Not a great teacher. Knows what she's talking about, but doesn't convey it very effectively. Reviews don't reflect tests particularly well. She tries hard, though, so that gets points.
Very bad teacher. Can't understand what the hell she was saying half of the time. Doesn't go over homework or review before tests. Can't believe she is allowed to teach.
her accent makes it hard to understand but she knows what she teaches and she will make time to help those who need it
very touch and sometimes hard to understand but a great teacher nonetheless. Highly recommended if you actually want to learn and go on to higher education.
Her accent is not that hard to understand. She gives you 10 points extra Credit if you do her HW. Mr. Jess Kauffman is a pretty cool teacher as well...
she was not good. she acted like she didnt want to help you, I usally ended up going to one of the tutors for help.
She is a very nice teacher and is very helpful with students. Sometimes unclear in lecture but is VERY helpful otherwise.
Does not have an effective teaching style. Despite going to every class and doing all the homework I got a C- which will not transfer out of WCC so I was forced to take the class again. A huge waste of several hundred dollars. Take 176 with Jim Egan-he is an awesome instructor and now I have an A.
she is really bad teacher. She try to give evryone " A" in her class.she give answer of quiz during quiz. She is really not a good teacher for hardworker.
Very nice, very willing to help, as long as you take at least some notes, the tests are relatively easy.
Her accent is very heavy and she talks really fast. If you don't read the textbook at all you will have a very hard time in this course. She covers two sections per class so it's not terribly quick paced, but if you have trouble understanding the material she covers in class you need to study twice as much.
Mrs. Wahab is an awesome teacher! I've taken a bunch of classes w/ her and shes more than fair. Shes tough when it comes to cheating in her class and she wont tolerate it at any expense. She gives in class assignments so you learn during the class not when you get home. Shes patient, caring, lol but its kinda like having your mom with you. She ROCK
I think Mrs. Wahab is a great teacher... True she tries to give everyone and "A" but thats b/c they deserve it. If you are failing her class she will try and help you out, so basically she tries to give people who are failing a "C" in her class so that they can move on to higher and better levels... AND NO SHE DOESN'T GIVE ANSWERS DURING A TEST/QUI
Class was easy. Shes down to earth lady, understood everything she said, took it all in and now im exceeding in higher Math courses such as MTH 191 & 192. Let me tell you all something, if you dont read your books, don't do the HW and when the test comes your mind goes blank, then your not gana ever pass class, you need to do your part as a student
tries to help all students pass, but not really cut out for teaching. Class asked her to slow down and she told us we were being unfair to her asking her to slow down. Kind of bossy (or if you prefer no nonsense) best to go to every class and keep up on homework
Very helpful and nice. But you do have to do the HW its a good % of your grade. She's not bossy, she cares. She goes at a moderate pace. Always at her office during her office hours, doesn't mind asking her questions over and over again. She just wants you to understand whats going on in her class. You'll do good in her class, don't worry.
Mrs. Wahab is a good professor. If you want to learn something then take her for a class.
She is great. Nice lady, gets to business. Wants you to succeed and she even writes happy faces on your papers lol. Just do the work, and review a little, you'll do perfect!
If you are not good at math to begin with, I wouldn't recommend this teacher. She doesn't really explain how to do problems-instead she just does the problem on the board quickly, not really explaining the "why's" and "how's" of it all.Very nice person, but not a great teacher.
Let me simplify it for you: Easy, Helpful, Cares about your grade, Explains, Doesn't mind if you “bombard” her with questions, at her office 24/7... Yet with all this make sure you do your part with studying... Things wont come to you with flying colors unless your willing to catch it!
Very friendly, and helpful, I especially like the pre-test the class before the test. It helps soooo much to prepare for the test. The homework is all clearly given, and directly relates to the problems you will be needing to solve on your test.Very fair, just work hard, math is not a slacker's course. And ps.(she's got a cute sense of humor too)
Class was easy. She has a heavy accent, so if you don't like teachers with accents, don't take her class. She offers a whole page of extra credit on each exam.
She makes it difficult for you to want to ask questions. Spends the whole class lecturing and doesn't leave much time for questions or to get help. Answers are very short. The tests/exams are not setup very well. They are pushed all togehter rather than making them into smaller sections which would be easier.
Whatever you do, do not take Wahab. If you are not naturally good at math, forget being able to learn from her.
Great teacher...extremely nice and tests are set up so you cant fail them unless you really try to. I would give her a 10/10.
If you actually want to learn something, don't take this professor. She is very rude, doesn't know how to explain how to do the problems. If you ask questions - I guarantee they will not be answered. We were instructed this week that it is our responsibility to make sure we understand how to do the work, not hers.
Very difficult to understand and couldn't keep up-College Alegbra
Very Straight forward class. As long as you do the work, it's a breeze. Just attend class and do all the in class assignments for an easy grade booster. Would take her class again
This teacher was very dependent apon the book. Thye lectures are not neccessary inorder to pass the class. all a student needs is to due the in class assignments. the class has wavering difficultie, easy at one point and hard the next. Tests are fairly simple. Easy way to get a good grade
Very Easy, but kind of rude. Very pushy. She wants you to do good though, easy to understand
She truly cares about her students understanding in the class. I was very skeptical going into her class after reading some of the comments on this site. It was my first college math class, at first I struggled to understand her she has a thick accent, very structured class lays everything out on the table, I enjoyed her, truly cared about students.
Mrs.Wahab was the most helpful instructor that I have had. She knows math very well and is willing to give extra help if needed. Great positive attitude.Made math fun and easy to learn. Give this instructor a chance you will be glad that you did.
Math is not a slacker's subject, so expect work with any prof. Mrs. Wahab is a great prof, funny, clear, gives MANY opportunities for extra credit. She instilled in me many good practices for education that I use in all of my classes, like doing the homework BEFORE the lecture, that way the lecture is clearer. You'll ask more meaningful questions.
Great teacher! wants all students to succeed. Willing to help you out extra during her office hours.
Very nice teacher. Slightly difficult to understand at the beginning with her accent, but after the first class you get used to it. She is more than willing to help you with anything regarding her class and will go out of her way to make sure you succeed. Great Teacher!!
I've had Mrs. Wahab for two math classes and I can't believe some of the things people write about her. I was anxious about taking Math after being out of school for a number of years. I actually was about to drop the class, but she convinced me to stick with it. She really cares, put the effort in, you'll definitely succeed! She's one of the best!
HORRIBLE TEACHER! She teaches entirely too fast, and when you ask for help she tells the students in the class to help you. If you're looking for someone who cares, then Ms. Wahab is not the person!
Mrs.Wahab is a very nice person & a little silly, which I personally enjoyed. She always helped me when I was in need of clarification but my rating may be skewed because math is my best subject so I didn't need much help other than reading the lesson beforehand then going to class to listen to lecture. Her teaching style is effective & she's nice!
She is very nice and likes to make kind of silly jokes which I appreciate. But overall as a teacher, she goes way too fast in my opinion. She expects the class to work together and figure everything out on their own during class work time. She isn't horrible to have but if you have a choice, take someone else
Professor Wahab was fantastic! I had no interest in math whatsoever before this course; however, I passed this course with flying colors! Professor Wahab has a clear syllabus given the first day of class and sticks to it. She presents organized powerpoints and always makes you feel free to ask questions. I would recommend her to anyone!
TERRIBLE! Do NOT take this class if you aren't socially outgoing and willing to teach yourself out of book. She doesn't help you at all. After her quick lecture, she sits down at her desk and tells us to get into groups and work together to learn the concepts. When asked directly for something she seems annoyed and tells us to go work with someone.
Amazing teacher, she has an accent which can be hard to get around because it is very thick, however she is willing to go blue in the face to make sure you get the point. you do have a quick lecture then the rest is group work where you do most of the learning. It forces you to learn how to interact with others. Tests are straight to the point.
she was hard to understand. talk to fast
Professor Wahab IS EASY TO UNDERSTAND! I almost didn't take her class because the other reviews say that she has a thick accent. She has an accent but i can understand her just as well as anyone else! She is helpful and nice. The only thing i didn't like about her class was she made us do group work. Also, DON'T BUY THE TEXTBOOK!!!!!
If you are a sociable person that learns well with others, this will be a great class for you. If you need a teacher to teach you the material, instead of learning it from your classmates, find a different teacher. Also, don't ask her for help, she will pawn you off on a classmate and make them teach you. Nice person, but horrible teacher.
Professor Wahab is a great teacher :))) she's willing to help and encourages to ask Qs!!! She wants to make sure we understand the material to excel into higher courses not just pass the class... Totes recommend her especially if you hate math!
Very good teacher I have been in 2 of her classes an will be going onter a 3rd with her.
She comes off really rude, and whenever you ask her to help you with a problem she just kind of waves you away and tells you to work with another student. She also has a really thick accent, which is sometimes hard to understand. She has just been really rude to me, even though I am polite to her. She's just not a good teacher all around.
I personally liked her she was very nice & laid back. Yes she has an accent but I never found it to be a problem. She answered questions, in my opinion, clearly and encouraged everyone to succeed. I am surprised she doesn't have a higher score I really enjoyed the class.
Easy if you took algebra in high school. She wasn't very helpful. If you need help she'll tell you to ask your classmates. Homework wasn't bad.
Hanan Wahab is hands down the worst math teacher I've ever taken. She talks too fast and has a heavy accent. When you ask a question she gives a short answer then moves on. At the end of every lecture the people around me and i wondered what we had just learned. I had to teach myself out of the book after she lectured. Worst math teacher at wcc.
had an accent but it wasnt a problem at all, would take another class with her again DO NOT BUY THE TEXT book just buy the online access code.
DON'T BUY THE TEXTBOOK!!! Easy class, but I would never take a class with her again! She makes rude remarks and always lectures about cell phones and talking. Takes her an hour to teach one lesson when I could get the class work done in 15 minutes.
She gives assignments for each class period that she grades for accuracy. While it added a lot of pressure, the assignments really helped when studying. She would give a review for each test that had exactly what you would need to know. The only thing I didn't like was the online hw that took forever.
She's actually nice and a cool teacher, but she can be irrational. Once she was lecturing and she didn't want any of us to take notes. She even snatched people's pencil's away if they did! She done the same with cellphones (or "distraction devices"). Other than that and the fact that she won't show our grades in blackboard, she is alright.
You can't whisper to the person next to you about the math problem otherwise she'll stop the lecture or she'll tell you to be quiet. She's one of those teachers that's not so great on explaining the lectures. She really doesn't get into details. If she sees you on your phone during class, she will come up to you and tell you to give her your cell
Hanan Wahab was an alright teacher. I would not really recommend her to anyone else. She uses WebAssign for homework, but it's not too bad. Her in class assignments can take forever especially if you wait until the end of her long lectures to start. I did alright by doing the assignments while I waited for her to stop talking.
Please do not take her unless you enjoy teaching yourself the entire semester. Nothing is ever explained fully, she gives you an in class assignment every day and thats how she teaches. Hanan only does a few problems and expects you to learn the rest on your own. I highly recommend students not to take her.
Hanah Wahab is a great Math teacher compared to some of the other ones I have had in the past. She gives in-class homework during the lecture. If you can complete these assignments you will do fine in her class.
Professor Wahab missed about 40% of my semester and assigned a substitute professor. He didn't even understand her notes. You are given an in class worksheet everyday and they are long. Her lectures are confusing. I felt like I was in high school with the way she treats you. She demands to be respected but does not earn it. VERY DISSAPOINTED
I would not recommend Hanan. Although she can be nice, she will make a big scene if someone has a phone out which gets annoying. She fills her lectures with things that aren't on tests so its up to you to decipher what you need to learn. Personally, webassign taught me better & helped me pass tests. In-class work is easy, but buy a textbook.
She is an amazing teacher. I would take her class again in a heartbeat. Always willing to help, even if you've asked the same question 15 times. Lectures are clear and concise with lots of practical application. And she always has good things to say to build up each student. Goes above and beyond in every way.
She is not there to carry those who aren't ready for the material. plain and simple. If you want a direct instructor who tells you what to do to succeed and then grades you accordingly without any frills then she is a good choice.
Horrible instructor, avoid avoid AVOID at all costs.
A wonderful professor! She has an accent, but is still understandable, and she's very kind and willing to work with you for as long as you need to understand a concept. No slacking in this class, but if you thought pre-calc was going to permit slacking anyways, you don't know math.
One of the best at WCC. I learned a lot. I don't like math but she made it so much easier and understandable. We had in-class assignments every day and they were the exact same questions she had taught in class. Take good notes and you will get an EASY A. Highly recommended ! PS: She gets upset if you don't pay attention during her lectures though
This was the worst professor I have ever had, in class we have to complete a packet of work before leaving each class, you at least have 180 at the least homework questions per chapter, she grades very hard, She will call you out on the middle of class, she has a bad attitude all the time, and she gives out 6-7 test.
Mrs. Wahab is very understanding and gives students plenty of easy opportunities to boost their grades such as online homework and in class assignments. She has a tendency to go really fast during lectures so be sure to read the section ahead of time (she warns you about this at the beginning of the semester).
Hanan was an alright teacher, the reason why I did so well was because I took trig before precalc, and a lot of it was the same content. Her tests were pretty easy. We had WebAssign for homework and that was annoying. Overall, she was fine.
Awesome Professor! Very straightforward and easy to follow. She has a ban on laptops during lecture, and will ask you to leave that class period if she sees you using one. She also gives "homework" to be done in-class at the end of every class, and you need to have a book to pull the problems from (ebook comes with Webassign access-just buy a code)
This professor is by far the worst professor I have ever had. She's all over the place, treats everyone in the class like middle schoolers, and never seems to make any sense
Great teacher. Explained all of the concepts very clearly, and because of that, I had no trouble getting an A in her class.
She usually spent an hour giving the lecture then the rest of the time was our's to finish the in-class assignment (you can work on it during the lecture). Homework for each section was on WebAssign. Tests were short, but worth a lot of points and done in-class (she lets you use a note card). She cares about you succeeding & was always so helpful!
Easy class. Ms. Wahab really knows how to prepare students for her tests.
she has an accent though is understandable. make sure you have a basic understanding of the material and you will do well, she gives lectures and an in class assignments every day. she shows different ways to do problems and trys to make sure everyone understands. class was difficult but she helps you when she can and is a good teacher. recomended.
Pretty chill teacher. She's very clear about how what will be on the exams, so as long as you study, you'll get an A
Great professor! Shes always helpful and lets you know shes available! Its rare to find a professor who can both teach and cares. And
She was very clear about her expectations on the 1st day of class- no electronics and will not hesitate to chastise the person caught using one. I'm not a math person and got my 1st ever A in a math class. She is willing to make sure everyone can pass with an A. I will be taking classes with her in the future. Great teacher! Gives extra credit!
Great teacher for math 180. Clear lectures and tests. Would take again!
Willing to go over things until you get it. The lectures do go by quickly because there's so much material to cover so I went over each topic before the next class so I could follow along without being overwhelmed. The hw was on connect math and you could practice as much as you want. Her review sheets were just like the tests. Very kind and funny.
Really nice and caring. She is available to help at any time, however, she may go a little fast it's nothing new when it comes to math. You should get an A if you do the homework, class assignments (helps with), and test reviews.
Mrs. Wahab was a phenomenal teacher - explained all of the concepts clearly and concisely and reignited my love for math. I'm taking her again next semester, and I can't wait.
She teaches really fast and the notes that she jots on the board are unorganized and all over the place. She is patient with some and not with others when helping with course work. Read the material before you come to class and always stay a step ahead of her or you will be lost, especially if you didn't have trig before this class.
Outstanding. She became my teacher after the original teacher left halfway through the semester on medical leave. My grade has already skyrocketed. She gives study guides showing EXACTLY what to expect on the exam, and makes sure no question is left unanswered. If you struggle with math, I suggest taking her. She clears everything up
Very strict. Don't let her see you even smell your phone because she will "send you to the hallway" (I didn't know I was in the 6th grade still...) Gets annoyed easily and marks up your paper even if you don't ask her for help. Really insists that you do not work on problems by yourself, but with a partner.
Ms. Wahab is simply straight to the point, and without time for everyones BS! She sets very clear criteria and provides many resources throughout the semester. I have ADHD and I worked alone on classwork with earplugs, without any problems! Communicate your needs with your instructors people! Also, deal w/the phone policy, we arent in 6th grade.
On day one she gave everyone a syllabus that said what we were going to learn on each day we came to class so you knew what to expect. She does grade fairly and will give partial credit to you on the parts of the question you did right. The homework was on Connect Math but not too hard. Tests werent too hard as long as you paid attention in class.
Teaches very fast and often has very muddled notes on the board. If you are an EXTREMELY quick note taker who has already taken trig, you will probably be fine. If not, be prepared to teach yourself from the book. Has a personal vendetta against cell phones and interrupts teaching time to lecture about how they're "distraction devices".
It was a pleasure having this professor. She is so sweet and genuinely cares about all of her students. She is excellent at explaining things and gives plenty of examples. I noticed some people in the class didn't like her, but it was because they struggled with the subject and were the same people who didn't follow along or take notes.
Very horrible teacher. I got 100 percent on the final and decides to give me an 80 percent just because of suspicion and doesn't even go by their own syllabus.
In class assignments with feedback. Lectures are clear if you read the book ahead of time. She is a kind soul that loves to teach. If you disrespect her (talk during lecture, go on phone) she will be upset, but she does not hold grudges against you. She wants you to succeed and learn. Does not make it difficult; you will succeed.
I love this professor. She really does care about your education and wants us to succeed and learn. She will do her best to help us, even if we decide to withdraw the class (I heard from other students). She does expect effort and respect to succeed in her class.
I took her class as a highschool student who was retaking PCalc, so I attended the first few 3-4 lectures and never again because I knew the material, but what lectures I did attend were very comprehensive and she is very invested in helping her students. Her emails might take a little bit of time but usually she'll straight up tell you the answer.
As long as you put in the effort and respect her, she is very understanding and will do anything to help you succeed. I am very thankful to have had her as a professor.
Expects you to know the material before attending lecture and only reviews it, which we meet twice a week for 2 1/2 hours each so theres no reason to not spend that time teaching us. Tests are done over zoom and everyone needs their camera on while unmuted. Incredibly distracting, never received below an A in math now Im barely passingStay clear.
She's honestly a good teacher! She took her time to make sure people understand the material and she's always willing to help out. It takes her a while to respond to emails. Her testing system is a little distracting since she makes us set up a camera and stay unmuted the entire time. Not a lot of extra credit options
She proclaims that the class is not self-taught, but expects us to know how to do the math before we even join lecture, which is just two hours of practice problems. She also requires us to be on zoom for the tests with cameras on and unmuted, this makes it hard to focus. Do not take this class if you actually want to be taught the material.
Professor Wahab is very nice and it looks like she cares about her students. The only thing I didn't like about her course was that you need to teach the lectures by yourself. You'll need to watch the boring videos from WebAssign and/or read the book before going to class because in class she'll only show how to do some problems from the book.
Please do not take this professor if you are trying to actually learn math. She expects you to know the material before you even go to class, and ends class everyday a hour early. If you are someone who struggles in math I highly recommend you dont take her class. When you ask for help, all she does is tell you to read the book and watch the videos
In a completely online course, Professor Wahab limited the tests including the final to only be taken in a 6 hour window on Sundays. While she was willing to let me take exams early due to working Sunday mornings, she did not allow me to make up the first test I missed, replacing it with 75% of my final. Also, her videos are extremely loud.
Genuinely the worst teacher I have ever had in my entire life, I am a 4.0 student and in her class I was receiving Fs . The homework grade system doesn't actually reflect your grades and exams are a guessing game of whats gonna be on there. Doesn't care about student sand everything is self taught. Is very rude and selfish. Please save yourself.
Please listen to me and save yourself the tears. I have never dealt with a teacher more selfish and rude in my entire life. The exams do not reflect the review and the homework grading system is complicated. She does not care if you fail the class. You have to teach yourself everything and she expects you to know everything before the class starts
Terrible teacher that doesn't teach. Dropped her class for a different Pre-calc teacher the first week. Im a straight A student but I didn't see myself getting higher than a C in her class due to the fact the students have to teach themself the topic every week. she is disrespectful and doesn't like answering questions. DO NOT TAKE HER.
I plan on withdrawing from this course because she makes it harder than it has to be. She seems nice enough, though, but shes not a good teacher. And it wouldnt kill her, as a college professor, to learn how to use some proper grammar in her writing.
IGNORE THE 1 STAR REVIEWS. This teacher is in my top 5 favorites (and I've had a lot of talented teachers). If you follow her instructions, complete things on time, and communicate well with her, you will learn a lot. If you're not willing to put in the work, you're going to fail (and the workload is very manageable, so there's no excuse).
I dropped this course about 5 weeks into the semester. Looking back, it wasn't entirely her fault. I just suck at math and it was a bad idea to enroll for an online section. Still, the lecture videos that were provided were confusing and unnecessarily long. The only reason I lasted 5 weeks was because of YouTube math vids.
If you want to have to buy YouTube premium to learn every problem from this class than sure, take Hanan Wahab. She goes super fast during lectures, does not explain problems clearly at all, and writes very confusing which makes taking notes very hard.
Took an on-line asynchronous course. Software set-up (by Prof. Wahab) often didn't include any solutions or guided solutions, which meant I often couldn't figure out what I did wrong. I was told that the instructor set it up that way. If you would like to learn Algebra, don't take this one and don't take her classes.
Hanan Wahab was a great professor! Paying attention to in-class assignments and homework will guarantee an A.
watch the videos and read the notes when they say to. it was the only reason i passed!
Wahab sorta just does the bare minimum. She will tell you to read the textbook and watch videos beforehand, and then does not lecture. Instead she RUSHES through a few examples, and sends you off on your own to figure everything else out. Test reviews do not prepare you for the test, it's a guessing game of what will be on the test. No extra credit
You will most likely not understand what she is doing in class. I recommend if you are going to take this professor, do the homework for that section before going to class, so when you get to class, you can do the in-class work and leave early; she doesn't care if you leave if you are done. The topics are not difficult, take a second to understand.
Professor Wahab was nice, she's quick with emails, and has a thick accent but is understandable. Reading the book before class is expected but most people didn't. If you need help she'll try to explain it during the in-class practice time. No technology in class. There are in-class assignments and on exams she allows you an index card of notes.
She wants the students to learn the materials by videos on YouTube so they can understand her in class or just ask her questions as she goes through the lecture
She is "not good with computers" and left me waiting for 15 minutes during a scheduled office hours meeting while she loudly gossiped with a friend. She never answered any of my questions, was difficult to contact out of class, and held all of her exams on Sunday. It was nearly impossible to find any of the information needed.
Hanan overall was a good professor. You're expected to either read the textbook or watch videos before coming to class. Lectures are short and you have a sheet of example problems during to lecture to complete. If you finish it you can leave early. Exams are not bad and you get a notecard. You do a lot of work outside of class but it's not that bad
She was so nice. Ignore all the other bad reviews. Trust me, take Calculus 1 with her. BEST TEACHER
As someone with both dyslexia and discalcula, this class is nearly impossible to pass. Not only is she rushing through everything like she has somewhere to be, but shes also doing the bare minimum in terms of teaching actual content. Plus, all learning is expected to be done at home.
This teacher expects you to learn the material out of class. Her class explanations are very fast and not in-depth. She will give you assignments at th end of each class, which she will collect and count toward your grade. I would not recommend this teacher. She will tell you to watch the lecture videos posted and read the textbook.
I cannot believe she is still "teaching" when her lectures consist of her rambling through questions and sending you off blind. She expects you to teach yourself. For many that doesnt work. You go to class expecting to be taught but are instead ridiculed and disregarded. Many students left class angry, to which she would bad mouth them. Insane!
She was overall just fine. She used the flipped classroom method which was just not my favorite. She wants you to read extremely long videos before class, and then lectures on the exact same thing, so class feels very pointless. As long as you do the work you'll be fine, but there was a lot. Also went on a lot of tangents about life.
Amazing teacher. If you care about learning and want to learn, this is your course. If you want to learn to gain knowledge, then the A will come to you. This teacher gives good lectures to students. Everything is online except the textbook, but, there are tons and lots of helpful tools that are given in this class. Best teacher, recommended 100%.
Hanan is great! She spends the first half of class explaining the material then gives problems to finish in class to see that we understood. You're allowed to redo it if you get problems wrong and they're short. You're allowed to leave class when you're done. She wants us to watch lectures before class but it's ok if you don't.
She is not nice! She accused multiple students of cheating throughout the semester without any proof. She yells at students in front of other students! Her lectures are lackluster and not helpful at all. Avoid her at all costs! You won't learn anything!
Never take a class with Hanan, she accused me of cheating on multiple occasions as well as told me I could not leave the classroom to use the restroom or anything during a 2.5hr lecture. It got to the point where I was doing worse in the class because I was so anxious around her, worried she would accuse me of anything and fail me. Do not take her.
Worst teacher I have ever taken. You have to teach yourself everything before you go over it in class otherwise you won't understand anything and will fail. She does not teach in her lectures at all and is hard to follow. I would have failed this class if i didn't spend hundreds on tutoring. DO NOT RECOMMEND
Hanan's class is challenging, but engaging with the flipped classroom approach can pay off. While the lectures may feel rushed, using unstuck ai and the free textbook can help fill the gaps. Stay focused and you'll learn a lot.
I only passed this class with an A because I am good at math not because she was a good lecturer. Was very nervous at the start of the semester because she always said to read/watch lessons beforehand. I never did and did just fine in the class. She is very nice and the exams had a LOT of extra credit.
Her lectures were almost impossible to follow, she would rush through everything, and on top of that she does have a heavy accent. Her test reviews did not reflect the actual exam material. She was also very rude in class, and had clear favorites - the kids who taught us for her when we didn't understand. I don't recommend.
GUYS, PLEASE DO NOT TAKE THIS PROFESSOR. TAKE SOMEONE ELSE, SHE GAVE ME THE MOST DIABOLICAL TIME IN MY LIFE. IM BEGGING, TAKE SOMEONE ELSE BUT HER. SHE WAS SO RUDE TO ME THAT I DECIDED TO SELF-PACE THE WORK ON MY OWN. DO NOT TAKE!!! AWFUL EXPERIENCE.
She is very nice if you put in the effort in talking to her. The lectures are long, but class usually ends early if you finish the worksheet on time. The homework is a lot but if you do it all then the tests will be very easy. She gives a lot of extra credit and is willing to work with you to make sure you get an A.
Great professor, explained things well and was easy to tell what she was looking for.
Do not recommend.
She's the worst professor ever. Don't suggest her, and there is a lot of homework and four tests; if you don't score more than 50% on the exam, you will straight away fail the class. She is never prepared, and she speaks with an accent that makes it difficult to understand. Don't recommend her at all
She's so annoying. I had a 98% overall grade in the class. She gave me an incomplete because I didn't submit my extra work within 5 minutes after I submitted the test. Not sure why she's so weird, but definitely would not recommend.
She explains everything well and is fair with grading. Great for students who are serious about learning.
She might be strict, but she is such a great professor. There're four exams plus a final. You can replace your lowest exam grade with your final exam score - making it easier to get an A.
one of the kindest professors. She genuinely cares about her students and makes sure everyone understands the material.
Great professor! Just put in the effort and she will support you every step of the way.
Some students don't like her cause she's kinda strict in the class. She just wants us to pay attention to the lecture. But she's such a great professor and explains things really well.
Worst professor of all time. Don't recommend her
I had Wahab for precaulc. She is an intense, focused lecturer, but very clear and kind. It is necessary that you follow the lecture in real time to be prepared for in-class work due at the end of each class, but it's not hard if you pay attention and do your homework
worst teacher ever. never responds to emails, and never even helps in class. After she lectures in class she just makes the other students help the ones that are confused. She makes dumb jokes abt students and just flies thru her lectures by doing the problems by herself w out explaining on the projector and won't even look up to answer ur question
