews all of the problems in class a couple times so we have a good understanding of the material. Also she's a very nice person!

Just do all the homework and go to the review sessions and you'll be fine.

She is the one professor at NJIT that I truly enjoyed and respected. I'm not a physics major, I don't enjoy physics at all. She's genuine and cares about all students, from the ones like me to the physics lovers. I am really shocked to see 1 negative rating on here. You will not find another professor at njit as caring and understand as her period.

Brilliant woman. The first few classes with her took a bit getting used to (difficulty with her handwriting and speech, but after a talk with her, everything was fine). I truly, truly hate Physics, but she's made it more tolerable. If you have trouble with accents, don't take her, but her accent really isn't all that bad.

One of the best professors at NJIT. She knows what she is doing and teaches the material well. You can go to her office for extra help. She holds review sessions in her free time before the exam. The class is a super easy A if you took physics in high school or if you go to class, do your hw, and ask her questions about what you don't understand.

She is adorable. Has a habit of saying "yes, yes" a lot. She is extremely helpful. Will sacrafice an arm and leg to help you out. Her accent is very thick but makes up for it by being very professional.

The BEST of all the NJIT Physics professors. Very straightforward lectures, gives you solutions to hw problems in recitation, teaches what you need to know for the exam. Review sessions are great, she drops hints about the test questions and what you need to know throughout. Great lady!

I took her because I was pleased with her in PHYS 111. She will really go through all measures to see her students succeed. Also it seems like she never makes a mistake when it comes to examples, which is pretty impressive. She is just a smart woman overall.

So nice and very helpful. Physics 2 is a tough subject, but with her, she makes it reasonable. Just do the webassign, and your set to pass. And go to her if you need help, she will give you her time and patience.

She is my favorite professor so far at NJIT for sure. She will go the extra mile to help you understand something if you don't get it you just need to ask. You can tell that she thoroughly knows her stuff. She does have an accent but it's nothing that isn't hard to understand. She has a tendency to always say "yes this is what!" its adorable lol.

I would totally recommend her as your Professor. If you need clarificationon any topic she will stay with you after class to go over it.

She is a nice professor. You'll need to show up because missing one class sets you back a lot. She'll teach slow if you participate but if the entire class is quiet she goes a mile a minute. I needed to pass but wasn't doing well went to her office hours once a week for like 45min and we did hw together. Made it out with C+ just work your butt off.

This class is graded mostly (80%) on exams; the rest is homework and participation. Professor Opyrchal has a bit of an accent, but once you get used to it, it's manageable. She'll answer your questions and give you review sessions outside of class and practice exams. Subject matter is pretty dry, but she's definitely a solid professor.

Professor Halina is sooo awesome, she is accessible out of class almost anytime, she is able to meet whenever and when you do meet with her, she is SO helpful. If you don't understand something, go to her. SHE HELPS AND TEACHES YOU SO WELL ONE ON ONE.

So this course materials science is a dry course. Nothing fun about learning phase diagrams and what have you. The lectures seem to be fast paced but how else can she fit 16-17 chapters a semester? She's always available during her office hours. Anything greater than an 80 is an A. Thick accent but can be understood you just have to be attentive.

Dr. Opyrchal is extremely accessible and overall a wonderful professor! She spends time helping students one-on-one,all you have to do is ask, and she will walk you through it until you understand completely. Final grade rounding also is pretty generous. Make every attempt to take courses with her-she is a gem!

Just study the powerpoints and practice exams she gives you and you will get an A in every common. Super easy and kind professor, willing to help you even answer your questions during exams! She wants you to pass, TAKE HER if you can

She's a bit hard to understand sometimes but is extremely nice and is always willing to help anybody who asks for it. She explains content well (despite her losing track every now and then). If you pay attention in class, you'll learn from her. She also posts her notes on Canvas which is always helpful

I found it better to just review the lecture on my own time and own my own pace because she is a little fast paced. Do the Pearson Homework for an easy boost to your grade. Semi weekly quizzes on canvas for each chapter/sections that you go through. Test are multiple choice just study up and know how to apply the formula given to you.

She's a very nice and caring teacher, she will do her best to help you during lecture quizzes or exams. She is a little hard to understand in lectures but you can ask her questions. The class itself is hard but you'll be able to understand if you study. The lectures are uploaded on canvas and they may go a bit fast.

when in doubt ask her...she will probably do the problem for you. little hard understanding her at times, but she likes what she does and it shows

Wow....the best teacher I ever had for physics. She is with no doubt an easy teacher, and very helpful when you need it. Sometimes her accent makes it alittle hard to understand her but you should be able to pass her class with a B if not an A. Good Luck guys!!

Great teacher. Go to her for help and she will "bend over backwards" for you. Don't be scared to ask for help during exams either, she will practically solve problems for you sometimes!

Great Prof. one of the better teachers at NJIT. Take her if you want a proffesor who cares about you learning.

Extremely energetic and passionate about what she was teaching, the only thing is that she had a HEAVY accent. It made it hard to understand her sometimes, but she will keep repeating things until you get it. I'm putting attendance isn't mandatory because you can come in, sign the paper, then leave, and she didn't care.
